Dr. Jones is a good choice if you normally find history boring. She works hard to make the lectures fun. It it always clear what is expected and there are no surprises.

She makes her lectures fun and interesting. This is my second time taking History because it is one of my weaker subjects, but Prof. Jones makes it to where you wanna learn. During her lectures when talking about different nations she uses accents which makes it funny, I would definately recommend taking her. 10/10 wont regret it.

She has honestly been one of the best teachers Ive ever had. She gives exceptional lectures and truly cares about her students. She does her best to ensure that we have a fun and educational time in her class. I would recommend this class for new students and experienced students alike!

Dr. Jones was a well respected professor in my eyes and gave me a good education in us history she gives us a set of grading criteria and sticks with it she makes sure everyone is on the same page and helps her students both in and out of class.

She is the BEST!!! Even though history can be boring she doesn't make it at all. If you don't want to fall asleep during a history lecture then take her! She provides students with a powerpoint for each chapter so you can write down the answers as she lectures. As well as does a review the next day to make sure everyone understands the lecture.

Dr. Jones has a very energetic lecture style, full of detailed information regarding the topic laced w/ jokes. Her personal experience adds to this, She has a passion for history. She takes attendance and participation seriously. Skipping class can hurt your grade as you need to take notes during lectures, which are the key to pass the tests.

Good Prof. Will take again. You'll leave the class feeling as if you learned valuable information that may very well stay with you for the rest of your life. Make sure you take good notes, but she makes the lectures easy to follow and lets you know whats important to take note of.

I took this class Flex II. It consists of 7 modules which have 4 lecture videos, 1 Discussion, 1 quiz use Quizlet, 1 Assignment. I love her personality in the videos. You only have to do 1 essay. She is very helpful. She answers emails in 24 hours or less.

Took her online class- would definetly recommend!! Had zero interest in history, but she makes lectures fun and I learned a lot! Just make sure you stay on top of your work, and you'll be fine! Module consists of lectures, discussion, assignments, and a quiz. Replies fast to emails!

Wow, what an amazing teacher. I took this as a 3 week Wintermester course and she made it fun to learn. Never boring during her lectures and as long as you take good notes and turn work in on time you will get a good grade in her class. I would def reccomend her to anyone taking US History.

I took this class for Flex II and she is so funny on her lecture video she is also really caring and understanding. She will get back to your emails really quickly and help you with any questions you have she also grades really fair with the assignments.

I took Professor Seabrook for 1301 & Im glad I did . I always thought history was boring until I met Professor Seabrook she is awesome and her lectures make you want to learn more . Her grading Is fair & her assignments are very clear and test your knowledge . Also she is very communicative and will always stay in touch when needed . Recommend!!

Lectures were amazing with her, she kept everyone engaged and was fun to listen to. She is clearly passionate about history and her students. In class activities were fun and easy. For each section you go through you do a canvas discussion, an in class activity, and a quiz. Our quizzes were all online and open note. I'll be in her 1302 class too!

Dr. Jones is an amazing, understanding, caring professor. History 1301 and 1302 were both a breeze to take for full 16 week semesters each! Lectures everyday so attendance is important to YOU! Participation in discussion questions on canvas and during review during class is a big chunk of daily grade! 8 assignments, 4 units, 4 exams (including fin)

Doctor Jones is by far the best professor in class. I am very happy I took her class. She organizes the class in an easy way and is an amazing communicator so theres hardly any issues. This class is an easy grade as long as you put in the same effort that she does. Her class is lecture heavy but it goes by so fast with her attention grabbing speaking skills. Would recommend!

Dr. Jones has been my favorite professor at Alamo by far. I took her Flex 2 class online and it was incredibly organized and easy to navigate. She kept the lectures interesting and her assignments were always engaging. Just make sure you keep up with the workload, which isn't that hard to do. If you fall behind, it'll be difficult to catch up.

Dr. Jones is amazing in the way she teaches, though she requires to many assignments if you take her in a summer class. (NOTE: her class work is easy but lengthy so take just one class is you are planning to have her)

Dr. Jones is hands down one of the best professors I've had. She loves what she teaches and her enthusiasm for history is contagious. Very involved in general, but especially for an online teacher. If every class was taught by her college would be a breeze. 4 lectures, 1-3 assignments, a discussion board and a quiz per module.

I took Dr. Jones for 1301&1302. She is truly a great professor. I took her for a 3wk & 5wk course so it was a lot of work, but she provides you with everything you need to succeed & then some. guys when I am telling you she made history fun I mean it!She has everything set up so clearly and gives extra credit every week! I advice to start your work early because there is really a lot to learn. You are allowed to turn things in late which comes in handy but points are taken off. She will always answer your emails which is a huge relief!!

Ive never loved a history course more! Ms. Jones makes history more exciting than ANY history teach Ive had. Instead of textbook readings, she makes videos for each lecture showing her incredible personality and knowledge. Everything you need to know for each assignment is in those videos. Ill be taking another one of her courses in the fall.

The best teacher ever. took her 1301 and 1302 history class, I finished 1301 in just 4 days because its just that easy. It's just lecture videos and then you answer the questions. The quiz answers are the ones you got from the videos, it's just too easy not to pass but also informal. I wish all teachers taught like her.

I took Dr. Jones for History 1302 as an online class during 8 wk summer. She was professional, caring, approachable, and funny! She recorded her lectures that were AMAZING! You follow along and answer questions for each lesson and get a completion grade for it. Quizzes with every module, 3-4 assignments each week, as well as a discussion.

