Typical college professor, too busy, Gives lots of work/problems but no answers&
great web site, helpful, clear
never gives up on students! wants students to learn. very encouraging
lots of office hours, willing to help, believes in students, helpful web site

Professor Mabrouk is one of the best professors I have had. She is always there to help, gives lots of work, and gives the answer book too. Any concepts she explains she takes the time to make sure that you understand. Take a class with her.
makes easy subjects difficult and difficult subjects impossible
The amount of work assigned is unreasonable. Her social skills are terrible when relating to students. During office hours she complains about being interupted. Overall one of the worst professors both professionally and socially in college.
Great teacher. I would just like to say thank you for ensuring that i will NEVER graduate. NEVER!!!
Extremely willing to help all students. She's always concerned about students and wants them to learn. She is willing to spend hours on end to help students learn. If you make the effort you can easily pass the course since she provides tons of extra h
Very helpful! Always has time for students - makes appointments if you cannot come to office hours. Gives clear notes - easy to study. Nice in class and outside of class! Likes math but not a nerd.
Great Prof!! She always has time to help students and she never turns anyone away even if it is not her office hours. I could not have passed the course with out her. She belived in me even when I did not. I am glas that she was my prof!!

She loves math and expects the same dedication in her students. She offers a lot of help setions, but they don't really help. Almost everybody dropped her class, and for those who stuck around ended up taking the class over the next semester.
My original professor passed away :( and Mabrouk took over...she makes you feel like you are 3 years old, she is nice outside of class but she was RUDE to me when i went to her cuz i failed her version of a final after she taught our class for 2 WEEKS!
She makes 2+2 seem complicated, and then tells us the quadratic formula should be taught in kindergarten. She gives an absurd amoung of hw, and acts as if that is the only class her students are taking . . . BEWARE.
When my prof died, she took over the class. She was extremely fair and helpful. She always tried to realte things to how as our prof did them. She encouraged us and was very kind. I liked her a lot. She was very good.
snoooze
she made simple proccesses seem hard. Very nice, but a picky grader. I put forth effort, but ended up dropping out of this class. ridiculous. do not take if you are bad at math.
makes everything seem more complicated than it really is. doesn't know whats going on, not sure much is going on up there. just like most teachers doesn't understand the principle idea of teaching and that there are other classes than just hers.
Avoid at all costs. Avoid the whole dept. at all costs. Warning! Danger!
Very passionate about the subject and very helpful and kind teacher. However she finds the longest and hardest ways to find solutions to a problem. Tends to run class five minutes over because she always wants to squeeze in one last problem. Picky grader
She is the most helpful, caring teacher i have ever had. If anyone is unsure of their math skills, this is the teacher to take.
Offers lots of extra help. Patient and always willing to answer questions. Gives students every opportunity to learn and to do well in the course. Anyone who attends class, pays attention and works along, does the work and studies will do well with her!
always there for students. demanding but fair. only goof-offs who do not do the work will fail and bail since she is always there to help. genuinely cares for students. i would take more math courses with her.
if you want to learn, this is the prof for you. she wants students to learn and she is willing to help. goes the extra mile to help students. really cares. good prof.
amazing professor!!! she made math fun. this was the first time i ever got an A in math! i'd usually get Cs or Ds in high school math.
seemns real easy until u get ur grade
Worst professor I have EVER had. If you are a smart person you will take any other class to avoid having her. Horrible........
cruel grader, mean
very patient with questions; expectes students to read textbook and to do homework; willing to spend time working with students outside of class; if you want to learn then take this course but if you are too lazy to work then take someone else; I like her a lot!
nice prof who wants students to learn. she has helped me to learn to study and to learn -- read the text, take good class notes, do practice problems, practice using the software, reread and study notes and problems worked. I wish someone had taught me before! I would take another class with her.
Prof. Mabrouk is a hard teacher. I took her for a noncredit course because i scored poorly on the placement exam. She bites off more than she can chew when giving you too much work. Although she is helpful, unless you do all the work, your in a tough spot. I am not taking her again for any classes.
Mabrouk gives alot of work for this class. It was non credit and she gave so much work. She has a 70/70 requirement where you need a 70 to take final. Tries to teach you too many things at once.
