This class will be tough. The professor is smart and enjoys Anatomy and Physiology-you can tell. The class is tough, but with a professor that is willing to help you if you need it you cant go wrong. Just study !

Her notes are short and not very helpful, she can be unapproachable if you dont ask the right questions, most people drop her or get C's. I got a B and that is good in her class. She is no good I dont recomend her at all. Her tests are verry hard and lab is pointless. If you take her be prepared to teach yourself.
I found Sarah to be unapproachable. The amount of information that she gives is tremendous & at a very fast pace. I advise you only take her class if you can take it by itself & have plenty of time to study & constantly! Most of the students in my class made failing grades, C's or dropped. I recommed checking out other professors 1st!!
she is a very nasty unhappy person. she should find another line of work
no good
This teacher is CRAZY!! Beware....do not take her class. She is horrible! She is not helpful, very unapproachable, and she teaches as though you should already be an expert in the field. If you take her class you will either fail or get a W.
Labs are about 1-2 weeks ahead of the lecture. You have to spend so much time prepping for lab that you don't have time to study for the current lecture. It's crazy trying to learning all the current material PLUS prepping chapters that are 1-2 weeks ahead for the lab. This really ought to be a 2 semester course.
Has no idea how ppl learn. You think lab is to use models to reinforce lec? NOPE. Labs run 2-3 chapters ahead of lec. On Mon you read chap 10 for lec, AND chap 11 & 12 for lab. Then on Wed, you read chap 11 for lec AND chap 13 for lab. That's 4 chaps over 3 days! Some weeks it's 5 chaps =( You're on your own in lab, she doesn't demo lab models
This woman should not be teaching. I am taking her distance learning class and we are nearing the end of the semester. She still hasn't graded 4 out of 5 of my tests and I have no idea where my grade is standing. She is very disorganized and sounds frustrated when you call her to ask about grades. Do not take her class!!!
SHE SUCKS!!! there is so much information and when you try to ask her for help, she tells you to read the chapters. Her back up is that she's been doing this**** for 30 years but my class of 30 is now a class of 7-8. boo
Sarah Strong is the Professor from hell. She doesn't like to be questioned and can get upset easily. She is not really helpful and deduct points from everything that is not perfect. I hated her class because i studied a lot and was not able to get a good grade. If you have a option don't take her class. It is going to be stressful!!!!
This Prof is very late on getting your grades in and very hard to get a hold of. in fact impossible to get a hold of. I took her distance class and she doesn't provide no extra credit like the other profs. don't take her class you will never know what grade you will get till the very end.
HARD!late on postings & grades.Test-hard-2essays questions,2drawings,about 35 multipule choice.Yes there are many bad things said about her and her classes. Take her course only if you can let her go as a person, study your butt off, and want to be better prepared for your career. If you want it easy, forget!Yeah I made an 'A' but I was one of few.
do NOT take her class unless you have at least 12 hours every weekend to spend in open lab memorizing models and another 20 plus hours to spend during the week studying. her tests are so detailed it is unbelievable. you really have to discipline yourself and study all the time in order to even pass her course.
VERY HARD!!! I do however feel better prepared for up coming classes. I studied my butt off, but just did pass her class.
this class would have been great if i had the necessary time to study. i spent nearly every weekend in open lab and barely made a c because of how difficult her tests are. try to score high on the lab practicals by memorizing like crazy because the tests are impossible
dont take this class ever , get anyone else
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She is a horrible teacher. I studied 20 hrs a week for this class and still wind up with a c. Her tests are confusing, she doesnt give reviews she expects you to know the book from front to back and her notes she uses in lecture are useless. i would rather eat sh*t than take her again! Be warned!
Ok I'm not used to this. this is my first time ever commenting about a prof. Please this lady is a SADDEST! and she is not approachable at all. Dont take her class because she is going to hurt ur feelings...she enjoys student failure...
she's a horrible teacher.
If you are a good student, DO NOT listen to the whiners on here! Sarah is a good teacher who will prepare you well for a career in the medical field. She gives you multiple opportunities to learn the material through online lectures, drawings, quizzes, etc. DON'T expect to be spoonfed in the class; pull on your big-boy pants and prepare to LEARN
WORST PROFESSOR. Don't take her unless you want tons of stress. She assumes all students are experts in this class, and answers questions with a question. She doesn't help students at all. Expects you to memorize soooo much in a short periods of time, and doesn't teach whatsoever. Save yourself..DON'T TAKE HER CLASS.