Dr. Jones makes learning history interesting. You can tell she cares about her work. Her assignments are clear and if needed, she's very responsive on email. I took her online for 1302 but I was in contact with her regularly. Her exams are literally things from her video. There's no surprises. She gives enough time to complete assignments as well.

Dr. Jones was amazing. No lie when I found out she taught 1301 I was legit upset that I didn't get a second chance to take her class. The lectures are about an hour each and you get 4 per module. the test was open book and followed the modules perfectly so just pay attention. she hits you with facts, not filler. It's a lot but goes by fast. Enjoy.

Very kind teacher! I took her online class and her lectures are very easy to follow, and she provides notes that follow along pretty much in order. Quizzes are just questions from the lecture notes (and you can use your notes). The online final was just a compilation of past quiz questions, and still open notes. Assignments are straightforward.

I took History 1301 with Dr. Jones and loved her teaching style so much that I took 1302 with her even though I don't need the credit. She makes history interesting and makes you want to learn more. She has an engaging and humorous teaching style. As long as you listen to the lectures and give the assignments some effort, an A is very achievable.

This is honestly the easiest class anyone can take. Its fully online, awesome lectures that are super easy to follow, open note content quizzes, and open note final exam. Dr. Jones was really nice and gave great feedback on all assignments. Will take for HIST 1302 if possible.

I took her may-mester online course of 1301 and it was no problem. Her lectures were amazing! They are thought in a way that you will definitely remember each one. The lectures and notes go hand in hand with the quizzes, so I definitely recommend taking good notes and answer all the questions correctly. She explains everything perfectly!

Dr. Jones desires for her students to do well. She allows late work (with penalty), lates quizzes, and has extra credit. Quizzes come from your graded lecture form. Final Exam comes from quizzes. I took Dr. Jones as a flex class which made me nervous because there is a lot of work, but it is very doable. She even allows for early completion. Her personality is the best. She is so kind and funny. She provides feedback in every assignment. I never really cared for history, but to my surprise I actually enjoyed it.

I love taking this course with this teacher, she makes history enjoyable! This course consist of 4 lecture videos a quiz followed with a discussion and an assignment per week. Throughout my time at SAC and UTSA, I have yet to have a professor as passionate about their subject as she is. Dr. Jones's class is very easy if you are willing to do the work. The assignments are very easy and generally pretty interesting, but it can be quite time consuming compared to some classes. Be prepared to watch lots of video lectures and fill out lots of lecture note assignment. Like I said the class is easy but there will be lots of assignments.

Professor Sarah Seabrook Jones was my favorite professor out of my 5 professor's I had my fall semester. She is overall amazing. If there's an issue with something she is a great problem solver. She also understands that we are all just college kids who have a separate life outside of school. She is AMAZING, I loved her!

I had a blast in Dr. Jones' class this semester. I was in a hybrid class, so I only attended once a week and the rest on the computer. Lectures were a blast with her silly punch lines and theatrical performances. She made class work fun by incorporating a rap battle, poems, and role play. The work load was definetly there but absolutely doable.

She is an amazing professor. She is caring and her lectures are great. It is evident that she loves her job. Although homework is easy, be ready to do a lot of it. Her lectures are very interesting and captivating. She is very understanding, so let her know if you have any problems. In general, her class is very educational, and an easy A.

She is awesome! I loved that I didn't have to read pages of the textbook going over unnecessary info as her course is more video lecture type. it's like listening to a podcast about the crazy/horrific journey of the US. Expect to learn a lot of interesting stuff and a few jokes here and there. My fav was interactive game of being someone from past.

Dr. Jones is an amazing storyteller who makes history very interesting through her video lectures. She also assigns reading from the book as well as cool content assignments. She will work with you to help you complete the class if life situations come up as long as you don't give up or ghost her. Take her class. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Jones is a very amazing professor. She was very understanding with many situations. She always reached out to me when I needed help. Her lectures were very worth focusing she gave a lot of enthusiasm and excitement which was very helpful for me to focus on her lectures. Overall, she is very involved and understanding towards her students.

A great professor who cares about her students succeeding into the full semester, and will be helpful to you earn a good grade, even if it is a missing assignment. I would also note that the assignments do tend to be long, but it is an easy grade to complete.

Dr. Jones was absolutely phenomenal. I took an online course and her lectures were consistently packed with well organized and detailed information. The course work is pretty easy as long as you stay on track and participate thoughtfully. On another note, she is just incredibly funny and caring! Five stars!

Dr. Jones was an amazing professor! She does her lectures by video then has you answer questions throughout the video that you can use on the quiz which makes passing her class very easy as long as you do the work and pay attention and she makes them fun. She cares about her students and always works with you the best she can.

The class is super easy the modules are just watching videos about the topics that we are going thorugh and if you pay attetion to the videos you are pretty much good for the semester and if you have a problem and you can't finish a few assignments just email her and you can work something out with her she cares a lot about her students great class

Dr. Seabrook Jones is an amazing professor. She engages actively with students to ensure they learn from her class, and she is excellent at giving advice for other classes.

Professor Jones was nothing but respectful, caring, and great on feedback. She makes it clear how the semester will work, and all her lectures are in a understandable detail rather then making you read it out of a textbook. Highly recommend.
