She's ok. She is hard to understand sometimes and talks really fast. She uses good examples but you are usually too busy writing all her notes to pay attention because she won't put them online!

She talks sooooooo fast! She's very straightforward and her tests are super easy. She is very tough on careplans and papers because that's her specialty. We always got out of class an hour early.

It's hard to take notes, but do it, read 'em and the tests are easy. She is NOT clear on what she wants on assignments, but go to her office and ask her, she loves helping you and she will! She will tell you EXACTLY what she wants from you.

Lectures are boring, take good notes, read all the chapters because she uses it.Her tests are EXTREMELY easy, reflect what you've learned in class.She is a really awesome person outside of class, loves to help u as much as possible.I got a 99% on her APA paper, go & talk to her before u turn in assignments, and have EVERYONE u can correct ur paper

Before giving assignments she never explains what she expects from you and the assignment (just superfitially skims over it), but when she grades it, she loves to take off points for the littlest details and writes all over your assignments what she expected.

Not clear with assingments, tests aren't bad, group project is tedious. Prof Newton will look over papers before due date (with an appointment) and this is very helpful in understanding what she wants.

Newton is a great professor. She is smart and always willing to help. If I ever had a question with a paper, I just made an appt with her or emailed her and ahe clarified. She also wore great outfits like cat socks with sandals. Tests were easy and came straight from her notes.

Ughh..her tests are not too bad they are straight from the notes...group project is either easy or hard depending on what topic you get....she is very very boring in lecture...make sure you make an appt. with her for the paper because she is very strict on apa and likes it her way..

It is hard to understand what she wants out of the writing assignments. She is biased and I believe she collaborates with other professors to see how you've faired especially with your clinical class.

Definitely go to class because a lot of important info is given. tests are easy. she grades VERY hard on the group project. from lecture it would seem like she's unapproachable but in reality she's great one-on-one. not going to be one of your favorite classes.

Faculty of record for NRS252. Drill sargent of the nursing program. Very tough and rigid. Very proud her of PhD. Mocks and humiliates students in class. Exams are from lectures. Write down every word. Study it well. Some exams are all essay and are all subjective grading. She is a controller. If she can control you great, if not forget any help.

Dr. Newton was an absolutely wonderful professor. I came into the class hearing alot of negative comments about her and her teaching style, but the truth is, she only wants to produce competent nurses! I learned so much and you will too - work hard, study hard, and seek help if needed. She is very clear about her expectations.

SOOO dry. This is the worst class I had ever in nursing. She pretends like she will help, but then screws you while grading. All her grading outside of scantron tests are totally whatever mood she is in while she is grading. It was an awful experience to work so hard for a bull grade. All that aside, she is a great dresser ;)

Dr. Newton is a great professior so stop your whining...if you do exactly what she says, you will be fine...no need to buy the book cause all notes come from her lecture as well as text....listen to her every word cause she will say things that you will need later....

Dr. Newton's class is structured well: three assignments, two tests. Beware of the true and false questions. The care plan's directions were not clear. You will be doing it blind, so don't expect a good grade. The paper has very clear directions and you'll have a partner to write it with you. Do what she wants and you will get a good grade.

It's a tough class. She's kind of intimidating in class, but if you need her help outside of class, she does have a heart. Very strict grader so follow her directions precisely. I managed a B, so the class is possible, but it requires a ton of work and attention to detail. The exams were easier than the papers though.

If you question anything she does or says she will put a target on your head. She is a control freak, unclear on what she wants out of an assignment, and constantly threatens that if you don't do what she wants you will get a Zero. She is nicknamed Dr. Zero. She allows 0 collaboration amongst peers. She is heartless, rude and unprofessional.

Newton used to do transplants, I forget which vital organ it was. She must be a MENSA member because she is really smart and she thinks you should have a 150 IQ. She can be totally rude when you go to her office for an appointment. I wish she would go back to research or transplant work. Don't take!!!

One of my favorites! Class is organized. I always knew what to expect. No trickery. Go to class, take notes, and study from them. Requires a good amount of time as it is a research class but Dr. Newton is very fair. One of the better instructors at OU.

HORRIBLE TEACHER! Belittles students, makes u feel incompetent, refuses to answer questions or admit her mistakes, her grading is a hit/miss (98% of the time she will fail you), don't ask her questions because she will put her hand in your face and tell you that "now is not the time". Gets off on failing her students to feel better about her PhD.

