This was a great class. My most exciting class of the semester. I made an A in the class and never opened the book. She gives a wonderful study guide and her tests are straight from the lecture. I never took notes either because she posted them on tracs and I just followed along. She's an extremely nice prof and east. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Angulo was a wonderful Professor. She was fair and gave many chances to improve your grade (extra credit etc.) She also shared some of her research with us. I had her for two classes this semester, PSY 3300 and PSY 3316.

I got an A. Mandatory attendance. Her lectures are easy to keep up with and she is always so positive, it keeps your attention. She gives a study guide for tests and one small extra credit assignment. She's very open minded and friendly. The kind of professor you want to keep in touch with. You do need to read the chapters to make an A on tests.

Dr. Angulo is an absolutely awesome teacher. She walked into class everyday with a positive attitude and will always give you a smile! Her exams are not difcult but they are not easy. You do have to put some effort. She makes the class very fun and interactive.

This is one of the best professors at TxState. She goes out of the way for her students and will send out information on helpful things that do not even pertain to the course but strictly benefit the students. Her class is an easy A if you just show up and take good notes. It is very interactive and never boring.

I took this class online and got an A. She gives you powerpoints and a study guide. If you follow the study guide and powerpoints you will do just fine. Reading to supplement the study guide is always a good idea. She was very helpful through email and in person. Such a nice woman!

If you attend class, read, and do weekly extra credits you will get an A. Not easy peasy but doable. Class is interesting and interactive.

She is seriously the best professor. Always on time to class, always has a positive attitude, and makes you interested in psychology. So many extra credit opportunities. Have to read the textbook to make an A on the test, but study guides have everything you need. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Angulo is the best teacher I've ever taken at Texas State. She truly cares about her students and offers SO much extra credit. She brightens up the room when she walks in and is truly passionate about this class. Go to class, read the book, do the papers (one a week but it's completion and easy) and you're golden! She's the BEST!!!

Absolute best professor that a student can take for any psych class! Dr. Angulo truly cares about her students and will go above and beyond to make sure everyone understands the material. Her test were always fair and she made sure to cover all the material for the test. I highly recommend her! You will not regret taking her :)

Dr. Sarah Angulo is an amazing Psychology professor. Her class was fun and easy and I learned a lot at the same time. She never said attendance was mandatory, but she does require you to swipe in with your ID.

She give a lot of extra credit so theres no way you should not have an A. She gave EC if it was a bad weather day and people did not show up She made class fun because of her I changed my major like the 3rd wee of school. She gives study guides also

The best teacher at Texas State hands down! If I could I would retake the class just for the heck of it, Dr. Angulo is beyond helpful and makes class super interesting. Grades are pretty much a gimme besides the actual exams but they're pretty easy to if you actually study and read the book plus lecture notes. I think she deserves a bonus, awesome!

This class is the easiest class I have taken in college. She gives ridiculous amount of extra credit and her exams are online and are very easy and you have 2 days to take them, and theres no class when you have a test. Easy A+

One of the greatest professors ever! The exams are online, so you can download the book PDF file and search for things. She also provides ALOT of extra credit!!!! like 80 points. I loved this class! It is a freshman class and she understands so she helps freshman get used to college life. No homework or quizzes, just exams. They were online so you could use the books. In class notes + the book an easy A! She is also passionate about psychology so the lectures are interesting and she tries to make the info relevant.

Awesome Lectures!! Keeps class entertaining. Tests are all timed but all multiple choice. Only four tests and lots of easy extra credit! Going to lectures makes the tests easy, but if you don't go you can still pass from the book material. I skipped about the whole month at the end of the semester and still managed a b.

She is so sweet and she's so funny. The class itself is very easy. All assignments are graded on completion and she's very liberal with extra credit. Her tests are a little bit harder but not a problem if you complete the review and are familiar with the chapters she assigns.

Mrs. Angulo is a great professor and I highly recommend her. The lectures are clear and interesting. She is very helpful and goes out of her way to send additional notes and resources to students. She even holds graduate seminars and I got to speak with her one on one. Would definitely take this class again.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS CLASS!!! I was a bit hesitant to take this course online because Psychology just sounds scary but this class was a breeze! Her lectures are awesome, the powerpoints are very helpful, and she is even nice enough to give you a outline on what is going to be on the tests. TAKE HER CLASS! SHE'S AWESOME!

