Nice teacher, good attitude. The only thing I don't like is the 2 absences and then she'll take off points rule she has. Oh, and you have to do three 7 page reports for Gordon Rule req's.

okay, the key to her class is to memorize the bold face in the packet. if it is in bold it will be on the test! so memorizr bold face, names and anything else she tells you and you will do fine!! trust me, do your work and memorize and you can ace her class like i did!

How can you not LOVE Dr Satterfield? She is the nicest teacher I think I've ever had. She tries to make everything easy and understandable, she's always willing to help. I just can't say enough good things about her. I will DEFINATELY be taking another one of her classes!

This teacher is awesome! You go to class, and pay attention and you will pass the tests!! She gives you two 6 page papers and one oral presentation, but they're easy to do. Very smart, very sweet, an overall great professor.

I really enjoyed this class. It was very easy and I really learned a lot. All you have to do is fill in the outline. She tells you what to study and that is all there is to it.

She was a great teacher. I had her for a duel enrollment class making her my first college professor. Her lectures were kind of boring but she provided with a packet that helped with her notes. Make sure to study for her test. She was very much into music and played the flute for our class. Take her!

Great person, excellent teacher, and really loves her field! She's kind and loves helping students and makes class very enjoyable. Lectures get a bit long at times, but the dull moments are bareable. I recommend her to anyone - music majors, art majors, even math majors who need the humanities credits.

An amazing proffesor with some crazy flute skills. She is always there to help. I highly recomend her class.

Dr.Satterfield has a great sense of humor and she is very cool. The work in the other hand is mind blowing. Rarely use textbook but workbook is manditory. To be honesty this is a boring class its just a lot of information to memorize.

Awesome class. She really covers the milestones and highlights of the history of music extremely well, very easy to follow along as long as you take down notes. Overall just one of the nicest professors I've ever met.

As long as you buy her workbook, take down all the key notes, and do your one powerpoint presentation, you past the class.

She was an incredible teacher to have for my first semester of college! She was interested in seeing us pass the class. You DO NOT need the textbook, just her lecture outlines. She shows all of the paintings on the projector. Follow the outlines and get an A. It was a great class to be in.

Dr.Satterfield is the best. The class is straight forward. You only use your textbook to look at the paintings and thats it but you do use the outline booklet every day in that class.She gives a study guide for every test and most of the time she gives extra credit. This class was AMAZING. Be prepared to study the outline she makes. I learned a lot from her class and I did not want it to end!! She is very sweet, thorough, and helpful. You need a book. We only had one power-point presentation to do at the end of the semester.

Professor Satterfield is an Awesome teacher, very easy to follow outline book where all the tests come from. Simple presentation that had to be completed. Took as a mini mester after failing humanities before and had no problems. Highly recommended as a teacher!

I love Dr. Satterfield! She has a really good attitude and is very pleasant. Her outline for Intro to Humanities helped so much. I'm taking her again next semester for Music Appreciation! She has her own textbook for you to write the answers in. Study the definitions and you''ll pass her tests. Super easy super nice super smart. I''m sorry but if you get less than a B then you either didn''t show up or fell asleep.

This is the best teacher ever she is very helpful, she explains everything well as long as you study for the test you will pass her test are the easiest thing ever. I would take this class all over again.

She broke down the longest chapters into easy and short lectures that everyone could understand. She always played different types of music to help us get a feel for what kind of music was a favorite in that period. And she would always help you if you didn't understand something.

100 questions tests. BUT she tells you the list what to learn for the test. It's up to you to study of course, but i always got 102% or 104% on her tests. 1 presentation in front of class, you choose the topic. Very interesting, even for a person who is not into this class. GREAT lectures, DON"T MISS CLASSES. You will know why later)

Dr Satterfield is very straight forward and always there for her students. The criteria is clear and everything is explained very well. She is always available to talk to and is always there for her students. I only wish I could take more classes with her.

Even though my English was poor, she was very helpful for international students. Also when I asked her about another class which I could take without pressure, she recommended another class which was not her class. She asked her students what was the fun elective class for international students. She is the best teacher ever! and a very talented!

The textbook used is a 30 dollar workbook, but you could easily just use a notebook. Her lectures are long, but very entertaining and funny. Offers extra credit, and you're allowed to skip one of the tests.

Dr. Satterfield is one of the best professors at CF. She truly loves her job and has a passion for teaching and helping others learn. I took her for Music Appreciation which I assumed I would not enjoy, but she was amazing! I learned so much. She offers extra credit, helps you fill out an outline each chapter, and her tests are multiple choice!

The text book is really a note taking guide which is the most helpful thing ever. The tests are easy if you study and the class is actually interesting (I didn't think it would be). She even lets you skip a test or drop the lowest test grade you have. I loved it.

I took Dr. Satterfield for both Hum1020 and Mul1010! She is a phenomenal teacher, she can talk very fast but will slow down and repeat what is needed if you ask. She has 5 tests each course. If you purchase the workbook that goes along with each of her classes and study the bold, you are set for each test! I love her, I wish she taught every course

Gosh she was an amazing professor! Definitely made things clear and easy to remember. Her textbook was basically a note taking book. She tells you beforehand what is going to be on the tests. Her tests in general weren't very hard. I think my lowest grade was an 89%. Really this class is an easy A if you show up to class and aren't lazy.

Awesome professor! She lays out everything that will be on the test. My only word of advice is USE NOTECARDS! My lowest test score was a 92. She is a really good person and seems to care about her students and profession.

Very easy class if you study or grasp the concepts easily. I flubbed and didn't study. Do a presentation, easy 100% on a test and it takes at least 5 minutes to present. Listen and take down the notes she gives you.