Had her for both 252 and 452. She is very knowledgeable. She does come across very tough and stern during the first semester. However, do your work, don't be a slacker, seek her out for help outside of class. She is very open to questions and helping students. She is more laid back in 452. I would recommend her because with her everything is clear.

This instructor does not recognize the term teacher and her purpose is to assist students.Thinks you should already know it all. Gives students a zero if assignment is not dead on time, there is no way to compromise with this professor. Gives very little assistance if your are not smart enough to know what is expected for any assignment. RUDE!

Had her for NRS 482. No other professor to take, so don't bother looking. She was rude, disgustingly belligerent, and plain lazy as an instructor. this was my second research class and by far the worst job of teaching ever. No guidance or instruction and if we bothered to ask a question, it was met with cynicism and scoffed at. Avoid this one!

Exams are alright, but she is not helpful when it comes to the research paper. You are given one chance to submit a copy for feedback, which was pointless. She doesn't even give you appropriate ways to improve your paper, so you will still get stuff marked off if it isn't exactly what she wants.

Awful. Almost no true instruction. No audio lectures. Just publisher PPT and "read to yourself." OU online classes are just horrid. Dr. Newton seemed genuinely surprised that her PPT on the paper was insufficient. Needs to TEACH writing by example, rather than just destroying the sincere effort without any teaching.

She's useless and condescending and needs to get off her high horse. Class was only 2 credits but I'm thoroughly disappointed with it. Quizzes are too heavily weighted for time given to take it and just when you think you've followed all her instructions for the paper to a T, you find out otherwise after receiving your grade. AVOID HER IF YOU CAN.

Dr. Newton is by far one of the worst professors I have ever had. Its like taking time to actually teach her students something is far too much to ask of her. She grades way to harshly considering the lack of effort she puts in. Emailing her is almost a waste of time as she gives empty responses and always directs you to a non-helpful book.

Worst professor ever. It seems like she wants everyone to do bad. If you do not do things her way she tells you you are wrong. She is judgmental and rude. She grades so unfairly and she is not willing to help at all. What she teaches in class is different than how she grades assignments. Avoid her at all costs. She is a terrible teacher/person.

Run, don't walk, run from this one. Completely worthless as far as teaching. She's non-participatory in the class. Grading is arbitrary, no rubric, conflicting instructions, vague expectations...just incredible. And worst of all, won't teach you anything, even if you are asking for clarification of something vague. Dismisses the questions. Unreal.

I knew her reputation before taking the class, but all nursing courses are assigned so I had no choice. I figured if I worked hard it would be fine. This is the first class I've ever taken (in my life, and I have prior degrees) that I am just barely passing. She is really inconsistent with how she grades and very rude to students, shocking so.

Dr. Newton is not as bad as everyone seems to think. The first day, I was terrified of her but she lightens up as the semester continues. The grades are very unclear and she is tough. My grade was lower than I wanted it to be BUT the bottom line is now that i'm done with the class I know my stuff. Midterm and final are super easy, the rest is not.

I have a lot of respect for Doctor Newton. She is very clear and concise. If she says to do something, you MUST do it. Honestly, don't let her ratings intimidate you. The material isn't tough, nor are her exams. Take a moment to think about what the main purpose of this class is. Once you grasp that idea, it will all come to you.

She really seems to enjoy belittling students, it's puzzling. I sat in the front of class and would watch classmates go up and talk to her, and she would always get this cruel smirk on her face while pointing out (not subtly) how dumb she thought they were. Grading rubric is very vague but she comes down like a sledgehammer. Avoid her if you can!

For a professor teaching the basis of research in nursing, she does little to actually teach the basics. Her style of teaching is to tell you to read a text. She does no actual teaching. If taking her online, like I did, she will ask for a draft of papers. It will take her weeks to return this. It will be returned with chicken scratches in red ink.

Professor starts her class off on the wrong foot in sending everyone an email as to how to address her, Dr. Newton only. She seems pretty content in failing students. Tells you what you write in papers and then marks you off for putting what she said. Blocked students from communicating with each other via email. Cannot please her. Good luck!!

Newton has good & interesting lectures & her 2 exams are straightforward. But her assignments... ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. People aren't passing the class, our class had as low as a 15%. She tries to cut down the cohort # by stressing them out to the point where they drop out.

