Great Teacher. She explains concepts very well and makes class fun. Everything that she lectures on is on the test so you dont even have to worry about reading the book.I highly recommend her class.
She trys to make the class fun with creative activities the book is very horrible takes you through a path before getting to the point thats why i dont read the book overall the class is average
Lublink is a VERY good teacher. The book is HORRIBLY boring. After awhile I just started reading the little grey boxes which summarize the sections. But she explains things VERY well. Don't be afraid to ask questions! The quizzes are simple if you do your readings and pay attention and the papers are simple. :) Easy class but you DO learn a lot!
Easy class. You have 3 papers but drops the lowest one. The papers are easy and only 500 words each. You have a quiz every Friday and are 5 questions true or false. The material is easy and she goes over everything on the quiz in class several times. Easy grade if you show up and pay attention
Very knowledgeable and lucid. She gives good presentations and encourages class discussions. The papers are somewhat interesting and aren't required to be too long. The workload isn't much; just reading and 5 question quizzes each friday.
She was an amazing teacher. Very informative and extremely helpful.
her lecture is easy to follow in ethics. easy class only if you really listen to lecture. quizzes are every friday but they are true or false questions
Quiz EVERY Friday during the 1st 5 minutes of class so don't be late. Based on reading which takes about 2 hours to read and digest - very wordy. Lectures really help. Organized teacher, papers easy. Do your Wiki work early in the year to avoid being penalized.
best professor you can ask for; helps in anyway she can. does great class discussions, funny outgoing overall great. recommend her 100%
Easy class if you do all of the work. There is alot of work in the class and the tests arent easy. I wouldnt recommend her class but she is an okay professor.
Great professor. She is very clear in her lectures and does a great job explaining things. Only two essays in the semester that are very easy if you put the work in that is required. TAKE ALL NOTES THAT ARE GIVEN IN CLASS!!! The notes are a major helping factor when it comes to the final.! I would definitely recommend her!!
Definitely take her if you can. Shes funny and extremely easy going. Shes also not a harsh grader on papers. Taking her now for a short summer course and there is a few quizzes a week on canvas only 5 questions each. Easy. Read your book, show up, listen, take notes and HAVE FUN!
She is a very nice person. The class is not that interesting to me nor the book, but she tries to make it fun by doing interactive activities. I wish I would've picked another course to take, but this one is almost over and I cant wait. A review for midterm would be nice since the book is so hard to follow. Write down everything she writes.
Awsome Professor. she explains everything we need to learn from the book. her quizzes on fridays are from her lecture. we have a midterm and a final plus two papers. EASY CLASS
Ms. Lublink is an extremely approachable young Canuck whose own introversion is masked by an extraverted and open, yet introspective classroom environment. I learned a lot, and I would take a class with Ms. Lublink again in a heartbeat
Great Teacher. Short Summer Semester but I learned a lot. A quick 5 question quiz before each class on that day's reading, two papers, and a midterm. Take the notes she writes on the board and write down your quiz questions. She uses them on the midterm/final. Highly recommend the class. She's very nice.
Would not recommened. She's very nice but I had to literally force myself to try and pay attention. I didn't have the class notes helpful for quizzes and tests. She doesn't do any review for midterm/final. I would never take her again. She seems pleasant and very nice but I do not like her teaching style.
DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. Professor relies on WIKI, which in my opinion (an education major) that is the laziest form of a teaching style. The study guide is put together by students on there..we pay her not the students. only tests are midterm and final which she gives you no review for. absolutely boring, and horrific class.
She is not very helpful. I proved to her that one of her quiz questions was wrong and she didn't care and disregarded me.I asked her questions and she didn't respond. I may have gotten an A in the class but it's not because the subject is interesting, or the teacher knows how to teach because she doesn't. Its easy if you study ,nuff said.
I was really impressed with how well Prof. Lublink knew the material (w/ some teachers it feels like they’re just reading an answer from a book). Class felt like a discussion, & posting notes on the Wiki from class or the textbook is easy. Read the chapters to ace the quizzes & do the extra credit assignments… you should get an A.
