shes okay.. all she does is talk and talk.. hardly writes anything on the board so take as many notes as you can and study them for her tests n u'll be good.. she gave 2 term quizes, a map quiz .. the midterm and final the thing i dont like is she doesnt know anyones name, when she takes attendance she looks down n waits for u to say "here" so she
One of the most interesting classes I have attended through out the semester. However, if you think this is an easy professor, you are WRONG! She is a hard grader. So make sure to take lots of notes in class and read the book. Or take an easy professor :)
shes a really cool teacher but when it comes to the exams you need to do A LOT of studying. she wants you to think and know the things. shes not bad but she just got to stay on the topic. she jumps all over the place so take LOTS of notes.
great!!!!!!!!!
Shes okay.. She gives a map quiz, two definition quizes, a midterm, and a final. The first three quizzes are very easy, but the midterm and the final are a littel tough. You must know the material very well and you have to write alot on the exams to pass. i would recommend her only to those who like history.
this teacher is hard ..... she doesnt teach... you'll have to learn on your own from studying out of the text book......her test arent multiple choice at all.. everything you must know really well...she's like an honors teacher.... Her class if extremely hard!!! take it from me im an A student and im having prroblem in her class
DO NOT TAKE HER!! She's a GPA killer! I am also an A student who has made Dean's List 2 semesters in a row. She makes her exams much harder than they should be and she grades much harder than she should. I studied for the midterm straight out of the textbook and she almost failed me! Worst professor I have ever had!
she's going to kill you with homwork, there's always something to read! and alot!!! but as soon as you get the point it shouldnt be that hard!she likes to talk about everything and anything but the history subjects.over all she's a good one! if you're up for hard work-she's is perfect for you
Dr. Danielsson its a very nice professor, her lectures are interesting and she always tries to make them as clear as she can. Eventhough some people complaint about the exams, for history its only fair for the exams to be hard because there is a lot of things to cover. Besides the first exam is basically a guaranteed A. I would recommend her.
WORST PROFESSOR...For my entire 2 years at QCC I never got below B- and for HI-112 she give me C+. Thanks god i did good in all my other classes so my gpa is still over 3.3Please you will sorry you take her. I took her in Fall 2008.
I took the genocide/holocaust class with Professor Danielsson. This is her specialty. She is extremely interesting and is clearly able to impart her knowledge to the class. Weekly class writing/responses are required but this is good practice for a 4 year school. As long as you are willing to work and do the readings, you will benefit.
This Professor is the worst! She doesn?t like to be challenged in anything she says. You can?t ask any questions about her history class because she will get upset. How in world students supposed to learn without asking any questions? What ever!!!
she was good, pretty easy, no reading, no homework, no papers, just come to class listen to the lectures, take notes, and all her tests are based on her lectures...
So far out of all the professors that i've ever had in QCC, she's probably the most difficult professor to understand..i mean, she talks about one thing and then the next minute, she's speaking about something else...It's pretty complicated overall...
she is horrible. She talks alot about craps. she never hand out papers that help for test. she doesn't even use the board. To take test, you have search the information by urself. So unprepared prof. never came on the time, useless lectures.
WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!! DON"T EVEN take her class AT ALL!!!
I am not extremely interested in European History. However, the fact that anyone could consider Danielsson difficult is just ludacris. You must be an idiot to fail this class, and Queensborough seems to have a surplus of them.
you can fail her unless you're really stupid in organizing yourself her lecture self-explainatory fair grader. She just the complete package very funny, spend time aside if needed. I really recommended her I am not history major but she make it so easy. SHE'S DANM GOOD period/
This is a veyr interesting class. Her lectures are really indept and I enjoyed every minute of her lessons. This class is not a walk in the park, there is work involved, however, it is such an engaging course that the material that has to be studied is very interesting.
worst professor ever!
If you come even close to failing this class, I assume your mother smoked or drank while carrying you in the womb. This woman has a wonderful sense of humor and makes things ridiculously easy.
