It only took on eclass to realize I was in over my head. Beware.

Worst professor! She is impossible. She will not give anyone a grade above a C on anything. Do not take her! You cant even read her handwriting it is so bad. Also she is teaching us high school stuff.

When people say she is the worst teacher ever believe it! I didn't and that is why I had to drop the class half way through the semester. You will not get above a C and she never teaches- instead she will make you outline stories every day

She's vague, incompotent,and immoral. I've never met a teacher in my life whom I truly beleived hated students and didn't want them to pass. I missed a class for double funeral for 2 friends and she wouldn't exept it as an exuse

She is so unclear with assignments and does the same thing everyday. She is so critical and rude-makes class the last place youll want to be. You have been warned.

This lady is crazy!!! Never ever take any of her classes. She's mean, she talks down to all the students, and if she doesn't like what you are writing about she will mark your paper wrong. The worst teacher I have ever had in my life!

VERY UNHELPFUL AND HARD TO PUT UP WITH FOR AN HOUR

This woman was not ment to teach. She lost our tests more than once (it was our fault somehow), asked questions but never would give the anwsers if we couldnt figure them out, and even failed a kid just for speaking out. Avoid like the plauge!

Sick, subjective, extremely liberal; if this is who you want for the entry level English class you might be as crazy as she is!!! Great example of why tenure is a bad policy. This witch can not be held accountable. Grades are not based on your work!!!

I had her for BOTH sections of American Literature (Colonial - Civil War, and Civil War to 20th Century), and she was WEIRD!!! She gave us a quiz every day, and that was good 'cuz it made sure we read.

Do yourself a favor, and don't take her. she was misserable. always unhappy, told us she hates her job. she was just mean. i've never been affraid of a professor before her. do not argue with her cause you will never win..and sit in the right seat, or she will start a war.

She is not a teacher. She tries to make you feel like you know nothing, so that she feels more confident in herself. Enter her class and you enter her world, where your views are not permitted. How can you learn when you can't express what you think?

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! she does not know how to teach, shell tell you everything you did wrong but wont tell you wat you can do to make it right. she also doesnt answer your questions shell just ignore you. avoid her at all costs!

Jackson is a miserable person who hates her job ane hates her life and projects it in her teachings. She insults her students and gets a thrill from having her students fail. Avoid her at ALL costs.

Horrible wretched person, is rude to everyone, yells at people in front of entire class, won't help with papers, encourages basically everyone to drop her class (even on the first day!). Wouldn't talk to me about a badly graded paper and when I finally got her to sit with me about it it was clear she hadn't even read it!! Hope she gets fired.

mean and bitter and takes it out on the students

Gave us quizzes almost everyday. Shes a ****. Shes unhelpful and runs out of class at the end. No sympathy. I got 100% on one quiz but all she wrote was negative things on it. ALL OVER!!! I thought i got an F. That was a take home. Everything after that I and the class kept getting zeros in class. Everyone hates her.

I had her several years back and I think she's gained kind of the legendary status as worst teacher at this college, rightfully so too. I somehow walked away fine but a lot of others don't so beware

I had her class about 10 years ago. Read these posts and be forwarned - SHE IS THE SPAWN OF SATAN! She seems to hate all of her students, especially males. Yells at the class, gives wrong information, grades papers based on how little or how much she hates you. A dispicable woman. I had professors I didn't like, but she is the only one I hated.

Never take this professor, unclear in the requirements. Unfair grading, (marked some of us right on a test and some wrong when we had the same answer) and dont even try to talk to her about anything, she will insult you and belittle you; either in front of the class or in private.

absolutely the worst teacher and professor on the planet. she is insane with the grading. horrible at teaching. crazy. makes everyone feel like****. she'll read your answers for homework out loud and say why they are wrong to the whole class. will not accept late homework, for any reason, even death in a family! DO NOT TAKE HER EVER!!!

horrible teacher! never take a class taught by her! she grades unfairly, and doesn't know what she is talking about. i had a double period with her, and she would mark you absent from the class if you were even a few minutes late coming back from break. horrid woman!

This was by far the worst professor I ever had...I felt as if I learned absolutely nothing from her. She was very difficult to understand-meaning she was all over the place with her teachings and it went from one topic to another-sometimes it didn't even pertain to the class. She is not very nice either. Do not take her class. She's awful.

There was a case where she sent a student to see the dean. The dean ended up saying not to worry what she says, we cant fire her because she has ten yer (sp?) STAY AWAY!!

Terrible teacher, embarrasses students in class and refuses to help. Regardless of what you say or think, you're wrong. She'll cross out your work and not correct it, it's impossible to even get a B in her class. If given the choice to take another one of her classes or stand barefoot on broken glass for 10 minutes, I would let my feet suffer.

Honestly the word teacher I've ever had. She doesn't deserve to teach anywhere never mind college. She puts students down, doesn't answer students questions, and is one of the worst and most fake people I have ever met in my entire life.

I did well in her class and still think she is awful. She honestly enjoys watching her students fail and if you have an opinion that is different from hers it is wrong. She does not try to help students at all. You are better off studying for the midterm and final bc the extra quizzes will probably not help you. AVOID her if you can.

She is by far the worst professor I've ever had. She puts down students opinions and completely embarrasses you if your opinion is not to her liking. She deliberately misspells words on her exams. She is crazy with attendance, I stepped out to go to the bathroom for 5 minutes and got marked down as a partial absence. Avoid at all costs.

I got a C+ in that class. That's a high grade from her. Her job is to rate performance. I'm an A student in high school Eng. No correlation. She left corrections, but no explanation, & took off 1/5 of my grade on a paper because my name was on the wrong side of the paper. Also, she constantly poked at my still being in high school, singling me out.

Awful awful woman! I was so excited to take this film class and I ended up dropping the class! She took a ton of point of my midterm because I spelt the german, french and italian director's last names wrong! More than half the people dropped the class, that really says something

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. I am a good student and she is the reason I didn't get a 4.0 that semester. She grades with no reason it is all based on her opinion. My English Comp. II teacher spent the first month of class basically telling me everything she taught was wrong. She is not understanding at all, you could be giving birth and not be excused

I graduated w/ my masters in English & Education, a friend needed help so I wrote all her papers, reflections and quizzes & she graded me horribly! This lady is ridiculous!
