Really spunky and hyper great to be around teaches well.
She is super hyper and cute. She's super sweet! She replies to texts really fast and will reply to emails fast, too. If you don't get an A in her classes then you're not trying at all. I took 1111 & now 1107 with her. I wish she was teaching 1106. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I still try to go most of the time anyways. I got over a 100 in 1111
If you do not take her for this class, you're missing out. She loves what she is doing and she wants you to do well. The homework and the quizzes are super easy. All of her tests are open-note open-book. There is absolutely no way you won't receive and A. Very helpful and easy. TAKE HER
Yes she has a great upbeat personality, but if you've never taken statistics before I wouldn't suggest taking this class. It all depends on what type of learner you are. She does offer a lot of extra credit though.
Prof Sandee is the best math teacher I have ever had. She loves what she is doing and she does not make the course super hard. The homework is always pick 20 and the tests are take home, even the midterm. She makes the class fun but attendance is not mandatory. I recommend her all the way!
Don't take this class. So much work and tests are nothing like the homework problems. You'll regret it. much better teachers. look elsewhere.

Her tests are not like her homework. You have to teach yourself. I could do the homework but the tests were extremely hard.

Thought her class was going to be easy in the beginning. Boy was I wrong. She goes super fast in class & whenever we ask questions she doesn't explain the problem. Midterm was take home and I made a C. Nothin like what was on the homework. Homework was easy, choose 20 every time & a 1 question quiz for each section. You have to learn it yourself
She is so sweet, funny, and nice! She uses My Math Lab, which that was the only difficult thing was dealing with that, so, be prepared for that to be a bit difficult. Every class period is just notes that we can get off of My Math Lab. Other than that, I would totally take from her again!
SHE'S FANTASTIC!! so so so so so easy! all the homework is online, 30 easy quizzes, no test, one midterm and a final. TONS TONS TONS of extra credit opportunities!!! please please please take her she's so corky and great!!! EASY A!!!!!! you don't even need the textbook, I promise
Prof. Sandee is quite a character. She's loud and excited about math. Most of all, she makes it really hard to fail. She gives a lot of extra credit. The only bad thing is she uses MyMathLab (which sucks) and there is a TON of homework. Otherwise, easy class. Attendence is not mandatory.
She doesn't teach well and she is very annoying. Her tests are hard and the class sucks.
the people that complain come to class and don't do homework. about half the class takes notes and does homework and the other half just sits there and watches. if you want an a or b, then do your optional homework. If you want to do poorly and complain here about math being hard, then keep sitting in a chair and playing on your phone. m
I took her for math 1111. She's good but she doesn't care if you attend class so it's easy to get behind. All the assignments are online and she'll push dates back if you ask her nicely. The final and midterm are tough and the final is worth more than every other grade in class. I'd recommend someone else tbh
She gives a ton of extra credit opportunities, 2 exams (take home mid-term) and final, one group project that is extremely easy, and all homework and quizzes are online.
On my math lab the quizes are crazy hard, out of 10 I probably passed 5, but she gives so much extra credit I didn't need to pass any. She is really nice and I guarantee you this is an easy A. I didn't pay attention all year, so when I got the final I was lost., but some how I still got a B on it, guaranteeing my A in the class. Only need EBook.
I took Prof. Chandler this semester, and I have to say this lady is a character. She really loves what she is doing. It may come off as a little weird, because she is always laughing and saying "math is our friend". Attendance is not mandatory, but missing class makes what's on the test even harder to comprehend. But there is tons of extra credit!!
This was the easiest class I have taken. I took her for PreCalc and easily got an A. She is very quirky but she makes math seem interesting. She also gives a lot of extra credit.
It's funny when you read that some people say she is hard and some say she is easy. If you do your homework and write down the problems on the board, you get an A or B. If you don't do the homework and don't write the problems down, you get a C or below. It's funny how the back of the classroom fails and the front makes good gradesm.
She always says things like "math is our friend" and "isn't this fun?" But she is a very good teacher and makes all assignments very clear. She gives plenty of extra credit and there's no way not to get an A as long as you do your homework and quizzes.
Super easy class. She is very clear, goofy, and does not take attendance. Your grades consist of 1-3(at the most) weekly homework assignments, due the same day each week(only 20 questions each). One, 1 question quiz after each hw assignment, but she offers tons of extra credit so if you miss it you're fine. 1 midterm and a final, No tests! Take it!
