Very flexible and fair. Her tests are all multiple choice. SHe was very helpful and flexible on the book assignments and the web page. I would take her again - an easy A.
She was soo boring. Used only PowerPoint slides. If you take good notes from your book you will do well on the test. Not helpful at all on the book assignments.
Really difficult to understand her accent. She is really easy, though. Find someone in the class who knows what they are doing and ask them the questions instead of her.
took her for Computer Application.. Since the class is hybrid, I only saw her the first day of class. Everything else was online.. Really, you didn't even need a professor, all the test, and hw were online.

Very helpful and offers a lot of extra credit. She does have a slight accent but is not an obstacle, especially if you are really interested in the subject. Considerate of others and genuinely cares for students. Heavy book use; buy it and read. Her tests are very hard, but helpful for Grad School; part M/C part written. Teaches straight from book.
She's ok. Read the book and take notes form it and the online resources she outline. This is a class for independent students, because her lectures aren't easy to understand, but book is easy understand and she is willing to answer questions.
Not great, not terrible. Her speech is hard to understand so the powerpoints are useless. Basically have to teach yourself. Still, if you have a question she'll do her best to help you even on tests. Assignments and tests are not that hard.
She knows how to program, but she doesn't do a good job at transmitting her knowledge. She bases her lectures off of power points and expects you to read every chapter assigned to understand the material, its a teach yourself kinda course. You wont really know what will be on the quiz/test because there isn't an outline. Just learn everything! lol
The class is all based on powerpoints. She is difficult to understand but the class is rather easy if you just read the textbook. If you ask for help, she'll help you. The online part of the texts and quizzes are easy. The written part is difficult.
RUN!!! She's nice and helpful but if you're not a CS major this class is TOUGH. Even my CS major friends said she was hard. You have to teach yourself everything to BARELY get by. Her lectures aren't much of a help either.
One of the nicest professors I have had, but a terrible teacher. She is extremely difficult to understand. She is willing to help but at times was unable to understand exactly what we were asking. You are better off taking this course online than with her!
Very hard class for non CS majors!! If you have no prior knowledge of programming, I would find a friend to help you or be prepared to spend at least 2 hours a week or more in the lab with the TA's. Gives full credit for the assignments, if you really try. Very hard to understand her lectures. Less than half the class stays for them.
Pretty good teacher. She's very nice and will work with you. She has some what of an accent but it's understandable. She mainly just goes over power points and answers questions but I feel like she should be able to answer specific questions being that she is a college professor.
Does not speak with coherent thoughts. She flies through the powerpoint lecture. All this class consists of is individual and group powerpoint presentations instead of her really teaching the topics and making sure we understand. Will not actually answer any questions asked.
She reads ppts then gives you free time to do assignments, no examples are given. She can't answers questions without the TA. Do not take as you need the best possible foundation in Java and having a vague teacher with incredibly difficult test wont give you an idea of if you are cut out for this field.
She reads through the PPTS, she doesn't write the program in Eclipse or JGrasp to walk us through the concepts, she just pulls the file off her USB, not very helpful. She gives a lot of extra credit. When someone asks a question she looks very confused and ends up asking the TA.
Avoid at all costs. Class is 2h45m long. She spends 30m reading ppts then lets you work on assignments. When students ask her questions, she has to get an aid or another student to help. Her knowledge is very limited. Good luck guessing what is going to be on the test. Information from chapters not yet covered appears on her quizzes. GPA dropper.
Nice lady. She does not teach the material though. She blazes through outdated powerpoints and skips most of the important points. The tests are pretty easy, BUT you must learn everything by reading and doing the exercises in the textbook. The textbook actually does a really good job presenting the material.
Sarah North is a great professor and is very knowledgeable in Computer Science. There is a minor language barrier but she is still a great teacher who helps with assignments (puts the answers on the board), has entertaining lectures, and usually ends class early so students can work on their programs. She is by far the best CS2301 professor at KSU.

