The tests are decently easy if you study the powerpoints she gives you. She even offers a review which is very helpful. Although class attendance is not mandatory, I suggest you attend everyday bc she basically gives you points for showing up all the time.

Dr. Sohr-Preston is a wonderful teacher. If you are in class to LEARN you will. She makes psychology fun and interesting. Anyone who says she is boring must not be in the same class!!! At first I struggled because there was so much material, but by the end of the class I really enjoyed the class. Definitely attend class because she gives pop quizes that are nothing to stress about. Her class is way to easy. She give quiz and test, which comes straight from the notes given in class. These are grad classes so you have to work for it. Expect lots of homework and lengthy take home tests (15-25 pages depending on how you write). Lectures and labs are clear overall she is great. Her stats classes were some of my favorite classes so far.

She is great. Super nerdy and makes a lot of harry potter jokes. A lot of time is spent on lectures. Come to class as much as possible. She gives open notes quizzes that can make or break an A. If you miss a test, its okay because it'll get dropped. At the end of the semester if you haven't missed a test you can skip the final.

Dr. Preston is by far one of my favorite professors at SLU. She is upfront with things and is very explanatory with the material, which really helps for exams as well as your personal knowledge about the topics. Her tests are not unreasonable at all if you pay attention well to her lectures and moodle posts.

This is my third time taking her and she has been one of my favorite professors. This class and 324 are formatted the same. Claim summaries throughout the semester and a few tests. The finals are cumulative, but she drops the lowest test grade, so if you are happy with your grade, you don't have to take the final. OVerall, she is amazing.

You will have to actually put in the effort. You MUST attend class you'll write papers and will have 2 tests and a final. It's not a bad class though as long as you fix your paper based on her feedback. She is very clear on what she wants and is looking for. Have never written a review on here before but Dr. Sohr-Preston deserves the hype. She is such an amazing lecturer, her lectures were always the highlight of my week. Her tests are easy if you go to class. She engages you in the subject matter very well and you can tell she cares about what she is teaching. Would take her a million times over.

She doesn't count attendance, but she does do class participation sometimes, but this is the easiest class and she is the most understanding professor! Her exams are easy and the context of her exams are easy if you pay attention in class and take notes.

If u have an A before the final you don't have to take the class. Only downside is she includes her political views, some things should not be discussed in this class.

Take her!! Psychology is lecture heavy but she makes it easy to understand. She relates information back to her family which makes it feel like you know her personally. I took her for 204 and I am going to take her again for 210 online. She records her lectures if you miss class, quizzes are textbook based but test are book and lecture based.

This is my second time taking Dr. Sohr, and she is awesome. She was able to provide assignments outside of the exams for extra grades in the class, and would even provide bonus. She does record the lectures and doesn't require attendance, but going to class is always good. Be ready for essay questions if you are in a smaller class!

Amazing teacher! She will post her lectures onto Canvas everyday, so you don't have to go in person if you don't want to. She will give extensions to assignments without an excuse. Lots of online homework but it's easy. Her test material consists of lectures and material covered from the online homework. Amazing professor and will take her again!!
