She is an adorable professor! She makes things easiest for us, which is really helpful towards incoming freshmans to adjust from the high school to college transition. I got her for Education 1300 and the class was quite fun due to the interactive activities that we do. Our class was comprised of, quizzes, power points, and group activities. Yay!

Prof. Van Alstine truly deserves more credit! She is the kindest teacher I've ever met and makes me excited for my future! She gives the perfect amount of work and really prepares you for the rest of your college life. She gives wonderful advice and her lectures are a joy!

I love her and i would totally take her class again. She's the most caring and understanding professor ever. She helps you with anything, and gives extra credit. Always listens to what you have to say. Quizzes are easy and use the book, and projects are group or individual. EASY class!!

She was amazing! I took her this fall semester and I had absolutely no problem! Shes very down to earth and if you ever cant get to class on time or have to miss a day she will definitely understand. Attendance is for a grade but you can get away with missing 2 Days its up to you honestly. All the assignments were very effortless less!!

Such a nice teacher! The work that we did in class was very understanding. The lectures would be about the chapters in the book, and it would help us remember the chapters for any test or quiz. I definitely recommend this prof she's amazing!

As a veteran, I've dealt with my share of annoying/foolish people and instructors who pretend to know what they are talking about and dont care. Mrs. Van Alstine is different. She actually gives a damn about her students and works hard to make everyone pass. She will be honest with you and help you grow. Take her, you won't regret it.. I promise.

The class itself is stupid, so the fact that I enjoyed going to it should say something about Professor V. Shes very kind and wants us to succeed. Just be careful if youre taking EDUC 1300 not to blow it off because she takes it as a personal slight, and shes the sweetest thing so you definitely dont wanna upset her.

As long as a student makes an effort and turns in the work on time, then this class will be a breeze.

I took her class online when every person I spoke to told me not to take this class online. It was so easy and understandable. She replied to my emails quick and the assignments were not difficult at all. She seriously wants to teach her students about all the resources available for us. Shes great.

You definitely will like this class especially professor Van Alstine. She truly cares for her students and wants you to enjoy her class. A couple of presentations throughout the semester and it really gets you connected with your classmates especially if you have a smaller class. Even though it was a required course it turned out to be my favorite.

Professor V, is without a doubt one of the most open-minded educators I've ever had. She doesn't say you can't achieve something even if you put your mind to it. Instead, the sky is the limit in her eyes. In terms of my class, it was quite easy, however you must still work for your grade. This class isn't super easy or hard, so just take it!

First semester at Lonestar and Professor V was amazing! She is so caring and sweet, this was a 6-week class, so yes it was more work, but not hard. You can go without using the book. I got to plan out my career path with this class, it helped me a lot! Definitely take her, you will not regret it! :))

Prof V is amazing and super fun to take! She sets out clear instructions each week and responds quickly to emails. She really cares about her students and their success. Considering it was a four week course, the workload was understandable. One discussion board and two to three easy assignments each week. Definitely recommend taking her!

She is definitely one of the more caring professors I have had. Whenever confused with an assignment, she was always more than happy to help clarify any confusion or miscommunications. The course and the assignments she gives out are fairly easy. I would definitely have her as a professor again, if given the chance!

I take EDUC 1300 class online. She is a good teacher, interested in her students. When I have questions about her homework, she is always available to answer my questions. Her class does not have too much homework and was easy. I highly recommend taking her class especially in the first year of college.

The easiest class ever, you can finish it in one day and pass with an A. You don't really need the book, and if you're going to take the class with a friend, you can split the book cost up. 10/10 would recommend.