Dr. Newton is very knowledgeable in the nursing discipline; however, she does not help students when they have questions regarding assignments. There are 2 exams that are pretty straightforward except the true and false (read carefully), 2 group projects (paper & presentation), and 1 individual assignment. She critiques assignments in detail.

Of all of my classes this semester, I be receiving the lowest grade in her class. however of all my my professors, Dr Newton was my favorite. I learned the most in her class and I developed great respect for her. I've never been graded so strictly in my entire educational career. Put in the effort and you will see good things come of it. Dr Newton comes across as rude and condescending towards students. She refuses to answer questions, so you basically have to figure everything out on your own. What makes it more difficult is the fact that the "grading rubric" for assignments is vague and ambiguous. She is an incredibly difficult grader, especially on care plans and EBP papers.

Comes off very intimidating and scary in the beginning. She made me fear my future in the program, however as the semester went on, she turned out to be a wonderful professor. She is a great lecturer and throws in some of her own stories to expand on the material. . Personally, she answered all of my questions and helped with assignments. Be kind

She seems really mean but she's actually really nice and she's cool. She will rip apart your care plans and EBP's if you don't follow every single little step. She doesn't provide clear instructions on the Care Plan but students do tend understand they made silly mistakes when they get them back. Out of all my classes this is the only less than 94%

YOU MUST DO WELL ON THE EXAMS! She will rip you apart on the Care Plan and the EBP but she is lenient on the group presentation. Grade is comprised of 2 exams 20% each 1 Evidence Based paper 20% 1 Nursing Care Plan 20% and 1 Group Presentiation 20%. Average grade to expect on EBP and careplan is a 50%. I'm not kidding.

Like everyone else said she's a very tough grader when it comes to the NCP and EBP but her exams are very straight forward. She will probably intimidate you in the beginning but she's not a bad professor, she's actually very likable. It's not impossible to pass the class as long as you put in the effort.

Do not let the negative comments scare you. She is tough but she is trying to produce competent nurses. The tests are easy. She grades the NCP and the EBP hard but ASK HER QUESTIONS! Seriously. I e-mailed her a lot asking her a ton of questions and she answered every one and I did good on both. She is lenient on the presentation

The NCP she teaches you will be different from the NCP you learn in your other classes, I believe she is a great nurse in real life but she needs to understand that she is teaching a first semester of nursing class and can't expect a graduate level writing. I am an A student but all I cared about was passing for this one. RIP to the next cohort.

Started the semester off w/ a pop quiz the 2nd week. She no longer assigns NCP(s), she gives pop quizzes instead. They were straight forward but the first one brought a lot of people down- they weren't prepared. Presentation grading is lenient. EBP paper is the hardest part. Exams are from lecture mostly and some reading. I aimed to pass this class

She was intimidating at first but I loved her by the end of the semester. She replaced her NCP assignment with 2 pop quizzes, which are straight forward IF YOU'RE PREPARED. Exams are straight from her notes. EBP paper is toughest part but follow the example she posts. Group presentation is easy. Class is not weighted and is based on points earned.

I really didnt enjoy this class. Her grading criteria was terrible. She had an EBP paper and gave many people I know below 70s! And this was worth 20% of our grade! The papers couldnt have been that bad! She is sassy but has a somewhat likeable personality at times. U need to read the book to pass! She like to pick lil details! Beware of pop Qs!

LOVE her. She is tough but it is because she wants you to learn. Follow her directions explicitly and do not deviate. She is willing to help if you reach out and you show you are truly trying to learn. She has a heart of gold and will spend ample time talking with you and helping you connect the dots. Not everyone gets to see this side of her

Dr. Newton can be very intimidating. She is a tough grader and expects a lot out of first semester nursing students. With that being said, she is one of the best professors in regards to her lecture. She definitely knows what she is talking about. Just be aware of pop quizzes, her EBP paper, and presentation. Ask any questions you can!

Don't miss even one day! because you miss one of the pop quizzes and your grades is screwed. Nothing is weighted and the class is just your points added up and divided by 100. The class itself isn't that hard and Exams aren't bad. However, she grades the EBP beyond harshly. Good luck.