Aside from the course, which is really directed towards business/sales people and not CS people, the teach has great difficulty speaking and writing in the English language. Occasionally, she writes her own quiz/exam questions, and they are incomprehensible to someone fluent in English. Completely unacceptable for her to do this.
Absolute worst professor Ive ever had. Teaches by half way reading power points (which have many errorswrong info) then tests and quizzes on stuff never covered. On the off chance she does an example she constantly asks "Right?" and often has to be corrected by a student that knows the proper way to do what she's teaching.
Do not take her if you actually want to learn java. She doesn't explain anything and your quizzes and tests are on things that don't matter and also are never covered. She never explains any code she just runs it without telling what different code does. Take Shaw if you can and actually want to learn.
Don't know how there are positive comments for this professor. She doesn't explain things, she isn't clear, and she doesn't help! Tests are opposite from lectures and the only way you'll pass with a good grade is either luck on multiple choice questions or by getting on her good side. Ive never heard anyone say they think she's a good professor
Course required almost no effort. Assignments were always the exact same. No effort was required to complete assignments. VERY repetitive. If not for the text book I would have learned literally nothing. If you value your education take a different professor.

Group project was great to work with the team since teacher give an opportunity to select our own topics beside the list she provided. D2L, Learning Management system was well organized and easy to follow. The teacher worked very hard to place all the materials on the system. Excellent teacher! :-)
I enjoyed the CS 3530 OS class. Very important course. Learn a lot. Assignments were very hard, however she explained very well and grading of the assignments was fair. Dr. North is very respected by students. She is highly professional and cares fro students. Thanks for the great class!!

I've taken two of her courses because there wasn't an alternative, but she's pretty terrible. You're paying for an A. Coursework is too easy. She doesn't lecture. You're better off reading the book on your own time and skipping classes. Having said that, she's a wonderful person and she's happy to help. But there's no rigor to her courses.

The CS 3530 OS course was Online. It was clear from day first of the course. Everything was on D2L. All the assignment were clearly described. Dr. North, is a great communicator, grade the assignments on time, and respond to the e-mail very quickly. Lecture recording is very helpful too. Great class.
CS 2301 was very awesome class. Learned a lot in this course. I had no idea about the programming, but with Dr. North's guide course went very smoothly. Reasonable assignments and lab work was a great support of the course and tests. I would recommend Dr. North's class to everyone. Thanks
Sweet and kind lady but horrendous at actually teaching. Prepare to educate yourself and rely on those around you for help - she is not a good professor at all. It's an easy A if you have some background in comp science, I did not and I was taking an introductory course. She assumes you ready know what she does.

The OS simulation helped me to understand the behavior of Linux OS. Well structured course using d2l. I worked very hard work to earn the good grade!! Dr. North is wonderful communicator and tries very much to make sure you understand the subject matter. It is students decision to learn or not... Great course...
Dr. North is a very kind person, but she's not a good teacher. She doesn't seem to understand the content and she rambles a lot. Whenever I asked for homework help, she would either explain something obvious or just tell me to turn it in as it was. It was an easy A, but I didn't retain or understand the material, which could come back to haunt me.
Easy class, turn in the work and it is an A. Not very clear, she has an accent that makes it a bit difficult to understand. Didn't really learn anything in the class, but it's an easy A if you turn in all the work. Group Project was make a game, not difficult.
She is there if you need help but you can figure things out on your own. The book will help you understand it more. She had 8 modules, discussions, & 2 tests. Really need to know the material on test. On the test, its multi-choice and LA that has to be 150 words count. Make sure you do every assign. to get a decent grade or you will fail.
Great class! We had to work on the Java code, which I had no idea before the course . I learn how to write java codes and design a game. Dr. North had a clear instructions and great motivators... She was a very helpful and awesome teacher. I hope I am able to take her course again...
The course content was a good introduction to java and programming in general. The D2L page was laid out nicely and everything was well organized. I never had to worry about figuring out when things were due because it was all on D2L. The material itself was a good difficulty level. Dr. North is a great teacher. Love her class..
I took UI online over the summer. Not too many assignments. Just one per week and one discussion post per week. The tests contain mix of short answers, multiple choice and true/false. I guess she's an easy grader. Didn't receive much feed back on assignments, but received full points on all of them. :)

User Interface Engineering was an online class I took as a major elective. It was an easy class, but I did learn a lot. Dr. North demands individual projects be completed every other week (programming projects), so that was fun. Always responds quickly, wants her students to succeed. Definitely take her class when you can.
This class isn't difficult at all. Simply turn in your assignments (and I mean just turn them in) and come to class and you got an A. Tests/quizzes may prove "more difficult" but use the book and you should get an A on those too. She doesn't teach you anything, all that you learn will be from doing the modules yourself. Nice woman. Chill class.

