Sandi is AMAZING! She wants you to succeed & will help you in any way she can. Her lecture comes straight from her powerpoints & puts on Angel. Her test reviews are pretty much the test (take notes of the review). Does not req. lab book, but is adds 10% to your grade if you complete all the lab chpt. reviews. You can't wrong with her, she's awesome

New to JOCO, but knows her stuff. She is not like other professors and requires you to know ALL the bones, muscles, etc... Usually labs are 50 points (labels) and the theory is 50 points (multiple choice). Glad I took her!

Sandi is a teacher who wants you to learn and retain the information.She is not the type of professor who wants you to cram and dump the information at the end of the test. Listen to her and she explains the important information and continues relating to each system through out the entire course.You wont be sorry you choose her class.

The best teacher I ever had very very thorough and repeats so you can understand. I hardly opened the book. A lot of power point and organized. I learned and made a high "A", that never happens to me. AWESOME!!!!!!! Need to get in as fast as possible because her classes close quickly.

Sandi is the best professor I have ever had! This class takes time just like any other 4 credit hour class, but she is very clear about what is expected. If you go to every class and takes good notes over her test review and study, you are guaranteed to pass this class because of the effort you put in.

She is an amazing professor. Would recommend her highly! No need to buy the textbook because she prepares Power Points on DSL. Print them and bring to class; add your notes to them. Come to class - she gives you everything you need to pass if you put in the effort. She expects you to participate in class. You'll learn far more if you do.

This woman is amazing. She knows how to teach the course with a medical focus and make it seem easy. You will need to study, but she creates a stress free learning environment that anyone can learn in. Whenever you need help cementing an idea in you mind she will focus on you and walk you through it all as many times as you need.

Anatomy is a tough subject. There is no way around that. Be prepared to study hard and dedicate a lot of time outside of class to learning the material. If you're willing to do that, AND come to class and show that you really care about LEARNING, Dr. Brown will do everything she can to help you get that A. She takes time to answer your questions.

Decided she didnt like doing it and became an MD. shes crazy smart and understands the pre-med student life. For her Lab Exams she worked with us and asked how do you want your practical to look? You may take Ls in college, but this isnt one

She doesn't try to confuse students, her tests are very fair. If you come to class and study there's no way you can fail her class. I promise you won't regret taking her lass.

Dr. Brown is awesome and so sweet! For her human anatomy course, you really don't need to buy the book unless you want to. All of her materials are on her powerpoints with some helpful handouts for practice. She so willing to help you in class and to do well in whatever career you're pursuing. Material is hard, but with studying you can get an A.

The book is online and you have assignments each unit from the book! The assignments are easy just time consuming. There's one or two quizzes each unit as well. For the lab test, just do the practice lab online and take notes and you'll be fine! As long as you do your work it's an easy A.

All I have to say is that Sandi is AMAZING!! She is very clear with everything she expects on quizzes and exams. She is also extremely helpful if you have any questions. She understands that sometimes life happens and that you might need to miss a class. I definitely would recommend her best professor ever!!

I was nervous to take this class while still working a full time job. The material is difficult on its own but Sandi does a wonderful job breaking it down in her narrated ppts. The textbook comes with a LearnSmart feature so you can see what material you've mastered vs. what you need to review. Exams pull heavily from her ppts & the lab review.

Online class was very organized which is highly appreciated. Easy A, but got a B because I rushed through the last exam. She is always offering help and assistance. Took in the summer, would definitely recommend doing. The only thing I disliked were the LearnSmart assignments because they took so long to complete & very tedious.

Professor Brown is such a caring professor. At the end of the day, she will be there for you and only wants what's best for you. Anatomy is a hard class and it being online is no exception. You have to memorize all of the body parts if you want to keep this with you for future classes and plans. The tests are all open notes but studying is key.

Professor Brown is the best teacher! Her lectures are detailed and really helped me understand the topics well. The exams are challenging, but if you study the labs and take the quizzes she gives you, you will do very well. She is so encouraging. She quickly responds to emails and grades assignments fast. I would definitely recommend this class.

I would definitely take her if you can. She cares about you in the classroom and outside the classroom. She connects with her students, and is very understanding. She is so good at explaining things, and helps with all learners, she uses a lot of diagrams during lectures to show you what she is talking about. She responds to emails right away.

Sandi went above and beyond to help her students. This is not an easy class, and she was willing to adjust the timeline accordingly when it became clear the students were having trouble. Most tests were in person, but she changed at least two to online, allowing for open notes. It's exceedingly clear she cares about her class. I highly recommend.

Dr. Brown is one of the most caring, kind, and authentic professors I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and learning from in an academic setting. She prioritizes our learning & will check in to ask if she's going too fast or if we need a break. Two-part exams: theory and lab practicum. Theory is on your own, lab practicums are with groups. Exams are most of your grade, quizzes help but don't affect it much. Comprehensive final and she doesn't reuse exams from past years.

BEST instructor I've ever had. Easily makes engaged students retain information and knows what she's talking about. Is understanding with assignments as long as you're genuinely putting in the effort. Exams are decently collaborative and she allows herself to be a resource. Empathetic and inspiring.