Newton took this class and made it way harder than it needed to be. There were tricky unfair pop quizzes, two exams, an insanely long group paper which she graded unbelievably hard and then a group presentation. At first the class seems easy because there aren't many assignments but second half of the semester was insane.

First half of the semester was a breeze. The second half was horrible. A midterm 25%, a final 25%, a group presentation 20%, EBP paper 20%, ATI 5% and a homework assignment 5% are what determines your grade. Makes this class way harder than it is. Grades the EBP paper harsh and subjective. Follow her directions. Hope for good grades.

Class is 2 exams, 1 assignment, ATI test, a group EBP paper& group presentation. No pop quizzes. First half of class is just lectures and not bad. Group ppt not bad, EBP graded very harshly. Email her often and ask questions+follow sample! Dr. Newton is a great lecturer, however as others have stated, follow directions on exactly what she wants.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from her. She will ruin your grade for one research paper even if you had a good grade, she will drop your grade based on how she wants to grade the paper even if you follow her directions "explicitly", she will still mark you down. Do not recommend her to anyone.

Its like heaven has touch down on Earth! She is a completely different teacher now. I almost cried when I had to retake her again for a new nursing class. Her new teaching style now makes her one of the best. I feel confident that I can write a paper with my eyes closed & trust thats big for me to say. If you plan to go to grad school TAKE HER!

Dont know why this lady is teaching. Grades very harshly. Ruins your grade even when nothing was wrong with your assignments (paper worth a B a D- to her). Nitpicks at tiny tiny things to make you fail. Extra credit only if you buy it on ATI and its only 1 point. Stay away. She is bitter, cold, & entitled. Rude & will not help you at all.

dropped my grade from a A to a C+ the last day of class due to her extremely harsh grading on my final paper. I asked multiple times to write a different topic and she would not allow it. Despite Professor Newton's bad reviews, I actually enjoyed my class with her. I thought she was very clear in the expectations of this course. We had a final paper where we could turn in our draft to her beforehand. This was very helpful as she edited your paper in great detail! She tells you exactly what you need to fix for the final draft!

Professor Newton gets a bad rep, I was warned about how hard of a grader she is and how strict she is. That was not my experience at all, she comes off as strong and stern, but after a few lectures it's obvious that she has a good sense of humor and wants us to do well. She sets clear expectations and if you follow them it's fairly easy to do well.

I was told Professor Newton was a horrible professor and that she grades very harshly. Despite her coming off as intimidating at first, overtime you realize she is just passionate about research. She truly wants you to succeed and gives you helpful feedback for every assignment. If you want to do well in this class, I recommend taking her!

Sarah Newton is hands down the WORST professor ever. She is a very harsh grader and she sends degrading emails to her students. She makes you purchase a bunch of textbooks and tests you on ridiculous things. I am normally a straight A student and I almost failed this class because of her. STAY CLEAR of Sarah Newton. Trust me.

She gives 3 quizzes which are directly from her lectures - do not worry about the book. Follow her directions to a T and you'll be fine for the final paper. She may seem intimidating but she is just super straightforward and blunt. If you ask her to explain something, she is willing to help. Very prompt on emails too!

Didn't use the textbook. Pay attention in lecture and you'll pass her quizzes easily. She'll give EC for random things. Very specific about the final paper-you can turn in a rough draft as many times as you want before the final is due. I got a 99.7% on my paper after a few edits and two meetings with her. Address her only as Dr. Newton!!!

Despite Professor Newton's bad reviews, I actually really liked her. She is a tough grader, however her expectations are crystal clear, so it is really up to you on what grade you get. The quizzes are not too difficult and based on what she explains in lecture so be sure to go. The final paper is not too bad, she gives you the exact edits u need!

Very confusing and unclear about directions for the final paper. Wants you to be detailed but won't read your paper if it goes over the page limit. She messed up on the grading on one of my assignments and said I could meet with her but she would not change my grade. This class is a waste of time for the nursing program.

Dr. Newton is very knowledgeable about research, but isn't great at teaching. She isn't able to simplify the material if you have trouble understanding it, and is an overly critical grader. I utilized the feedback she provided on my rough draft, and she found more wrong with my final draft. I've always been a very strong writer but barely passed.

Dr. Newton's expectations are clear, but my issue is with her teaching ability & harshness with grading. Even following the corrections she made on my rough draft, I almost failed (3.8 gpa). The amount of information she expects in the paper is unrealistic, since the maximum length is 8 pages including the title & reference pages. Do not recommend.