Professor North is a sweetheart, but as a professor she's perhaps a bit lacking. Her test questions can be hard to understand as English is not her first language. Her assignments are fairly simple, and will often provide source code that makes them trivial. If you do what is asked of you and turn it in on time, you will get an A easily.
The CS 1302 is a hard course. Dr. North explained the materials with ease and made the hard concepts simple so we can understand! She knows programming very well. I will take her course again...
If you are looking to get an easy A, take the class. If you are looking to learn something, dont take this class. She told us attendance would affect our grade, but everyone got a 100 on the attendance.
Dr. North clearly cares about students' success and learning. She is very polite and respectful and is there to help you. Her material is straight forward and is graded very clearly. Her classes are not an intense workload usually, but you end up learning a lot and getting a good grade. What more could you ask for?
I have had two classes with Dr. North and she is the best teacher I ever had.... If you try you will learn a lot, if you don't try you won't . Also unlike most professors I have had questions from her and she will do her best to answer the question with the real life example and she will check with you again to make sure you got it...
The course was absolutely one of the best course I ever had at Kennesaw State. Learned a lot from Dr. North. Thanks to her as I learned how to do research project. The CC 4712 User Interface Engineering was the most enjoyable class Ive had a kennesaw by far.
Class was typically cut short by well over half of the time allowed. Really nice, knows her stuff, but doesn't create a serious learning environment.
Had her for two classes. First time for CS1301 and now this class. Both online. Great teacher. You should read and listen to lectures if you want to pass. Mainly need to remember to put comments on lines of code and know how to archive the files to submit.
DO NOT TAKE. Gives NO feedback. Does not understand English well and is hard to communicate with. Accuses students of cheating; gives zero credit for answers when they don't match to a T. Over half your grade relies on two tests that she grades incorrectly with no feedback. Does not stick to syllabus. Will NEVER take this professor again.
I had a few courses with Dr. North and she is the best teacher, caring and you learn a lot if you want to learn . She is willing to help if you have any questions, she will respond quickly and provide you detail information. Dr. North is amazing!
I had Dr. North for CS 1302. She provided great clear feedback. She provide an opportunities to make the corrections on the coding. I learned a lot in her class. Programming course is not an easy course. But her D2L organization, structure, and clear instructions made the course enjoyable.
Professor North is nice and her assignments are fairly straightforward but throughout the class she provides you with resources to complete your assignments but then penalizes you for using them. Somewhat confusing class layout. She does let you fix mistakes on modules but the final is a large percentage of your grade and no chance for corrections.

I can honestly say that I haven't learned much from this class at all. The online course material was so confusing to navigate. Doesn't understand English well and it shows in her email responses. Doesn't pay attention at all to submissions and will require you to present proof you worked with someone in a group to receive credit.
Dr. North is absolutely fabulous! She gives lots of assignments but all of them prepare you for the tests. She also gives lots of optional assignments, I recommend you do them all, because they only help your grade. There is also a large research paper, but it's not difficult. Overall, I completely recommend to take Dr. North!
She really knows what she's talking about and will help you with anything you need to be successful in that class. You do labs in class which in turn help you do the homework.
Dr. North is one of those professors who really cares about her students. She will take extra time to make sure that you really understand the material, and she is very accommodating. She's not the best professor when you're truly trying to learn a subject but she tries. I feel like most of her grades are based on effort so as long as you turn something in then you'll get an A but her feedback could be a little more precise. Dr. North is a kind professor, but this Intro to Database Class was terrible. There are only 2 exams. The first exam was not until after withdrawal date. The study guide was extremely vague and didn't include everything that was asked on the test. Also duplicate questions for some reason. Spent 8 hrs studying for no reason.
AVOID. Does not write or speak English well. Tests are on subjects she did not cover. Does not go over subjects, chapters, or examples in lectures. Test questions are vague and not taught. Tests are lockdown. Gets mad when her students criticize her. She does not know databases at all and asks her students for help. Test average C. AVOID
Do not take this person for Database. She has no idea how the assignments work, includes irrelevant resources, test guides don't even relate to the test, doesn't put any effort into her quizzes, grades incredibly hard, 20% off if you turn stuff a minute late even with a valid excuse. Save yourself a lot of pain and take someone else.
Dr. North is a very nice lady, but her written English isnt that great so quiz and homework questions were unclear. She doesnt know databases that well, so if you have specific questions youre better off looking on the internet or asking another professor. She means well, but she was not prepared for this course this semester. Avoid for DBS!
Prof. North is very nice but I feel as if her lectures lacked quality. She seemed to just read from pre-made slides and hardly went further than that. All quizzes and tests seemed to be pulled from online and covered material not taught in the class. You can study for them and still do poorly. The assignments had unclear instructions. Webcam needed

