He does assign quite a bit of homework but does go over everyone's questions prior to turning it in. Covers material thoroughly. He also shows shortcuts to solving the equations that makes it so much easier. Would take another class with him.

MATH124:Sanjay uses WebAssign for online h/w. It's very frustrating to use, and gives problems we don't cover in class or that are much more difficult than what we covered in class. Sanjay is an above average math prof. but his class is really frustrating because of WebAssign. The textbook is useless, and he doesn't use it anyways. Can't recommend.

well it's true, Sanjay is a great teacher! He doesn't have to act like he cares, because he actually does. WebAssign was a little difficult to use, just read the directions. Also, don't buy the textbook unless you have to in order to get the WebAssign code.

best math teacher at butte! I learned more from him than any other math teacher I have ever had. his tests are tough, but he makes it easy to prepare for them and tells you exactly what will be on the test do the homework and try, and you will do well.

Webassign was problematic but because of his dedication and brilliance he made things easier for us. He showed us so many cool tricks. He should really write a book. Best teacher I ever had and I think the whole class felt the same way.

It was one of the hardest class I took. First it was intermediate algebra and then statistics. I got a C in math 124 but managed to get a B in statistics. He is the most inspirational teacher I have ever had in all my life and he was not easy. He just made me want to do well just to see how proud he would become.

Math4, 5, 18! This is the third semester I have taken a math class with Sanjay. Everything was online and through math lab because of COVID. He is an excellent teacher and posts videos of the hw explaining things. Very willing to help and work with students! I had a great experience taking classes with Sanjay. Highly recommend! One of the most willing to help professors I have met in a long time. Math generally causes adult tears for me, however, in this class, I seem to understand enough to pass. I am fine with not having a perfect grade. He is the first math professor I have ever had to go to so many different lengths to help students believe in themselves.

I took Math 4 with this professor completely online. The hardest part of this class would be that it was through Pearson so I did not see any of my assignments on my To-Do list. Instead I had to click on Pearson to see. But he was always willing to help and give extensions on homework/tests when needed. Would definitely take again!

Fingers crossed I get into online Math 18 with Dev Fall 2022! I'm not good at math. With this prof I passed online math.The assignments are well taught with matching follow along vids made by Sanjay. Exams are identical to assignments making them easier than expected. So forgiving due dates, tests and assignments. Beautifully encouraging!

Took his class two semesters in row, Math 4 and 5. It was super easy, after every homework assignment there is a quiz on it. Assignments were mostly always due on sundays. He gave me extensions when needed and was super understanding.

I failed stats before with mark wilpolt and was recommended to take Sanjay's class. In the lecture he walks you though each question. 1 homework and 1 quiz per week on Pearson MyLab (also has all assignments and dates on it). He's caring and willing to work with you. You have to put in some effort, but it's easy compared to others. Recommend him.

If you communicate with him, he will allow you to retake quizzes and exams you did poorly on in order to revise. He is very caring and wants you to do well.

Sanjay is an excellent math professor who really cares about his students' success. His online videos and extra help sessions made the material much more manageable. Definitely recommend using unstuck ai along with the resources he provides.
