Mrs. D is the bomb.. She is down to earth and well rounded just like every professor should be. She will give you assignments that might seem useless to begin with, but they are really helpful.. They say time always fly when your having fun and that is exactly what happens every class with her.

I took this class as a half hybrid, which I didn't regret because all assignments were posted online and easy to see and comprehend. In class time was spent talking and doing activities in groups. She often used candy to get all of us to participate, and pump up the enthusiasm. She's a great teacher for incoming students.

She is a great teacher. She is funny and nice. She does games sometimes to help us understand the material better. You only need to buy the book for the connect access code if you have her for hybrid. Take her. You won't regret it.

It was the first class I took in college, and I loved the experience. Everything was well taught and so clear; I wished she could teach other classes, especially the hard subjects because I know for a fact that she would find a way to make it easy.

She reads all papers and gives actual feedback, and lets you get personal with her, and she does back. I absolutely loved her, and this class! Honestly, best class I've ever taken, and best professor I've ever had.

By far the best SLS teacher at PBS. She truly cares about each of her students and makes class so easy and fun. Super easy going and laid back. Getting an A in the class was a cake walk. She is very understanding if you can't attend a class (with a given reason) and wants to see her students growth progress! Wish I could take her again.

She's all about the students in her classes, if you have a problem, you have to let her know. She will try to accommodate to your problem so you're able to complete work on time. She wants you to express your true self in class. This is SLS, it is not Biochemistry 3 plus lab, don't expect much of a challenge, but be prepared to do bookwork online.

Her class prepares you for college and gives you resources you can use in the future. lots of candy(And stories about her life) In her class participation is key. Do your learn smarts and check your blackboard daily!!!!

Professor Sandy is great! Attendance IS mandatory and she does NOT accept excuse notes from doctors, jobs, etc. You are allowed up to 5 days of absences for her class. After that, she will reduce participation points. There's a lot of collaboration in class, and she requires you to come out of your shell and speak to people near you in the class.

I had Professor Sandy as a hybrid class and did not do too many assignments weekly on McGraw-Hill. Provided mostly a lot of YouTube videos and ted talks to help with the topic. She was very helpful and caring; she doesn't accept late work but gives out lots of extra credit opportunities. Easy A!

Class was very easy. There is 3 discussion boards and 3 video assignments and the rest were McGrawHill assignments and 9ish quizzez. Most of the McGrawHill assignments are based on participation, not accuracy. You can take the quizzez 2 times. Discussion boards 100 word min. posts and 2 100 word min. replies. NO LATE WORK, lots of extra credit tho.