I just wonder why do students blame their stupidness faillure on her. One of the EASIEST on campus. She is an easy grader, and fun teacher take her all year long.
To me she was extremely EASY...she does talk A LOT!! the test were really hard but some how i managed to pass with a B+ ..Basically all u have to do to pass is just write a lot and make it sound like u know what ur talkin about..and shes EXTREMELY HOT!!
First of all, she I'd NOT hot! She wears massive amounts of makeup and wobbles around in 4' heals. She love what she teaches, but I didn't find her rambling helpful. I did well in the class because I read the text book, her lectures were pretty bad. She thinks really highly of herself, and it's annoying.
She doesn't review what is going to be on the test and her tests are confusing. She's a great professor but when she is making her tests she makes each of the students take a different test. I think it is so people won't cheat but her tests are confusing. You just have to study ther notes.
this professor is good but you have to read her notes and the textbook.dont take this class if you are lazy to write a lot.all her examos are essays
If you aren't capable of what Prof. Danielsson refers to as "real college work," then don't bother. She will make you read a lot; she will make you write a lot; and she expects the writing to be solid. If this is nothing new for you, then she is a great professor: Very interesting, with an attention grabbing lecture style.
This professor is easy if you already know a lot about the course....She is very difficult to understand. Lectures a lot and is not clear to understand. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS if you need a history. Professor Peter Bales and Mark Van Ellis is better.
if you are looking for a proffesor to learn, dont take this proffessor!!!! hard grader doesn't care about her students and is very ignorant she thinks she knows but not really.another thing shes not hot at all is the exsive make up that makes her look ok
If u want ur gpa to drop horribly take her..im an A student & I work & study hard..she only gives essays for tests & stresses u hav 2 b "analytical" but it has to b HER way so if it's not u get low grades no matter how much u study & write on the tests DO NOT TAKE HER
Her class is difficult but passable if you work hard. She's not very clear in her lectures and can be a bit condescending. I'd recommend taking her class if you want a challenge but avoid it if you don't want to risk your GPA. Also, the class only covers western ancient history, not global. I got an A but I still feel like I didn't learn much.
I thought I would fail, but this course turned out to be ridiculously easy. All you need to do is study the terms and read the text book. I got a B minus though, but you could get an easy A if you study hard
she made history very cofusing. her teaching is very different from what im used to. she isnt very clear in her lectures and talks way to much while expecting us to copy notes on her slide ( which btw has nothing to do with what she is saying) she loves what she does but can care less about the students. dont take her class.
Great professor
She knows her stuff, no doubt. However, she is quite egocentric and lacks the craft to deliver her lectures in a coherent and cogent manner than allows student grasp, and enjoy, the course's content. I'm thankful for professors like Danielsson, nonetheless, she reminds me of how important it is to appreciate other professors.
Professor Danielsson is an amazing professor. She is not an easy grader but is a lenient grader, you get the grade you deserve. Her coursework for her History of Genocide and History of the Holocaust class are writing intensive and reading intensive. She challenges you to make a good argument and prepares you to be a good writer. NOT AN EASY A.
I took writing intensive class with her this June. We watched 12 movies and wrote a one page paper about it. She is a very nice professor and she is very helpful but you have to watch the movie in order to write your paper because her questions are different then the reviews you will find on the internet. she is an easy A if you take interest.
TRUST ME.. stay away. you will regret it.
Great professor. Great class.
Good professor, easy class. Participation is rewarded so make sure to be really involved.
She is the best of the best...easy easy easy!!! Recommend to everyone taking history!
Very good professor she was great! She was crystal clear about everything in the course I wish there were more professors like her in other subjects!
exams are everything, if you fail one, then you fail. She rarely use textbook.
