Answers all questions quickly, willing to work around your grade if you accidentally miss an assignment. 50% of grade are weekly quizzes (one dropped), 20% final, the rest is HW and participation. There is HW online and optional HW out of the book. Do both since she teaches through the HW. Amazing prof, cares for her students. Dont skip class

She is AWFUL. 2 hour class & she kept us no longer than 40 min every Monday and Wednesday. Doesn't lecture & expects everyone to understand after going over 1 example. Quizzes do not reflect the material given. Always states that she doesn't care how you get the answer, as long as it's right & will still mark you wrong if you don't do it her way.

The class is a hard class but Sandra is very nice and cares about her students. She is a hard teacher but very helpful if you ask her.

People putting in minimal effort would probably say Pelfrey is the reason they didn't do well. No, Pelfrey is outstanding. She is very clear and is more than willing to go over something as much as needed for it to be understood. She really wants people to understand. She's a tough lady, but really caring. I love accounting after taking her class.

She really is a great professor, she will go over everything you need to use in class. If you are struggling in her class you need to try harder. She will consistently wait for questions from anyone in the class and will not move on until you understand. Weekly quizzes account for a large portion of your grade but they are almost direct from the HW

I took Professor Pelfrey for ACC 2000 and 2100. Accounting can be challenging, however, Professor Pelfrey was always willing to answer questions or go over topics again. She really wanted students to do well. Her lecture were always very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend taking this professor!

AWFUL. She is the worst professor I've had at OU. She "lectures" for about half of the class time and usually lets everyone out at least 2 hours early. She doesn't know how to answer a simple question and when you go to her office hours for help, she will mislead you with what to expect on the weekly quiz. If you take her, expect to teach yourself.

Professor Pelfrey is a very nice woman who really cares about her students. However, she is not a very good professor. Her lectures are all over the place, oftentimes even she often forgets what she was talking about. This makes understanding her lectures very difficult. The class as a whole was very unorganized.

I just dont get the bad reviews. Prof Pelfrey is a pretty good professor. The class is well structured and shes very knowledgeable. Honestly, I never even attended a lecture and I still found the class the be easy. The only aggrevating part was the small project which had arbitrary grading and just dumb expectations .