Prof. Mabrouk is a brilliant person. I think that is the problem. She expects a bit too much out of students in an intro course. She is always there if you need help. You will if you want to pass. Also, she is very picky regarding tests. People lose a lot of points because of little mistakes.
prof wants students to learn. very helpful. she has lots of office hours. even makes appointments if you cannot make scheduled times. would take course with her again. nice prof even though she likes math.
very good teacher
Her methods of teaching are pretty good. You will learn alot, BUT! Her gradeing sucks. She will get you on spelling errors and wording. Beware she is MATH obsessed! Dosent understand people are not as smart as her. Expects way to much. Also have to do a project on Stat History.
OMG. pleaseee dont take this class, SO HARd. it was like death. had to withdrawl- obsessive w/ math its so weird and takes points off EVERYTHING. trust, i read these and still took it.. do NOT take it!
Amazingly brilliant, amazingly difficult. Grades extraordinarily tough and gives lots of work and a huge project. Always available for students needing help with anything. TOUGH, but fair (sometimes too fair).
while she is tough, she wants students to learn. i have never had a prof care so much about my understanding the material as her. while an easy prof might get me a good grade, i would take her class over any other because she cares that i learn and she genuinely cares about me. so i want to learn.
has high expectations for students and tries to help. course is challenging and prof is available for extra help. if you do not want to work then take another course. if you want to learn and if you want a helpful prof take her course. i learned a lot.
Do not take this class its not worth the stress. She grades super hard even will get you on spelling. Ignore the good comments here for they are all extreme examples of her otherwise good intentions.
prof is more than fair! she goes out of her way to help -- always available for extra help whether in person, by email, or by phone! expects students to do their work and she does more than her share! i would take another course with her.
if you want to work and to learn then this is the course for you. she is not easy but she will teach you and she is always fair. course is not for the lazy but rather for those who really want to learn/work. she always welcomes questions and wants to help.
ahhhh!!!!!! run! drop the class! u can not use caculators!
it was a tough class but she helped out and i made it through it

Worst instructor I've ever had, hands down. Her approach to math is *sickening*, and she's not helpful in the least. She constantly lets people fall behind and does not offer any aid whatsoever.
She is out of control will a ton of projects, but she will definitely give you all the help that you need. Sometimes she is unfair about deadlines and stuff as well.
It is absurd how hard of a grader she is. She tries to make math "fun" by asking for your interests and makes the class feel like a elementary school setting. WORST PROFESSOR I'VE HAD!! I would strongly suggest avoiding her class.
prof always gives review problems and review sessions for exams, has many office hours and is always willing to help. prof relates material to majors of students and uses real data for analysis. i would not have survived the class with out her.
she never made me feel dumb for asking a question. i felt that i could always ask my questions without being judged. stats is hard and she wanted us to learn. the course may not be easy but it was always fair.
avoid her like the plague
very helpful. i would not have survived course without her. gives review problems and sessions. if you want help she is there for you. do your work ahd she will help you too.
AVOID THIS CLASS! im taking it now and i plan to switch to a new prof. she grades unfairly encourages questions and then doesnt answer them, talks down to students and wastes class time by going into confusing examples not relevent to anything. and whatever you do DO NOT CRITISIZE HER WEBSITE! she will spaz!
questions welcome and answered. expects class to do readings/homework so slackers should not take class. helpful and interested in students. gives extra help to all who ask.
Treats you like your five years old. no make ups... If you miss and assignment or a quiz its a zero. sitting in her class is an absolute misery. too much stupid blackboard stuff to do that is completely irrelevant. Her tests arent that hard if you go to the review and take good notes... but I would not recommend this class its stupid.
glad i took this class. info was clear and extra help was always available. not a class for the lazy since you are expected to do your work. pleasant and friendly prof. always encouraged me to try and helped me to understand stats.
prof helped me to understand stat -- i had failed course with another prof but this time everything made sense. Prof encourages questions and never made me feel stupid for asking a question. woudl recomend this prof to others.
prof cares about students and wants them to learn. she is always available for help. offers help sessions and reveiw problems before exams.
course is straightforward with no surprises. do not take if you expect extensions - she sets deadlines and expects you to do your work. helpful and encouraging.
This was supposed to be and intro to stats class but was too advanced. Professor did not respond to email questions (this was an online section.) Does not give partial credit. I think she forgets we are not all math majors. Also, she shouldn't have made us buy a book since she contridicts the book constantly. Worst class I've ever taken.
Not bad but she is picky if you can't handle doing things her way you are in trouble. She is fine if you just know how to get along with her. Odd but caring.