Very nice person and good teacher. Not an easy class, but not overly hard if you're a history major
She its the best teacher there is i wish there was more professor like her. Her classes cover alot of material but what history class doesn't. She knows how to teach and keep your attention. Her lectures are fun. Attendance its not mandatory but you better come or you will fail. Her test are not hard if you study. Only get two test and one paper.
HORRIBLE!! her grading style is insane if you fail one test you may as well withdraw because your DONE unless you ace the next one. oh by the way there was only 3 test one 10% the others 45% of your grade. its like she forgot what it was like o be a student. she jumps around when shes talking about different things as if she gets distracted.
History is not easy to learn because you have to read and understand the events. She does a great job at explaining those events so take notes for each lecture. Listen carefully. Just write down as much as you can in the lectures. Read the handouts from blackboard. Learn the terminologies as best as you can Be as extensive as you can with the exams
She has her slides with few info and she just sits down and explains. She rarley puts things up on blackboard. She doesnt give out studysheets, homework! Before a miditerm or final she just gives you the topics to study and your on your own! You study your own notes so take notes! Easily can fail! Dont recommend this class! F!!
Wonderful professor,I have learned a lot from her. Pay attention you will get an A. She makes herself clear history is not easy you got to pay attention in her lecture.
Honestly if you see her and write paragraphs for every term and pay atention and show that your giving effort youll be fine on the other hand she is NOT an easy A and very intimidating
I would not recommend this professor. She is not easy and her exams are really hard. You have to listen and pay close attention in class because all the information she gives you is all you have. She does not use the book that is required for the class. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!.
I have had the utmost pleasure in taking her class and to this day she is the only professor that has left me with a deep love of history. Not only are her classes beautifully lectured, She takes you to another world. You must work in her class including at home readings, but she is always available and i believe she is the best history professor.
worst professor ever do not take her if you want your GPA to get dropped a few points. you have two past two tests in her class which are extremely hard.
Just goes through power point slides and the "notes" you take are anything that she says more than on what is seen on the board or power point slides. She grades you heavily on tests more than attendance.
She is tough, however with that said she is one of the best professors I have ever met. Her lectures are engaging and stimulating. I literally have never enjoyed listening to a lecture until her class. I find myself waiting for my other class to be over because I enjoy her class so much. To clarify this is just for a gen ed req. not a history maj.
Its really hard to get engaged with her lectures. Her fast past lectures makes it hard to get the valuable notes. At the end of the day its your fault if you fail.
no, just no.
If you're not a good note taker, don't take her class. She only puts up a few slides and the rest is up to you to quickly write down things she mentions. However, I absolutely loved her lectures and looked forward to class. If history bores you but you're willing to put in the work, take her, she tells interesting stories and explains events well
Never again, I struggled this whole semester with her. So glad its over.
I didn't like the way she has her lecture set up. If you find History to be boring she is going to make it even more boring! She talks a lot and shows key points on the slide shows. The rest is up to you to take GREAT notes. She makes you know all the terminology listessay questions, because you won't know which one she is going to test you on.
She was a very tough professor. She's open minded & puts you in charge of showing up , doing the work etc. If you read and do as she asks you will pass easily she isnt a bad professor
One of the toughest and easiest classes I have ever taken, put in a lot of work outside the classroom. GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS. That will save you from making mistakes on understanding the materiel. Run your essay, run your terminologies by her, and she will fill in the gaps you did not notice, and give you really great feedback that helps you out!
do not take this professor. she makes history seem as if shes been there and makes it seem like everything youve ever learned is a lie and also says that the textbook she requires has lies. very hard 2 test 45% each and map test 10% which is easy. she gives no credit for particpating so just stay quiet no extra credit .. everything is just test
This professor lectures and gives 3 test. The first test is a map quiz you have to remember the word map the names and places. The next is a midterm and then a final nothing else. You have to remember terminology as well make she everything you remember is what she says . Does not give extra credit. Would not recommend her but good luck if you do.
