Lesson plan is horrible disorganized. Expectations on grading scale is ambigious. The professor is very BAISED and unobjective. She has ignorant views, even once stated in class that, "we don't tax the rich enough because we hope to one day be in that position." No professor, two words in economic terms for you: "laffer curve" This class is a waste

I had her online and it was awful. She never emailed back to questions, and her tests were impossible unless you read every word in the 450 page book. Deadlines were unclear and her 'helpfulness' came after the things you needed help on were due. Look for a different teacher trust me.

I took this class online, and must agree with PP that she is unsuited to online teaching. She was not helpful, didn't respond to email (highly important in online education), her tests were difficult and based entirely on the text, which she never used for any other purpose. Her instructions for assignments were often vague. I wouldn't reccomend

I am currently in her online class and it is TERRIBLE. She does not communicate well. The semester is 2/3 over and I have only received grades for 3 assignments. She picks random things out of the book to test on and gives no study guide for her tests that can cover as much as 4 chapters so far. I recommend avoiding this class.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!! I had to drop the class because I could not keep up with the average 5 hrs of homework a week! The last test I took from her was suppossed to be on our textbook readings about immigration- instead we were impossibly quized on current economic status and politics! IF YOU TAKE HER CLASS YOU WILL BE SORRY! just a warning

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! I was looking forward to this class before, but this teacher is useless and a HUGE procrastinator!! She takes her time returning tests. She does not assign homework for the first four weeks and then makes you do all these assignments in the end! SHE IS THE WORST TEACHER EVER!! You will be sorry if you take her class.

She is the worst teacher i've ever had. She is never straight on when projects or cultural event papers are due. She jumps back and forth in between classes on different topics and we never stay on one thing. The class Dialouges in American Culture is really useless, I don't learn anything in that class with her as my teacher. I don't recommend her

This is the worst experience I have ever had. She is extremely vague with assignments and NEVER answers emails or returns calls. She is extremely late grading assignments and thus one never knows where they stand grade wise. She is very opinionated and talks about many things that have nothing to do with immigration simply because she can.

I, too, am in the middle of her OL class (Soc. 20 African American Culture + Experience.) I am beyond frustrated. She doesn't e-mail back and she's unclear with her assignments. Her schedule just doesn't jive. How so? This week, we're doing Chapter 10/11. Next week, we have an exam on chapters 13-18. We haven't even covered these chapters. Say no.

don't take her online class. absolutely horrid. i'm sure she's just "teaching" to get a paycheck. and her tests? not bad for most. but then there's parts where nothing is in the book. if you have a 50 question test, and 5-7 questions aren't in the reading, then you're down a grade. you've been warned.

she has yet to grade passed week 7 and the semester is over..How are we to know our grades in this class if 1. we can't get a hold of the teacher to ask 2. she's not grading her students as we go along. I feel that it should be mandatory that a teacher keeps up with her class, I feel like she just sets the curriculum and doesnt follow the class...

Her lectures have nothing to do with tests. Tests completely from the book. Avoid her classes at all costs.

She is easily confused, and gets classes mixed up. She forgot to tell my class about an extra credit opportunity. She did not make all of the cultural events worth the same amount of points, which was odd. Also, she skipped on a whole bunch of points on my final grade. All in all, she's not a good teacher.. She's aweful, and boring.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! The worst professor I have met. She can be a sweet lady, but she has no idea what she is doing. When she makes mistakes she will "forget." The material had little to nothing to do with the class, & YOU WILL NEVER GET A HOLD OF THIS TEACHER. I didn't listen to past students b4, but don't take this class! It is not worth it.

I ended up dropping this class because I could not get a response from her for the first week and the workload expectations are unreal. Yes, it was a summer class, this is my third summer semester. I enjoy hard work and like to be challenged, this was by far unbelievable. I also wish another prof could teach this class.

The whole assignment process was completely unorganized, unclear, and unhelpful. Her expectations are made unclear and the assignments are inconsistent. I tried communicating with her to help with my tests, but she expected us to read the 3chpts twice. DO not take her class. The subject is interesting, but its not worth the stress.

Her tests are constantly wrong. I had to email her several times for corrections and some were never made, I barely got an A. Her assignments are busy work and she is terrible at communicating with students. She does not grade assignments until the end of the semester so hard to know where you stand. Avoid this class.

Worst teacher ever ! At one point I had 17 assignments that had not been graded. She never returns emails. Tests are confusing and hard to understand. I skimmed by with a C and I am a A-B student. Avoid this teacher !

She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had, she is unclear & unhelpful last minute sprang 7 papers w/3 separate 3hr events to see &write on. I didn't mind the papers but less then a month before the semesters over, missed her writing quota!? She changed her information daily and never finished what she started. Do not take this teacher!!!

AVOID THIS CLASS AT ALL COST!the semester is over in three weeks and she has yet to post any grades!class notes have absolutely nothing to do with what's on the test and not to mention the test are extremely hard!