Dr. Angulo is one of the best professors at Texas State. Her lectures are amazing and you can tell she wants her students to grow and learn. She gives out extra credit but not too often. She's always there to help you during office hours. You have to read the book if you want to get a good grade on her exams.

Cuts class 5 mins early. Online tests. Gives review. Cares a lot about the course and information. Makes sure every question asked in class is addressed later. No attendance policy, but extra credit given randomly for showing up certain days or for attending workshops. Makes info easy and interesting (shows short videos). Has sense of humor.

Professor Angulo made my first semester into college amazing. Every day was another day of excitement to learn from this professor. She taught at an easy pace and made sure all her students understood her material and took one lesson with us after her course. If I must say anything, she is a brilliant professor and a must take.

There is alot of extra credit, just do them all. I almost got an A and would have if I did the extra credit :( Anyway she is a great speaker and made the class interesting.

Mrs Angulo is a great teacher and her class is super easy! She gives out so much extra credit and if you pass the tests you'll pass the class. Her tests are online and timed (45 minutes) and they can be difficult if you haven't studied so just be careful. Otherwise it's a super easy class!

Only met her a handful of times- but she is amazing.. Communication A+. Pretty easy class.. But the test are difficult.. so really study and use the study guides. You only have 45 min to take them, so open notes really are NOT an option.. trust me! Lots of extra credit and you have to post a lot in forums, but that's OK.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Honestly, you can just read the textbook and make an A in the class, plus it's also a good read if you're into that subject!). Otherwise, skimming will help for exams (which are online and SUPER easy). The extra credit can bump you an entire letter grade, so do it! I went to office hours one time and she was nothing but polite and helpful!!

Dr. A is amazing! She offers a lot of extra credit so do it all. Go to class because she lectures about things that aren't in the book. The test are online and are kinda tricky. The extra credit helps out so much. If you need help she will ask what can she do to help you. Take notes in class and go through the book (it's in the library).

I had a love/hate relationship with this class. The class has so many extra credit opportunities, that it almost seems condescending to the student populous to achieve on their own. I think Dr. A did a good job at lecturing, and the online tests were convenient. The guest lecture was awful (please nix her)... but overall enjoyed most the lectures.

Dr. Angulo is a great prof. Super encouraging and helpful whenever you need her. There are weekly reading quizzes + discussion post/response but they don't have to be lengthy. Besides that, there's 3 exams, none are cumulative, no final. She provides slides to her mini-lectures & you can use an old edition of the textbook. Laid back easy class!

Pretty straight forward class. Very easy to get an A! Discussion and response, quizzes and exams! and she gives extra credit which will help out if you miss any postings! Keep up with the assignments and you can get an A!!

This is the best professor Ive ever had. Dr. Angulo hands out so many extra credit opportunities and if you do not miss any classes you get +10 bonus points. Dr. A was a great Social Psych professor. She gave about 20-25 points of extra credit so if you bomb a test, there is a way to bring your grade back up! There is a paper due weekly over the topic covered in class. There are 3 tests including the final, and a paper due and everything is averaged the same. It's VERY hard to do bad in this class.

Tons of extra credit! You could skip all semester and still make an A if you read the book. Or if you show up to lecture you dont have to use the book at all. Either way, Dr. Angulo is the best.

I took this class online so obviously I never met the professor or TA but they are always so nice and helpful when I contacted them. Other than the 3 exams, there are quite a bit of quizzes and discussions but they aren't hard or time consuming at all. I recommend this class and professor to anyone. Do the extra credit when its offered!

Very clear, awesome professor. Gives ton of extra credit. Book is not mandatory, but helps a lot because she doesn't cover everything that's on the test in class. Cares for students. Always asking how we feel about it, if we need clarification, and if we have any questions or comments.

Professor Angulo is an amazing professor to take for an online class. She had everything posted ahead of time and even included videos of herself going through the notes to help everyone learn the material better. Had weekly forum questions you had to do but you were able to do all of them in one sitting if you wanted. Always kept us in the loop.

