This is my second time taking the class...I wish I would have had taken it the first time with Sarah. Her explanations and examples make the it so much more understandable. You still have to study, it is not easy but she is willing to help! If you have to take the class take her. I never liked science before, now i do.

I have taken many classes at GRCC, Sarah is definately one of the best profs I have had here. Very knowledgable in biology and teaches in a visual way. Easy to understand, wonderful humor, great illustrations. Get the coursepack, very helpful. Tests are put together fairly. Best science teacher I've ever had.

She's a really nice person. I won't say her class is easy but she will work with you. When she gets excited she sometimes talks really fast but she will slow down if you bring it to her attention.

Course pack/notes really help, & ask for help when you're unsure of something. She CLEARLY wants you to get it & she's passionate about the subject. She is the best, her teaching skills are perfect. How can one not get an A & love BIO after listening to her? Do your homework, pay attention, don't skip class, ask questions!!! It's that easy.

It is obvious that Professor Krajesski really enjoys teaching and loves biology. She makes class interesting and explains material in a way that is easy to understand. I recommend her 100% her both lab and lecture.

BI101 LEC: Sarah is an excellent professor! She hands out plenty of extra credit and the homework is simple and really helps you through the class. Study from the homework for her tests and you'll do fine! I failed Bio in H.S. but got a B in her class (7 years later). Loved her!

Mrs. K is the sweetest and most helpful instructor I've had. I had no prior interest in biology, but the way she incorporated science in the elementary class kept me interested. She assigns a large work-load, but it's all so helpful. The class was really fun & I wish she taught other pre-education science classes!

I absolutely loved her! She does give out a good amount of homework, but it's nothing you can't handle! You get opportunities to teach, which were great. I did really well in this class and I enjoyed it, even though i thought I didn't like Biology. She's such a great teacher. Take one of her classes now, you'll love her!

This teacher is wonderful! You can tell she loves biology and therefor makes it very easy for you to understand. There are plenty of projects and homework assignments to raise your grade if you don't do well on the tests too. She is on the the best teachers GRCC has.

If you need to take biology 101 you need to sign up for Sarah! I loved the combined lecture and lab. At first I couldn't sign up for her class so I changed my class code to 'education' and I then I could! The class still transfers as BI 101 even though it is "for teachers". Having the lecture and lab together is SO much better! I learned a ton!

I took Biology 101 with Professor K on-line and had her as a lab teacher to. There was a lot to learn but Professor K was really helpful and gave lots of good examples of different ways to learn the material. If u take a hybrid make sure you get her!

Sarah is a big help if you are willing to learn in her class. I kept up on the reading and also stayed on top of the online homework and it was a breeze. I recommend taking BIO 101 with her if you get to!

She is a great teacher. I have always struggled with science and I took Bio-101 Education. She is such a nice person and was always willing to help students. She is really encouraging too. If you struggle with science I'd recommend this class. There are a lot of fun activities that really break the class up. I would highly recommend this class.

Took this class on-line and had Sarah for lab. I was worried because I had not taken a online class before but she was very helpful. If you have to take a Biology take her class!

Took this class for educators even though I'm not an education major. Awesome class! So much supplementary material that my grade was thoroughly cushioned for the tests. Since we had so much extra material, we didn't have too much time to really study and understand the basics and tests were difficult... but well cushioned. Definitely recommend!

Prof K was the best on-line prof I had at GRCC! The class was not easy but the homework helped. She posts lots of videos/ powerpoints and animations that really helped me. She was always very friendly and willing to stay after lab to help.

I had professor Krajewski for my lab class. She is an amazing teacher, clearly one of the top 10% at GRCC. She patiently explains things again if not grasping a concept, has high expectations but also helps you reach them, & instills confidence.

Sarah is the best teacher I have ever had throughout all my years in school. She is energetic, fun, clear about her expectations, very helpful, and makes the class very interesting. I took the Biology class for teachers, and as a Freshman I already feel more prepared because of her class!

I took this class online and went in for the labs. I was really nervous about taking the class online but Miss K was great! I would recommend taking her class online and then sign up for her lab. She is very helpful and willing to help you in lab on questions you may have.

Sara Krajewski was both my biology lab and biology online teacher. I appreciated that she provided a variety of ways to learn the material online without busy work. She was very friendly and upbeat in lab, excellent professor! She was flexible and willing to stay after class to help students who didn't understand. Id recommend her both.

i took Biology 101 online with Professor Krajawski for both online and lab. i would recommend taking her for both. Online she posted all the assignments tuesdays of each week then i had a week to complete them. she was very helpful in lab and responded to all my emails with helpful hints/examples. id also recommend going to her office hours.