I am not one to needlessly diss profs. Strong is possibly the WORST teacher I have ever had. She doesn't teach at all! She just expects you to memorize the entire book, which isn't teaching and doesn't prepare you at all for REAL medicine. Don't waste your time or money! Unless you have no life and 30 hours/week to memorize a book....
her teaching style isn't for everybody, but it worked very well for me. you are responsible for learning - she provides you with a pwrpnt lecture you listen to before class, and class time is for diagramming specific structures. if you don't put in the work, you're screwed. she is an EXTREMELY fair grader -not enough space to elaborate here srry
I read the comments on here before I took her class and about died...but came to find out that people overstate how hard she is. she is tough but i'm not a great student and pulled a B cause she grades very faily. She is no the most personable but who cares, she gave a lot of tools to learn the material. 55% of my class dropped...wimps
She's not out to be your friend, but she'll give you tools to learn-suck it up & study. I gave up my 4.0 with a B in this class, and don't approve of the way her tests are set up. As a nurse, this course is WAY deeper than I need, she goes back to the chemical level for EVERYTHING! Functional physiology is NOT what this class is about. No Wimps!
She is HARD and not enjoyable. I found that you tube explained things better. 50% of her lecture is saying "well you should already know that". She does tell you from the begining how to pass her class, but she takes all the enjoyment out of the class and makes it more diff. than it needs to be.
Horrible! Distance Learning is just that. You are on your own, with no interaction with class, or instructor. No homework, but no learning. Watch videos and take tests. I love Biology, but the instructor ruined it for me. Tests are not logical, and essay questions not on the video, self taught and research on your own! Find a different teacher!
A studying routine from day one is necessary. Anatomy is hard no matter who you take. Go to open labs and learn the models. Sara is available for help and answers emails promptly. There is no curve. Bonus questions are available on tests and practicals. Complete lecture outlines before class. Do practice practicals always. Tools are available.
I agree! NOT GOOD! she is late getting work in,dont ask her a question cause she answers with a question, its like she really dont want to help you learn. isnt that what she is there for? i would not recommend her to anyone! you will get lost
Horrible teacher. Hard class, no extra credit. Don't take this class with this instructor. Muzos is a much better instructor.
Do it the way she tells you and you will have a good class. She doesn't care if you like her but her class is very well organized and thought out. She uses the best text of any prof at ACC and she is a fair grader. If you're a wimp going in, you'll either drop or be better coming out.
This was the most difficult class I've ever taken. Sarah requires you to know your stuff, but I was grateful for the high expectations because I really learned the material. You have to study A LOT but she is helpful and wants you to do well in the class. Take this class if you really want to learn Physiology, NOT if you want an easy A.
Sarah is a wonderful professor and really knows her stuff. The amount of time you need outside of class to study....ALOT! It was very overwhelming how much time is spent at home reading. The tests are difficult, but you will leave the class knowing your human anatomy. DO the PRACTICE PRACTICALS!!! Hard class, but I would take her again.
Very helpful and understanding.
Hypocrit to the max. I did a distance learning course and her 15 page syllabus outlines how she will rake you over the coals for almost any mishap. Yet she can't grade tests within even 10 days even though she promises that she will grade within 5. I have a test grade pending that was completed 10 days ago. Unapproachable and intimidating!
Anatomy is difficult without a teacher that makes it more confusing. She doesn't show you the big picture or link anything together, so unless you can teach yourself the material I wouldn't take her. Easily the worst teacher I've ever had, if you can even call her that!
I took her class online. I thought she was very helpful. She gives an opportunity to take a make up test in case you missed one and also gives you a one day extension if you are unable to take the test on time. You also get bonus questions and bonus points.
The course is hard and she offers a lot of different avenues to learn everything you need to learn. This class is on you, if you dont have the time to put in the work, do not take anatomy in general. "No wimps or whiners" describes this class perfectly.
No matter who teaches it, anatomy is hard. Prof. Strong makes it even harder. Everything's graded, everything's counted, everything's timed. There is no extra credit whatsoever. It is not impossible, but it is VERY HARD to get a good grade in this class. Do yourself a favor, look for someone else.
