Not an easy class, but Mr. Molina is an excellent teacher. I have used the information that he taught me in EVERY class I have taken since. His tests are very comprehensive, but he gives MANY opportunities for extra points and even drops low quiz grades. He is super smart and teaches on a high level, but he is more than willing to help you learn
He is a great teacher and the material isn't the easiest but he will help you out in anyway that he can! Also ALL HIS QUIZES give you the oppertunity to earn extra credit points (you can get over a 100 on the quizes)
I may be biased because I am doing well, but the class seems fairly straight-forward. He gives plenty of extra credit and his quizzes reflect what is on the exams. I'd take him for A&P2 if he was teaching it.
Mr.Molina is a really good teacher! He posts all of his notes and is always available if you need help on your tests. He gives losts of easy quizes that will help your grade and he posts study guides for his tests. If you want to learn Anatomy, take Mr.Molina!
THE BEST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! HE LOVES WHAT HE DOES AND IT SHOWS! TESTS ARE FAIR, NOT EASY NOT HARD.. ATTENDANCE IS ONLY A MUST ON QUIZ OR TEST DAYS..EASY 'A' IF YOU STUDY AND DO ASSIGNMENTS
He is a very nice teacher. He knows his stuff and makes the class interesting. Get the book because you will need it. He gives you and Need to Know sheet and post everything on blackboard. Take him if you want to learn A&P and past.
Everyone in this class fell asleep majority of the time. Nice guy, dresses well. Just talks too much and is boring.
He explains things in a way you can understand it by doing demonstrations.Just read before class. DO NOT MISS CLASS, unless you fully understand the text.
There is a lot to learn and it is not easy but Mr. Molina is one of the best professors I have had. He gives a very detailed "need to know" study guide and is very willing to help out. There is no getting around it you will have to study ALOT but you will find few pro. willing to help as much as Molina. I am taking him next semester for 2086!
You'll be better off just reading the book at home and coming to class and taking the test, because all he does in lecture is read from textbook made powerpoints which are very vague. Dont be mislead by the comments before me like I was he's useless.
This class is ridiculous. He DID not post a study guide for the first test and did NOT reply to an email I sent a couple days prior to the test. He's nice and means well, but what he goes over in class is NOT how he presents it on a test/quiz.
Watered down, unengaging lecturer. Teaches you like you are fifth grader, both intellectually and psychologically. Dont let that fool you, however, you are still responsible for just as much information as those with thorough professors. I don't mind being tested on the material, but he should at least cover the material in class and engage studnts
The class is super hard but he did a great job teaching it. Great professor!
His tests do not come from the material he teaches. Nothing comes from his notes and reviews are not clear.
Nice guy, but not a good teacher at allll. You won't understand anything if you don't have some kind of background in anatomy or biology or something in that area. Never clear about what is on tests or quizzes, never posts a study guide. You just sit in class and take notes. Don't take him!!
The most condescending teacher I have had in 3 years. Easy class if you study, but if you want to be talked down on and be treated with no respect, this is your guy. He speaks very slowly and explains what words mean as if nobody is as smart as him. Still, easy A if you study even if you don't attend class.
Great teacher. Tests are multiple choice and come from his power points. He is very good at explaining and expanding on topics. Not condescending at all..? He is obviously smart and knows what he's talking about. Don't really need the book just his PP online. Really recommend going to the class and then reviewing right after. Easy A if you do.
Great teacher and great person. Very knowledgeable. Thank you Mr. Molina for my background in Biology! I wish I could've appreciated it more 2 years ago.
I liked him. The class wasn't the most interesting, but that's because it was a science class for non-science majors. He's very nice, you can tell he's also a High School teacher. He explains everything very clearly and simply, so even if you zone out you can pick back up. Also, the book was unnecessary because he puts his powerpoints online.