I really enjoyed her class. She has a very upbeat personality, but if you don't understand something be sure to asks questions! She does review a lot, and we do a lot of activities in this class. Make sure you read your textbook, the textbook is the test. (Kind of.) HA.

I adored Prof K! Super fun and helpful prof that made biology a little more bearable. She gives you plenty of opportunities to excel in her class! The material in itself is a little challenging at times but the practice tests on Mastering Biology help a lot! Would take a class with her again definitely.

No rating can compare to how wonderful of a professor Sarah is. Her class caters to all learning styles, and has made me want to teach Science! Her lectures are wonderful and funny. She is caring and her class provides life applications for teaching. Class is not challenging if you pay attention and show interest.

Pretty much show up, do the labs and go home. She does like to give a little quiz at the start of each class, but just study the previous lab for maybe 5 minutes. Sometimes her class gets repetitive, but as long as you have a good table group then you'll be fine. Also, buy the lab book! T

Took for my online lecture and my lab professor which helped a lot. Labs are quizzed weekly on previous week- very hard to not get an A just show up and listen. Online lecture, all online quizzes and exams are exactly like the quizzes. Helpful, not hard if you study and put in work. Would recommend to others, makes biology fun and interesting

BEST PROF EVER! I WAS WORRIED ABOUT TAKING A SCIENCE CLASS BECAUSE I'VE NEVER BEEN GOOD AT SCIENCE. SHE MADE CLASS WAS ALWAYS INTERESTING AND EVEN FUN. SHE IS FULL OF ENERGY AND FRIENDLY. THERE IS A LOT OF WORK, LIKE TEACHING LESSONS BUT IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

I took Sarah's BIO 101 lecture online, &had her as my lab professor. She is extremely caring and has really good energy. She explains things great and is willing to go the extra mile for students. 1 time I forgot to take a test in the testing lab and she let me take it a day late. Highly recommend her. Wish I would have taken the lecture in person

I had Dr K in Bi 101 and liked it so much I signed up for BI 110. I m a returning student and have never taken an online class but I really liked it. I went to Dr. Ks office hours a few times to get help leaning how to navigate the online homework. She is super sweet and helpful. She is quick to answer emails and has even called me on the phone.

Best online class Ive taken. Interesting topics and didnt assign busywork . Assignments were posted a week before due, tests were online. Prof was willing to help and was understanding when My computer didnt cooperate.

I took this as an online class. Professor was good about getting back to me when I had questions. Easy to access her during office hours. Need to make sure you read the chapters and do her study guides for the tests. Also Mastering Biology will become your friend and tool for tests. She does curve tests which is helpful. Professor also cares.

Sarah was easily my favorite professor at GRCC so far. Does everything she can to make sure you pass. Gives extra credit opportunities. Participation points for showing up almost daily. Her lectures are long but she puts her notes on BB for you to study from. Tests are multiple choice with one or two short answers.

Examples in class were amazing she taught me so much about teaching and biology. I used to hate biology until I took this class. A PHENOMENAL teacher!

I took this as an online course and it was structured very much like independent study. Read the textbook on your own, do the weekly homework, take the tests on campus. It's on you to reach out with any questions. She's accessible and responsive when you do have questions. Sometimes grades would take a while to come in, but not a huge deal.

I had her for lab and at first she seemed stuck up and angry but once you get to know her shes a sweetheart! Loved her class and made a bunch of friends. One of my favorite classes I've ever taken for sure! 10/10 would recommend her.

I wish I could take this class all year! She is so kind and excited about getting YOU excited about science!! The projects were fun and she offered clear directions and guidance. First day determines your lab group so get there early and choose wisely! My group was amazing and we had so much fun with the labs! Take this class!

Professor Krajewski is great professor who I would recommend to any student. She organizes the class in an easy to follow format . The homework, combined with the powerpoints and study guides helped me focus on the most important points from the text book. exams in person made me learn it because I knew I couldnt look it up.

Professor Krajewski is an excellent professor. Every day when I come into lab, she greats the students with a smile and so much positivity. It would be almost impossible not to have fun in lab with her as a professor. She also makes good use of time in the lab, giving us enough time to complete the lab, but also understand the concepts.

BI 110 just like BI 101 but without the lab. Class shows real life examples on how biology is used in the real world. She did a great job showing examples and videos about it. Pretty easy class though, only homework you get are on launchpad.

I really am appreciating this teacher she's the best at teaching biology and cares very much about you as a person and family thanks a lot for everything. god bless.

Took the lecture portion online and it went well. The class consisted of a few blackboard assignments, mindtap assignments, and 5 tests including the final. Tests were taken at the academic testing center. I would definitely recommend studying the mindtap assignments, since some questions are taken from there. She is a great professor overall!

