Great professor. Smart and easy. Love her.
Very clear and concerned about the students. Had a great time studying for her class.
She's great. Explains well and helps you out if you need help. She wants nothing but best for students. I would take her again in a heartbeat. Great and smart professor!!!
Great teacher explains clearly in detail, gives a lot of study material on BB, test are very similiar to review & an easy grader
She is one of great professor at Baruch College
awesome professor two thumbs up!! She knows her stuff and she uses good teaching aids if you take good notes and do the home-work you'll get an A.
Mullings rocks!! she is super nice.
She is very boring. You have to have a perfectly detailed answers on the test in order to get an A or B+, take off a lot of points if you leave out minor details. I would not take her again if I had to. She also wrote the book. Hard and Boring.
three cheers for Mullings!!!
Boring, Boring, Boring. Take it with Andersen or Barett.
she is a ****, dont take her, she assumed i was cheated in her class even though i wasnt and than she report it to the dean and gave me an F after the second week of class.
V.E.R.Y......B.O.R.I.N.G
she is bad professor dont take her
Very helpful and clear on explaining
Here's some food for thought: she edited the text for this class. She's the only one who can explain it best. Yes, she's a little boring, but she really knows her stuff!
worst professor dont take her
bad professor dont take her ,there is better then her
she very bad professor, dont take her, she worst
She is a good professor, knows what she is talking about, but the only problem is that she will take off points for just one word missing, if u dont right exactly what you are supposed to. take someone else if you have a choice
Easy A. She goes over all the problems, puts up pp slides and emphasizes what you need to know for test. By the time test comes along, u'll know exactly what to write. Just read her slides and listen to her answer to the problems. Not 2 time consuming!
Very clear in explaining concepts. Emphasize what you'll need for exams. Exams are easy, and problems in exams are just similar to problems discussed in class. Helpful when you have questions, and fast responses to question from emails.
She is one of the worst professors i had. She actually tortures her students.I still get night mares from time to time, her exams have nothing to do with class notes or what she teaches in class and she assigns everyones seats. i Got D She kill my GPA.
very good preofessor. The class may get a little boring but you will learn. the exams were just as she said they would be. Listen to her and you should be ok.
the worst professor
Very good class!!! AWESOME NOTES (you may not even have to read the book if you come to class & pay CLOSE attention)DO HW PROBLEMS!!!The exam is like the problems in the back of each chapter. She requires VERY detailed explanations on exams, but if you follow her in class & do the hw, you'll be fine
worst professor
very good professor, explains everything clearly in class. Exams are not hard but have to do the problems assigned on the back of the if want a good grade. She is very nice!!!
a good class to take will learn (she is very complete in her teaching method). but you must learn the terms. Great use of blackboard as assignments are posted and she goes over homework and tests in class. A GREAT EXPERIENCE
A fantastic teacher, witty, and very intelligent. Learned a lot, she makes good notes and great use of blackboard. She is a little picky on grading, but its a LAW class. Using the correct language is an integral part of anything with Law, so get over it.
take someone else if possible
I took her twice and loved her! She is amazing as a professor and someone to go to for help. She explains really well. Although she is tough on grading, but as someone said, it is a law class afterall. Don't listen to those telling you not to take her. You can't NOT study and expect and A!
Very effective with material, great w/ notes & teaching techniques, but a grading Nazi. Takes lots of points off the grade for one wrong word! Standards are extremely high! She knows how to teach but definitely doesn’t know how to grade. Would not recommend her if you want to keep your GPA high.
Took her on fall 2004, got an A. an great professor. 4 hand-in questions, 2 midterms and department final. Her notes are super clear. She gave student sample answers before each midterms and final. The sample questions are almost the same with midterms. Take her and study her notes, you 'll get an A
very good teacher. explains very nice everything, but very detailed. u have to study all the terms to get a good grade! good teacher, but bad grader!
She is an intelligent professor. The note are very clear. MUST DO ALL THE PROBLEMS SHE ASSIGNED. If you don't know how to do the problems, you will not get a good grade on the exam. She will go over the problems.
dont take her she is worst professor in the college
very clear notes..very helpful..easy A
very good professor, explains things very well, take her if you want to learn and still get a good grade
I would most definitely take her class again because she is one of those professors who makes you feel as if you are actually in college. Her notes are clear and to the point. She gives you a lot of practice for her midterms and final. It is obvious she will expect you to use the terms because how does she prepare you for the real world??? Take her
Took her twice and loved her. She is amazing. Not only is she a great professor, but she is also a very nice individual. She is always helpful and readily available after class. She is a great advisor as well. One of best professors at Baruch.
Best law professor. Very organized, detailed lecture notes and clear explainations. Very fair in grading. The exams are easy because she does her job well. If you go to class and listen to her lecture, do some problems and read the text book, you will get an A.