Sarah is a great professor but if you choose to take her get ready to put in the work. Lectures are done at home and in class, lots of drawings (which you also have to be able to duplicate on a test), labs are pretty straight forward and so are practicals but you do get docked for spelling. Do not miss any class or you will fail!!!
Sarah is more of teach your self kind of professor, you will have to listen to her recorded lectures on your own time , she draws in class to simplify difficult concepts. There are lots of prelabs to be done before each class and a few other assignments. It was a very difficult class, in a subject I excel in. I would not recommend this professor.
She knows her stuff, but she expects you to know it as well as she does. Inside out & backwards. Tests are insanely hard & there is no curve. Half my class dropped after the first exam. I had the 3rd highest grade at the end & still got a C. My average was 78. However, even the ones with 40's and 50's ended up with a C. Odd.
Sarah is actually an incredible prof. Her lectures make sense: listen & write in notes at home, come to class & add in pics, then review for exams. Physiology is hard either way bc you have to UNDERSTAND it, but she does a great job of breaking things down. DO the activities, pre-labs, pre-tests. This is her way of padding your grade & you'll pass
Sarah provides all information needed to ace her class but it does require effort, good study habits and time. Same as any anatomy class. She was detailed and clear and your grade is up to your devotion.
I took DL and it is all out of the textbook and off study guides she provides on BlackBoard. You must work for your grade in this class, it's not even an easy B. The tests are all based off the study guides and textbook but you must know it very thoroughly.
She is TOUGH!! She is a good teacher, but I felt she taught in a way that didn't make the material easy to understand. Tests are multiple choice w/ essays. The multiple choice are difficult!
This is a challenging class due to the volume of info, but if you listen and do exactly as she recommends (especially when she gives you advice regarding study habits), you'll get the grade AND learn the material. Honestly, if you're one of those people who want padding and are after the easy A, I don't want you touching me as a nurse, EMT, etc.
Don't take this class if you have any respect for your time. The notes are obtained only through listening to online powerpoints (sometimes hard to understand or hear) and takes about 3 hours on average per packet. The notes are always posted late not leaving much time to work around schedules. I still received an A in but no thanks to the teacher
Doesn't give you much time to prepare for tests. Lectures are all online and you pretty much teach yourself then come to class to draw diagrams. Lab practicals are insane and pretty much self taught as well. Take someone else if you have a job and or other classes, like most college students
This class is very time consuming & she makes the material harder than it needs to be. Class averages on exams were 70%. You will be given the lecture material before class (if she is done with it, so 50% of the time). During class, you will draw everything &must be able to duplicate on an exam. Takes off points for spelling & illegible writing.
You will do fine if you are self-learning. Her powerpoint lectures were very detailed, but class lecture often felt uncomfortable. She always made a point to stop to ask for questions, but they didn't always feel welcomed. Exams are very hard, but did feel written for accountability and to test you on your clear understanding of the subject.
I took Professor Strong's Bio 1309 class. She is LITERALLY THE WORST GRADER! Our tests are split into 2 parts, short answer & computer graded multiple choice. With only having 14 days left in the class, she has failed to grade our tests, vocab, & assignments. She does not respond to emails, & doesn't post assignments until AFTER the due date.
Worst professor I've had! Not great with email and her tests are very confusing. Half the class dropped mid-semester. Her lectures are organized, but everything else is a hot mess. Sucks at grading things on time and her in-class lectures mostly consist of drawings which are useless unless she asks it on an exam. Do not recommend at all.
Today I went in to meet Mrs. Strong during her office hours. I wanted to ask some questions about the on line class. She was very rude and unprofessional I got out of her class right away. I wanted to know what I received on the orientation part of week . I think I know why she has to teach distance classes. I got out of her class right away.
Very rude. If you ask for clarification or an explanation she dismisses you with an, "I don't know, go look in the book" answer. She doesn't curve grades or give extra credit. Tough grader and if things are not exactly how SHE wants it she will count the whole thing wrong. Does not give clear outlines for assignments or test.
She's not the best at teaching, but she provides you with all the resources to learn the material yourself. Basically, if you're self-disciplined and do okay learning by yourself, then you'll be fine. If you're someone who needs a little bit more help and prefers someone to explain things to you, then you may do better with a different professor.