She's a great professor and story teller, and makes the material interesting. The only thing is you MUST right down her lectures word for word, she doesn't want googled definitions on the test. You can go up to her and she will read over your definitions and essays and will give you feedback. As long as you work hard, you will pass, no surprises
One of the best professors ive ever met. You have to write down the important things she says like dates and such. Most people complain but shes really clear and this is college she doesnt have to write anything on the board. Lectures were short and interesting. Very good professor.
she believes she is a dictator!! very hard class, a lot of in class writing essays and doesn't over material very much. the class had two 10 page papers and multiple in class essays and 1 map test. nice lady but very full of herself.
Okay, Professor Danielsson lectures are very intriguing and she is obviously very passionate about history. However, she moves WAY to fast during lectures. You either keep up or get completely left behind, I don't recommend her class unless you want your GPA to drop.
BEWARE! If you're someone like me who absolutely needs a professor to be crystal clear and likes to have a study guide for exams, this professor is not the one for you! Her lectures are long and boring, nor does she give out study guide and is extremely OBSCURE with what topics to study for. Homework is minimal.
she is a very sarcastic professor and can also come off as a indimidating professor!! to be able to receive extra help from her you have to meet with her during office hours
I took this course out of personal interest. she gave quite a bit of reading each week. some readings were really interesting and informative, and other readings knocked you out so quickly that someone might as well have had a rag full of alcohol pressed against your face. she was a really tough grader, and she poorly explained the material.
Don't take her class. I took her class and gave my best ..i was hoping for a B because i knew i did good in the class but she gave me a D which annoyed me.
First test is to memorize the 58 countries and bodies of water, you basically have point and shoot. She doesn't let you ever record her lectures, she also doesn't write on black, well sometimes, when her laser runs out of energy. She uses a mic to give you the modern history. Honestly, you just have to read.
She is not a very good professor, she bases her entire grade for the class on a total of three tests. She does not give you much review material and what she does give you, majority of it is not on the test. The first test requires you to memorize 80 countries, but on the test she only used about 30. I would keep her as a last resort.
Expect to read and write a lot. She may seem daunting at first, but you have to study and go to her office hours. She is looking for specific answers on her exam and its best if you study and bring your materials to her office and discuss them with her. Do not use google because it will screw you over. This is not an easy A, but it's possible.
HORRIBLE TEACHER, test are hard, lectures are not clear and she soo boringgggg
She's such a tough grader and her 3 tests are all essays. She knows her material but she doesn't explain it clearly enough because she talks SO fast. She talks for 2 hrs straight with barely any notes to give the class, only writing a few things here and there. I wouldn't recommend her especially if you wanna boost your GPA.
If you wanna pass her class, be sure you tape record her lectures. She's a fast talker and most of the material covered on her exams are not based the textbook but rather what she's says in class.
Very challenging. I learned a lot from her class and the lectures are always interesting. Its good to have a challenging class sometimes because it pushes you to accomplish more. She doesnt believe in muliple choice exams. Every test consists of terms and essays. No HW other than reading.
Horrible grading criteria *only 3 tests *. She knows her stuff like the back of her hand no doubt about that. but for God's sake can she at least slow down on the talking/lecture, give us better notes to copy or let us record her lectures. DONT MISS A SINGLE DAY OR YOU WILL BE LOST IN THE SAUCE.
She talks the whole class period with hardly any slides. She gives 3 tests during the semester, sounds nice but the questions she say that will be on the test won't be there 90% of the time. It'll be 6 or more questions you should know from High School. Some people don't have good memory and she doesn't recap on those topics. If you take her, GG.
Don't get me wrong this is a TOUGH course. You cannot miss one lecture, if you do you will be LOST. She doesn't use the textbook but her exams rely solely on the lectures in class. She gives minimum notes, you just have to listen. She only gives midterm (45%), final (45%), and map quiz (10%). Only take the class if your ready to take lots of notes.