Anyone who has anything bad to say about her obviously didn't put in the effort in her class. I'm terrible at math and she makes things very clear and is always willing to help. She is very clear about what she expects from students and won't tolerate anything less. Very tough but very fair and kind
Thinks that nebulous allusions to other material help us to learn. Talks like a textbook. Makes interaction awkward. Confusing website is testament to that she teaches as if we can read her mind. Passing's possible, but takes way too much effort. Research paper in Calc3? Come on. Terrible experience, terrible teacher; too bad she thinks otherwise.
expects you to do your work. eager to help. provides helpful slides and materials on web site. if you do your work then class is straight forward. class is not for slackers - if you are lazy then stay out of the class. provides lots of opportunities to succeed. expects you to do your work. always respectful of students. the best!
wants to help. always available for extra help outside of class. does expect you to read/review class notes, do homework and readings. available for questions. concerned about students and does all she can to help. if you do your share then you will succeed -- if you goof off then you will get what you deserve. encourages students to do their best.
Yes, her classes are not known for being easy and simple. I feel like I've actually learned the most in her classes. She's very smart and knows what she's talking about. She even derives formulas for you, which is something not too many professors do. She cares about her students very much.
She was the worst professor I have ever had!Although the material seems easy at first, her grading on exams is very harsh and unfair. She takes points off for spelling and for "showing your work" in an area she doesn't like. She says she is open to questions but bites your head off if you try to question her.She thinks all students have no life.
expectations were clear for assignments, quizzes and exams. very helpful - even called students to go over exams and this was a online course! expects use of proper notation and terminology so course is not for you if you do not want to do the work. answers questions in person, by phone, email, and online.
I think she is a great professor! She is so help and teaches things very clearly. She is always available for extra help when you need it. She is a fair grader and gives lots of partial credit! I would recommend her.
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She's the worst.
Do not take for zero credit class. Other classes may not be a bad idea
I was going to take an online stats class with this professor. On the 1st day of class I received 12 separate emails which I printed out and attempted to follow. These "class instructions" weaved the most ridiculous, intricate, and convoluted set of directions I'd ever come across. I switched into another class and never looked back.
She is a very nice person, but math is pretty much her entire life. shes awkward sometimes but she really tries to help u understand everything. she gives a lot of partial credit on tests and quizzes. she offers easy extra credit too to help make up for bad test and quiz grades.
She is unreasonable at some points. She gives you way to much work to do and a very short time to do it. She does give etra credit but thats because people get 20's on her test. In the beginning I thought she was going to be a really good teacher but I was mistaken.
Shes like a robot, and not at all able to communicate about anything other than math. kind of obsessive, too.
Intro to Stats: Prof. Mabrouk is a very nice person. She is also very knowledgeable about math and LOVES it. However, her teaching style is not great. Sometimes her presentation of new topics is confusing, and at the end of the class she rushed to teach us a topic that we had no time to fully learn. Overall, OK, but very frustrating at times.
prof. Mabrouk is really nice, she wants all her students in her classes to do well. however she can be unclear explaining topics and a lot of ppl in my class failed. (she does offer a boatload of extra credit /opportunities to try & save your grade though) Her class is NOT an easy A or for people who don't like / aren't naturally good at math.
I liked Professor Mabrouk a lot. As long as you pay attention, ask questions, and actually do your work, you will end up with a good grade in the end. She is always in such a great mood too which makes the class fun.
Prof. Mabrouk is a positive joyful person who is committed to teaching math. Unfortunately she teaches it her way, and wants you to use her way or you don't get the points. She is strict on grading quizzes and tests. She takes points off for the littlest things, even if you get the question right. Be prepared to pay attention and not miss a class!
One of the most annoying people alive. Thinks that students have an over abundance of time and it should all be spent on math. Her grading is extremely unreasonable. If you have a question about why you got points off, don't even bother asking. She is right, always has been and always will be.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this professor ruined my life. I put forth so much effort in her class and still barely passed, which ultimately cost me one of my scholarships. If you don't think you'll be able to teach yourself the material, don't take a class with her.
Very nice Professor; I want to take more classes with her.
She's a great professor but her tests are hard. She's also a grammar freak, she will dock off for grammatical errors on tests. Homework every night but she gives you the entire month to finish it (as long as you do it before the test)
Mabrouk is a really nice teacher, but she believes math is above all and acts as if we do not have other classes. For some reason she thinks everyone is a math major of some sort. On top of all that she give you like 10 minutes to do a quiz. She is also a BIG grammar freak. I personally do not recommend this professor. Find someone else.
I cannot stand this women for one more class. She is probably the most annoying professor I have ever met. She will take off points on exams for pretty much anything. In Euclid she didn't use the book until the last couple weeks. Up until that she writes proofs on the projector, all of which do not show up on an exam.