Don't expect her to stick around after class if you have questions. Sends rude emails and answers questions in a sarcastic manner. Quizzes are confusing. Instructions for paper are clear but is a very tough grader. This class shouldn't be a nursing requirement. The SON needs to take course evaluations/feedback and concerns seriously.

It is no secret that Dr. Newton is knowledgable in research, however her expectations are through the roof. I followed the instructions for the essay perfectly and still managed to get multiple points taken off for the silliest reasons. I don't recommend taking her if you have the choice.

Dr. Newton was a terribly hard person to understand what she wanted from the group projects. The exams were a hit or miss on the information she was wanting you to study. You have to know the littlest details of things on the lectures. The group projects are very harsh and majority of your grade. For exams, good luck.

Despite Dr. Newton's reviews, this class was not too difficult. Quizzes were fairly easy. Claims to be a tough grader, but gave us the edits we needed for the final paper, and graded us very fairly. Lectures can be boring, but she is funny and cares about her students! Take her over Eisenhauer!!!

Definitely the prof you want for this class. Very passionate about research. Lectures can drag a little but she is caring & wants you to succeed. Go to class. She said we needed the textbook but I barely used it. Grade consists of 3 quizzes, an APA assignment and a final paper. Follow directions for final paper to a tee and you will be fine.

Definitely take this professor over the other option. Her quizzes are not too hard if you pay attention to her lectures and review them before the test. The final paper is 30% of final grade and each of the 3 quizzes is 20%. There is an easy reference page assignment that is 10% of the grade. She is very passionate about the class.

Dr. Newton is very nice and is open to answering questions. She sets clear expectations, and the quizzes are based off of the content she discusses, so reading was not necessary but can be helpful. It is a hard class, but Dr. Newton seemed to be the best option. She gives very good feedback on the rough draft and provides examples.

DONT TAKE HER!! she was so rude!! The class was graded on a midterm, group presentation, group essay, and final. You need to do good on the exams in order to pass the class because she destroys your essay and presentation. Her exams weren't bad as long as you went to class and studied. Also if she gives the opportunity for extra credit DO IT.

Was amazed how an "intro to professional nursing" professor was so unprofessional towards her students. There were multiple instances where she was very rude in class. The only thing that she grades that isn't group work were the midterm and final exam. Everything else in the class is group projects that she grades very harshly.

Dr. Newton can be strict but if you pay attention to her lectures and study the material (focus on her PPTs) her exams are straightforward. She is very strict about the group paper/presentation. She is very good professor at the Oakland university, she cares the student, looks tough in the class but when you meet in person she is very good listen you like your childhood friend . Dr. Newton was really awesome for research for evidence based nursing practice. She has three quizzes and one final paper. The reference assignment is easy, quizzes come from her PPTs and for the paper, she allows a draft before final submission so I would use that to your advantage! She is passionate about research & is willing to help if you ask!

Dr. Newton took over 2 hours to go over a 15 slide powerpoint consistently. She gave us very few assignments: a powerpoint and an essay, neither of which had clear directions. She is a very tough grader because of this. She is not understanding or available to her students for questions.

Do NOT take Dr. Newton!! Class is only made up of 3 assignments, 2 exams. Which she will fail you even if you have the most perfect paper. She is not understanding and will not listen to what you have to say. She degrades nursing students and makes them feel bad about themselves. Sadly Newton was the only option for NRS 2012. She is a very tough grader. It's as if she doesn't want anyone to succeed in the class. Very finicky and strict. Dr Newton is a strict and by-the-book nurse. She is very passionate about nursing research. The class is based on 2 exams and 3 group assignments. Only cares about having her way. A student was marked down for their clothing and using pictures for their presentation. She is petty and semantic grader. Exams aren't bad but the group work is graded harshly. Said on the first day that she "doesn't care" if a member of your group does nothing, they get the same grade. Her bad reviews are deserved.

This class is a waste of time. It's frustrating that Dr. Newton makes it hard in addition to it being a waste of time. She grades extremely tough with litter instructions. The only groups that I know who got A's constantly went to office hours to convince her they were trying and deserved good grades.

I was worried about taking Dr. Newton after reading her Ratemyprofessor ratings, however she was a good professor! Class is a midterm, final, reference list assignment, group paper and group project. Midterm and final were from her PP's. For a good grade for presentation/paper follow her specific guidelines and go to her office hours for feedback.

