She tries to teach self-reliance and has high expectations! If you want to learn, and have a great work ethic, take advantage of this professor! She really is helpful in class and out. When I get my papers back there are plenty of remarks which are very helpful in tuning my own writing style. I give her an A!

She is a very nice teacher, her quizzes are simple if you study the study guides she gives. She is very into group working. Will help with any essays that a student has an issue with

Awesome professor! I am taking her for 1102 now as I liked her so much. Very helpful! You muct attend her classes as this is part of your grade. Her grading system is extremely fair. As long as you put forth an effort and participate, you are sure to get at least a B. I got an A...after not being in school for 22 years! That says something!

When I first met this professor I didn't like her because she had some annoying habits that just really got on my nerves (like calling everyone ma'am and sir over and over again, making a weird clicky noise with her tongue, and saying "how should we say it..." all the time). She ended up being really nice and a good teacher. Very helpful, too.

After being away from college for many years, it was good to know a professor cared about your success as much as Prof. Dustin. She demands much because she cares much and when you are in the real world, she won't be taking you by the hand. I admire and respect that. Take her.

Great professor! As long as you show up, do the work, and participate in class you'll do fine. She can be a little firm on rules, but she is still very helpful. Sucks this is my last ENC course XD

AWESOME PROFESSOR. I am taking her now for 1101 and I am taking her for 1102 next semester. Her class is very easy. She is of great help and looks for the best interest of her students. Shes a bit odd, but a great person. DEFINITELY TAKE HER IF YOU WANT AN EASY A OR B+ .

Professor Dustin is brilliant! Her course will seem a very easy A, but the demands in the course are the same as any other ENC course, only Professor Dustin uses all the tools available to her very well, making her course seem very easy. Merry Christmas Professor Dustin!

Professor Dustin expects you to do the work as a student should. The reviews I read dont tell the entire story. The class is NOT easy. There are a lot of in-class discussions. participation is part of your grade. You must write well to pass the class but the Professor is eager to help when you need it. GREAT CLASS. Wish I took her for Comp I.

Professor Dustin is really helpful and her class is so easy, she gives review for each quiz, the quiz is really easy. She gives you time in class to work on essays and she gives you in detail what she wants in the essays. If you ask for her help she will be more than glad to help you. You need the book in certain times

very easy class. She gives a review on what the exams are on. She says very clearly that the review is the only thing on her test. Her papers have a guideline just follow that and you are fine. She gives time in class to study and write papers. also drops one exam grade if you somehow got a bad grade on it.

She's awesome. I love her corny nerd jokes about grammar; and she seems to have a personality unlike some professors. I recommend her if you're not good in writing and want a teacher that won't bite your face off for asking questions.

Take her class! She is very clear about expectations and keeps the class moving forward. She is interested in the success of her students and will take time to assist when needed. You will look enjoy your time in her class. I only wish she taught the advanced courses too!

Professor Dustin was very helpful and down to earth. She was very enthusiastic about teaching the subject, and was interested in the success of her student. Quizzes were fairly easy, but essays were graded pretty harshly.

She is tough, not doubt about it. She grades tough- her guidelines and how she grades the essays are too broad, and thats why you will never be able to get an A on an essay. Her quizzes are moderate, if you study the material from the powerpoints and textbook, you will be okay. Participation is a big grade, you cannot skip class or leave early.

This class was definitely the hardest college course I've taken thus far. I took it online and she has extremely easy quizzes and discussions, but makes up for it with horrendous papers. She doesn't provide enough feedback on the actual papers, but just email her and she will give you a lengthy response. Plan on getting a B, the highest grade 90

I like her. Not the best but by far NOT the worse professor I have had. I do not struggle with writing, therefore her class was easy for me. Would not recommend to struggling writer. She knows what she wants in her papers. BIG on grammar. Challenges me enough with writing , yet I am not bored or struggling. Overall, not a bad experience with her.

This professor was the BEST I have yet to experience with an online course. She posted reminders every time an assignment was coming due, graded RIGHT away, and gave great feedback. Quizzes and DP were super EASY - she focused on what really matters- the papers - which yes, they were long, but this is a comp class so that should be expected.

Absolutely impossible to get an A on any paper she assigns. She expects perfection so if you're not perfect don't take this class (:

She's a really good professor that makes it extremely clear what she wants to see in her papers. She's more than willing to read what you have and will tell you what you need to improve on. It's probably impossible to fail her class. However, if reading is not your thing then this probably isn't the class for you.

Professor Dustin is okay for a literature course. It's a lot of reading but I definitely reccomend her.

Buy the textbook because, though the quizzes are common sense, there are specific topics only found in the text. Dr. Dustin keeps the class very engaged with questions and discussions. Since she's a composition professor as well, she grades the journals roughly, but it's nothing good grammar won't fix.

Class was more reading and writing intensive than I expected for an associate class. However, if you follow the directions carefully, you will be fine.

I took this class online. I struggled early on because of a lot of family issues but she was very helpful. 1 quiz per week, easy, non proctored, final non proctored. usuallyy 1 discussion a week. 3 essays, substantial time allowed for each. can work ahead if online.

Dr. Dustin can be a tough grader but she gives great feedback on what you can do to improve your writing skills. I enjoyed the class online and she doesnt assign many essays. I would recommend Comp 2 with her!

Dr. Dustin was a great professor! She was always very nice and understanding when I reached out to ask questions. She assigned many papers, but they were always on an interesting topic, and she gave very clear instructions. I would advise anyone who takes her class to always read the text and stay up to date on the homework.

Each module there is a discussion, writing assignment, and quizzes or test. 2 attempts for quizzes and test and averages both scores. Easy 100 on discussions but she actually grades your writing assignments. Everything due at 11AM. Takes points off if late. Good at responding to emails. Ascesible if you need help on an assignment. No proctorio.

Dr. Dustin was fairy easy. I took her on a big course load and only spend maybe 20 minutes a week on her assignments. If there was a writing assignment it would be around 1 to 2 hours to make sure it was going to receive an A. Overall it was a class that I never really had to worry about.

She's a great professor! I love her classes because most professors when grading remove points without telling why but Dr. Dustin makes sure to comment what you can do better for next time! I'm definitely 5aking her class again for comp II!

Sara Dustin was a great professor for my online composition I class. She makes it extremely clear what she wants out of each assignment. If you read the rubrics you will succeed with no problem.

Dr. Dustin is a fabulous teacher. Quick grader, helpful feedback, and the untimed open note quizzes and discussions are easy A's. Be careful on your 4 major assignments. Just follow directions and do the work on time. I'd recommend using Grammarly to check over your work. I'm taking her for Comp 2 so I'll be back soon with a rating on that as well.

Back again after taking Comp 2 and I found it even easier than Comp 1 with her. Dr. Dustin's honestly the sweetest & always provides good feedback on assignments in a timely manner. I highly recommend taking her. Also, use Grammarly to check over your work, it really helps. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for my writing class, genuinely.

Professor Dustin is very good at her job and I would recommend to take her. She grades quickly, gives useful feedbacks. For the small assignments if you do it you will get an 100%. For the 4 big essays, she is tough on them but when it averages out with the small assignments you will be fine. An A in her class is definitely not hard to get!

I personally don't like writing at all, but this class was not that bad at all. She is a tough grader but as long as you try to follow the guidelines should give you a B or higher. You have to turn the work in on time, but everything is due at 11 AM on Monday, which is really helpful. you only get two major essays but the other assignment were easy