Best ethics professor in the nation, if not on the entire planet. Until we fine intelligent life on a foreign planet in another solar system, she is the BEST available, no matter how hard you search. You can sue me if you find a better professor.
She's very sweet, very easy to work with. Her coursework is simple and she is very clear on her grading methods. Very easy A and you still get to learn something. I love her methods of teaching. Very good professor. Very glad I chose her. :)
Professor Lublink is a great professor. She is very funny, always had me laughing in class. Attendance is not mandatory but she does give you points for coming to class. Very fun class, I was skeptical in the beginning, so many philosophers...but she keeps it fun.
Easy Lesson plan, she gives you some extra credit but about the phiophers know there teaches and about now of day problems will help you out
Professor Lublink is great! I took her Ethics and Intro to Philosophy in the same semester. There are many opportunities for extra credit through out the course. She is very easy going and makes the course material understandable. I would definitely recommend Professor Lublink.
Professor Lublink is great! She's very funny, grades easy, doesn't assign a lot of homework and is very east to talk to. Show up, take notes, pay attention..Great class!
Personally the class was fine but i was not fond of the teacher. The class was pretty straight forward but she had a total disregard for students when it came to help. She doesnt know your names but grades you on participation?! When you write her papers do it all in your own words COMPLETLY.
Great teacher. Easy to understand. Very happy with my choice of course.
Extremely boring lectures, towards the end of the semester she uses some videos but other than that she just talks the ENTIRE time. Attendance is 20% of your grade, so it's kind of mandatory. Make sure when you do your papers, you cite every little thing. I missed one citation (on accident) and she gave me an F for the paper.
Grade is out of 120%, so honestly I got C's on a couple of assignments/quizzes a few B's and got a 2/15 on one of the two big point assignments and still only needed a 56% on my final. Just print the notes, take a couple and actually attend and you'll breeze.
Professor Lublink is pretty awesome!! This class might bore some for the first few weeks but after that, it gets pretty interesting. She warns you about that as well. You can tell that she's really into what she talks about. She's also very witty s well and throws in some jokes every now and then. Over all, this class was great!!
Class is good but the teacher is awesome!!! homework is all online and it the easiest A ever. attend class and do the HW and you should have an A!
I Didn't enjoy this class very much. The professor though was amazing! All the homework was online and was super easy. She gave a study guide for the Final. So there is no reason why you shouldn't get a A if you take this professor.
One of the BEST professors Edison has! The subject can be boring but Dr Lublink does her best to spice it up. Try your very best to do really good on her quizzes & assignments since her test can be some what a lot of info...that way the grade balances out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! oh ya! you can email her & she always responds within minutes! HELPFUL
Very personable, funny, and good at keeping the class engaged. I really enjoyed going to class and found it to be moderately easy, as long as I was present for each lecture. I missed one lecture and failed that section of the test even though I read the chapters. Attendance graded, but she also gives you a chance for extra credit
Sometimes hard to follow, but that's honestly more the nature of the course than her ability to explain. online quizes every week or so and light reading required. not that bad and class is generally enjoyable. ps. book is available online for free if you look hard enough, it's not required to have it in class.
Professor Lublink is an amazing teacher. She is very knowledgeable and shockingly hilarious. I thought she really cared about the class. Her lectures are quite interesting and the debates are fun, however she tends to go on, and on, and on, to a point where we have lost track a couple times. She grades on attendance everyday so you must show up.
Good at analysis and explaining. However, allows herself to get behind in her lectures, so we did the quizzes first, and the matching lecture afterword. I learned what I needed without any benefiting grade! Also, she pokes fun at Christianity. If you're a Christian, be aware, and analyze counter-arguments to your beliefs. Have a solid rock.
Outstanding teacher, really does a fantastic job in spicing boring subjects up with interesting lectures and debates. Material is kind of difficult but it is very hard to get anything less than a B. Quizzes are 7 questions, online, true and false, and super easy. If you can show up to class, you will do just fine. Would take again!
