This is Dr. De's first year at Nova, and he is the best professor I have had so far, he truly cares that you learn the information. All of his tests are from the powerpoint, no surprises you know what you are getting. He is so funny and sweet, and I would for sure recommend him for any course. He makes class fun and makes sure you learn.

Dr. De is one of the best professors that I have had at NSU. Yes this is a hard class in its own nature, but he will help you succeed as long as you are willing to put in the effort. Took Dr. De for a&p2 and learned SO MUCH! Currently in dental school and still remember a lot of the material that was taught in his class. Dr. De is perhaps the best biology professor I have taken at NSU. Anatomy might be the hardest class I have taken, and Dr. De does a remarkable job simplifying the concepts. In office hours, he would through old test questions to help me prepare for the tests. I still have a great relationship with Dr. De outside of class and can't wait to take AP2

He's honestly wonderful. He's very thorough in his lectures and lets you know exactly what will be on the exam. If you make a study guide, you'll be fine. Because of his frequent quizzes and test you are constantly trained to be on top of the material. He's also very helpful in office hours!

Rumor has it there's a testbank (which he uses for exams)- a lot of people cheated which is very annoying. He gives extra credit for answering a bonus question right at the end of lab. I actually had Dr. De for A&P2 (BIOL 3330) and the Biology Independent Study (BIOL 4990). Dr. De's lectures were always very thorough, interesting, and well-explained in a manner that was easy to understand. For the independent study, he provided guidance and made a project that seemed daunting at first, much easier to manage. Great professor!

I took Dr. De's A&P I and II. Although course content is extensive, Dr. De makes sure all students capture concepts in class and makes it easy to understand. His course is best for students preparing for the MCAT and graduate science program, as he instills the fundamentals. Lab serves as a great review for class materials.

Also, if you have an entrance exam (MCAT/DAT) this class overprepared me for the anatomy questions in the biology section of the test! I took Dr. De for AP I&II and I cannot express how much I love his lectures! 2 hours and a half of constant AP is mentally draining, and it requires a lot of hard effort, but it is worth it if you take it with him. He makes information easy to digest, and genuinely cares for his students. Take advantage of his extra credit lab questions!

His tests are very reasonable and essentially identical to the lectures and PowerPoint presentations he covers in class. He's always available to help and easy to access outside of class, so if you are struggling a little, consider getting help and he will weigh that towards your grade.

Professor De was very helpful in assisting our individual research questions when preparing a manuscript under his mentorship. Dr. De is INCREDIBLE prof and prepared us for a future in medicine. He has such a warm, positive energy and repeats things frequently to help us better remember the material. No hw or lab reports, graded mostly by 4 exams, which are more than fair. If you study the ppts and attend lectures, you will do well.

I'll say that you will need to start studying and reviewing after every lecture, and don't fall behind in lectures because everything will start to pile up. If you are taking or studying for the MCAT, I recommend taking the A/P course with Professor De. His lab is very straightforward; you will ace the test with the help of PAL and his presentation. My first MCAT score was 500; his presentation helped me get a high score in the B&BFLS section. However, you have to understand the concept.
