This is my first year in school in a long time so coming back during a pandemic was really scary. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to have Mrs. V as my first professor at Lone-star. She definitely made me feel more secure about taking online classes and made me feel welcome to the school environment. She is a very caring professor.

She cares about her students and answers questions/emails. Easy homework and doesn't give much homework ( gives a lot of extra credit). Everything is due Sunday at 11:30 p.m, so you have all week to-do 1 or 2 assignments. Professor Van cares that you learn about LSC resources and your path to the career you want.

I loved Professor V's class. It was such a nice course to take, and she should definitely be your top choice when applying for your EDUC classes! She is also a very understanding professor and is extremely kind. She is open to helping you whenever you need, but the assignments are overall very easy to understand and do.

Shes understanding. If she could be my professor for all my classes I would choose her to be that position.

Professor Van Alstine has been amazing at being the ideal teacher! She's understanding, easy, and approachable. She gives a reasonable amount of work, is always giving the sweetest feedback/comments, and always lends a helping hand when asked. Overall, she made my first semester of college less stressful :)

Professor Van Alstine was the best EDUC professor I could personally take since she was always available when I had questions and responded faster than all my other professors. I strongly recommend her as she was very understanding and had empathy for her students.

Prof .Van Alstine provided us with informational assignments where we were able to discover ourselves as students and use efficient mechanism to be productive. You will not regret taking her class.

I took her online and she really is the best teacher I've had this semester. She makes everything really easy and even posts videos in case you need a better understanding of the assignment. She's very helpful and understanding, and I would recommend her 100% a solid 21/10.

Professor Van Alstine is truly a gem. She's so nice and actually cares about you. She's easy to talk to and truly wants you to succeed. I took her online class due to Covid-19 and I'm happy I selected her. She also gives extra credit so use it to your advantage!!!

Professor V was great! I would love to take a class from her again. If you don't understand something, she is HAPPY to explain to it to you. I love her videos that prepped us for the up coming assignment for the week. The class was fairly easy, as long as you do the work. Professor V is very understanding as well as encouraging!

Professor Van was amazing! She uploads videos each week to go over weekly assignments and explains them in a good manner. She is also very understanding of the things you have going outside of class and she is always reachable. I would love to have her as my professor again!

If I could I would rate this class with zero difficulties! The easiest A I've ever had, it might seem like a lot at first, but trust me guys if you plan it out evenly you can get it done with no stress; sometimes it's even enough to complete all in one day. She's very quick to respond to emails which is getting rarer these days.

I absolutely love the positivity and the energy that comes from this lady! All of these topics are so relevant to college success and I think I am a better student because I chose her class! Thank you Professor V!

The class work is straightforward to understand and do, and most of it is discussed in class. Attendance is not mandatory, but it is fun being in class, so I don't see why you wouldn't go if you could. Overall is an absolutely fantastic teacher and, more importantly, an amazing person. Thank you for having me in your class.

She is an amazing professor for EDUC1300. The only problem is she really doesn't like technology or people coming late. She makes sure to make a big deal when people walk in late. Other than that, she really teaches you how to become a successful college student and is a VERY easy grader. I would take her again, just come on time!

One of the most easy classes I've ever taken. Very easy grader and for an online class always responded to emails very quickly. I would 100% recommend taking this class.

Great professor, went over all the work that was needing to be done as well as guides the Sunday before the start of the week. Gave student examples for reference. Final exam was replaced with a project. Very informative class. Learned a lot about my self.

Really easy class. The homework is incredibly easy. Just show up, participate, do the homework and you'll get an A. She creates a fun environment and none of the work should take you more than an hour to complete.

Great professor, really engages with students and their success in school and throughout the semester. really helps you understand the campus and resources available and prepares you for the real world once you start working. overall was a fantastic experience and would recommend to anybody.

Pick her! She was my online professor and was one of the most caring ever! She provides instructions in many different ways to ensure everyone understands and provides feedback to better a grade in the future. If for some reason something is late or you're having trouble, just communicate with her and she will compromise. TAKE HER!

Definitely my favorite class during the semester. The professor is so easy-going and caring, you can tell she is actually interested in talking to the students. Whenever she taught, it would be interesting and the assignment we did were fun and easy to do!

Professor V was my favorite professor this semester!!! She was very social, in touch with her student's needs, and incredibly approachable with anything you wanted to discuss. I even had a few problems with other professors, and she helped me navigate to do my best in her class and college as a whole. You can tell she loves what she does!

I got a 99.5 in this class and the work is group interactive when in the classroom. You also go to the computer lab often and do work. Most of the work is in-class and if you don't finish it's like due at midnight. And don't miss attendance or till make your grade change LETTERS. Btw your table group is who you do group projects with.

Never a dull moment with Professor V! She's upbeat, explains everything clearly, and made my first semester great. Just be sure to attend every class and on time—attendance counts! She's an amazing professor and I highly recommend taking her.

Professor V is one of the sweetest most caring teachers I've had. You can tell in the way she acts that she really does care about prepping her students to succeed. You have to do short noticed group presentations pretty often in her class, they're honestly super easy but it's good to know if you're shy. 10/10 would recommend!!!

She is genuinely so great. For online class, the most you have to do is discussion post and maybe a short assignment about an article. Super simple and easy to do. She gives feedbacks and extra credit if you attend the campus events.