Compare to other classes, I like the structure of this class because she gives an actually recorded lecture than just something straight out of the PowerPoint. She has a clear grading rubric and as long as you do the work then you will pass the class. Awesome professor

I have a hard time understanding what she is trying to say. She talks very rapidly and just jumps all over the material. Causing her to mix up details during lecture. It comes across that she does not know the material because students will correct her assertions and she changes her previous claim. I have a 3.92 gpa and scored 50% on her 2nd quiz
She seems to know what she's talking about when it comes to every other class, but man, do not take Intro to Database Systems online with her. Class material was all clunky outdated powerpoints, quizzes were only 10q long and were about minor techincalities so it was easy to mess up. You probably don't need 3410 so steer clear of at least that one.

Dr. Sarah North is hard to rate on a scale. She's a great person and cares a lot about student participation. However, the vague instructions provided with the assignments made them far more stressful than they needed to be. Additionally, she didn't always explain things clearly during the lectures. She's a mixed bag but still an ok professor.
Some of us put in a lot of effort for the project and got an A, others did almost nothing and got an A. Quiz 6 was the hardest. Final was easy. If you email her and ask her about the project, she will make it sound like she will spend any time looking at your code. She doesn't. Make it look good and follow your gut. Don't over think anything.

Her lecture is no good. she habitually tells students to refer to study all the links, textbook and her lecture. her lecture notes and assignment are no good. Fund to hear she says SQL is case senstive. she cannot explain DBMS concepts clearly. Her department should assess her 'true knowlege and skill" in DBMS or send her back to school.
I like the structure, lectures as she refer to important points of the course. Dr. North is knowledgeable about Database and actually recorded lecture are summary of the textbook that is a great help. Terrible teacher! Knows NOTHING about databases. She gives an assignment in which we have to make an ER diagram and then says that everything was done wrong and the answer should have been a UML diagram. A database professor doesn't know that an ER diagram and a UML diagram are not the same!!! Really??? She is a disgrace to this university.
All her quizzes contain questions from modules that we have not yet studied from topics that we learn about 2 weeks later. She herself doesn't know the subject she teaches. Avoid her. If you don't know anything about databases, you'll get the wrong information, if you're already familiar with the subject like I am, you'll be confused and frustrated
Professor North's online course was pretty manageable. While the quiz/test questions may not match notes 100%, they are not as bad as you would think. The group projects were explained fairly well, just make sure you have good teammates because it takes a fair amount of work
She never explicitly responds to student emails. No matter how detailed you are in the email, you will only get one response "Please review the document", throughout the school year and that's all she replied to me. Her quizzes sometimes include questions from the next chapter that you haven't studied yet. Avoid her if you can.
I took Ms. North again this semester, she's really nice! I did try extremely hard in this class, and I got 100s on basically everything except for the quizzes and tests which were 70s and 80s. She's a very easy grader, for the group project it was meant for 5 but I did it all alone. You need to make a lexer, parser and executor. Get started early.
She is extremely nice and friendly and willing to help you out. Her tests involve lockdown browser + webcam, but most of them are true or false and come from her lectures. As long as you have a basic understanding of the lecture, you will be fine. Assignments are very simple and she is very kind on grading the group project.
I have pleasure working under her. Good Professor gives extra time for Assignments. Provides Text books as well as her own materials .
She's horrendous at web development, and her teaching relies on 10+ year outdated technology, so don't take this class if you expect to learn new web-dev practices. Her assignments are horrible, and have tons of contradicting ways to submit them. She emails back, but she's not helpful/vague. She gives 100's for each assignment based on completion.
Class is just a mishmash of broken links and zip files that have little to do with the assignments. Assignment instructions are vague but they're graded on completion so its an easy A. Dr. North is nice enough, but doesn't seem to read emails/assignments very carefully so if you need help you're on your own.
Honestly one of the best online classes I've ever taken at KSU. She posts great lecture videos every week instead of just posting the powerpoints like most profs. Gives you great feedback on the assignments. Would take Dr. North classes again.
Professor North is the worst teacher I've had a KSU so far. She knows nothing about Databases. I'm baffled by how she got the job and even more by how she got a Ph.D. She covers 60+ slides of material in 20 minutes and asks questions on her quizzes from material we learn 2 weeks later. She fakes most of her reviews as well. Avoid her at all costs!!
You are on your own to take her courses. She cannot answer basic questions in key concepts. No clear guidance from her when you need it.