She wants to make sure you really understand the material, although it is mostly self taught. You come to class to ask questions and she explains some concepts. If you are willing to put in the extra time then you can do well in this class. If you're looking for an easy professor then take someone else. She is also a very tough grader!
One of the few classes I have ever dropped. Her lectures were SO hard to follow. I felt like I learned more if I did the work at home by myself. Took again with another professand got a B. I would not recommend.
My experience with this professor was awful. Suggested we get a textbook that was in the ACC version which is expensive! Gives an alternative to buying it but you'll be stuck reading from two different textbooks. Doesn't respond to emails and had to email her several times a week for her to reply to even ONE. Test are very difficult!
Sarah is tough, but gives you all the information you need to pass. Almost all your initial learning is done before of class so when you come to lecture you're ready to get specific with the stuff you have questions about. She also does drawings to help you visualize what you've read. Her class is for people who who aren't afraid to work to learn.
Grade is based on 5 exams and 5 practicals. Fill in the blank notes you must know everything on them. You fill the blanks in by listening to a lecture she posts online. Class is all drawing and clarification. Must dedicate a lot of time to writing and reviewing flashcards. Must know drawings. Tests are 5 essay and 50 multi choice, one bonus
Its mostly learn on your own. If you know everything on the notes like the back of your hand you will get an A and be very prepared for whatever program you are going into. Engl. was a second language to a few of my peers and they found it difficult to understand Sara in the online lecture because she spoke so fast. 5-6 hrs of study time required
Good: She prepares you for your program. You will most likely be the most prepared for your program. She gives bonus on tests 1pt. Good for visual people. Bad: Difficult to get an A so if you need that for your program I wouldn't recommend. Must dedicate a lot of time to study. B in her class A in another professors. For independent learners.
Worst professor Ive ever had. Tests are not specific and she grades excessively hard. If your answer is not exactly the way she wants it, you get the whole question wrong. She gets annoyed if you ask any questions whatsoever. Ive taken A&P before and have gotten an A. Its basically a self-taught course
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY TAKING HER CLASS! WAIT ANOTHER SEMESTER FOR A BETTER PROFESSOR. SHE DOESNT TEACH ANYTHING AT ALL, SHE ONLY DOES DRAWINGS IN CLASS. LECTURES ARE ONLINE & NOTES MUST BE DONE AT HOME BEFORE CLASS. EXAMS ARE HARD, ESPECIALLY THE ESSAYS! SHE TAKES OFF POINTS IF DRAWINGS ARENT EXACTLY HOW SHE WANTS THEM. NO EXTRA CREDIT GIVEN.
I LEARN MORE FROM YOUTUBE AND ITS FREE
AVOID! Zero lecture time and EXTREMELY TOUGH exams. The class average on the final exam was a 59. Sarah projects the attitude that students are lazy and annoying while everyone is actually working VERY VERY hard. Even the tutor in the learning lab warned me that I would easily make 1-2 letter grades higher in a diff prof's class.
I would say that she is very unhelpful to her students. My friends and I took her class two separate semesters and both had the same experience. Her exams are extremely hard & long. They require a lot of preparation for a class for non-biology students. If you end up taking her course, make sure you are on top of her deadlines & study ALL the time.
This professor has been my WORST experience with any teacher I have had in my time in college. She doesn't post announcements ever and in my opinion, she does not care about her students. The exams are always graded harshly and are very difficult. She also never put in my grades for some assignments so I never knew what my grade really was.
Probably the worst professor I have ever had. She doesn't offer feedback, grades harshly, doesn't seem to care at all about students or doing her job. Terrible. I wish I knew how bad she was before taking the course. Really should be in a different profession.
I have NEVER had a worse professor in college or university. She really makes you feel as though you are an inconvenience and lazy. Her grading is harsh and she laughs when she thinks she tricked the class on a quiz or test. Lectures are audio you listen to OUTSIDE of class time. You spend class drawing pictures. She won't explain the material.
Sarah is tough. 1 of the most difficult classes I have taken. The lectures are a video you watch and take notes on outside of class. This process takes A LOT of time. I recommend maybe uploading the video to a private youtube and watch with captions to help you complete the notes faster. It is not an easy A but if you STUDY A LOT, it is possible.