She is the life size version of Amy Hall, the crazy lady with the stuffed animals from Kim Possible!!! Went to class for the 1 group presentation and final and made a B. Not super good at math, but everything is online: MathLab so u dont have to go to class. Very understanding and will push assignments back if its a stressful week. enjoys her job
This class was kind of joke. Maybe the material itself was too easy for me, but I loved Professor Sandee! Although she was very energetic for an 8 am, she is very sweet and the class was a breeze!
Her homework assignments are ridiculous. Literally over 200 my math problems for chapter 1. She said she wouldn't give us as much homework again, but she gave us 150 problems for every other chapter. Her wittiness can get annoying at times, but at least she's passionate about her career. Don't take if you don't want to do a lot of busy work.
Professor Sandee is awesome! She is so laid back and very helpful. If anyone gave her a bad review its because they never showed up to class and didn't ask for help. She is very understanding of your needs as a student too! Best teacher ever, I highly recommend her!
She gives about 150 homework problems in math lab that you must do every few weeks. You have a bunch of online quizzes that are the hardest versions of problems in the book. That's why she has to give extra credit bc the quizzes are very hard. Most people seem to make 50-70 percent on quizzes.
Professor "Sandee", as she likes to be called, is NOT good at explaining problems, doesn't even spend the time to make her own power points (so she doesn't understand the ones she teaches off of), and gives SO much homework. I had 2 weeks to do 250 problems on my math lab. Have fun if you take her......
Prof Sandee is very upbeat and she loves what she does. She's actually very helpful but she give a ton of homework, all on mymathlab. Expect to do countless hours of homework a week if you want to get at least a B on it. Her quizzes are on mymathlab but they are extremely difficult. Take home midterm also very hard.
She gives an incredible amount of homework on math lab that is taken for a grade. About 140 problems every week or two. The quizzes are online, but they are extremely hard and I am a pretty good math student. Getting a 50-70 percent on quizzes is quite average. Tests are hard. You MUST do the extra credit to pass.
She is a good person, but that's about all that is going for her. She assigns 150 problems on My Math Lab with like 3-5 parts each, took me 5 hours for each chapter. And they are worth so little of your grade. However, her midterm and final (only two tests) come from that so you have to do it. WAY too much work. She gives EC but its hard to complet
Math lab problems take you about 5 hours for about 140-150 problems per 2 weeks. Sometimes she pushes the date back because they are so time consuming. Quizzes and Tests are extremely hard, so she give off campus and oncampus extra credit for 1 whole point. THe class needs to be longer because there is not enough class time to teach the material
Tons of my math lab homework. If you don't do it, you won't pass her impossible quizzes. Her quizzes and tests are really hard. They are basically the hardest problems from the book. I struggled, made it out due to the extra credit.
Homework is ridiculously long and quizzes and tests are tough. She gives some extra credit to pull you through. Without it, I wouldn't have passed. Hard class.
VERY EASY CLASS. I got an A+ barely coming to class and when I did...I didn't pay attention. Has two test (one is a take home). My tests in high school were harder. Lots of homework problems online. And two projects. Long boring lectures. Honestly, I don't recommend if you actually want to learn something. K
whoever said this class is easy must be a math wiz. The class is NOT a repeat of high school precalc. It is much more difficult and math lab quizzes are HARD. The math lab homework is also hard even though you get unlimited tries. I got a B, but I worked very hard and did extra credit do keep from getting a c.
I was so nervous about my first math level credit class. As i just finished with the 098 series. She is a goofball, made the whole class smile and laugh the whole morning. Shes a bit scatter brained but all in all very helpful. Just speak up and shell help..
She's a really good teacher, very energetic and cool. the homework is really easy and she gives a take home mid term.
I loved how Ms. Chandler was always so energetic and reminding you "math is our friend." Even when some concepts were difficult she took the time to go through everything clearly. Do the mymathlab homework and pay attention to it, because it helps a lot. Tests can be difficult. Mid term is take home, and we got to use an index card on the final.
Great professor! I struggled with math in high school but with Prof. Sandy I actually learned and understood. There is a good bit of homework for every chapter but she gives you more than enough time to do it. There is a quiz after each homework assignment but they are very short- like 5 questions max. Mid term is take home. Gives extra credit too.
Her quizzes and tests are really difficult, even if you study. I just finished taking a final exam, only 8 questions for a cumulative exam, and it was unbelievably hard. I know I failed, but i hope she curves them. I studied for 3 days too.