I was not sure what to expect with a humanities class but found it very interesting. Professor Lublink encourages you to think for yourself and as long as you explain your reasoning she is fair in her grading. Would definitely take another class with her.
Her class is super easy, boring, so boring, I only went for the attendance because is an easy grade, basically extra credit.
She's amazing. Go to class and you should be able to pass with at least a B
Good teacher, easy class, very entertaining and an easy A if you pay attention. Book not necessary if you take good notes.
The class is easy, but really boring. I just showed up because it was a grade for attendance. Just do the quizzes, and if you understand what she says or what you read you'll be fine.
The amount of reading that you need to do in this class is ridiculous! If you need a quick course to take DO NOT take her! You will spend every second you have doing stuff for her class. Time consuming to the extreme. Overall the work given is not very hard but it does take A LOT of time. She is there to help if needed and very clear.
Professor Lublink is a great professor! Lectures were long due to it being a 6 week course but she done a phenomenal job at making the semester entertaining. She has a witty sense of humor which makes the atmosphere enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.
If you like Philosophy, Ethics I recommend this class. Really enjoyed it a lot, very mind opening.
Online Intro to Philosophy. Incredibly easy course. You don't need to wait for deadlines to move forward in the course, so if you have time, you can knock out most of the course very fast. Teacher was nice, no textbook is needed. Very easy overall, great for knocking out a pointless humanities credit.
I didn't need the class it was just to fill a humanity credit. Some topics were interesting. The teacher makes the class easy. If you just need to get through a humanities course, take her.
Amazing teacher! I took her for Ethics. Must have book (i didnt have one) and must read book. Every week there is a quiz. She gives a mid term and final. Two group assignment which are very easy. Two short writing assignments. Dont stress yourself, she is very funny and understanding. She drop 2 of your quiz scores. Passed with a B
It's a pretty easy A, but it is incredibly (and unnecessarily) time consuming. I write 10x more for this class than for my writing intensive literature class. It's a little ridiculous, honestly. The reading quizzes, midterm, and final are hard and you definitely need the textbook. If you have the time to put in, this class can be an easy A.
There is a quiz every week or so and it definitely relates to the reading in the textbook but it is very difficult to understand. The notes don't always give you the best study tools for the tests because she isn't always clear when she explains. I'd say it is an easy A but the tests and getting a concrete understanding of the material is tough.
honestly If you don't have to take this class don't. its super hard its like learning chinesse. theres not extra credit. theres no way to pass with quizlet
Professor Lublin is great. She answers quickly to emails and is always there to clarify if needed. Exams are proctored, but if you just study the quizzes you'll do fine.
Professor Lublink is an amazing professor. She is really nice and helps students out. Passed her class with a B. I would take her class again. Her lectures are really interesting.
Dr. Lublink actually responds to any and all questions I asked. I didn't enjoy the material, but she did really try to break down the many, many, many different topics covered throughout the course. Lots of discussion posts, with mandatory comments. Would have finished in two weeks, but having to wait for other students extended my time spent.
This class was pretty easy, just make sure you follow the directions for the discussions and "What I Learned" paragraphs. Towards the end of the class it became super off topic, talking about sexism, racism, and "privilege"... what does that have to do with philosophy? The liberalness of the class was definitely annoying. Easy overall though.
Her lectures consist of notes on the board, videos and discussions. She's very knowledgeable, open-minded, funny and caring. The course itself isn't that difficult if you pay attention and study. The quizzes are open book. There was one group project. Very enjoyable class overall.
Just show up to class. Learn the material. She's very helpful, and funny. Knowledgeable as well.
Prof. Lublink is a very skilled lecturer and can somehow make the most boring of philosophy concepts seem mind-bending. My only complaint would have to be that the assignments are few and far between, and the heavy reading seemed to dull my interest in the subject. Overall, she is very friendly, seemingly understanding and highly intelligent.