I just finished all my work with Professor North. She is a real gem of a teacher. Involves you with course activities and makes extra effort to be fair. I would without a doubt take a class with her again. I would recommend to take her course as she motivate you to work hard. She will give you feedback and help you to think to be curious.
Dr. Sarah North is one of the best KSU professor that I had ever. She care and provide mass of information and make sure you are able to understand the content behind the module. Her lecture is full of information. You just need to read the textbook, search to get to know the database. I would take the course again next semester.
Dr. North is kind and personable, but she is not a great lecturer. She doesn't even fully read the slides, and definitely doesn't have anything helpful of her own to add to lectures. The class was an easy A, but I haven't actually learned anything from it because of how lacking it was in content. She's funny and interesting to talk to, though.
Uhh..it's pretty clear she's on here writing fake reviews. If her tests & quizzes weren't so unnecessarily obscure and hard, I wouldn't mind taking her again. But, everything is in broken english and there's no way to prepare for them bc the questions come out of nowhere. And she literally doesn't understand your questions or even try to answer thm
She is a nice lady, but not a good teacher. I feel like she does not know what she is teaching us, and I don't think she is knowledgeable enough to teach this class. Her tests are confusing and worded weird and some of the questions don't include the right answer choice. If you actually want to learn, try to find a better teacher.

Only four students consistently showed up to class because her lectures were not useful. She was understanding and fair, just not helpful for our learning. She also fakes her own Rate My Professor reviews.
Great professor. If you want to learn, just follow her guide, and you be fine. Dr. North has very good D2L organized and easy to follow. Will take her class again.
I took Dr. North's online course was pretty manageable and easy to follow her instructions. The group projects were explained very well. We just need to because it takes a fair amount of workers to do the project. Awesome teacher.

Dr. North is one of the best and most caring professors that I have taken here at KSU. She answers her emails right away. Dr. North's D2L is organized and it is easy to follow her materials. Her exams are pretty straightforward. You can read all the slides and textbook. I would highly recommend any courses that she teaches.
Dr. North answers her email quickly. I know if I go to d2l I can locate what I need quickly. I like the group project. If you are ready to read and follow the instructions, you should be fine and get a good grade.

I have her for two classes. She does care about students, but I haven't learned much from this class. I feel like some of the lectures in person are just repeats of what we have talked about and that there isn't much we have really learnt. The assignments are kind of old and outdated, and the group project is just okay. She also fakes her reviews.
Pretty sure most of these "good" reviews are fake, the only good thing about her is that she responds fast to emails and assignments are easy. Other than that, her lectures are literally useless, the work assigned is so badly written its confusing, quizzes and tests over stuff we never covered, and I feel like I haven't learned anything.
Professor North can be hit-or-miss. Her lectures aren't always the most useful, but she's fair and understanding. To succeed, focus on the textbook, attend study sessions, and use tools like unstuckstudy for exam prep.
I'm sure Professor North is nice enough. However, she is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. All assignments and quiz/test questions are written as if put through google translate 15 times. I learned barely anything from this class. Also she obviously fakes reviews on here as they are written in the same broken English her assignments are.
Giving credit where credit is due, Dr. North is very nice and is very accessible outside of class. Unfortunately, that's the only positive things. During lectures she rambles on and on, and lectures are borderline useless. Assignments are extremely poorly written leading to confusion. Every positive review on this site is faked/botted, so beware.
I just finished my semester taking intro to database systems online, and I had a good experience tbh. I had a really busy semester and I like how she provides the materials to learn without overloading her students with too much work. If you're looking for an online cs class I'd personally suggest Dr. North.
Her lectures are so useless I stopped showing up. Her assignments are written horribly. The tests are unbelievably difficult and cover stuff we never go over. She doesn't show the wrong answers on quizzes or tests. The only good thing about her is that shes easy to get a hold of. The good reviews are fake and written in the same way she talks.