Professor Sandee was really great this semester. She gives lots of extra credit and if you need help, she's readily available. It takes her a while to grade things, but the class itself is fine. She's super funny and won't hesitate to remind you that "math is our friend."
Excellent teacher, I was dreading having to take applied calculus,but she made it easy to understand, and to follow. She gives ALOT of extra credit do be sure to do it, it could save your grade. Overall, there was a good amount of homework and quizzes, but nothing too terrible. 2 test, midterm was take home. Come to class and you'll be fine.
I dont understand how everyone says she is a really good teacher because it is clear that she doesn't remember anything from Calculus. I've always been ahead of the game in math but i fell behind in her class. Luckily i taught myself Calculus and i am doing great in her class. The assignments are extremely easy and the quizzes and tests are easier.
Dr. Sandy is funny nice and helpful. Although I don't really think shes good at explaining the work. Everything is based on powerpoint and learning objectives. I and many others don't get much out of her lectures. With that being said all the work is online and it is easy. I have not used the book once. There is much extra credit.
She is the most cheerful person about math. She likes to pretend she too doesn't understand something and then will stoop to our level to grow into the formulas with us. She is very helpful and funny. That does not mean the lecture is fun, but of course not because it's math.
"Math is our friend." You'll hear that all semester. Encouraging I suppose. Tons of homework but doable. Quizzes for each chapter. Midterm is take home and final is from the midterm on. Lots of extra credit given. Follow the powerpoint word by word though but it goes along with theMyMathLab assignments. I highly recommend her.
Hey, so, Professor Sandy is awesome! So fun- definitely recommend. She's really good at explaining things and will reteach concepts in class if most students don't understand. Do the EC. Do the HW. 40 graded HW questions for each chapter and a quiz with a few easy projects make up most of your grade. Definitely talk to her before and during class.
Professor Chandler is a nice person but she says "math is our friend" every 5 seconds and goes off on tangents, and it gets old. She blows through powerpoints and doesn't explain anything. She acts like you should already know it. Homework and quiz every chapter, midterm, final, plus small activities. If you miss even one class you will be so lost.
She is a wonderful professor and is really energetic, so the class is fun. In class, it's mostly working the problems, so attendance isn't really necessary if you can understand the material for the exams. There are 4+ group activities. She gives a few chances for extra credit as well.
Professor Chandler was very nice and very passionate about her subject. Be prepared to hear her singing to you about math in class. Quizzes and homework were online, and while this wasn't horrible, the quizzes were harder than the homework. She also went really fast on the powerpoints. Overall though, she was very nice. Remember math is our friend.
This class was so easy. All of the assignments were done online, and she gives you a ton of extra credit. The final and midterm were both take home, and we graded our own. I took the Honors Section and got a 100 with all of the extra credit.
I loved Professor Sandee! If you need help, she's more than willing, and all classwork is manageable (A few group projects, take home tests, and some homework in WebAssign). She also gives a hefty dose of extra credit. Attendence is not mandatory, and if you have events throughout the semester she is more than willing to work with you.
I took this class after getting a D in my other Math1111 class. I needed to retake the class for admission requirements and also to help my overall GPA. This class uses ALEKS so you teach yourself from the computer. There were 14 objectives, 5 tests, 4 extra credit, one group project, and a final exam. If I could do it, anyone can do it.
She is a great person but her teaching method is not the best. Most come out with a great grade but no one understands all of the information. If you need to go on to higher maths i would not recommend.
Such a breathe of fresh air. I advise all people with Math anxiety (it's real) to take her in each area of math you need that she teaches.
Took her for calc 1 in the summer. Easy A. Sadly I didn't learn anything though. I'm taking calc 2 now and am now realizing I've made a mistake by taking her. I'm so lost in calc 2. HERES THE SUMMARY. If you're not going on to another math I would take her. If you are, defenitely don't.
All of the work is online so basically is an online class. You mostly go at your own pace and never go to class. I have it MWF and I only go for 15 minutes for a worksheet on Wednesdays, so that's very nice. You completely decide if you make an A, all the work even tests are on you. Has never lectured, not once. Easy class.

Incredibly hard class. I practically am teaching myself based off the powerpoint she posts online that she also lectures with. Gives HW and quizzes online with only two tests. This are super hard and people rarely pass.
