Her review tests really help. Not a lot of homework since most math teachers at Collin give a lot of homework but her practice tests really help and are similar to the real test.

Professor Lynch was not helpful. I emailed her 4 times and received only 1 response back which was terse and lacking any thought. I have all A's in EVERY class at Collin and UNT. My calculator TI-83 was not getting the same answers as hers therefore I missed questions.

Prof Lynch my favorite professor at Collin! She makes complex concepts super easy to understand. She's always there for her students, whether it be course related or not. It's not difficult to get a good grade, but you have to actually do the homework and the test reviews. This is not the professor to take if you're not wanting to do any work.

when working on a test review it can sometimes be a bit different from what is the actual test. The little mistakes can make a huge difference come test time, must as well be a good note taker go throughs the material really fast.

Her lectures are very easy to understand and she works through a lot of problems on the board. It was much easier to understand her than the book. She gives very challenging homework assignments so be prepared to work. However if you complete the homework then the test will be easy. Her test reviews were just like the test, so do them.

Excellent communicator. Extra credit. Clear and effective teaching style. Engaged with students; she is a real community force for good, trying to get people involved and inspired. She makes the class such that an A is attainable with hard work, and failure is almost impossible. Lynch for the win, all the way!

Love this professor! Gets right to the point. She showed me all kinds of calculator short-cuts that I never knew existed! Lots of homework, but she makes it worth your time - 20% !!! I've never had homework worth that much of my grade. labs are also worth another 20% - just show up to class and lab grades are easy. Definitely worth taking.

This is my third semester taking Prof. Lynch. Simply put, she's awesome. She cares a lot about her students. Her lectures are very easy to understand. Tests are fairly easy, mainly multiple choice with a review beforehand. The web-assign homework is difficult and time consuming, but not impossible. I only wish that she taught Cal 3.

A great professor that makes it very clear what she expects in her class. Her lectures are some of the best i have seen in my math courses. If you do your work there is no way you will not do well in this class. Lynch is a great professor, and she cares for her students.

I took contemporary math with professor Lynch during the wintermester. First and foremost I want to state that I am not a math person, but professor Lynch made the material very easy to understand. She assigns lots of homework, and also requires you to show up for class. She post test reviews and the answer sheet, and lets you do group quizzes.

She gives you a chance to get extra credit every test & homework is always due right before class starts. Homework counts as a huge percentage, DO IT! (my mistake). She prepares you for the tests by the labs & test reviews given. She makes learning math so much easier, it was my worst subject, now its my best.

I cannot say enough about Professor Lynch. First of all she is caring. Let me explain, and very assessable, fair, understanding. She understands students in a way I haven't seen in any other math prof. yet. I have had her in both Cal1 & 11. I would in Cal 111 if she taught it. I am taking her for differential equations this fall how about that!

Took MATH1332 online. There's about 10-15 min video per lesson and about 20-30 questions for homework and about 4 lessons in each unit (theres 6 total). Quizzes are 3 attempts at home and 3 tests and final are at the testing centers. Material was fairly easy to self-teach but it's pretty time consuming. I'm terrible at math but I passed with an A.

Pretty time consuming class; I would say I dedicated about 2 hours to this class every day. It's easy material, not really like math but more like logic. The Review quizzes and tests questions are repeated on the actual quizzes, tests, and the final so remember to practice those.

I rarely give a positive review, but Sarah Lynch is great. I am used to learning by a step by step process and then slowly grasp the over all concepts later on which is exactly how she teaches. She gives excellent reviews and you will be prepared for any test. HW is easy and Labs are with groups, over all a good teacher, I'd take her again easily.

Do NOT miss a single class, do your homework, take advantage of the on-campus Math Lab, BUY THE TEXT BOOK, and you will pass, but this is a survey course and it is a challenge! Had I known this was so difficult I would have taken Algebra instead, from Prof. Lynch. Great teacher, but BRUTAL class. She sets you up to win, as long as you work!

I took this professor for a wintermester. She made the class very enjoyable and practical. My favorite thing about her is that she definitely was aware of the different learning styles in the classroom, so she was thorough in teaching through audio, kinetics, writing on the whiteboard, etc. Her expectations were clear and she was hilarious.