Professor Molina was awesome. Some people did not like his teaching style but I thought he was really good. He acts things out and trys to really get you to understand. Just go to class, listen and do the quizzes. He lets you take all the tests at home except for the final. I ended up with a 99% in the class. He's awesome!!!
Best Anatomy & Physiology teacher. He's very nice and he really wants everyone to learn and pass the class. He's gotten me to be interested in physiology. This class on its own is hard, but Mr. Molina will defiantly always offer his help. He's goofy and very handsome for his age.
great professor! i got an A in his class! those who say they didn't like most likely didn't pay attention in his class or even came to class. study, do your work, and an A is possible!
A&P is super hard for me to grasp but Proffessor Molina definitely was super helpful! I did bad on one or two tests but did good on all the homework and quizzes and by the end of the semester went from a 'C' to an 'A'. Lectures do seem long because it is mostly slides and him talking, but if you don't understand he is more than willing to help.
You can really tell that he is a highly intellectual person! He makes everything very clear, though sometimes veers off subject with his talking. Overall a great teacher and if I could take him for every science subject, I would!
Mr. Molina is awesome. He goes over the need to know sheet with the entire class kinda like a lecture class. You do have to study material out of the book to get A's and unfortunately if you get even 1 low B on a practical you are in a tight spot because there are only 4 practical exams worth 50 pts (3 pts possible extra on each). Practical images!
Great professor, wants his students to succeed, and his door is alway open. Will even skip his lunch if you need is help. Not sure what the complaints are about him "mostly talking"... it's a lecture class, what other way could one possibly teach? Like anything else in life: show up and do the work.
Very good teacher. Takes the time to make sure you know the material. Gives extra credit for attendance and online homework. All quizzes and exams are online except midterm and final. Gives a group project, easy 40 pts. Drops 2 of your lowest quiz grades. Awesome professor! Will be taking him for BSC2086.
Amazing professor. I'm really confused as to why the cumulative ratings are mediocre. Maybe, some students going from HS to comm. college don't understand or appreciate that Mr. Molina really cares makes an effort for his students understand and achieve A's. A/P is not easy, but it can be if you listen, show up, and do the work!
Great professor. Class act. Think of your ideal professor -- Mr. Molina is a match. Hard class, but he makes it easy to understand. Must take! The caveat is that once you do, you will hate all your other professors.
Mr. Molina is a WONDERFUL teacher, and I don't understand why he has so many bad reviews below! A&P isn't easy and it takes A LOT of work. No, he doesn't give out study guides that high school kids are used to (this is college!), but if you go to class and take active notes you will do great! He is one of the best science teachers at TCC, no joke.
Professor Molina is great! He explains things in a way that you will understand. As long as you take good notes, and come to class you will be OK in this course. To be honest I hardly ever read the textbook, unless I need further explanation about something. Tomorrow I begin a new semester with him (BSC2086)and I am quite excited!!
Mr. Molina is an EXCELLENT teacher. The topic is difficult and he understands that but makes it easy to understand. He explains his expectations of the class and grading scale at the beginning and sticks to it. Attend class (extra points at the end), take good notes, do the online assignments (extra points at the end) you'll easily get an A.
Professor Molina really knows his stuff and wants to help his students succeed. The class isn't easy and the tests are somewhat hard but he makes the material easier to understand and he posts his lectures online. Take him!
Santiago Molina is a great professor. It is clear that he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He always explains thoroughly and doesn't mind answering a lot of questions. You can tell he wants his students to succeed. I'm going to take his class again for A & P 11. The class isn't easy material but he gives amazing study guides
I took him for A&P I and II and he is an awesome professor even though he just lectures the whole class... he could care less if you come though. In 2085, everything was online except the midterm and the final... but in 2086 there are 3 in class tests and an in class, cumulative, final so it's a little more difficult!
I felt he was disorganized and doesn't put power points up in time. Over all he is a good teacher. I need someone a little more to the point and organized. He did good about extra credit which helped me a lot. I did get an A and A&P is no joke! He is willing to help if you show effort. You must work for it, test are hard, you have to seek the help.