She is the worst, she makes you feel miserable Stay away
Wait for a different professor to open up their slots. She was not only difficult, she always seemed inconvenienced when students had questions over the lecture. Lectures are online and take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours to fill out the 20 plus page notes. She would laugh at questions and make rude comments. Waste of time!
ATTENTION IF YOU ARE GOING TO DH SCHOOL: I took Sarahs class for A&P1 got a B. I am the most prepared student in my entire Dental Hygiene class. Her class is about the level and format of the classes in the Houston Dental Hygiene program I find Embryology & head and neck easy in my program purely because Sarah prepared me well. Take her course!
ITs a though class, specially because you spend so much time taking the lecture notes, that it makes it harder to complete the homework, I wish there wasn' much homework so I could focus on the test, so it really stresses you out to know that you have homework, lots of it, just before the next class, plus writing down all notes from video lecture,.
If you aren't a Math and Science person, don't take this course. Want to get into nursing? You need A's in 2401 & 2402 to get in. Professor Strong will make you feel small for asking questions, but you need to just suck it up and do the extra studying required to pass her class. I'm barely passing and changing me major after this course. GL.
I'm not stressed in Nursing classes b/c I took 2401 & 2402 w/ Strong. 2401 is a weed out course for health science majors. I took 1308 as "a prep", but it was just as hard. The material is supposed to be challenging. Do the work to pass like other students did or don't. Don't blame Professor Strong, your advisor, your dog, or your BF for failing.
Be prepared to put in a lot of work. If you do the work you learn a LOT. Fill out all the notes. Every lecture. It takes anywhere from 45 min-2hours, but if you know the notes you will do just fine. My only complaint is she seems inconvenienced by anything you ask, and takes any opportunity to say she is the only good professor at ACC .
Half of the class dropped the course & I regret not doing so as well. I would spend hours studying however test questions are extremely specific. The test was not like the review. I spent hours studying for this course, however, it never seemed like enough. Do not enroll in this class with this prof, there are far better profs out there.
A&P is already difficult as it is. Sarah prepares students long term. Her class has been the most difficult course ever, but it taught me that I could pass any class I take after hers. 5 exams. 5 lab exams. LOTS of activites and LOTS of quizzes. Labs were easy if you memorize every slide. Notes took up to 2hrs. Dont have to attend Zoom but should!
This professor is EXTREMLY difficult. You spend a ton of your time writing notes and doing assignments rather than actually studying. Her tests are short and nothing like any practice she gives. Review with classmates and create a group me(this helps for assignments). Many grading errors/assignment/test errors. Has the highest drop/withdrawal rate.
Lecture outlines that are extremely time consuming and NOT beneficial to exam material. I dropped this class, and although it was quite the expense I do not regret this. I had to miss 1 class and 1 lab due to a family member having COVID and I was so far behind it was impossible to catch up. She was also very unsympathetic in regard to my situation
AP is hard... but Sarah knows everything about it. I recommend her if you are looking to go to PA or med school. This course will probably make you cry.
There is so much work you have to do before even doing the lecture. The test are tricky and hard. More than half the class dropped. I would not recommend taking this class with other classes.
She takes attendance and you teach yourself everything else. Bring that textbook with you every day, you have no idea when you'll need it. LOTS of drawing on the exams; have colored pencils at least. Didn't put in half of my class's quizzes or exams in the gradebook and never told us why? Resulted in me failing her class. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Very hard, lots of homework. Not an easy grade. I cried Multiple times. Tests very hard. Do the work and you can pass.
WORST TEACHER BY FAR. Her goal is to make you fail and to really confuse you. Insane amount of work. Tests are crazy long and no questions come from the outlines you wast your time doing. Very confused how this teacher is still aloud to teach with her drop out rate.
I took her class as a DIL (online). It was very difficult. Sometimes she would add a whole chapter plus labs 3-4 days before an exam. Myself along with other students feel like we had to teach ourselves. Maybe her "in-class" lectures are better.
Class was very difficult. Exams did not go with lectures. Made several errors on exams. Do not give reviews. Do not post grades for each assignment. Drop rates are unacceptably high. Would not recommend.
This was a very hard class. I struggled with the work as the exam was not related to the assignments. I would not take her class again. She was there for some of the questions but took extremely long to return your email and grade coursework.