Very fair no surprises
worst prof in qcc by far for me she is not a fair grader and she think she knows it all and expects you to as well. dont bother with her not worth time or gpa beware dont take her i had to drop her
honestly she isn't so bad. She is very fair and would help you if she need help. Dont get me wrong she has her rude moments but overall she isn't a bad professor and is always willing to help if needed
First of all, this professor is RUDE. She grades sooo hard, and only bases your grade off three tests. I hated her class.
Well i ended up dropping her class because her teaching style wasn't for me. i believe she is very intelligent but she doesn't give notes and her notes are not clear. I took too many classes to be able to handle a class taught this way but she does know what she's talking about. really smart just wish she has powerpoint with more notes and detail.
You really need to take good notes, not easy class. you really work hard to get A.
She's a great professor I actually enjoyed listening to her lectures! There is a map exam ,there is a midterm, and a final thts it! She's actually easy than other professors and don't even try using your phones, laptop and smart watches in class she is really strict on tht and she will catch you right away! Good luck:)!!!
Tough but great Professor. She has a great appreciation for History. She is a no nonsense type of Professor. She does not take attendance, if you miss a class you probably wont do well on the exams. She covers a lot in one class. She gives three exams; you get your final grade off of those exams. Visit her during office hours for help on the exams
When took her for HI-112 as a summer course, she is an okay professor but she her teaching style is non- helpful because she talks very fast 99.9% of time based on the topics. My suggestion maybe low key record her or try to write as much as you can memorize down and ask a peer in class to copy their notes write it down and study good for test.
I would only recommend this professor and her class IF you're an auditory learner because all she does is talk, talk and talk very fast, jumps from one subject to another and her notes are very minimal and unclear. If you're not an auditory learner, then drop the class because it's not worth losing your sanity throughout the entire boring lectures.
Prof Sarah is a very lazy prof. She doesnt even write things on the board and all she does is just lecture and talks super fast. Personally Im a visual learner so I like seeing notes on the board to copy and she doesnt even have a lot of them. She has 3 exams the whole year 1) Map Exam 2) Midterm 3) Final.
This is not a class you want to take if you don't know ANYTHING about genocides. I strongly recommend learning a bit of every genocide within this class before even reading the books. It is a writing intensive class so be prepared to write a lot. She is extremely knowledgeable and she communicates that very easily.
Her lectures are conducted in a very professional way, she presents a cohesive flow of historical events and she does not repeat herself. That means that if you miss one or more classes you will find it very hard to catch up with her- so be there and you will be fine. 3 very simple tests: 1 World Map(very easy), and 2 small essays. Inspirational!
she makes you watch 2 movies and read a book for each genocide and you have to write a 4-5 paged paper on it. not hard at all, but i will say reading the books are annoying but try to skim through it and you'll be fine, if you like to read that part will be cake for you. no exams just 4 papers. not a bad class you could def pass with an A.
I have to say this is the worst professor at qcc. Ive been at qcc for 2 years and graduating this semester and never has a worse teacher. She only gives 3 tests that make up for whole grade one is a map quiz I got 100 on and the other two were essays that I failed. Shes extremely rude and rubs in your face that she has tenure. Just done take her
Shes a amazing professor, her classes are very interesting and makes you pay total attention to what shes saying, I would totally recommend her
She knows her history, her lectures are viably interesting; for her summer course she covers topics fast, however always checked to see if the class was following along, 2 tests for summer, midterm, final, her lectures are the basis of these tests, so make sure you go and dont miss a day, overall not an easy a but not difficult as well.
I took her over the summer. I hate history but she made it interesting. 2 exams, the exams are basically the lectures. miss a class, you won't be able to catch up, you don't need to read the book, just take good notes from the lecture, also take notes from others. Best prof. you could take for history!