I liked her. Very helpful. She made time to have study sessions a few time a week. She does take off for grammar. I see her point, if your grammar is bad in the work force, you could get fired...or not hired at all.
Do not take her class unless you want to teach yourself! I'm not afraid of hard work, I put in SO much time into this class. There was no instruction at all, no correction and she was hardly available to get help from. She didn't want you to even use CASA. I barely passed and that is not why I'm writing this. She does not teach at least online.
Provides clear direction, information, and lots of readings in the book, in her handouts and in power points that she makes for students. Sae is always available for help and she offers extra sessions all the time, eve special sessions before exams. I have never had a professor as helpful as her.
Avoid at all costs. Withdrawing. She is so harsh with grading exams- impossible to get good grade. She is very helpful explaining a single problem, but no interest in student success. I did all the work, was prepared for tests, still couldn't get better than C. Life is too short. She sucked all joy out of learning. Never quit anything until her.
She does not teach the material well. She is imposable to talk to. If you misspell a word even if it is not a mathematical term you lose points. The only good thing is that she gives a lot of extra credit. If you are good at math you could probably get an A in the class, if you are not good at math I would look for a different teacher.
She is the most annoying teacher in the world. She took away all my joys about math. I put all my efforts in her class, I did all the work, was prepared for tests, and did all the work to earn her extra credits. Still, I got the worst grade in my life. She took points off for very tiny things. Don't expect to get full credits from her quiz/exams.
She is always willing to answer questions and she provides many examples during class. I would like to take more classes with her.
She was soooo patient with me and answered questions no matter what they were. I had dropped the course with another professor who would not help me and I was concerned about passing the course. But this professor encouraged me and met with me outside class to help me do the math. If she taught something else I would take more classes with her.
I wish that I had her for calc 1 and 2 - i would have learned the material. She actually derives and proves things involving the class instead of telling us to just memorize things. She was always helpful too even answering my questions when it was convenient for me. I would like to take more classes with her.
This teacher, is something else. Never in my life have I disliked a teacher. Granted she is nice and gives second chances ALOT. She will never answer you directly, and will answer with most likely well be "what did we learn this week". She is also a HARSH grader, so if you want trouble waking up in the morning then take the class. If not, then don't
She was a horrible teacher, How she ever got the ten year teacher is beyond me. Shes nice dont get me wrong, But she CANNOT teach. Ive gone plenty of times to extra help and you pretty much need to teach yourself. I spent $90 on the online homework website and she does work totally different from the website so teaching myself from it was not help.
I got put into Stats with this lady and I can honestly say she is the worst teacher I've ever had in my entire education career. She can't teach at all and I spent the entire semester trying to learn from my book and she goes directly against the book. She takes off points for things like grammar in a math class. Honestly drop this class ASAP.
Prof. Mabrouk is a great professor! She is extremely nice and will go to great lengths to help you understand a topic. She offers tons of extra credit & has lots of office hours & will host numerous "problem sessions" at various times if you need additional help. Yes, she is the spelling police, but she's OUTSTANDING and a true joy to learn from!
She is the absolute worst.
By far the worse professor at FSU. She doesn't care about her students. She refuses CASA to let them help her students. Absolute BULL!
She is by far the WORST professor I have ever had. She does not teach any of the information, you teach yourself everything and she makes you feel stupid with her sassy attitude when you ask her questions. DO NOT TAKE. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. WORST PROFESSOR. YOU'LL THANK ME LATER. SERIOUSLY.
She is a very nice, yet strange lady. Her quirky personality was a little to get used to but her ability to teach is right on. I hated stats in high school and I found it a lot easier and more interesting this semester. Her class is easy to do well in especially because she allows for note cards on quizzes and cheat sheets on the exams.
This professor was infuriating and demeaning. When you ask a question she will answer you like you're a toddler and the answer she gives you will not be straight. You will spend entire classes doing one problem and still not understand once finished. She wants to help you but cannot do it in a way you will understand. I do not recommend her at all
She is patient and answers all questions even repeating if you do not understand. She want you to understand what you are doing not just get steps.
the professor answered questions without making me feel dumb and that made me feel like i could do this. I liked it that she wanted me to understand the formulas and the steps. She does not want us texting or online in clss but I guess thats good since I missed stuff in other classes. She even met with me outside class to work on problems. Good
She's a really, really nice person, BUT, she teaches like its Kindergarten and not college. BUT she doesn't do this as an insult, she just wants everyone to understand how to do everything. She's great if you don't likearen't good at math, but she is frustrating if you likeare okay at math. I didn't like her much, nor did most of my class.
