I have had many different professors throughout my college career. By far, Dr. Kalifa is the best teacher I have had. I have never met a teacher with such dynamic enthusiasm, wit, and charisma. She is truly inspirational. She has a stimulating teaching style; she presents in ways that are interesting and involving. She wants students to learn.

Dr. Kalifa is the best professor. She holds her students to high standards and expects the best from us. Also, Dr. Kalifa loves to teach and wants us to learn the concepts and not just memorize. As students, we appreciate her dedication and enthusiasm. I highly recommend her if you need to take any biology courses; especially A&P I and II.

Dr. Kalifa made me change my major to health science. I was always intimidated by it but got to love it. I heard her classes fill up so fast, no wonder. I will take her in fall. she is clear about her grading, reviews before every exam, posts grades promptly, posts power points. she is clear about her expectations, A is achievable if you attend.

Dr. Kalifa is great! Her lectures and labs are straightforward. Her test are based on her powerpoints. Labs exams are straight from the Lab Manuel. If you review her ppts, you'll do fine. Lab is pretty much memorization.

I had Dr. Kalifa for Anatomy I and will be in her class for Anatomy II. Dr. Kalifa is simply the best!!great teacher and person! she is accessible anytime you need help. prompt grading and response to emails. It takes someone like Dr. Kalifa to understand Physiology. She makes it so easy to understand. 'A' can be achieved if you attend lecture.

This is just the first week of class. I should say Dr. Kalifa has impressed me like no other before! Her energy is contagious, she seems to be down to earth and nice. I am convinced why students talk a lot about her. I love her class, wish I took her for BIOL212 last semester.

The class itself is difficult but her lectures are good but a bit hard to understand with her accent. Make sure you attend every class lecture, if you skip one class you may be lost. She gives random pop quizzes so make sure you pay attention and write good notes during lecture. Also, take notes during lab , her lab exams are based on her slides.

She makes hard things easy to understand, but some of the exams questions are tricky. She does a really great job on her lectures, but she never explains every details of Lab. You need to read the lab manual by your own. Be aware of pop quizzes. She never takes attendance, but if you don't attend you may lose one of the pop quizzes.

If it were not for dr. Kalifa I would not pass, this is my 3rd time taking it. she makes it super easy. she is passionate, very helpful and approachable. it is expected you do your part, she does more than her part to help. she reviews before every exam tells you what to expect so there is no surprise.I have registered for her BIOL212 too TAKE HER!

She is a great professor, but she doesn't drop, curve, or bump any grades. Everything is weighted the same so if you do poorly on a quiz and really well on a test, your grade will go down because they're not weighted differently. She is a really good professor but I'm sure there is better. Use her as a second choice.

I do not think there is a better professor than Dr. Kalifa! she gave 3 pop quizzes over the semester for minimal points. she always gives reviews before every big exam and the class does very well. we do class activities and the class is very active. she reviews lab and lectures before every lab. she cares for her students. I enjoyed her class!!!

Her lectures are amazing. She has pictures and she describes the pictures/ processes, making it easy for us to understand the topic. Her reviews are from her powerpoints/Lectures. She cares that you understand the basic parts of a topic which is great because she doesn't really focus on the small details.

Awesome professor. I took BIOL212 and 213 with her and got an A in both. She is a great teacher, she is always so energetic, keeps the class full of energy and amazing teacher to talk to. It is not an easy A class, hard work is important. Gives a lot of extra credit opportunities in class, and she gives 25 points for participation.

Took her during summer session 1 and she made anatomy super easy! Very straightforward with the content of exams and she makes lab powerpoints of the models! Summer would have been extremely difficult, but with her rhythm, enthusiasm, and encouragement it was great! She is one of my favorite professors at MC! Be sure to attend lectures or else!!!

Dr. Kalifa is a good professor but she goes too fast and tries to cover everything at once. Took her for Biol 212 in the summer and when we went over the muscle & bones she covered everything in 2-3 days and we had a week and half to cover everything, which made no sense to go ahead.

She is a very energetic person but her accent is tough to understand especially for lab. She cares for spelling when it comes to lab. Also, beware of essays and short written answers on her lecture exams. If you don't move a fast pace then don't take her. She covers material quickly. She also grades for participation, make sure you participate.

I just complete BIO 212 with Professor Kalifa and hands down she is the best professor I have ever had. She is very personable which makes her style of teaching so enjoyable. She is tough but fair and there always an opportunity to receive extra credit. Also she gives out handouts and slides for Lab, which helps for preparing for examinations.

Dr. Kalifa is an amazing professor. She clarifies everything you specifically need to know for the exam. She offers as much help as she can if you visit her office hours. In the lab tho, she doesn't explain how to do labs and just repeats power points. Most of what you have to do, you have to figure it out.

I have taken BIOL 150 before and had to withdraw. I took it with Dr. Kalifa and she saved my life! she makes you understand the basic concept and not rush to finish the chapters. we do a lot of activities in class and she has a slow pace of teaching to have everyone on the same page. she reviews before exam is super nice and caring. She explains the material extremely effectively in a way that's very easy to follow, especially for a class as hard as anatomy. I'm not good at studying on my own and I was still able to get a decent grade.

the class itself is hard but she made it easy to understand. you may know the concept but be careful of her lecture exams. it's hard and very specific. she stresses that if you study hard, you will pass the class but in my case that was difficult. overall, she's a great professor but wish she wouldn't make the lecture exams so difficult.