She is a very nice prof. Her notes are very clear and helpful. Would like to have professors like her for most of my other classes. makes the subject very interesting is she is very helpful. Take her, do you work and you will not regret it.
She is very clear in her lectures. Her notes are very helpful. she also cares about her students. one of the best teachers at Baruch.
wow. one of the best classes i've ever taken. she's such a great professor, she has such a great attitude, and she really knows what she's talking about. I really miss her class, she's a good teacher. She is polite, clear, responsible, knowledgeable, and everything else. She's very funny. She expects you to truly know the material.
Stronly recommend her. Very polite and knows how to get the topics across. I took the class in the summer and it was great. Very good at communicating the main points. Great professor!
she does her job well. professor Mullings does a great job explaining all the material, and answering any questions you may have. She is more then accomodating and willing to help students, and starts each class w/a smile which is a nice change from so of the other professors.
Very well prepared prof. Makes things super clear. She's willing to listen and compromise with students. She is a prof that truly enjoys her job and is always ready to help students. I hate this subject but she made it bearable b/c she was such a good prof. She knows her stuff and prepares you so that it will be easy to pass exams and her class.
Very helpful professor, very enthusiastic and funny. She really cares about teaching the students and helping them understand law. There are a few short papers, as well as hw, a midterm and a final. Also her powerpoints are extremely helpful. You have to work for an A but it is not that difficult.
Are you kidding?! What a bunch of lies. This is a very hard professor. She thinks we are all going to do law for eternity. Exams are ok, but she take of A LOT of points for a simple mistake (10% on average for a minor mistake) You will get 70s-80s for an exam you thought you aced! I would take someone else. This is another read the book class!
One of the best professors I ever had. Her notes are superclear and with just a little bit of studying it is really easy to get in the 90's on her exams. I wish she could teach accounting lol
GRADING NUTZY! EXTREMELY HARD & SOMETIMES UNFAIL GRADER. SLASHES POINTS OFF 4 LEGAL TERMS MISSPELINGS. NUTS!! MENTALLY SHE'S STUCK IN LAW SCHOOL & EXPECTS STUDENTS 2 BEHAVE AS LAW STUDENTS. THERE IS AN EASIER WAY 2 LEARN!! don't recommend her!! EXAMS R HARD! SHE'S PREPARED & KNOWLEDGEBLE BUT HER UNFAIL GRADING LEAVES DESIRE TO DROP THE CLASS! HARD!
No she does not take pts off for spelling, she knows theres a spell cheacker on the computer for a reason. Never used the book, it bores me. Just read her PP and do all the examples on BB and you will be fine. shes pretty cool and will explain until u understand.
Her lectures are boring - just read your textbook! Her example questions and answers are usefull though..
Interesting class. Do the HW!!! the powerpoints and the problems she posts on blackboard are extremely helpful! One quiz, 2 midterms(25% each) and a departmental cumulative final(40%). Do all the reading and STUDY!! I recommend this prof, really nice but has an extremely advance vocabulary
very caring professor. use the notes, problems, excerices, etc... that she puts on blackboard because they are very helpful. i didn't really read the text, but instead used blackboard, and i was able to get an A- on the class. take her as your law prof., you won't regret it.
best prof for law. her pp nots and sample answers are really helpfull. she goes over the problem couple of times and makes sure that the students understand.her high law term vocabullary seems hard at the beging but once u get used to it,its ok. HIGHLY recomend her. u would really learn in her class and also get good grades if u put effort.
One word - AMAZING! She is hands down the best law professor at Baruch - I highly recommend her =)
Seriously, do not take this professor!!!! When you did very well and get very good grade in the exams, do not smile for it! When you see your final grade, you will get crazy!!! She will not give the fair grade to the students?the one who took her class, be careful~~~
Professor Mullings is great! She's smart, cheerful and so knowlegeable! Our class had only 17 people, so we were able to cover a lot of material. She made employment law really interesting. Not a hard grader at all, just a midterm, some short homeworks, an opinion paper and final. I got an A. Definitely recommended!
I actually really enjoyed this class. She was a great professor! Everything was clear and the midterm and finals are a breeze if you do everything she ask!
She's an extraordinary professor! She's like a mother..."You guys should be doing your reading!" Easy exams...just review and study for them. I speak very highly of her.
This is the second time I take her, law 1101 was so great that I am doing a business law minor. two midterms 30% each, final is worth 35%, remaining 5% homework assigned. READ the book and powerpoints, pay attention to the problems done in class! Got an A- for 1101, probably same this time too
great teacher, goes over practice problems before the exam, which is very helpful.
She is the best professor in Baruch. Highly recommend to take her class.
she's a great professor, her lectures are interesting and the way she explains everything makes it very easy. definitely recommend.
Well-designed course in which outlines, study guides, and practice questions are posted for students to gauge their understanding. In-class "clicking" exercises allows all students to participate. When lecturing, she offers detailed explanations entailing how the law is applied. Exams cover the applications of law that were consistenly emphasized.