Professor Molina is a great instructor. He explains material well and uses examples that make it easier for us to understand. I took him previously for BSC2085 and earned an A. This time around I ended up with a B. Mostly because I hardly attended class or read the book. His study guides helped me pass. Attendance and A&P were extra credit.
The man is so nice, but he a bit unorganized. Since this Anatomy and Physiology is a hybrid class, we meet only a few times throughout the semester for labs. I can't see how it is especially demanding for HIM, but he does seem to get dates, numbers etc wrong. He needs to take just a few minutes and check his work before assigningposting.
If you are not a nerd you can struggle in his class. I record all lectures because he talks the entire class and its confusing. Do not study from power point take good notes and read book.
I found Santiago to be a great professor, he is very interactive with the students and really cares if you understand the material. Because I had taken Anatomy 2 previously, but got a lower grade, it was an easier class for me than some of my classmates. His tests are around 33 questions long, worth around 68 points BUT he only grades out of 60!
Let me start by saying, Anatomy is not an easy class no matter who you take. If you're not willing to work, you will not understand the material. Mr. Molina was exceptionally knowledgeable in his field, and loves what he teaches. His tests were hard, if you don't study forget about passing. Long lectures but this class is a lot of material. STUDY!
Santiago is a good teacher but if you are taking a class to just pass do not take him but if you really really want to learn and understand the material, take him. he does not give homework or extra credit. every quiz inline along with the first and second test. his test are what you have to study really hard for. but on the bright side he is cool
Mr. Molina was such a pleasure. He really drills the information in during his lectures by asking questions to the class. If you are unclear about any material he is very helpful during his office hours. Loved him and he is so enthusiastic about the class subject. Definitely take his class!
I took Professor Molina for both BSC2085 Lab and Lecture. The lab was very difficult and calls for a lot of memorizing. The Practicals take a lot of studying to pass, however he was always ready to help students with any trouble or misunderstanding. The lecture was easier, both classes has no homework or extra credit just tests and quizzes.
I loved Mr. Molina. He really enjoys Anatomy and Physiology and I think that helps his lectures not be so boring. He will help you with whatever you need as long as you meet him halfway. I like him so much I'm definitely taking him for BSC2086 as well.
Professor Molina is great! With lab only meeting once a week, its important to go to know whats going to be on your next quiz or practical. Almost every week there will be either a quiz or practical (test). THIS CLASS IS BASED ON MEMORIZATION!!!
Molina is great in lecture. He is super engaging and explains the material well. However, I would recommend reading along with the textbook if you want an A because sometimes there just isn't enough time to cover everything in depth. Regardless, he is a wonderful teacher that I would take again in a heartbeat.
Mr. Molina is great. Really enthusiastic in his teaching and super funny. He is a really good teacher, but his tests have more detail than his lectures do, so you really need to keep up with the studying. He truly is passionate about what he teaches, and that makes it so much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
Amazing teacher.
Professor Molina is hands down the best science instructor I have EVER had. I have never been good at math or science but he made one of the most notoriously difficult courses seem easy and logical. He gives plenty of extra credit and if you go to class and do the homework you WILL get an A. TAKE HIM!!
I struggled. Lectures are just read off a power-point. He won't hesitate to call someone out especially for not knowing something: if you don't want the rest of the class to know your business don't talk to him until after class or in his office. Tests are hard and count for most of your grade if you do poorly on one, your grade drops.
Mr. Molina is a respectable man who wants you to succeed and will help you when you need it. To be successful, you need to begin studying at least a week in advance for an upcoming quiz or practical. You really need to have good study skills for A&P labs because there is a large amount of material covered. If you push yourself, you can do it.