I loved Dr. Lublink she was a great prof. She is there to help you understand if you need it. The only thing I did not like was the lack of work and how it was weighted, towards the end it really weighs your grade down. The readings were very bland and take a lot of time. So be ready to read. If you can do good with few assignments, take this class
Took her online class. It was super easy and she's easy to contact if you have any questions. There's quite a bit of reading, and it can get monotonous, but such is the nature of an on-line class.
Amazing professor. Highly recommend.
She is the best! I highly recommend taking her Ethics class online. Dr. Lublink is super organized and makes navigating the classwork very easy. I'm not going to say the work is easy because its college, and you have to work to succeed but Dr. Lublink makes the learning process painless and enjoyable. I hope I can take her again someday!!
This professor is such a sweetheart, just use your resources and answer your questions with knowledge. Make them lengthy and you will pass with an A for sure.
Dr. Lublink is a great professor. Definitely an easy A but I didn't try hard and got a B+. Easy quizzes once a week based on readings from the book. 2 group assignments. Midterm and final. All relatively easy if you study a little bit. She also gives a study guide for both midterm and final. She grades for attendance too. Would take again.
Awesome philosophy professor.
Amazing.
Truly the best professor.
Very knowledgeable and it was a mini semester and thought it was a little intense at first. Then you get the hang of it. She does tend to grade harder on discussion post and the Midterm and Final are 45 questions and 90 Questions. STUDY STUDY!
Prof. Lublink is truly a gem. She has an awesome sense of humor, she takes every question seriously (no matter how ridiculous), and she is overall very fair. I have taken her a few times and always had a great experience! I highly recommend her to anyone.
She was a great teacher and very funny. Very relaxed and understanding. Class was not boring at all. Mid-term, final, and quizzes were easy as long as you read the book. I would definitely take her class again!
I just finished a mini online course with this professor and all I can say is I love her! I started out the semester rocky but managed to finish with an A, thanks to this professor being motivating and kind. Gives insightful feedback, replies to emails quickly, and the assignments are far from boring. What else could you want from a professor?
Sets up the class online and leaves you to figure it out and navigate.
Super easy class. There are quizzes online, but they are really easy. The annswers are all in the book. Tests are based on quizzes, so just study those.
She was a good professor. I liked the class and her teaching style as well.
She is one of the best professors I've had at FSW so far. Please participate in class, it really helps you learn. Gives reviews for the midterm and final, both pretty easy. A few quizzes but nothing too hard. Would highly recommend her!
I loved her class. Her quizzes were easy if you read all the required readings. She has study guides and resources set up on Canvas if you can't reach her. She has a good sense of humor and is a wonderful person. Always take notes to prepare for exams. I would take this class again.
Very down-to-earth and quirky, as well as an extremely enjoyable professor to have
She has a really good personality and sense of humor which made the class all that much better. Nothing too hard just show up and participate or pay attention in the class lectures because it will help later on.
She is really sweet and nice and know her stuff about philosophy. She encourages discussion about topics. I found this class pretty boring so i skipped a lot and I still have a high B. But if you are interested in Philosophy this is a great choice in professor.
She is a great professor. Gives great lectures by making them very interesting. She also is very funny and makes the whole class laugh and have fun while learning. She makes learning philosophy fun and understandable even though many would consider it boring. She is very knowledgeable about what she teaches. Overall a great professor.
Extremely easy and interesting class, its not really about classic dates and stuff not many people care about, more of a discussion based class over what those old people said and thought. 10 question T/F // multiple choice quiz almost every week, dont really need the book. Great professor, would defiantly take again.
A lot to read, quizzes after every assigned reading. Doesn't really lecture in a way that one can understand. Two really big tests, don't go over it in class but gives a paper of all that will be on the tests, but not specifically. I would suggest filling it out as its being taught. Gives notes layouts that you can print. Can reach outside of class
I took Professor Lublink for intro to philosophy online. The class was fairly simple. Each week you read a chapter and tested on it. You also participated in a discussion. I enjoyed learning about philosophy and I use what I learned to have intellectual conversations with my peers. Easy A if youre willing to put in a little work.