Prof. Kalifa is a decent lecturer (I'm biased), but her lab performances are weak. But watch out! she can make her exams a little tricky to test your understanding. However, she's caring and motivating, so overall I would take her again. Take a lot of notes and make study buddies (absolute life savers!)

She cares about her students. Makes the class easy and focuses on the overall topics of Bio 150. She does not go in depth on information that will not be needed. And she goes based off the power points. As long as you take your notes, pay attention, it's an easy class.

Dr. Kalifa is an excellent teacher. She emphasizes only what you need to know for tests. Pay attention, study what she tells you to study and you will be fine. Her test questions require a bit of thinking, so know functions and how things work. I would highly recommend any class she teaches.....and she is a wonderful person too!

This class is not easy but Dr.Kalifa will provide you with so many resources to succeed in this class! She is amazing and such a role model. As long as you put in the work, pay attention, and just enjoy learning the material the class is so much fun.

Lecture awesome. Lab was not the best, but I don't blame her because she doesn't create them. For my class, we did not know what to expect from the first lab exam. However, we told her about this and she adjusted and was really helpful in preparing us for the next.

She is very helpful! Great professor, always super happy to answer a question or help students. Do need to pay attention in the lab part though as it will be repeated once and you must know the material for lab exams. Absolutely loved her she was so nice and has a good teaching strategy. Take lots of notes & make a buddy!

BIOL150 is a very hard course. my 2nd time taking it. Dr. Kalifa makes it as easy as possible. I LOVE her!! Her personality is contagious. she focusses on the key concepts, has a clear expectation for exams, reviews before exams. lab exams are tricky, but she gives outlines. she wants everyone to do good, always available to help. she is the best!!

However, you feel her presence by the way she structured her website, very easy to navigate. weekly assignments which are perfectly aligned with the content. exams are totally what is covered in her lectures. she responds promptly. she makes a hard, accelerated online course easy. I was hoping for better with the reviews she has, but she isn't an amazing professor. I took the accelerated summer course which definitely made the class extremely hard as is and she tries to give you many resources and assignments that are easy, lots of extra credit. Her cons are she can be hard to reach outside of class and very confusing.

This is one of the best professors at Montgomery College. BIOL classes are not easy, but she does her best to make sure that her students understand the materials. She clearly demonstrates that she loves her job, so I encourage people who really like to learn to take her. Thank you Dr. Kalifa!!!

Dr. Kalifa makes this challenging course as manageable as possible. Her clear expectations and helpful review sessions are a lifesaver. I found unstuck AI and the free textbook to be great supplementary study tools alongside her lectures.

She may give TED talks and can speed through chapters, but she mainly focuses on key points and tells you what will be on the test. BIO150 is hard, but she tries to make it as easy as possible, skipping irrelevant chapters and rearranging the schedule to give more time to study

All the positive things about her are absolutely true, plus she has a great person to talk to. she would take her time to listen to you. students are her priorities. SHE IS THE BEST, HANDSDOWN!!

DR. KALIFA fulfills everything you would expect from a professor, period! if there is ever any negative comment about her, trust me, it is not accurate. SHE EMODIES A PERFECT TEACHER! I was fortunate to be in her BIOL150 and 212. I want to take her for BIOL213 I skip a semester since she is not teaching that in the fall, she is that great!!!

I had Dr. Kalifa for ONLINE BIOL 212. TAKE HER!! Blackboard set up is easy to follow, her lecture and lab recordings are posted. course schedule with all the due dates are posted at the beginning so you plan ahead. Exams are directly from her lecture slides and lab handouts. Exams are etremely fair,no tricks. She communicates with you regularly.

I had Dr. Kalifa for Online BIOL 212. This was my first class after years of break. I cannot express how Dr. Kalifa made my transition easy. She is always present. It was a very challenging accelerated semester, but her structured teaching and clear expectations made it easier. We used GroupMe to stay in touch and remind eachother. take her!!!

Dr. Kalifa is hands down the best professor!! She embodies everything you would expect from a professor. she make you understand the concept without overwhelming you. BIOL150 is pretty hard, she makes it digestible and really cares for your success. she focuses on what you need to know. I love her and I am lucky to be in her BIOL212 next semester!!

I was fortunate to have Dr. Kalifa for BIOL 212 and BIOL 213. MC should be lucky to have her! Her energy in the class room makes you attend every class. Her teaching style is epic and she makes sure you understood the content before she moves on. She respects every student and cares for everybody's success. I wish she could teach micro. TAKE HER!!!

I could not give enough praise for this professor. I wish I had her for A&P I. I took A&P II with her for the lab portion and she is the kindest and clearest professor. Very straightforward about the material and she really cares to make sure everyone's questions are heard and answered. She really wants you to know the material. Just put in work!

WOW!! She's way too good for this college, a true rare gem. She cares so much about her students, and she's SO passionate about what she teaches. She's the professor that changed and inspired me in the best way possible, but you need to put in a lot of effort. Anyone who doesn't do well, it's 100% on them. Can't wait to have her for A&P ll.
