She makes everything very simple. The tests are pretty much word for word from the notes. she makes the class very enjoyable. there is no homework other than study for the tests. study the notes, and you will get an A.

I went to class once a week and missed an A by 26 points... point here is that the class is easy if you know your notes and pay attention to the labs and dissections.. know those parts! No homework 'cept study. 1100 pts possible, so its hard to get lower than a B. Really learn dissections and a B or A is yours

This class was CAKE. If you want to take a laid back class over the summer, this is the one to take. She gives you everything you need to know for the tests, but will occasionally throw in some obscure piece of information that she may have mentioned only once. She's energetic and fun while teaching.

One of the best teachers I ever had. She makes the class so much fun that you will enjoy it. If you like animals (yea, even if they are dead and you are cutting them open) then she is the best you can take. One suggestion = it's best to take her over summer.

Ms. Kreiling is the best teacher that I have had. The class is really fun and you still learn a lot. She is the Department Chair but that doesn't make her any strictly and harder. Take her and you won't regret.

You can really tell that she truly enjoys what she's teaching. When we were doing our labs, she was busy observing the various animals in the room, particularly the fish tanks. Overall, not too easy, but she does a extraordinary job of helping the student understand the subject. Show up to class, and ask for help when you need it, you'll do GREAT!

She was not the easiest teacher but I will have to say she is a great teacher. She made her class very interesting where other teachers may have made it very boring. Her tests are hard so study well. Dnt half ass it. Study for at least 2 hrs. But trust me it is well worth it. She has a good personality and her class is definitely worth it.

Study guides for exams handed out early enough to study. Offers some EC but not a lot. Not an easy class but she make the class really enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend!

Made it fun to learn and easy too

She started using powerpoints this semester. She lectures at a slow pace to make sure everyone understands what's going on. 3 exams & one noncumulative final, all multiple choice (MC). For lab, quiz every week (drop lowest 3) & 2 MC exams. There is about 1-2% extra credit possible. Take her class, especially for the marshmallow "demonstration"

In addition to what I stated below, book material is not on the exams. They are solely based on powerpoints (ppts). The ppts she posts on blackboard have blanks on them, so you should attend lecture to fill in the blanks. Overall, good class and good professor.

Obviously, Physiology can be a very deep subject. The book has a lot of extra detail that isn't covered in her class. She doesn't an excellent job reducing the detail to a strong overall understanding. She enjoys teaching the class and that comes through in her lectures. I'll never think of my body the same way again.

She is so nice! She makes physiology fun and easy. The only downside is she can talk a little slow sometimes which makes it hard to pay attention the whole time. Otherwise she is a great teacher, the best I've had at Harper!

I absolutely freaked abuot taking this class after the nightmare I had with my teacher in Anatomy but she is amazing! Any other science class I took before completely made sense after she explained it. Not difficult to get an A you just have to pay attention. She uses a lot of visual aids to help you remember things.

I was failing zoology and had to drop it the year before. But then I took it again but with Sandy. She's so awesome! I took it in the summer so we went outside often. We got to see new animals not just read about them. LOVED THIS CLASS, especially in the summer! TAKE IT!

We have this rumor that she is an easy teacher. When in fact she is EASIER to understand. She makes Physiology easier to understand in our today's generation vocabs. She even do presentation of how things actually work without using those iffy big words. She's a must!!

She's a great professor. Summer zoology is so easy, no homework other than studying for the exams. Lab practicals can be slightly difficult but there's no reason to not get an A as long as you study. I didn't even use the textbook, but you need it for the labs.

This class was alright. It was easier than anatomy (with Hyde), but you still have to study. The labs are super boring, but she makes the lectures fun and interesting. She is such a sweet woman. Sandy made physiology fun, goofy, and interesting... This class along with anatomy are not easy classes and you obviously have to work towards it! My personal suggestion is to become friends with your lab partners and compete with one another to see who can get the highest grade, competition helps to make things more fun and lets you achieve more!

Sandra is one amazing professor you can get lucky taking her. Summer was extra enjoyable with Zoology class with her because biology classes are not easy to get through with ease but not to worry if it's taken with Sandra. This is Anatomy. Plan on putting at least 24 hours per week to study. Sandy is not hard to follow and very approachable. Show up and put your hours in and this should get you an A. Remember, this takes A LOT of brain power. Memorization is key, if memorization comes hard for you, put in more hours or you may want to choose a different field.

Sandy is a great teacher would definitely recommend for BIO 160 & 161. She gives good examples during lectures and thinks of clever ways to remember things. Test are straight from power points which are short and straight to the point. Lab quizzes and lab exams are very easy.

Bio 161 is not an easy class & you have to put time in. Sandy makes it very interesting and easy. She explaines material starting with review to new concepts.