I did not like this lab class. He would use images on the Practical that were not the same images online. Lectures very boring. We never looked at models, he only briefly told us what we need to know and focused on activities that were only about 2 questions on the practical. You will have to go in on your own time to look at the models.
This tutor is quite friendly and approachable, he knows his stuff and quite helpfull
Mr. Molina is a wonderful professor. He really knows his stuff and he wants his students to care about what they're learning and to succeed. You HAVE to pay attention to his lectures, and you HAVE to memorize things for the lab, he doesn't make it easy, but he really does provide all the tools you would need to pass and then leaves that up to you.
He is an amazing teacher. If you want a teacher who puts his effort to make sure his students pass his class, choose this teacher. He makes sure you understand the material and if you don't, ask him and he is gladly willing to help you understand it. He's very nice, friendly and makes sure you are having fun while learning.
He was an amazing teacher. He made sure that you understood the lecture. I would highly recommend him for every Anatomy and Physiology class. If you want a class that you are 100% sure that you will pass, take him.
Professor Molina is an awesome very passionate teacher. I wish he taught all health field related sciences, because I would love to take them from him!
I waited to rate mr. Molina until I was done with his ap1 & ap2. You have to study A LOT! The tests are VERY long. This class will take up a lot of your time. Ap1 was so much fun, and made learning ap1 easy. I feel that ap2, he became tough on us. At the end of it all, it was all worth it. I still think he's a great professor.
Awesome lab instructor! He came in halfway through the semester when our firs instructor took another job and the college had to struggle to find someone to take his 4 labs. Molina said he never taught bio lab but he did a good job I dont see how any couldve made under an A.
I loved this professor, you do have to study and there is a good bit of homework, but it is all doable and he is very good about meeting with you if you miss an exam or quiz. He was very enthusiastic and fun to have, along with knowing the course content well.
Enthusiastic, thorough, lots of bonus points. Skipping his class is the most stupid a student can do. Reading the textbook is a must. Take his study guide seriously. Do all online quizzes asap.
Don't need the textbook, but you do need the course access to do homework. DO THE HOMEWORK. THEY APPEAR ON THE TEST. He's not easy, but definitely worth it if you come to class. His exams are from what he emphasizes on lectures (he lets you know during class) so just going through the powerpoints won't help. He's really passionate and I adored him!
Horrible teacher!!! I would never have taken his class if I knew it would be like this. Gave us 3 test the first study guide given to us less than 24 hrs before the test second study guide not given at all, and then tried to get better with teaching methods later in the course & the last test already too late! He just reads off of the power point.
DO NO TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He reads straight from the powerpoint and goes off topic. Falls behind sometimes and rushes the lectures. DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY STUDY GUIDE. He literally gave us a study guide that had 300 question less than 24 hours before the test and it was not even helpful. I passed by teaching myself at home and reading the book.
If you're taking this class, it's probably because you need it for credit. If you want an "A" get ready to pre-read, take notes during class, and read after class. It's not because the professor isn't good, it is a hard class. This professor is in fact a caring and hardworking professor who does not give grades out to those who don't come prepared.
Jerk, rude just doesnt get it.
I loved taking his class, he worked with me no matter what the situation was and has always been understanding. He is a nice guy and is funny during his lectures, he also posts all of them online so if you miss something you can be sure to catch up. He seemed like he cared about his students succeeding and it was nice. Lots of work but very helpful
You definitely have to study because it is a hard anatomy class but he tries to help make it easier. His study guides are good and sometimes harder than the test itself. He always has extra credit questions on the tests and quizzes and the homeworks are easy 100 grades they just take time.
Stay on top of your lrnr because it really effects your grade in the long run
The best teacher for the lab is very nice, straightforward, has funny jokes, and knows what he is talking about. He gives you extra credit and there are four practicals and four quizzes and you're. He made the lab easy but you have to put in the work or you are going to fail this is not a guessing class you must study and you will receive an A .