Nice teacher who is very education on the subject, but she is very unorganized, very unclear of her expectations and directions, ALWAYS 15 MINUTES LATE TO CLASS!!!!! or just doesn't show up. Heavy work load put on us at the last minute. DON'T BUY THE BOOK, YOU'LL NEVER USE IT! Don't even bother emailing she never responds. Just avoid this professor

Utterly infuriating. Over a month into the class, she finally posted the assignments that we had been clamoring for, only to find that we had all failed the first 3 out of 9. Midterm involved watching some indie movie at a shady theater, car was broken into while I was there. Completely disorganized. Extreme SJW leanings. Avoid at all costs.

Rarely teaches anything that will be part of your actual grade. Never teaches directly, just shows movie clips all day, no discussion afterwards.. Springs massive workload on you last second. Avoid at all costs, not worth the stress.

The teacher just rambles on and on about what ever is going in media. she never teaches out of the book or can never complete a lecture. all of the test are online and questions straight from the book, that were never discussed in class. most of you grade is weighted on the the final group project. this class is all based on the professors opinion.

What a joke this was. Class was all out of date youtube clips, grades were not entered until literally the last second, class ran out of time for final presentations, the list goes on. Worst "professor" I have EVER seen. Has no idea what she is talking about, forgets everything, never discusses anything. An absolute joke. Avoid at all costs.

Worst class ever taken. Teaches off subject and never lectures what's in the book. Most of the time I was confused. Never grades anything!!!! The work in the syllabus isn't the work she assigns. Doesn't check her emails. Late everyday to her own class, sometimes we'd leave because we thought she wasn't going to show up.

Awful professor. Do not take her class. She ALWAYS showed up late to class (5-15 minutes late). She never graded anything on time. During lectures she got so off topic and would go over 2-3 slides in an hour and a half period. She did not teach my class what was on the final. Honestly, the book helped me more than Sandra. Assigns 5 response questions per week for only 5 or 10 points, but the assignments themselves take hours to complete. All that work to do for only 5 points really frustrated me, so I was less inclined to try my hardest. VERY bad at responding to emails, which made this online class impossible. Slow at grading, lots of typos and unclear instructions

This professor may be a good one while taking the class in person, but online she is TERRIBLE! Very unorganized, very vague, it's like she doesn't know what she is doing. We have multiple discussions open in my class on any other ways to reach her because she doesn't respond to any emails. She has absolutely no interaction with our class.

This teacher is vey unorganized. She DOES NOT respond to emails . No interaction with class. Even forgets to put submittion button on assignments , so we are left with emailing her assignments only to get zeros because she doesnt check her email. She grades extremely late . And will not answer concerns about grades and is not clear on assignments.

She was late everyday by at least 15 min, gave vague directions, if it wasnt her way or her opionion the answer is always wrong, the final was 10 questions and 100 points and I had an A in the class, but scored 6/10 and dropped to a B. I dont recommend this class. She said she would give extra credit for being late but 5 points does nothing.

Dont take this teacher unless youre a liberal. She teaches her opinion as if its fact and talks in circles. She also talks over the students that she doesnt agree with. Aside from that, she doesnt give out a syllabus and isnt clear on what she expects or how she grades. I took this class because its easy, but its not worth it to me.

She never stays on topic and if you disagree with anything she says she will question you about it all class and not get anything done. Also, She basically says why everyone else is racist and that we should go against society. Dont state your opinion. This class is all opinions even though she claims her lectures are all facts.

She's nice, but she never stays on topic, everyone is secretly racist to her, and she has a two part take home mid term (which is watching videos for literally over 2 hours and writing two papers), an in class midterm, and a home made movie as the final all due within two weeks of each other. Not organized, doesn't read emails, not approachable

While I agree with most of Sandra's viewpoints as they are pretty morally justified, she believes that these moral justifications behind her viewpoints allows her to prescribe them as facts to the class. Fringe opinions such as paying reparations to all black citizens were supported as 'correct,' for their social merit rather than practicality.

Doesn't go over any criteria that is for homework. Doesn't teach anything that is worth learning. She is very opinionated and believes she is always right. If you dare state your opinion she will keep questioning you why? WhY? WHYY? Presses students into corner and makes you feel dumb. Lots of online reading and homework not relating to class.

Very disorganized, she does not post the instructions on the actual assignment. She is really hard to contact through email and other sorts of communication. I highly recommend to not take her class. I had to wait 45 mins for the actual lecture to start because she wouldnt stop talking about an unrelated topic with the students. Not worth it at all

She grades you not based on the quality of your work but how much you agree with her. I took her class for fun because I have finished college a long time ago. I got a law degree from UC Berkeley and had been practicing for over 20 years. She loves to pretend that she knows more than I do and constantly thinks that she is teaching law. Amazing.

I took this class thinking I was going to enjoy it, even though some of the material is really interesting every week is the same thing: watching hours and hours of videos to later do a discussion stating what you've learned and getting a mediocre grade because it's never "detailed enough".
