She was honestly the worst professor Ive had during my two years here. Worst prof in the health science department by FAR. I was sick and missed the class where we chose our groups and was stuck with a HORRIBLE group and she was not understanding of my situation at all. Midterm was filled with bad multiple choice (which of the following is true?)

I have never seen such a worst professor in my life . She is not at all caring just gives the powerpoints and never explains them properly . Very tough grader . If you want to score good in your course never take her .

Her teaching style is questionable. She doesn't really teach. Shows us notes. Took her course online during the pandemic. One group project. Three pop quizzes. Two midterms. And a final exam. No textbook required which is a bonus. Everything is based on her lecture notes. Super chill course. I barely put in any effort and managed to get an A-

Sara is a very unorganized teacher and you wont get your marks back until a few weeks later. Its very hard to get a decent grade because marks are mainly on exams and 3 hard assignments. The exam was 13 long answer questions and 4 marks each so you don't know what she's expecting so its hard to get a high marks with exams.

Discussion during presentation suppose to be 20mins according to outline however it ends up being 40mins cuz she cancels her lectures for useless discussions, feel bad for the group that were the only ones presenting when usually its two, that had to do an 1hr20min discussion, yes you heard that right!!! Like wtf

Took her class during the Summer of 2020. She clearly has no clue about the material and cannot teach for the life of her. Honestly don't know how she got a teaching degree.

would personally never take a course with this prof ever again. does not care about her students and when challenged with questions, is at a loss for words or just asks questions back to the student to cover the fact that she honestly has no idea what else to say or do. also talks about unnecessary details that are irrelevant and wastes time.

Worst prof Ive ever had. Doesnt care about her students succeeding. When asked a question she wont answer it because she is just as confused. She even said to our class that the questions on her tests dont really make sense. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HER!!!!!! You will regret it!!!!!!

She is unclear and has a very particular way of talking that's just hard to understand, she takes a month to mark exams and when she finally does so they have so many marking errors that your grade can change up to 10% if you ask her to review it. Exams are so unclear that she feels the need to go through them and explain every single question.

Find another uni that is teaching a course equivalent to this one. The professor is the problem. Graded by only our 2 midterms (20% x 2), final (20%), and group project (20%) and participation (20%). Class average for first midterm was 50-60%. Participation is filled with meaningless comments/questions on randomly chosen topic presentations.

Awful professor, she does care and is very intelligent, but cannot teach, I mean cannot teach! She uses TA’s that are an*l about grading, not sure why but she is terrible at teaching and can’t get the concept across without rambling along about irrelevant topics. She needs to be teaching PhD candidates not Associate or Bachelors!

The material itself is not hard but the way she teaches the material is often unclear which makes the course hard. Assignment and Midterm questions are also confusing sometimes because it is worded incorrectly or are just unclear. Her TA does the marking so there's often errors and takes a month or more to mark things.

Simply horrible marking style, I wonder we are not paying such a heavy tuition fee to get marked disastrously by TA marker. She deadly needs to change the style or else she is simply pushing students to lose their interest in doing better next time. Exam questions are hardly ever clear but they definitely want a straight forward answer, ironical!

Very intelligent professor, I mean very intelligent. Downsides, she takes for ever to mark and will say exam marks will be out this week and they are two if not 3 weeks later! Lectures are boring. if you mess up your exams you're kind of screwed... if she has more than two classes she gets flustered and disorganized.

Teaching style is not very helpful and is very unorganized in terms of getting your marks for your exams. Received marks for other exams and assignments a day before the finals.

Uninspired, unmotivated, and monotone.. Sara literally just reads off of slides all class and casually asks students "any questions?" at random intervals in order for it to feel like she's keeping them in the lecture.

She is the most boring instructor i have ever come across. She knows how to make everyone asleep in the class, there arenot too much things to boost your grades in the class. avoid taking her classes.

Sara is NOT a good teacher, if you have the opportunity to NOT choose her, DON'T. She suffers from dyslexia and ADHD, which make her class a little difficult. The tests contain grammatical errors and sentence problems, and she makes a lot mistake during correction. Quiz and midterms are not difficult, but they don't match the assignments it gives.

Please do not take this professor at all. I advise you to just pick a different prof instead and I made that MISTAKE by choosing her. Lectures are very BORING. She tells you to speak what's on your mind when you are doing an assignment but when she comes to grading it, she'll give you no marks bcus half of it wasn't professional for her liking.

She's absolutely the worst. Teaching a BIOL course for the first time doesn't excuse her incompetence. She's consistently rude to her students and lacks the basic skills to effectively teach the material. Her exams are a mess, filled with grammar mistakes and lacking clarity, and she's unwilling to give any partial marks. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Today is first March 1st, over halfway through the semester, Sara has not provided any marks to us. Today is the last day to drop any classes and I have no idea what I am getting in her course. The ridiculous amount of money I have paid for this class to not have a single idea of what is going on. She makes all of her content confusing.

She's very condescending and does not care if you're actually learning anything. She can discuss one slide for 20 minutes and go absolutely nowhere with those 20 minutes. Don't take her course.

She was a bad lecturer, unable to transfer knowledge effectively. Her disorganized teaching style failed to engage students, leaving many struggling. Despite thinking she was clever, she dismissed others' input. She is not suited for this job and doesn't have the qualities of a good lecturer

Langara needs to take accountability and fire her

Sara's teaching style is awful. The lectures are long and confusing and this is more like a biology class than health science. The quiz and exam format is AWFUL, basically all fill in the blanks of confusing sentences. It is currently Nov 5 and we have not received back any marks to know where we stand in the class. AVOID at all costs.

Worst professor by far. So difficult to even get a C grade. Boring lectures and her formatting of the quizzes and exams are very confusing, especially the fill in the blanks. She was late by 50 minutes on our exam day because she was printing it out and told us we were the ones wasting time. Never ever take this professor.

Langara needs to fire her immediately for the sake of students future. She has no idea how to teachh.

This professor was not very supportive. Midterms and quizzes were not returned, making it difficult to understand performance to improve. Lectures were often unclear. She made courses more stressful & challenging than necessary. I strongly recommend avoiding this professor. It is disappointing that the college has not addressed these concerns.
