She's really funny. Some people don't like her but it's probably because they didn't go to class or are a jock. Actually teaches.

I think she's great. Have a sense of humor and dont screw off and you'll be fine. She doesnt hate guys unless you are a screw off

Don't assume anything with her, Get your work done when she says to have it done, attend classes as scheduled and don't take her for granted. For pete sakes, she is there for a reason. If students would follow through with why they are there, they wouldn't have a problem. Great professor.

She is a great teacher: she expects you to do your part, as she will present the material clearly, ask for questions, then expect you to do your homework with being babysat through it all. She helps individually in her office and after class. She will not put up with rude comments, laziness, or half-hearted efforts. After all, this is college!!

She is a good, helpful teacher. Some students don't like it because she expects everybody to listen and work hard. It's not her fault they don't grow up and work a little bit.

Great instructor that knows her stuff. I think she has gotten the wrong shake. Friendly with both GUYS and gals. Perhaps comes off a little impatient at times, but very knowledgable. Expects you to do your work...slackers beware! Treats you like an adult..expects honesty, work and adult behavior and responsibility. Highly recommend!

Great class; I easily and quickly got my English classes completed this summer in a painless and fun environment. Ms. Muegge tells you what she expects then sticks to it. I learned a great deal about writing even in the condensed summer sessions.

Excellent teacher. Follow her directions, ask questions when you don't get it, and attend class and you've got it made. I came to this class dreading English and writing, but she made it easy and well worth while. Writing for my other classes is now VERY easy as a result of her instruction.

I think she is an excellent teacher. Yea she can be kind of scary and intense sometimes but what professor doesn't. Besides she always makes class something to look forward to because you always want to see what she's going to do next. People who don't like her are most likely those who slacked off thinking it was going to be high school english.

She is very helpful. I came into class knowing little about writing now I know a great deal. If you are a slacker or, are not prepared she will be on your case. Respect her and she will respect you back.

Had a great summer class; I learned a great deal that prepared me for English 121. I even know how to use a semicolon, I think.

I had a great time in this class; the assignments were more fun than the regular, boring English stuff we usually get. She comes to class upbeat and ready to get the work done. Before I started this class, a counselor told me not to take it from her because she is mean. Not so. She's helpful and kind.

Her class was fun everyday; her method of rewriting papers until they are perfect is exhausting but effective. Having completed her class with a "B", I am now prepared for all my college writing.

Professor Muegge is very specific. She is very helpful, if you let her be helpful.She is one of the best English professors I have ever had. Learn what writing style suits you best and write in that form. Always show up for class, let her know when you will be absent, always participate while in class, ask meaningful relevant questions.Talk to her.

Pretty easy class as long as you write along the guidelines she gives (eg. if she wants 3 examples, be sure to have 3). She can be a bit harsh if you're screwing around, but otherwise she's rather fun for the most part and even jokes around a little.

Great teacher. Lots of fun while actually learning. Yes, I said "FUN." Regardless of what you hear or even what your advisor may say, she is a great teacher who teaches in a fun atmosphere.

Sandra Muegge is specific when it comes to grading. There is nothing funny about a college student coming out of a composition class with false confidence in writing. I was fearful of my first online class, especially with it being composition; but she made it a true learning experience that I recommend to all my peers.

Muegge is a very thorough professor. The class was a lot of work however instructions were always very clear Muegge always let us look ahead so we know how much work was coming up. If there were ever any questions she would respond promptly. The class definitely wasn't easy (I took both her comp classes online) however her clear instructions helped

If you want to learn, take a class from Muegge. If you want to play and socialize, take a class from Gruis or Hansen or Martina. If you want to be confused, take a course from Benson. Muegge teaches.