She is a very energetic teacher, which is always something I appreciate. She has an outline you can buy ( :( ) for $30 that should make the class a breeze as long as you listen. The class is entirely lectures with a few tests thrown in. No homework. I do wish she posted grades online, but you can just ask her.

Dr. Satterfield loves her job and it shows. The material you need is her book; which is more like a workbook than a textbook. You show up, take notes and test. Shes very easy going and this is the least stressful class Ive ever taken. 10/10 would take again and definitely recommend!!

Sarah is an amazing professor who I am beyond happy to have taken. I took her for music appreciation in he spring of 2016 and it was a great experience that did not require too much; she cares so much and even let my 89 turn to an A. Also this class saved me $4,500 since I now don't ave to take music hum (masters of western music) at my university.

Amazing professor, she only grades tests and drops the lowest test score as long as you didn't miss any. Shes hilarious and makes the class fun. Compared to what my friends have told me about their humanities professors, I would highly recommend this one!

Dr. Satterfield is fair in her grading and does not expect anything from you she is not willing to do herself. She made class interesting and encourages you to be a free thinker and artistic. I hope to have her as a professor in future classes.

Dr. Satterfield is an amazing teacher! She took a subject I do not like, and managed to make it intriguing. Her teaching method is filled with visuals and auditory pieces, which is very helpful. She tells you the first day of class what is expected. She also gives a chance for extra credit, but it is not needed by most.

Literally the best learning experience I have ever had. Absolutely no homework, just study for tests and you WILL pass. No group projects, no in class assignments, just 5 tests, but you are allowed to skip one without any penalty to you grade. There is extra credit on almost all the tests and also an optional project grade booster.

I took Dr. Satterfield's "mini-mester" for HUM1020 and I absolutely loved it! Be warned though, there were only 6 assignments( 5 quizzes and an EC presentation) so try to study and do well on her quizzes because it can be very hard to bounce back from poor grades on those. Otherwise this class is very lecture heavy, so be sure to show up!

My first humanities class (with a different teacher) went terrible, and I failed miserably. I was scared to retake this subject however, Sarah is amazing I was actually interested in what I was learning. Granted the work is a little bit time consuming but if completed its almost literally impossible not to get 100% on tests. LOVE LOVE LOVE her!

Great teacher. She's incredibly easy. Tells you what's on the tests. That being said, even though she's easy, you will still learn a lot. She's very clear on what she wants, and responds and communicates well. There are a lot of papers, but they are easy. As long as you follow directions and don't plagiarize you will get an full points.

The book is written by the professor and has everything you need to know in bold. It is a fill in the blank book. Watch the videos and she will tell you specifically what to write. The exams are open book. You do have to do some papers, but over-all do what she requests and it is an easy A. Finished the class with 100% grade.

Dr. Satterfields class will be the easiest one youll take. We didnt have homeworks and the tests are open book. Cares about her students especially when she sends out motivational messages and gives out snacks for her 8 am class.

SHE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR HERE AT CF! I loved this course. Most importantly, I learned a lot while still enjoying the class. She was an amazing professor! She graded assignments fairly and was very kind. The textbook and lectures had everything thing that you needed to excel in this class. Many essays were due, but it was 100% worth it.

It is really easy to take this class with this professor, you have to put the information that is missing in the book that she has written and just used for the exam

Your required textbook is a workbook she created, and coincides with the PowerPoint lectures. Has such a strong love for music and seeing students succeed. Easiest grade ever, never had anything less than a 100% the entire semester. She gives extra points towards work if you're the first to turn it in. So sweet and an easy Humanities credit!

She wrote motivational speeches and shared her experiences when she traveled to some of the places in the textbook. She played I think the recorder during one of her lectures which was very cool. She made the textbook for the class, so just pay attention and take notes. She was very nice and sweet. I highly recommend taking her class!

Dr. Satterfield is by far one of the most respectable professors I have had and I will be looking forward to taking more of her courses in the future. She gears the class more towards learning and absorbing the material rather than tests and quizzes and it makes the course so much better. Her inclusion of instruments in teaching is also a great!

Professor Satterfield has been the best professor I have had. She goes above and beyond to make sure who students do good. She actually wrote the workbook for the class which I think is awesome and she gives good feedback as well as helpful feedback. She also does inspirational Mondays where she sends weekly messages to inspire the students.

She is a joyful person and kind-spirited. You can use an online textbook, but I strongly recommend the textbook itself because all tests are open-book. She also wrote the textbook which is towards her teachings in Music Appreciation. She keeps a positive attitude and strives for her students to pass.

One of the easiest courses I have ever taken with one of the best professors. The grading criteria were clear on all of the assignments, so there is no reason to make less than an A. The workload was extremely manageable, she offered extra credit opportunities, and all of the tests were open book. Cannot recommend her enough, take her class!

I was weary to take this class as mini semester because due dates are so crunched, but this was by far the easiest class I've ever taken! Prof. Satterfield is so nice. There are guided notes along with a lecture and 4 quizzes that correspond directly with those notes. It's impossible to fail this class if you show up and take the notes.

It doesn't get easier than this class. Everything you did was open note. As well as her dropping your worst score if you choose to take her final( which is optional!) Very clear lectures and you only need to bolder terms which she makes sure to tell you.

Very nice professor. Pretty easy class and 98% of the material was directly from her book (shes the author) but occasionally there would be questions on the test that weren't went over in class i never missed a class and had all the notes word for word from the slides but thats my only main critique. Professor Satterfield's MUL1010 class is a gem - easy, interesting, and super manageable. The textbook she wrote is great, and Unstuck AI was a huge help for test prep. Definitely take this class if you want a stress-free humanities credit!