She wants to actually teach about psyc rather than bombard students with a truckload of work. I showed up to this class a maximum of 3 times and made an easy A. All exams including the final are online, one project, and so much extra credit given. She would rather intrigue students rather than stress them. Shes a real gem.

I didn't get to interact with her a lot, as she went on maternity leave in my semester. But she put together amazing lectures, funny and engaging. Tests were online for 48hr periods. Helpful reviews were available. Always helped us understand material and even things that were above expectations. One of the best professors Ive had.

Professor Angulo had great lectures and easy tests. As long as you show up and pay attention, you will pass. She offers beyond a generous amount of extra credit just for showing up to class and watching Ted Talks. Loved this class and Dr. Angulo! I will take her for any future classes if possible. Interesting lectures, few assignments and only 3 exams. Textbook does help understand the material better and its actually pretty interesting stuff. A lot of her exams are centered around lecture notes so you have to go to class and take notes to do well on exams.

Great professor. Lots of extra credit. Good lectures. Go to class and study the vocab words in the margins of the textbook and you're going to pass. Some test questions were a little tricky, but if you understand the vocab and listen in lectures, you're golden. Not an automatic A, but you actually learn something from this class.

Take this class! Its very fun and enjoyable. You should receive an A as long as you put in the effort. There are quizzes and discussions every week. You get to retake the quizzes for a higher grade. The tests are just like the review and quizzes. There should be no reason to do bad on them unless you dont study. Very enjoyable class!

I took this professor online and it was by far the most interesting and easy class. What was expected of us was clear and test were straight to the point and went hand and hand with the review. Take her if you get the chance !

She does not put up powerpoints, so be sure to go to every class. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Be sure to read the textbook cause she does test you over a small portion of it. Easy to talk too as well, especially after class.

Finished the whole class in about 2 weeks, but I often find myself going back to her lectures just to hear her talk. VERY passionate about psych. and is such a sweet and helpful soul. There are some test questions from the textbook but you can survive without them.

Dr. Angulo's class was extremely accommodating due to COVID-19. She gave a lot of extra credit and her lectures were easy to follow. Every lecture was posted online and she was very accessible through email. Her exams were opened note and you had 2 attempts. I highly recommend taking her, you won't regret it.

Wonderful professor. All lectures were recorded, which I loved. Weekly reflection papers was the bulk of the grades besides the tests. Class is extraordinarily easy if you watch the lectures, take notes, write the papers, and take the tests. Dr. Angelo is also a great lecturer and very smart. Would take again and again!

I took Prof Angulo fall 2020 and let me tell you I LOVED her class. She is so passionate about it all and goes into depth in her lectures. She is very understanding of COVID and stress and made it entirely possible to receive an A+ with lots of extra credit opportunities and quizzes/exams only on what she covered. 10/10 recommend!

Watch the lectures videos and take notes. It will help for the test. Tests are very easy as long as you took notes and have your textbook. Only need textbook for tests. Very easy to fall behind in this class, but you can easily get a good grade as long as you watch the lecture videos.

Id highly recommend taking psychology with her! The class is rather interesting and is rather easy. Each week wed only have an assignment or 2 due and The tests were open note and wernt timed so nothing to stress about. She also provides extra credit and is quick to reply to emails. 10/10 recommend

I never directly interacted with Angulo, but had her in an asynchronous online class that was so easy that I often forgot I was even taking the class. Her biggest grades are almost weekly reflection papers regarding the material you need to read, so you HAVE TO buy the textbook, and her exams, which were based on applying material from the textbook

Theres tons of extra credit which is nice. However, I didnt really feel like I had an incentive to try my hardest because I knew I would still be able to make an A. She is very caring and understanding that students are under lots of pressure and I think one the goals of this course is to relieve the stress of am I going to pass/fail or get A/B.

10/10 recommend taking her class! Its an easy pass as long as you watch lecture and complete weekly assignments. She is very understanding and is flexible if need be. Make sure to complete the research requirement as it is a part of your grade. Tests have no time limit and are pretty easy to succeed as long as you take notes. Extra credit provided.