Literally the best professsor at QCC! She is so sweet and her lectures are amazing. I am taking her again in HIS 290 and i love her class!! Definitely come to class, take ALOT of notes and write 3 good essays and you will pass!! Just do what you gotta do and you will pass
I'm a history major and have always had amazing grades in History, this professor is TERRIBLE , I was taking HIST-281 with her and instead of going over the History of Nationalism & its different theories she boasted about how great she is and how many books she has written and how she studied in Cambridge for a semester, absolutely TERRIBLE prof
She's a terrible person honestly. I studied so hard for an exam and she gave me a 0 for it because she accused me of cheating. My friends mother who's a retired teacher saw me study with her son. She's just an obnoxious individual who likes to put people down and stroke her ego. STAY AWAY!!!!!
This professor needs an ego check. She disparaged the institution of QCC multiple times. Im sure QCC would be far from pleased to know that one of their own is making such statements during lecture. I found professor Danielsson to be unforgiving, inappropriately rude to students and harsh. She also boasted quite a bit about herself. Not humble.
I have never felt the need to rate a professor before but she is something else she is extremely rude like beyond rude she was basically saying I was dumb I told her I was having a problem and she basically told me to figure it out my self. Everything was an essay not a single test not everyone is good at writing essays all I can say is DO NOT TAKE
I believe professor Sarah Danielsson is the best professor in QCC(specially for History classes). Online class is never easy and I found history is a hard class in QCC as computer science major. However, professor Sarah made it simpler.
I am very bad in history but her lectures are very informative. You just have to listen to the lectures and take good notes and trust me you will get a good grade.
Please DO NOT TAKE HER. This professor is one of the worth that I have taken at qcc, and she won't answer any email, her lectures are two hours long just to answer a couple of questions at the end.
Although this was an online class, I really disliked her as a person. She was very lazy and rude. She gives all these assignments but yet takes the longest time to grade them. She's not helpful when asking for help. I will never take her again. And I do not recommend her either. I would give her a 0 rating if I could.
She talk 3x times faster than normal people and she doesn’t upload powerpoint to blackboard and her exam is super hard to take
if you don't want to dream about genocide during sleeping, then don't take this course lmao. There are too many texts with 30-40 pages to read and too many documentaries to watch, and after you should write the essays which at least must contain 1500 words. The professor herself is so tough grader and always got the attitude. Just don't take her.
simply, DO NOT TAKE HER. 6 papers to write for each genocides, and too many texts to read. and most importantly, she is so rude. hardly responds on emails. don't recommend her. I wish I didn't take her class.
She gives a lot of work, and grades extremely strictly. She has the audacity to give 3 movies, 2 documentaries, and 3 books per assignment and take a bunch of points off because you made a tiny mistake. If you take her class you're asking for a C even if you try as hard as possible. Do yourself a favor and take a different class or professor.
if I could curse I would, It is very hard to take this class. 3 tests no extra credit and no powerpoints shared. The lectures are interesting. You can study like crazy but the professor does not once clearly talk about what she expects. GOOD LUCK IF YOU TAKE THIS CLASS.
Hist112 summer course (4 weeks) was able to read the syllabus before the summer term started. Professor expects a 1000 word minimum, 5 paragraph essay a day for 4 weeks total. Note i even emailed professor and replied nonchalantly, this class is not even writing intensive. Good thing I dropped before summer term started. Save your summer dudes!
she gave us a whole video about 1.5h long to watch and write a 1000 words essay based on some questions! how you expect us to write a whole essay without not being able to be me while writing it . she said i wrote some stuff those was weird. do not take her she is arrogant,
WORST PROFESSOR EVER IM SO DISGUSTED AND UPSET ON HOW UNPROFESSIONAL SHE IS. SHE NEVER RESPONDS TO EMAILS UNLESS YOU REPEATEDLY SEND AN EMAIL NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET HER ATTENTION. THERES NO WAY OF PLEASING HER AT ALL. SHE WILL GIVE U A 0 ON A ASSIGNMENT AND WONT EVEN TELL YOU WHY ITS A 0 YOU HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF.
