I really enjoyed Dr. Gramling. Lectures were really heavy at times, but she makes it interesting. Textbook is absolutely needed for this class to better explain some topics.

Good professor. Although the lectures are boring if you're not into science and they are very heavy. Not that hard to get an A but you will have to put in work for it. The syllabus has everything.

she is really nice, and she makes psych 101 a very accessible course, as long as you do the out of class labs and assignments the class shouldn't be too difficult to get through. she also offers tons of extra credit. I would definitely take her again

She is a great teacher who understands that psychology is not your only class. So she has a buffer for your grade. The class requires you to do a decent amount of work per week but its not difficult. I currently have an A and definitely recommend you to take her for PSYCH 101.

Professor Gramling is the best by far. She gives a lot of assignments but they are super easy. She gives 2 online tests, 1 in class midterm, and a final that is in class. She is very sweet and funny and her lectures are very interesting. Come to class because she does top hat questions and shows videos that she will ask about on the tests.

Dr. Gramling is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. I really liked learning about stress psych. The tests are online and each week you have a quiz and a little participation project. Both don't take long. Do go to class though because a lot of your points come from in class questions. Offers lots of extra credit.

Psych101 was your typical college course, huge lecture class with 250 people where you need to take notes off her powerpoint and study it for the test. She is a very understanding person. 2/4 test for the semester are done online so those are easy A's. The midterm and final is hard so you have to study hard. attendance only matters for top hat.

From Day 1, Gramling makes her expectations clear, but also makes this class practically zero stress. There's tons of grade boosters that are easy and two of the tests are online. The midterm and final you NEED to study for, but her lectures and overall expertise make the class breezy. Go to class because you'll learn and earn tons of points, too.

Psych 101 at VCU requires you to do a lot of labs, but these really aren't that difficult. Dr. Gramling makes every concept engaging and interesting with her use of examples and stories. You are tested on the textbook, but these tests are online and open-note, so you can really just use the index for those and don't really have to read the book.