Dr. Newton is one of those old school, my way or the highway professors. Her exams are extremely straight-forward and based off her slides. For the paper and RLA, though, good luck. The presentation she tells you what to do in office hours. Not the hardest, but not the easiest either.

Dr. Newton is not as bad as people make her sound. She is just very "by the book" and old school. When doing the paper and ppt, DONT save it for the last minute, and follow the instructions EXACTLY. The exams are super straightforward- straight from the PowerPoints. Do well on the exams so you have some cushion if you do bad on the group stuff.

Dr. Newton isn't as bad as everyone makes it seems. Be prepared to work in groups. As long as you make an effort to meet with her during office hours, she will guide you in the right direction. Very heavy on if its not her way its completely wrong. All I can say is go to class and take detailed/word for word notes, triple check project outlines over and over again especially with APA format of sources/paper outline FINISH your final paper early and set up a meeting with her to have her look over it! Her grading is an absolute nightmare. I genuinely do not think she wants people to succeed. I went to the office hours, emailed, went to lecture, and performed very well on the exams, but the essay grading was completely unjustified. She is not willing to hear you out or teach how to do better, she gives critiques and is unavailable besides that.

She has very strict grading standards and seems indifferent to her students' success. She does not teach anything useful or relevant. When she Announces Grades, she does not provide the Test Papers for students to review mistakes. Additionally, she decides how many students pass or fail.

She is a strict grader and doesn't curve, even if many students do poorly. Most test questions are tricky true/false statements, and short-answer questions require exact answers matching her key. For group projects, her grading was so strict that half the groups failed, making it feel like she didn't want us to succeed.

Only 5 total grades in the grade book (midterm being the first grade), if you do bad on one thing, you are kinda screwed. One of the assignments is an EBP. She tells us we have never written one before, then does not teach us how to, and proceeds to give half the class a failing grade. Avoid this class at all costs. She does not want you to succeed

While I understand the bad reviews that Dr. Newton has received, she is not a bad person as some reviews suggest. She's an old-school, type A nurse who is very passionate about nursing research. She does struggle to see the educational gap between undergraduates and herself, but she will help you. Just talk to her, her intelligence is admirable

Professor Newton does not care about the students. The only reason that you will pass is through good testing. The paper is harshly graded and you get no feedback from meeting with her. But if you don't meet with her you will get less than a 50%.

initially appeared straightforward but became challenging 2 confusing exams were unrelated to class material. To pass the course, achieve at least 75% on the midterm and final, despite any project effort or frustration about an exam. The grading is 50% for exams and 50% for projects. You can only pass based on exam scores. If you perform poorly on the exams, don't focus on the project effort - she fails you. She knows how to get the average of the course.

Dr. Newton doesn't seem to care when students struggle. Office hours are a joke. I pay tuition to get help and she does not accommodate you. Her "teaching style" is showing us slides that she reads aloud . It's like we're paying to listen to someone read instead of actually learning. Avoid this class at all costs if you value your GPA or sanity!

I appreciate that she took the time to meet with student groups. However, after making changes based on her feedback, our group was still graded very harshly. She focused too much on minor issues and didn't acknowledge the effort we put in. She often came across as condescending, as if we didn't know anything. Very stressful class/bad experience.

I do not recommend taking her. Insanely harsh grader, gives feedback that changes everytime you meet with her. You're treated as if you have a PHD and 30 years of research experience. This professor will not provide you with feedback because she views it as "violating academic integrity". Do NOT ask questions as they will be met with attitude or a passive aggressive comment. Most students cannot choose their professor for this course, so be ready to get stuck with her and have your GPA drop. SHAME ON OAKLAND FOR ALLOWING THIS!

You are graded on like four assignments and in order to actually be graded on those four assignments you need to get at least 75% on both exams. If you don't, then you automatically fail the class. Most of her lectures are just her reading the slides and then talking about how she was a transplant nurse. She gives no feedback whatsoever, good luck!

Professor newton is not that bad. I didnt do well on the first exam but I did better on the second one. The final was more broad and easier then the midterm. You are graded by 4 things. The slides help alot, and non of the required readings are on the exam at all. Actually make sure you understand her content not just memorize because it wont help.