She is great! The class was very straightforward. The lab consisted of doing the labs with the people in our tables. Grading is also straightforward, 10 points for each quiz and 5 for participating and going to lab. Quizzes are easy if you study. As long as you review what was done in lab there is a very low possibility of failing them.

I loved Dr.K's class! Her teaching style is lovely! She makes learning biology and how to teach biology fun. If you show up for class, pay attention, and put in the effort to do well, you will. She offers multiple opportunities for extra credit, gives good feedback, and wants to see everyone succeed! If I could give her more stars, I would.

I would definitely recommend taking this professor to all my friends. I looked forward to going to her class everyday. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students and will take extra time out of her day to make sure her students understand the topics. 10/10 class and would love to have her again in the future.

Dr. Krajewski is very attentive to her students. She allowed me to resubmit the first lab, without be having to ask, because misunderstood the concept. I also appreciate that she provides a comment in the grade book with almost every z assignment. LI would recommend her and the class.

For an online Biology Lab, I was amazed at how well structured and organized this class was. The team of Bio profs did the video labs together, which was very useful. Professor Krajewski was easy to reach with questions and very clear on expectations. It's not a hard class, as long as you meet deadlines and do the work.

Took this class during COVID. Surprised how easy it was. I liked how the class was set up. Weekly assignments/lectures posted no meeting times. I met with Dr K on Google Meet a few times to go over concepts, that was not required but it helped. I had her for lab too. Work was basically watching the labs and answering questions. I recommend her.

Absolutely phenomenal teacher. Although I had very few interactions with this instructor in my online course, the interactions I did have were pleasant and helpful. She really wants you to learn and grow and she is willing to help you if you're willing to do the work.

Strengths I would have to say that she is very passionate that everyone knows the materials before moving on. She helps by incorporating games, group work, and simply just explaining it further. her other strengths to me would be the way she communicates with her students. She is very responsive even on days that we don't have class and weekends.

Dr. Krajewski was a great professor. The class I took was a hybrid, and she added a lot of information to help understand the material in the book. The labs were informative and entertaining. Great class.

Offers some different extra credit assignments. I didn't do them but I didn't end up needing them. Labs are pretty low budget but they're easy.

The best professor I have ever had! I took BI 101E which was online and had a lab component once a week. Make sure you attend the labs because you won't get the participation points if you miss the lab. She cared about you and wanted you to do your best. I wish I could have her as my professor for my entire college journey! Totally recommend her!

Professor Krajewski is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. Her blackboard is a little bit unorganized, but if you reach out she will get back to you very quickly. I recommend taking her online lecture and her lab for BI101. Her lecture course requires a lot of reading, but there's usually only one or two assignments per week.

She's a great lab teacher! Tells you what needs to get done for the day and lets you do your work with others and if you need help no need to hesitate to ask

Took Dr. Krujewski for lab and online and I totally recommend her. She does a good job teaching the material in lab and connecting it to online. She has online video lectures that are short and helpful but not required. Online has reading quizzes and short answer homework assignments. The class was interesting and not too much work.

If you have the opportunity to take a class with Professor Krajewski, do it. She doesn't do lectures for online classes, just reading, study guide, and unit tests. I especially recommend her labs, she doesn't have any tests, just weekly quizzes. Attendance is mandatory.

Had her for lecture and lab; I would only take her again if I absolutely had to. For online class her BB was a mess and she never removed assignments from past years, so it was confusing. She also made it a point to reach out to her for anything, but the times I did email her she never responded. Her quizzes were easy, and Exams are recorded.

Professor K was an amazing lab teacher-100% recommend. I didn't have her for lecture, but I think she would have been awesome. She's super chill in lab and helpful. I hate science but this lab was my favorite part of any of the classes I took.

I had Dr. K for Online Lecture and in-person Lab. Make sure you have good group partners for lab- it makes class so enjoyable. Easy overview quizzes at the end of every lab. Online- weekly quizzes over the chapter, and 4-5 Exams total over big topics with lockdown browser- not awful but somewhat hard. No long lectures to watch. Highly recommend!

If you had taken AP Biology back in high school, this class would be super easy! As long as you do the work (chapter reviews and small quizzes) and take notes in class, it's not bad! The professor is helpful and quite humorous. I also had her for the bio lab, and she's pretty chill. Def recommend her if you're not a biology major. :)

Dr. K was an AMAZING instructor. She was very knowledgeable kind and understanding. This course is for non bio majors so having to dust over a lot of topics without droning on or going too in depth would be extremely difficult for most but she made learning it all easy and fun. You do have to read, no give there. But 10000% recommend!

This professor is absolutely amazing! I had her for both lab and lecture and couldn't recommend her more for either. Minimal homework, handout notes, and interactive teaching have made this class easy to understand. She is very nice and welcoming to any questions. If you need to take Bio101, take it with her!
