This professor is new to valencia but has been teaching for a long time and you can tell. Her lectures are easy to understand and if you don't get it, ask and she'll easily go in depth on it. You do examples in class to make sure you grasp it, you have homework and it's annoying but not terrible. Only math teacher I've taken that made me enjoy math

Tests are just like examples in class and the homework is not excessive. She creates an enjoyable atmosphere which is just a bonus!

She gives you hw on MathLab for every section you go over. She gives 4 tests (all fill in, no multiple choice) and a few quizzes. At the end of the semester, she will drop a quiz and a hw grade, but not a test. She doesn't offer extra credit. She is a great prof you just have to make sure you STUDY for tests and do all your hw, I def recommend!

Makes learning fun. Has different ways to approach problems. Give homework which is great practice. Really break things down for better understanding.

She is by far the best math teacher I have ever had, she cares about you learning and understanding the material. She is easy to get a hold of, you definitely have your work cut out for you but she wants everyone to succeed. To start, Draper is AMAZING. Genuine and caring. Honest & up front in her teaching ways. Does not teach STATS how other profs do, she teaches from her own problems and is very interactive in class. I have NEVER earned an "A" on a math exam before, ive taken STATS 3 times & prof Drapers way of teaching helped me pass. TAKE HER!!!

Professor Draper is really smart, experienced, funny, and has a very interactive teaching style. We frequently used in-class surveys on silly topics in our examples. Her lectures are thorough but somewhat fast, so take good notes. But she posts ppts and is quick to respond to emails, so no excuses for a bad grade. Overall: 5/7 A+ would take again.

She is very passionate about calculus, and she gets students to feel that same passion. She bonds the class together and you'll really feel like the class is a family. She will review topics from earlier prereq courses as a refresher before doing a section that will involve those materials. She is extremely helpful and her tests aren't that hard.

Expected this class to be the hardest thing ever because I got a C in College Alg & I struggled in intermediate math but I was wrong. stats is the EASIEST MATH EVER. Best Professor ever, cares about you and the tests are basically variations of homeworks. Homeworks are not graded but you are encouraged to do the homework so you can ace the tests. Her grade is based on the grade that you get on your tests so be prepared

Professor Draper is a very talented mathematician. Business Calc was a very difficult course for me. If you have not taken College Algebra recently this makes is that much more difficult to learn. Lots of word problems are required, tons of homework is assigned in order for you to be able to pass the exams. Make sure you speak up if you need help!

Professor Draper is a brilliant math teacher, she is able to create a comfortable and exciting learning environment. However, it is a math class, so don't expect to pass without the minimum commitment required. Just do your homework and show up to class that you will be fine. Pro. Draper is the best math teacher ever shes nice and very helpful and respectful also. I would take her again and again if I had the chance, she's very clear on explaining how to do the problem and would show you in the easiest way possible. The HW and test are not hard at all, you just have to study and you will be fine.

I started with a different professor but her teaching method wasn't working for me. Ms. Draper only had one available seat and she was kind enough to let me transfer. She was AMAZING! I took her for Calc 1 & Calc 2 shes by far the GOAT of all math professors. Shes a mathematician, math wizard, a real gem! I wish I knew about her earlier I wouldve took her for every math possible. Professor Draper is a true gem in the Math department. I went into this class terrible at math, rusty and not confident in my math skills at all. I LOVE Professor Draper! Math WIZ! She knows her math and teaches it better than the books. She starts with baby steps and works her way up which really helps because if you aren't sure about a math concept that you have learned before or have just forgotten about it, she lays out the steps first. The class is fast paced so attendance is a must.

AMAZING!! Definitely made Calc 2 easy, especially after almost failing Calc 1. She is very caring and will do he absolutely best to make sure that you get the help you need! However, be prepared for the amount of homework, not overly terrible for a math class but definitely requires plenty of time outside the class.

I have always thought that math was not my subject and I kept failing with other profs. In just 6 weeks she layed out everything in a way that really made it easy to understand, just do your work in ALEKS and pass the quizzes. She encouraged the people in the class to know each other so that we'd have a support system, which is so important.

Proffessor Draper is a good teacher and cares alot genuinely but taking her online has been ROUGH. 5 tests in total, the lectures videos are good but the homework is where you really learn how to do the work and most times I would understand the material then learn something completely new then get lost again. Maybe she's better to take in person.

Professor Draper is one of the best Mathematics professors Ive ever had, shes very caring, talks to students after class about a whole wide range of Maths topics. Tests are easy if you do your homework (which isnt a lot compared to my other classes). Ive have witnessed her answer every single question a student has asked with sincerity. Worth it.

Clear and concise grading criteria, very test heavy. Took her online, lessons consisted of 1 to usually 2 videos recorded on the given topic. Clear and concise videos, however she would occasionally make mistakes or forget to include exam topics on videos. HW wasn't time consuming. VERY responsive, answers every email and message. Very kind.

Her class was pretty easy and great. She will work with you to solve problems you have. Her videos are pretty helpful. Recommend.

Online is pretty much self-taught. take notes on examples provided on hw to use for reference later. Always do the study guides for tests, and redo them over and over until you are confident. Tests/exams in person but it wasn't hard enough to stress over. Study and you'll do fine. Super accessible and considerate. Very nice professor.

She gives homework every week which are your main assignments, and four tests for each set of sections, my only problem is that she gives no study guides which is not the best so you have to guess what is going to be on the test which was not fun, other than that she is a great teacher if you watch the lectures do the homework and study. Prof Draper made her own videos for each section which I found very helpful. Her exams weren't really like the homework that much and they were a little difficult. I wouldn't take her again because 80% of the grade being exams is a little crazy. If you're a bad test taker, this might not be the best professor for you.

In order to pass Prof Draper's class with a high grade you really just gotta do homework every day so that it doesnt pile up on the weekend and be there on every lecture.