Lots of group projects. Is very vague about what she wants. Project assignment sheets are long, and filled with word vomit, so it is hard to tell what the actual problem iswhat she actually wants from you. Hard to read her hand-writing, and she doesn't post notes up anyway so you're out of luck if you can't decipher her hand writing.
This is the worst class I have ever taken at FSU. I am very good at math but this class was literally IMPOSSIBLE. She is super nice don't get me wrong but she has no idea how to teach. DO NOT take this class
I took Mabrouk my freshman year and it was the worst thing I ever had to go through. Not only did she talk to the entire class like we were babies, but she also was no help. I went to her study sessions to try to understand the material, but all she did was talk down to me and confuse me even more. She will tell you one thing but grade another way.
Projects are so confusing. Takes her 5 paragraphs to explain something minor. She's helpful if you go to her office hours, but this does not mean you'll get a good grade. Didn't use the textbook once... So thanks for making me spend money I don't have. Avoid if you can.
THis class is based on group projects. Her projects are extremely broad and there is pointless information throughout the reading. She looks for hyper specific answers but there aren't any hyper specific instructions. She is not helpful even i the slightest. She answers EVERYTHING indirectly so good luck getting information. DO NOT TAKE. NO BOOK
This is the problem. No matter what your answer is, she will always say it is wrong. She always likes to be the one on top, and will always add a "not quite.." after EVERYTHING. Very confusing instructions. One day she wants hyper-specific answers, then the next day she will claim "the problem does not say you must answer in a sentence". Annoying.
Professor Mabrouk is confusing, and always talks in an insulting tone. If you don't like being talked to like you're a first-grader, do not take a class with her. You will NOT receive a satisfactory grade unless you comply with her close to impossible standards. You will have a hard time with her, and you get disrespected daily. Avoid at all costs.
Mabrouk genuinely cares about her students and really will do anything to get you an A. She explains things in so many different manners that it an become endlessly confusing. She is not very pragmatic or succinct. Do not expect a straight up answer from her. You have to de-code what she says sometimes. She always puts all the notes online.
She talks in a very annoying tone and will not answer your questions. If you try to correct her she will try to make it seem like you are wrong, even if you are right. She can be nice, but was usually very rude to me in front of the entire class so it got to a point where I felt uncomfortable talking in class.
She's an extremly tough grader. If you want to take a class with her be prepared to not understand anything she's saying. Its very difficult to follow along with her because half the time you dont know what she's trying to say. She also expects everyone in the class to like her and only have time to do her homwork.
Prof. Mabrouk was one of the best professors I've had. I found her very fair, and her extra help outside of class was extremely helpful. If you work hard and show her that you're putting in effort, she will be more willing to help.
She seems really nice, but is very subjective and treats most people like children. Expect a lot of outside work from her class, but try not to take.
Very slow to teach, thinks you do nothing else but math. Treats students like elementary students. Very easy grade, but the process to get said grade is slow and painful. If you have her, DO NOT take a class right after. YOU WILL BE LATE! SHE LOVES KEEPING KIDS AFTER TIME. Stay away from her
This was the worst experience of my life I needed this class for a prereq for graduate school. None of her slides made sense or helped with the homework. her videos are the worst math videos on the web. If you don't work the problem out to her liking she will not give you credit.
Sarah is a very tough teacher. She gives close to no homework which means your grades are based on the tests. She's a nice lady but as a teacher she's tough and is very confusing to try to listen to. She also moves at an extremely fast pace.
Professor Mabrouk is the most caring Professor i have had. I took several classes with her and got onto a personal level. Go to her office hours!!!! She wants you to pass!!!! She also wants to make sure you are working hard for your grade. Lovely woman who takes her job so seriously.
She treats her students like kindergarteners and if you even put one word in the wrong spot you will lose points. She is so picky and strict about how the work should be done it is suffocating. You can do the problem correctly but if it's not organized correctly you lose points. I have never hated a class more in my whole life.
I took her class for Quantitative Reasoning a little while back and I gotta say she's one of my favorite math professors! And this is coming from someone who has always struggled with math. I think she's good at explaining things, but you definitely have to put in the work.
talks to her students like children, shes a very nice person but teaches and treats students as if they are kids
This professor is picky & strict with everything. She will give you no credit on your work if you dont do things her way. For example, she gave me a 0 on a homework assignment because the paper that I turned in was brown. Save yourself the trouble & dont take her class.
