She is the best at CUNY and economics; open book Quiezs and questions from her notes. (during her classes, try to write whatever she says). Also, she is very clear and expleans every thing. Next semester I'll take her another class again.

Gosh, this little woman is very easy to pass. Open notes on midterms & finals. And it's also very easy to cheat. lol. Take her, she's so easy. ps. you can pass the class but you won't learn anything important cause it doesn't stick to your mind.

She is a good professor. Her explaination is very clear. And her exams are very easy if you take notes and pay attention to what she said.

Good teacher, allows you to use notes for quizs and allows a cheat sheet for Exams. Everything she teaches in class is what is on an exam.

exellent teacher! whomever considering taking economics, I strongly encourage you to take her. she is very helpful, always allow you to ask a question and very good at meking herself clear. if you attend classes everytime, there is no way you won't get A.

Everything she puts on the board or says will defiantly be on the exam. Did not really need my text book for studying or homework studied strait from notes and did well on exams.

I took her for macro and micro econ and she was great both times. I took her online course for micro and it was actually harder than her face-to-face class. Would still highly recommend her though, especially in class. Pay attention in class and take notes and you'll do fine. You also get a 1-page cheat sheet for the mid/fin and open book tests

Inadequate time for online exams, in addition to using Aplia exams which was a bit confusing and which was not in sync with her notes. Students could have done without Aplia, at least twenty minutes longer for exams, then grading would have been a bit fairer

She is nice. I learned a lot in her class. Take notes, go to class, and study. I did not get an A in her class because I did not do the paper I was suppose to do (I don't know what to write). Still, I did fairly well in her class. You must go to class, pay attention, take notes, and ask question if have to. That way, you will do well.

She is strict but very clear and extremely professional. Her lectures are very helpfull, u don't even need to read the book, cauze she gives u everything and prepare fully for tests and exams. I got my A and I didn't work very hard for it. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher, but don't take her online course!!!

a tough teacher but yet very helpful. her lectures are great and i didn't even bother buying the book easy A need to work a bit though. the exams are all open book except the midterm and the final but you get to use a cheatsheet so is not a biggy. this people that actually keep crying are too dump.

This professor is excellent. I took her on-line microeconomy in Summer I. To my delight, I did not believe in the previous comments and did not drop this class. The professor makes the online learning very interesting and challenging. The lecture materials explain the concepts and calculations much more clearly than that in the textbook.

I took her Macroeconomics class online. It was not easy, but the work was well organized, fair, and challenging. She stuck to the syllabus so you knew all assignments and when they were due. I was unhappy with her insisting we use that stupid ?turnitin.com? website to check plagiarism because she didn?t use it properly. Counting the number of paper

I took her micro-eco. class online. Her class materials are very hard, but her lecture notes are so awesome that you rarely have to open the text book. Do all her BB assignments on time, study her notes and you'll do fine. By the way, her class is extremely well organized and clearly structured. I wish all online classes were like hers.

I took her macro class online and although I got a C-, I must say she is pretty fair when grading. It is an easy course to pass but not an easy A. Prof. Bishop is very organized, she followed the syllabus , so there were no surprises.The text book was not necessary as her lectures were clear and informative.

She is extremely helpful, though she has lots of work to do, she takes time after class to explain you concepts you didn't understand during class. Material is not easy, but that is not prof's fault. She is very nice. Got an a A- and to be honest I didn't try that hard, and had to be absent a couple of times.

This lady is phenomenal. She responds to e-mails quickly, answers questions, does review sessions, and nothing is a surprise when it comes to her. 3 quizzes, 1 midterm, and a final. Don't really need the text book 'cause her notes are pretty straight-forward. I would take her all over again if I could. Her sarcasm keeps the class awake, btw.

I took her class online and very glad I did. She is very organized and her instructions are very clear. I was using a book just a few times as her notes were very helpful and all you need to study. Her study guide before each quiz PRICELESS! Follow her instructions, be active participant on a BB (read lecture before you post) and you'll be fine.

Professor is very good she follows the syllabus and all her work is thorough and precise. If you follow everything she give you you will be okay

I took an online class with prof Bishop and it was a great experience. The subject wasn't easy, but if you study and read her lecture notes, you will be ok. We had 3 quizzes and a research paper. Plus you have to participate in the discussions a few times a week. The prof was very helpful if you had any questions. I would recommend taking her class

I strongly recommend her class!!! Prof Bishop is very intelligent and helpful if you do not understand. She is available outside of class and replies fast if you ask question by email. Her explanation is very clear and gives exams from her lecture. Exams are difficult (3 quizzes, midterm and final) if you do not prepare. You can learn a lot!

I took her online class & it worked because she follows the syllabus precisely & gives weekly lecture notes. She answers all emails & will meet with you if you're having problems with the equations to explain the break. She's tough on grading so do all assignments & exams & learn APA format read textbook & lectures notes weekly you'll learn a lot.

Sticks to the course syllabus and is a bit hard grading, but if you work hard and submit your assignments on time, you will have an A. Like others have said, learn APA and make sure you understand all of her instructions, because if you don't you'll surely lose points.

I finished taking an online course on Microeconomics. Professor Bishop is very knowledgeable in her field. She will critique you and give you excellent feedback. So don's BS. She follows the syllabus and her grading to the T. Pretty much do the work, participate on the discussion boards, & read the material. She is fair and I highly recommend her.

Easy A. The 3 quizzes have no time limit so google the MC answers. She even drops the lowest quiz grade. The projects are graded easily too, the midterm and final are 2 hours each so have all your notes out and you're good. Even has xtra credit for 3% boost to final average . Had an A before the extra credit was applied. Gives Good feedback too.

I am taking this professor now for the summer semester(2018). She seems to be very smart. She gives very clear answers and replies any emails very fast. I only wish if was a regular class so I could get to know her better. For those who wants to learn and challenge themself, take this amazing Professor. I wish BMCC have more Professors like her.

Took the online course of her class. Participate in the forum posts weekly and you will get your 10 in participation all the time. Don't be lazy and write a couple of sentences, try to make it a 200-300 word response per question. Also don't forget her follow up questions. Quizzes are a bit difficult, but practice problems help a lot. Work for it.

I feel that an online class should allow you to be a little bit late on your posts; however, don't be or you will get a poor grade. Participation is very important. 4 Quizzes, lowest grade dropped. I mostly learned on my own but Prof was available to answer my emails if needed. The content was not hard overall.

If you do the work, this class is very easy. I took it online, and all you had to do was weekly participation on discussion board on BB, and 4 tests. The professor drops the lowest participation and quiz grade. The professor answers email quickly at any time, and gives good feedback. Would recommend.

Prof. Bishop seems very strick, which she is, but if you do your job and PARTICIPATE you can pass the class. She will drop the lowest quiz and lowest participation grade which is very good. All the answers for the quizzes you can find on chegg,com and on Quizlet.

This is a difficult course. It is extremely writing-intensive in APA. You will do a group project on a selected firm. She is tough with grammar and correct formatting. The math can be difficult to understand and I wish it were clearer at times. Midterm and finals are difficult, but study hard! Discussion boards are mandatory and helpful.

No quizzes and no tests! Just videos, and LOTS of writing and reading. You can be as passionate as you want in discussion boards, she just wants to see you are learning. Group writing project in APA, she's strict with grammar and formatting. Attend her weekly meetings and be open-minded. She's a good teacher if you work hard and communicate openly.

She's a great Professor and her classes are very complete. She's strict with deadlines, so make sure to turn things in on time. There's a lot of material, but it's not stressful if you stay organize, setting reminders on your phone really helps. I got A!!