This professor is pleasant, she explains very well every subject in class through presentations. She is a though grader and takes points off for minor details but other than that I would def take her again.
She is great very engaging. Super nice show up take notes study just a little you'll pass easy!
Sarah was so kind! I really enjoyed her class, she was very accommodating. As long as you show up and make an effort, you will get an A.
This professor is by far the most amazing teacher if had for Ethics. She helps you tremendously, if there is something you misunderstood she will re-explain. We do group projects which helps everyone learn the material better (more in depth). You would WANT to show up for class because she makes her classes FUN! She will help you PASS, trust me.
This professor is extremely nice and knowledgeable of the subject matter. The grade is mostly based on quizzes and a group assignment. However, the quizzes are open book and the group assignment is done in class and only takes one class period. Overall, an extremely easy course to pass. If you take this class you will most likely pass no problem.
Such a nice woman! Always reminded us of when quizzes were due and usually went over the plan for the next week or two at the beginning of every class so you always know what is going on. She lectures all class period. 1-2 quizzes a week based on the reading, not usually a ton of reading either. Do the quizzes and come to most classes.
Kindest professor Ive ever had. Lectures were fascinating and interesting if you pay attention. Cares about each and everyone of her students. Definitely recommend! Thank you Professor Lublink!
Even though I took Professor Lublinks class at 9 am I always looked forward to her lectures! She is extremely quirky and easy to get along with. If you pay attention in class and write down what shes saying along with what shes writing down on the board, youll pass. I am 100% taking her class for Summer.
Took this course over summer as a mini A. With being a mini A class there are more assignments but as long as you put in some time and effort you can get an A. The only bad thing is that the assignments are not worth much so one bad grade can impact a lot. She does drop the lowest score though. Great professor!
Dr. Lublink assigns two readings every week and a discussion prompt that really makes you think. Her dialogue assignments, in contrast to how I initially felt about them, were fun and furthered our understandings. No matter your position, she will have something to oppose it to make you reconsider. Wonderful professor, would HIGHLY recommend her!
Super understanding and great grader. You will barely have any assignments she makes it a breeze. You still get to learn because the way she formats the assignments requires you to read the textbook.
This was by far my favorite class and professor. Reading material was engaging and interesting. Assignments were easy if you tried even just a little bit. This was a mini semester during the pandemic so she was super understanding about missing assignments and gave plenty of opportunity to make stuff up! HIGHLY recommend this teacher.
Loved the class and the professor is very insightful in philosophy. Dr. Lublink has a great way of teaching even an online class and is always giving feedback on the assignments. You will love this class.
If you put in the effort to read or at least watch the videos she provides, you will have no trouble with the assignments she gives. She sent emails a day before every assignment was due, she showed she cared that you did good. She has graded practices which are very very helpful to prepare for the test and gives good feedback. Loved her
She's a good professor, probably the easiest college course I have taken so far, only con is she takes forever to grade quizzes and homework so you never know your grade
This class was so fun and easy! The quizzes are only a maximum of about 7 questions each. They are usually one multiple choice and a few written responses. Nothing is proctored!! The discussion are almost always based on opinion (and if it's not, it is simple things to answer), so as long as you do you and the responses you should get an A!
Dr. Lublink is great! I took her ethics honors class, and it was very rewarding! I learned a lot about the topic and myself throughout the semester. She is SUPER understanding about late assignments. Allowed you to work at your own pace. Would recommend everybody to take her, even if you are not very interested in ethics.
She was a great professor!
She's one of my favorite teachers, absolute gem. She makes philosophy really interesting. Her class is pretty simple, you read for homework, you take a test, and the next classes you talk about the reading. Really interesting and she uses videos a lot as well. If you pay attention and interact/answer her questions, you'll do well on tests.