Yeah nah don't take this class first in the morning, I never fail to fall asleep. Currently I am doing an assignment that is already late because you never know when an assignment is due, but I have never seen her do anything related to this in class. And if its not done her way you get a zero. Take it as you will.
Shes very very picky. Takes off points for strange things like if your paper is a color thats hard to read or if you abbreviate in a certain way etc. If you slack off even a little bit you wont pass, however if you reach out and be honest that youre struggling you may get a chance to redo to raise your grade. Overall not my favorite class or prof
Truly a terrible professor. If you go off the beaten path with the way you do work, instant zero. If you have a life outside of school, too bad, math is your life now. Takes points off for the littlest things for no reason other than to worsen your grade. She also treats her class as if they're in kindergarten and in English class. Avoid entirely.
she seems very relaxed and nice at the beginning of the semester, but later it feels like a complete flip. she's a very tough grader and answers your questions with questions. she rarely gives a solid answer; you have to decipher her 'answer' on your own which ends up being even more confusing! you will be writing multiple papers! yup, math papers
Absolutely horrible. Gave me a zero on an assignment about myself. The assignment was a get to know you assignment and asked things like where i was from and what calculator i had. And she gave me a zero because I accidentally turned it in twice. If your hw isn't LABELED correctly, automatic zero. She hands out zeros like its nothing.
Absolute worst teacher ever. I swear she tries to fail you and wants to see you struggle in every way humanly possible. It almost made me drop out of college and this lady wont stop. She assigned 4 finals one of which is a 11 PAGE ESSAY. Dont do it.
Worst teacher I've had period. Is a very strict grader who writes her comments for assignments in impossible to read cursive so I never knew what I did wrong. She only sends emails for assignments in the middle of the night, so enjoy waking up to your phone because it'll be her sending five emails at 4am. Avoid this professor at all costs. Horrible
Seemed to be a decent person but she changed after the first few weeks. Talks to her students like they are children (basically talking down). Uses phrases like "what's your pleasure?" which is DEEPLY uncomfortable. Refuses to write in anything but cursive, (even if asked nicely). Makes things unnecessarily difficult. I withdrew after 3 weeks.
she makes it seem like our fault whenever we don't understand something and is condescending when we ask for help despite constantly telling us how she makes herself available all the time for us. most frustrating professor I've ever had
worst class and professor I've ever had in my life. talks like she's reading from a rehearsed script and like we're in fourth grade, talks down to us when we make mistakes because of course she can do no wrong. if you don't understand something oh well you should've understood it the first time she wrote it in her practically illegible writing
The majority of the class struggles to understand the material. The professor writes down every little thing on the board when teaching which makes it overwhelming. Grading is very specific and your accumlative grade is hidden until after the midterm. She talks down to us when answering questions, as if we are children. Would not recommend.
Talks to us like we're five, very picky grader, unrealistic standards, tough grader, will fail you for doing the wrong equation but getting the right answer
She is awful I once asked for an hour extension on my test since I had class and tests are online, she said no then I proceeded to rush she get the test done for the due time and after I turned it in sends and emails saying the test is open until later.
She was a very good professor considering it was an online math class. If you paid attention to the class, you should do fine. She goes through each problem step-by-step & uploads it (photos & written) on the class note page after. She does have a tendency to talk as if you are a 3rd grader, but that can be ignored & she answers all questions.
Her handwriting was hard to read, and she took points off for writing our name on the wrong side of the paper. She also talked in a sing-song voice while being strict, which was off-putting to me.
can never read her handwriting, she makes the problems more difficult than they actually are. will do anything to not use a calculator, so much papers.
Patronizing towards students. Specific on submissions, but there's no pleasing her. Students have to go about math in her way and her way only, which is not how math works. Her picky manner makes a simple assignment time consuming. She made us pay for a $70 Pearson program, and ironically it somehow taught better than her. Took the class in Fall 23
The professor tends to make the material more complex than necessary. Navigating her handwriting and grading style can be challenging. However, tools like unstuck AI can help streamline study prep and make the most of this course.
Her course was online-only. Instead of typing the lesson, she would write down the notes for us by hand. Her handwriting was hard to read. She took points off for unnecessary things such as writing our name on the wrong side of the paper or downloading our homework horizontally instead of vertically
She will not hold your hand and will have the hardest equations that could only be done through her AVOID her at all cost or P/C
Reminds me of Dolores Umbridge from Harry Potter.
Every lesson is taught step by step so you don't actually learn anything on your own.