Not sure why she has so many bad reviews, just do the work and guarantee you will get a good grade. She is not a harsh grader at all. The class was also very interesting, I learned a lot.
DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. WORST PROFESSOR EVER I HOPE SHE GETS FIRED FROM HER LACK OF UNPROFESSIONALISM. DOES NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS AT ALL WHEN YOU HAVE A CONFUSION. ACCUSED ME OF PLAGIARISM TWICE WHEN I DIDNT AND WHEN I ASKED HER TO SHOW ME PROOF ON HOW I PLAGIARISED SHE IGNORED ME. DONT TAKE HER
She's a bit blunt, which isn't a problem with me. I enjoyed her lectures! very imformative and interesting, i can see why some don't like her though as she tends to be very casual and may come off as non-caring/rude and boring to those not interested in history. I personally recommend her as long as you come to every lecture & TAKE NOTES!!!
She's a decent teacher. Her lectures are very interesting and are not boring. However, there are only three exams for the whole course, which I did not really like. An A is possible I reviewed my notes every day for an hour and that's the only reason I passed the course. If you are not a fan of studying a lot, then do not take her class.
There was a total of 11 assignments, which were films with questions. There were 2 lectures we had to summarize with 800 words. Everything counts, missed 3 assignments and failed. Other wise it's not that bad
Professor Danielson is an okay professor. I took her HIST 112 course during the spring semester and I can say that there is a lot of memorization to do for her exams. We were only graded on 3 exams the whole semester and one extra credit assignment she threw out there for those who wanted to do it.
not recommended. she fails you no matter what.
I was a bit worried about this class because during the zoom she holds at the beginning of the course she said that her class is heavy and shouldn't really be taken online. She said the material is better suited for a lecture class - she was partially correct. But, I LOVED this class. She provides all of the reading material -it is so interesting.
WORST PROFESSOR IN QUEENSBOROUGH, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS UNLESS YOU LIKE WRITING 11 ESSAYS IN 3 WEEKS, 1000 WORDS EACH, AND STILL GET A BAD GRADE. SHE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO PASS. NOTHING IS BEING TAUGHT WHEN YOU SPEAK THAT FAST.
She records herself speaking for 2 hours, expecting us to learn something and write a 1000-page essay on each thing. NO STUDENT HAS THAT MUCH TIME IN ONE MONTH
Worst Professor ever! I worked hard on her lectures and she gave me an F. Also, she accused me of using AI. I saw another review saying exactly the same that she accused that person of using AI, that it's a 100 legit. I have a lot of knowledge in history, when I told my family about being accused of AI in a HISTORYclass everybody started to laugh.
The material is heavy but fascinating. Lots of reading and writing, but if you stay on top of it, you'll learn a lot. Unstuck ai was a big help for prepping. The professor can be tough but fair - just do the work and you'll likely get a solid grade.
I'm not sure why there are negative reviews about this professor because she is truly one of the best! Her creative teaching methods made the subject much easier to understand and enjoyable. Incorporating movies into the lessons helped bring the material to life and kept the class engaged. I highly recommend
She is a difficult professor. She is challenging to deal with. BEWARE!!!!
Lecture was too long and most times didn't fit my schedule also would've preferred some online work
The most unprofessional and petty professor I've ever taken. She gave me a bad grade on one of the papers and would not elaborate on why. She would clip her toe nails in her 2 hour lectures and speak too fast. Accused me of cheating and then when I proved to her I wasn't she was quiet. Avoid this professor like the plague. You've been warned.

Avoid this professor!! expects you to write 1000 word essays and if you write 950 she would give you a 0. gives same feedback THE ABSOUT WORST!
There are 2 tests worth 40% of your grade. She gives out a terminology list every week with around 5 to 10 words that you have to write a paragraph for each one. Lecture heavy you cant google any of the words they have to come from the lectures. Her feedback for assignment's could be better. Try and avoid this class.