Her tests are too hard and she doesn't realize it. She should put problems on the test that she goes over in class. Instead, her tests are impossible. She needs to give more extra credit so people can actuallyy pass the class. I would not take her again
She really wants her students to pass. Gives lots of extra credit. Only 2 tests, midterm and final and both are not many questions, and are pretty difficult. All home work and quizzes are online. nice woman but lectures straight out of textbook which is boring and confusing
The class is mostly online, so I've never seen her lecture, but she is very enthusiastic about math, and will literally run to help you with a concept. She does give a group project that counts for a large portion of the grade, so find out who the smart people in the class are. Do your online work early, or you risk having to cram at the end .
She's pretty cool and laid-back. She basically reads off power points for the most part. There was one group project and another for extra credit, which she gives a lot of. Only two tests, the midterm and the final, but she told us everything we needed to study for. Overall good but might want to use outside resources to understand the class itself
Dr. Sandee is nice but her tests are very hard and her quizzes are complex. I'm pretty good at math, but I struggled immmensely. Final exam was impossible.
So Miss. Sandy is awesome. She is energetic and you can text her anytime if you have problems on the homework. If you do your homework, you cannot fail the class. I got bad grades on both tests and got a B.
All work is done through an online program which is super user friendly. She is available if you have questions and is very helpful. Tests are online as well. There are deadlines you have to meet but as long as you do, you will pass. She gives group assignments once a week so you only really have to come to class on that specific day. Great prof.

The class is quite hard, but Prof. Chandler makes it very engaging. She is very glad to help confused students, and she makes the class simple, if not easy. Be warned; there is a group project, so start recruiting for your team early on in the semester. The homework and quizzes are online, so set aside a lot of time for that and for the reading.

Great professor!! Math, especially Calc, is super hard but she made it so much fun!
She is very understanding about attendance. Ms. Chandler will go out of her way to help students after hours. If you give this class an effort, do all extra credit and homework, and study for the tests, you will pass.
Best math class I've taken. She's very easy to understand, gives fairly easy assignments, and doesn't grade attendance. Work was done through online ALEKS which is also pretty good.
Professor Chandler is a really sweet lady, but I wouldn't recommend taking her for a summer class. She doesn't understand how to manage her time well, so she ends up falling really far behind, which is the worst thing to happen during a summer semester. Overall, she's pretty understanding and patient, but wouldn't be a first pick.
Mrs. Sandee is literally the sweetest lady Ive ever met. Given this class was very easy, it was easy to achieve an A. I taught myself the whole semester and only went to class when I didnt understand something(attendance isnt mandatory). If you are fine learning yourself and can do online homework(only 3 assignments) youll do great!
Prof Sandee is a sweet lady. Her class is 2 tests (midterm and final). 3 hw's, 3 quizzes, 3 team quizzes all online. Math is not my strong suit but I made a 100 in this class because she gave so much extra credit, and i went to the math center for help. Every point you earn matters in this class! TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT, DO IT ALL!!
prof sandee seems like a totally oblivious sweet old lady. a lot of online quizzes and homework. she's also very accessible outside of class and gives her personal cell number so you can text her with questions & she responds quickly. very nice & very accommodating/understanding. attendance not mandatory so I went probably 4 times in the semester
You will do at least 1 group project which is weird but it provides hidden points to bump your average up. TONS of extra Credit. Seriously DO IT. lectures are a big whiff and you will teach yourself and if you want a good foundation for future math courses, this will not be a good class for you but you will get an A if you do the HW.
"Math is our friend". Professor Sandee is a sweet person, she tries to be funny, always respond to your question even if it means using a long time of her class. We have long homework on Aleks but the website is really helpful. She always gives us a practice test which is super helpful. A great teacher would have classes with her again.

She has the sweetest soul and is so understanding. Her class is an easy A. Turn in your work on Aleks, and submit all team quizzes and you will do fine. Id take her class for everything if I could!
Prof. Sandee is awesome and very sweet, you should take her. I guess everything is on ALEKS now? So lectures aren't really a thing, but she was always there to help you understand anything, and gives lots of extra credit. HW's make up the bulk of your grade also, so you should be able to earn a high grade no problem. I'd take her again for sure!
Prof. Sandee is such a caring and passionate soul. She is the example of someone who loves her job. Although the class in-person everything is done online through ALEKS. However she is always ready to explain and walk you through any problem that stumps you. There are so many extra credit opportunities that its so easy to pass with above a 100.