I had a few courses with Professor North. She works very hard to make sure you are learning the subject and be able to do the assignments. She also provides detailed feedback, especially on the projects. You will enjoy learning Database. Take her course.
Amazing professor and project - this class was great! She communicated well throughout the semester. She helps students after class if they're struggling. She clearly enjoys what she does. I loved working on some of the projects. I even did a fun project in UIE that was particularly interesting.

Not greatest professor in the world but if you're taking Intro to Databases just put aside a day and take notes from Textbook. Quizzes aren't the greatest but assignments are very easy to get 100s on and the project is extremely easy too. Even if you get 60s on all quizzes/exams you will still finish with a B if you just do the assignments/proj.
I feel like I have learned very little this semester. While the assignments are very easy, the tests and quizzes will keep you from getting an A in this course. The tests/quizzes/assignments are worded awfully and hard to understand. I also think the correct answer has been missing on some problems throughout the semester. I would take someone else
The quizzes might be challenging, but the assignments are great, straightforward to ace. Plus, the project is relatively time-consuming, but a great learning experience. Even if you don't score perfectly on the quizzes and exams, assignments and projects can help you get a good grade. Dr. North is awesome. I will take her course again.
I don't know I didn't like her, her assignments were very messy, lectures felt pretty useless, and I never knew what to study for tests or quizzes. She kept talking about the textbook, but I aint readin all that. That being said, I did get an A, just hated the class.
This class was one of my worst experiences ever. She must fake her reviews. Her lectures are disengaging and useless, as the other reviews state. Assignments are confusing (every single one) as is all her directions, and basically all resources are hard to understand with many grammar and spelling errors. Her tests and quizzes aren't clear either.
This class was great! Her assignment used SQL, which I had never used before, but I know I can use this tool at my internship this Summer. Also, working on the projects was a great experience. You just have to review the resources and read and search. I use W3School, PowerPoint, and a textbook. I am ready for an internship. Thank you, Dr. North.
Dr. North is a great professor. Her assignments are always clear, and tests are not easy, but just study the textbook, and all is in there. She does provide hints and review tests. Of course, all the exams are now on lockdown. Generally easy class; she also makes sure you're prepared for an internship using SQL commands if you review them.

Dr. North is an amazing professor. She helps you with the lab assignments. If you email her, she will help if you are struggling. Learn a lot from her class. I loved working on some of the projects. I even did the extra credit because it was interesting. Will take other courses with her this Fall.
This class was almost completely useless, the lectures were boring and impossible to follow, I got almost no information out of them. I learned all of the content from reading the textbook or from the internet, so if that doesn't appeal to you, don't take this class. Many of the assignments also had unclear instructions.
Her good reviews are fake. The assignments are so confusing and unclear on what is required. Way too much learning material is given, not specific on what exactly we need to know. This class made me second guess my degree choice. Made me feel dumb when it's a class structure/teaching style issue. Truly wish I took this course in person.
Professor struggles to understand the material, and the grading criteria are unclear. I suspect the positive reviews may be fake. Essentially, she isn't teaching effectively, and provides subpar grading. She is also unhelpful when students have questions.
I like Dr. North because she provides great feedback, answers your questions. If you don't read the textbook, it will be hard to do the assignment and take the quiz. She provides a sample question in class that she goes over. I am taking her upper-level course next year.
Gives extra credit and fairly easy assignments, but that's about it. she has two TAs (for a reason). she can't even operate a computer. the tests are lockdown with camera but cheating won't help you anyway cause the test questions either make no sense, have duplicate right answers, or no right answers. her lectures are absolutely useless.
Avoid this professor. She's kind in class, but when students point out that her tests and quizzes have confusing wording, grammar issues, or missing/incorrect answers, she dismisses the concerns and blames students. The only real saving grace is the assignments. The positive reviews are also absurd they're most likely fake.
I'd recommend avoiding this professor you prob won't get higher than a B. The tests and quizzes are often unclear, have wording or grammar issues, and sometimes include missing or incorrect answers. Many students only pass because the TAs grade the assignments (worth 36%). Her teaching and assessments don't meet the level this class deserves.
Honestly, the course was pretty easy. You do a group research project on a topic of your choice, and then the homework is a mix of basic front-end programming and essays. Decent elective to take if you don't mind doing some research. Lectures aren't mandatory and Dr. North was an easy grader. Most important part of the course was the project.