This class WILL require lots of studying and time due to it being a Anatomy class. But overall great professor easy to understand. Lectures are great explains exactly how each quiz and practical will be like. Give out study guides that are extremely useful. Would definitely recommend.
all exams are honor locked
His practicals are straight to the point and this class is very test heavy. The only assignments are basically exams and quizzes. But if you study you should get the grade that reflects the amount that you have studied. Cares about his students and usually before any quizzes or practicals he will go over the topics and will post online material.
Great professor!! Loved that he had a clear grading outline. Very kind and reasonable. Take good notes, and reread the powerpoints and you'll be fine :)
I loved this teacher he was very understanding. If your having a hard time in anatomy I feel like you should take his class!
Super kind and willing to help all his students succeed especially with the extra credit he provides . However, he gave no study guides, his tests were different based on the content we learned and he provides no interactive assignments or videos in class. His PowerPoints are extremely vague and you pretty much have to teach yourself.
Lectures are hard to listen to and pay attention. Nothing is really clear on what you need to know for this class. Lots of busy work that takes you hours. Midterm and final make up most of your grade. Extra credit on mini tests will make a whole difference. Nice teacher just not an easy class to understand.
Overall great professor! We get mini-tests every week that have extra credit (are NOT honor locked)! The only exams taken in person are the midterm and the final. The class is 100% lecture based but the professor does leave more than enough room for questions. He truly wants his students to succeed. If you respect him he will respect you.
He really is a great teacher! He explains everything really well. The class itself is pretty hard and takes a lot more studying than you think, but he is a great teacher. He has bonus points available on the quizzes and is also generous when it comes to spelling on the practicals. He's great!
He know his stuff and has great lectures on the material. It's great having real models in the class and he answers whatever questions you have. He is a nice guy and very likable.
You should get an A if you do all of your homework. Mini Tests reflect homework. Midterm and Final reflect Mini Tests and homework. I would've gotten an A but I blew it on my final. Responds quickly. Uses Honor Lock for Midterm and Final
only complaint is that he talks about things that aren't on the slide so it makes it difficult to write it down as it is important but everything else is good. He allowed us to retake the midterm but each question we got right had to be half credit so still pretty good tho. He is very chill and patient. Very passionate about the material.
I had him for anatomy one lab. He clearly tells what parts might and may not be on the test. He also gives out a lot of extra credit. The practicals and quizzes are based straight off the textbook (which is free online). Learning commons also got a lot of resources for studying. Just make sure you start memorizing as soon as possible.
He is an amazing professor! He is clear about his standard and very caring and he allows room for makeup depending on your situation. He is all about just putting in the effort you will make a good grade in his class. YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO NOT BE TRYING TO MAKE ANYTHING LESS THAN A C.
if you don't come to class, you will FAIL. He is a very nice teacher, but he talks fast and the course is very heavy one.
He was very engaging toward students and seemed to really care about our opinions and how we were doing in class. He made sure to involve us in his lectures and give us many chances to ask questions after every topic. He gave extra credit on our weekly quizzes that were online and without honorlock. I took his courses twice and loved it both times.
He was AWESOME! His lectures were super informative and he gave different examples for each thing so if you didn't get one of his examples you could use another one you liked. he was lecture heavy so you did want to be in class but I loved him. Gave lots of question breaks and wanted us to engage with him. I took him twice and loved him.
Professor Molina cared about his students and their grades. He always had a smile on his face and you could tell he enjoyed what he was doing. I would for sure take again.
I had him for anatomy 1 lab and now anatomy 2 lecture. He was a great teacher for both. He is very knowledgable and he is a great professor.
Prof Santiago is Amazing!! There's extra credit questions at the end of each quiz. There is a lot of homework assignments via “CONNECT” however, he gave us the entire Summer Express semester to get them complete. The test were the same as the quizzes, just reworded a little. Overall I passed the class with a 98%. I highly recommend. You will Pass!
