she is an awesome teacher! i hated history until i had her. she makes it very fun and she actually makes history interesting. she is very energetic and always in a good mood! she gives a lot of extra credit so that everyone in her class passes. vey easy and fun class she is an awesome teacher!

I think Mrs. Bostellmann is very loud and weird but I like her. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is going to take history. I have her for Hist 1301 in Summer 2 and I plan on taking her for Hist 1302 in the Spring. I bought a textbook but you don't need one for her class. She teaches what you need to know.

Excellent Teacher!! She is funny and entertaining, and keeps class moving. Her lectures are all on Power Point, and posts all her note on E-campus so you can download everything. Her study guides for tests are on E-campus, and do include map tests. LOTS of opportunities for extra credit, so with a little studying and the EC there is no reason not

Take her!!! she will talk smack to her students, walk around barefoot and steal your food. she is the best teacher i have ever had. i am going to schoool to teach history so i am a little biased but she has a passion for what she teaches and for her students. pay attention to her powerpoints and the tests are not that hard. you will enjoy her.

She is good,but as a foreign student I couldnt get her accent.She goes so fast with power point.It makes Hist uninteresting.She is frm Lousiana,I really got trouble with her accent(specially when she teaches).Other wise,she is very helpful.But not with grades

I didn't use the textbook at all. She gives plenty of extra credit and her tests are straight from the reviews. I would definately recommend her!

She most definitely knows her stuff and knows exactly what she's talking about. She makes history incredibly interesting and there is never a dull moment. Unfortunately, her tests are incredibly hard and, unless you study a lot, and I do meant A LOT, you probably won't do too good, so beware.

In a nutshell: She?s funny, awesome, intresting, has a southern accent, and doesn?t mind you being late. Tests are HARD! But the maps tests are an easy A. Most of her notes are powerpoint(and online) but are vauge, so attend her class to know about her lecture! Never once touched the history book, and she gives extra credit. Good luck! :]

I loved her! She's loud and funny, and she makes everything interesting. She posts the PowerPoint notes on line so you can print out and follow along (and add to them). Never touched a textbook. The tests were hard, but the reviews really helped. Just put your cell phone away during class, and bring her food. :)

Before taking this class my inerest in history was 0. After I took her I learned a lot and I became a history lover. She lets u eat and everithing in class. The only thing that pisses her off is you being on the phone in class and cheating in test other than that she is the coolest teacher ever!!! I higly recomend her.

I enjoyed her and her class. She is sweet and very funny. She provides the lectures online and test review. The test aren't as hard as some say. Really, just study and answer all the review questions and you will do well.

she is very funny and passionate, if you get a 100 on all your notecards and map test you will get at least a High C, do all the extra credit and Mid B . but if you do great on everything of course that's a good grade. Also don't go by the total points go by the letter grade because the total points aren't your grade.

What a great teacher!!!! The other student is a whiner! She gives lots of extra credit, 25 points of every test is over a US map and her tests are right from the study guide. But you have to study. She's great. Take her.

Took Mrs. Bostelmann for Hist 1301 and she was great!She keeps the class entertained and doesn't beat around the bush...basically just gives it to you straight. There's not much need for a book in her class all the tests come from her power points, also the note cards are like a built in booster for your grade. Overall a great Professor

Mrs. Bostelmann is a great teacher! She was my favorite of the semester. She's hilarious and makes the lectures interesting. Her class is really easy, all you do is take notes and every few weeks you have a test. Only time you need the book is for reading assignments but not mandatory. Tons of extra credit opportunities. I recommend taking her!!

The online History class was like all others I have taken. You have to do the work. Mrs. Bostleman was quick to answer any questions by email. Tests are over the material in the book. I thought it was good. Better than others where you have to wait an eternity to see grades and to have your teacher get back to you.

Great class but you MUST put time into it. Her tests are tough, but she provides everything you need to do well. My strategy: Record every lecture, complete test prep worksheet, print out lecture powerpoint and take notes during lecture, do all extra credit work. Study, study and study. Listen to the recording as much as you can.

Mrs. Bostelmann is a great teacher. She knows what's she talking about and her lectures are straightforward and often humorous. The test can be a little tough but she gives ample extra credit opportunities. She's not a fan of cellphones or laptops.

I took her for History 1301 and loved her, the next semester I decided to put off History 1302 and waited. Lucky me she taught 1302 then, so I got her twice. She really knows her history and makes it fun. Her tests were easy to me, I just showed up, listened and took notes. No need for a book. Just pay attention and you will make an A. Hilarious

A great teacher, knows her subject, and an amazing person. She is hilarious and class is so much fun. She does not allow cell phones in class. There are four tests and assignments and we have a lot of extra credits. Visiting the museum and maps keep the grade up.

History is HISTORY. It's all facts, dates, specifics, and any research you do, Prof. Bostelmann WILL have you cite them or she will flag you for plagiarism. One thing I feel most students will struggle is how fast she lectures. YOU will be notetaking at 100 miles an hour. Other than that, she's pretty funny and her class is fairly easy.

She gives hilarious, interesting, easy, and fun lectures! Extra credit, study guides, and notes are provided (which I recommend using because they really help on tests). While she does lecture fast at times and doesn't allow phones, I found these to be minor issues once actually in the class. She's a great professor and I highly recommend her!

She's a great teacher, but her humor is not for everyone! You have 4 tests and then like 5-6 homework assignments, and that is your whole grade. Her tests come from her lectures (which are powerpoint) only 2-3 questions from the book per test, so if you dont go to class you wont pass. She gives youthe chance for EC on every test

I took Bostelmann for Hist 1302 for a online 8-week class. The class consisted of 4 discussion boards, 4 40questions tests, and a short paper. If you try and study, the work is easy and you will get a good grade. She offers a lot of extra credit. I passed with a B, 87%. Only because I didnt try on the first db and test :( TAKE HER CLASS !

I took professor Bostelmann 8 week course, make sure to study if you fail a test it will drop your grade big time. the class had 4 tests ( four different units), 4 discussion boards, and a short writing assignment also make sure to do all the extra credit it helps a lot. you will pass easily if you put the effort into studying.

TAKE HER CLASS! Prof. B is literally one of the best teachers I've had in a very long time. She made history fun with all of the extra credit assignments she gives.This class was fairly easy, it contained 4 test, two discussion boards and one very short paper. She's very understanding and replies super fast to emails and cares for her students.

It's also almost impossible to fail...she gives so much extra credit opportunities and you are able to make up an exam at the end of the semester. Overall, she is a wonderful person and a great teacher. Her lectures are never dull, and she is easy to understand. She is also very funny during these lectures. She is honest and it's obvious she cares about her students. Plus, she gives quite a lot of opportunities for extra credit.