Amazing! She gives practice problems before the test so you can review them and they are SUPER helpful! I'm so glad I took her! I was very intimidated at first because she went to Yale law school and I thought the class would be tough but it's not that hard. Just pay attention and do the practice problems and you'll be more than fine!
You don't need to study from the textbook. Just memorize the format on how to answer certain problems and you're set to get an A. She posts up tons of sample problems. Study from that and you should get an A.
I LOVE HER! She genuinely cares for her students and wants to see them do well! Her sample prob/ans are extremely helpful since they really help you understand the material. The book is confusing but its not that necessary if you pay attention in class and look at the sample prob/answers. She's extremely helpful and responds to emails quick!!
The best law professor. I felt so lucky to be in her class after hearing complaints about other classes with different profs. She explains everything down to a T, and has a very respectful and friendly manner towards students. Great sense of humor. She made me love law, and with the tons of examples made it easy to prepare for the finals.
Great and helpful professor! She gives sample answers, which come in handy for exams. I thought this class was going to be very boring, but she kept me up.
Excellent professor. Speaks with a friendly, respectful tone. Funny but also very professional. Course was designed extremely well, eases students into the more complex topics with confidence.
Great Prof! Goes over everything so you understand everything. Very sweet lady, and goes as far as she can to help you. Do all the extra credit, it will help in the end. Book is not necessary, only to do the problems. If you can do them, you will get good grade on exams.
She is great. The textbook was used for the problems. There are tow midterms and one final. All questions are problem based, no mc. Make sure you attend the class the day before the exams. She goes over all practice Q's. She is very helpful, and makes law interesting. Got an A. There is also a lot of extra credit opportunities.
She is a sweetheart. Attend the class and you will learn a lot. Exams are based on assignments and class lecture. She makes law fun! Got an A! Take her !
She's so sweet. Lectures can be slightly boring but that's just the topic. She tries to make the class interesting, & she gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. 2 Midterms & dept. final are pretty straightforward. Buy the book & do the problems she assigns (tests are similar). If you put in a decent amount of effort, you'll get an A.
She is the BEST! Most of the topics that we covered were hard, but if you really paid attention in class and did your assignments, you'll do great! She makes everything like 1+1!
She is an awesome professor. She make you wanna learn and make law interesting. She makes law 1101 well organized and clear to follow up. I would recommend her to everyone who feel that law is hard. It could be interesting and has no minimum confusion if you take her.
I am lucky to be in her class. Law is hard but she makes it easy to understand. She gives different problems for you to practice and she always posts answer keys on Blackboard which helped me a lot. You should take her class! Thanks professor Mullings. It was a pleasure being one of your students.
great professor. its a annoying and boring subject with lots of terms to memorize but she does a great job giving over the material and is always very fair. great class.
Great professor! Easy tests, engaging and great lecturer. It was really great to have her as a professor and I would take her again and again. I cannot recommend her highly enough, you learn a lot and its easy, what more can you want.
WONDERFUL PROFESSOR! IT WAS A PLEASURE TO TAKE THIS CLASS. VERY CLEAR AND EXPERIENCED. DO THE READINGS AND PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Very nice professor! shes patient, passionate and gives you real life examples that happened to her. Highly recommend her bc she will spark your interest in law. her grading is also fair.
Prof Mullings is one of the best at Baruch! Her class was pretty easy as long as you study and do the assignments which weren't hard at all, she is very knowledgeable and answers any questions you may have. Definitely recommend her!
Great professor. She explained things very well, and her tests are exactly like the department final for this class. Very funny and sociable. Honestly, this is one of the best classes, I've taken in Baruch.
Professor Mullings is a great professor and person overall to the point where i felt bad if i wasn't keeping up with the work. I personally am interested in law but all in all, the class was interesting and for an upper law class, not much work was required and she covered most of the information in class if you paid close attention as you should
pro. Mullings is a really nice person. Well prepared for her lectures, a lot of notes and cases, graded generously. Do understand the sample problems she gives before mid-term and final and you will find it is REALLY easy to get an A!
You'll learn a lot from Prof. Mullings. Not the easiest grader around but still a very enjoyable class.
Her lectures are clear and helpful. Listen to every class carefully, do assigned homework, and review the textbook after class -- then you would definitely get A for this.
Very organized and very clear on her teachings. Amazing teacher. A little bit on the lenient side in terms of grading but she gives good feedback and is there if you need help.
Very interesting class but there's a ton of work. Lots of readings, and lots of information to memorize. It's a hard subject. Two midterms, one final, and some group assignments. Professor was really nice though and helpful. She gave a lot of resources.
Hard class, LOTS of homework.
The best professor. If you work hard, you get what you are worth. Review sample to get the best grade.