Syllabus was very detailed, as was the entire structure of the course. Instructir gives ample time to prepare for exams and proper materials are covered in study guides. She was prompt at answering emails for assistance and very kind.
I want to be fair and honest. But, unfortunately, this professor's teaching methods were not for me. I'm a damn good student, but this teacher takes the cake on ridiculous. Her coursework is unorganized, with little aspect to understanding the subject matter, and archaically focuses on spelling alone to pass. Sadly, her course was a waste of time.
Took this class over the summer, so it was only 5 weeks long. There are 4 units but there are lots of topics within each unit. Lecture heavy so be prepared to spend a couple hours each day just for this class. There are 4 exams and a final. Professor was quick to respond to emails. Grading was clear on the syllabus. Lockdown browser.
Professor Strong's class is HARD, but it will prepare you. She always responded quickly and helped. No SG's. Tests make up a majority of your grade. Lecture outlines provided for you to fill in while listening. PAY ATTENTION AND STUDY AHEAD OF TIME. Flashcards will be your best friend. You get what you put in to this class.
When I first saw Sarah's review I was nervous to take her but she was an excellent professor. She knows what she is talking about but the class is very lecture-heavy. You do the notes at home with online lectures and then she goes over the same material in class. Go to class and study as much as possible. The labs are super interesting though.
Helpful professor & provides what you need, but this class can be a lot. 5 units w/ a vocab word, 1-3 assignments, 1-3 study guides, & 1 proctored exam for each. SG aren't mandatory but EXTREMELY helpful. Exams are avg 38 multiple choice, 2 short answer. Do your work and you'll pass. Exams weigh heavy on overall grade. Content is very interesting.
Her assignments are confusing and they don't lead to better test scores, so they do feel like a waste of time during the accelerated course schedule. I studied so hard for each test and only received a good grade on one of them. I guess I should be grateful that there was so much course work as my grade would have been a full letter down if not.
Unfortunately, Sarah is not in the correct profession. She does not align with ACC values and standards and is more concerned about being right and displaying HER knowledge than teaching her students. She frequently does not post things properly and then adds things for credit at the last minute. Her tests are designed to confuse you. Don't do it.
Couldn't answer basic questions and was rude when asked.
This teacher is very strict on grades. If you're flunking she'll drop you. You have to turn in a filled out study guide. 5 tests, 1 for ea section. Way too much work even for 16 weeks.
Hard class, I took anatomy and phys 1 and there were a lot of tests. I think that's my only real major issue is the sheer amount of them in such a short time frame but otherwise I feel that your given the materials to succeed if you just put the time in and unlike what Ive seen from a lot of the reviews she answered any questions I had well.
Professor Strong is organized and helpful. The detailed syllabus and study guides make the class manageable. Engaging with the materials, like the textbook, and using resources like unstuckstudy can really aid in doing well.
The course is very tough, but she made it more harder by posting grades late & providing unclear feedback. I struggled with the material & sought help, but received none. She shares videos for notes but teaches very little. Tests are confusing & strict on wording. Don't recommend. Despite benefiting from doubt, my experience aligns with ratings.
I really wouldn't recommend this professor. I ended up having to withdrawl because I knew i woudnlt be able to pass. She literally does not teach. She has us watch a youtube video that can be up to an hour long and the next day she says the same thing again that she had said on the video. Save your money and time and choose a better professor pleas
Professor Strong teaches an incredibly hard class and she expects hard work during class. You get out what you put in and expect to spend +8hrs a week just on note taking. Tests are okay, given you watch all the lectures. She's very nice when you are present in class, but don't expect a handout without giving her a good reason to help you.
PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE DONT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, WAY TOO MUCH WORK WITH LITTLE SUPPORT.
Reflecting back, please avoid this professor at all costs. I am begging you. If your wifi goes out and your doing an online exam, you automatically fail the exam. No retests, no way to fix it. She is extremely full of herself, to the point where if you try to correct her she gets snooty. Biology is not a hard subject, but her class will make it so.
After reading the orientation instructions, I knew I had to withdraw this class. Wants you to provide personal number and schedule, and for you to dedicate your whole time into this class. Goes as far to say to cut back on personal responsibilities, such as family, kids, and work. Doesn't seem like she sees students as humans with lives too. Avoid.
I cannot advise against this professor enough. Watching her lectures is like watching paint dry. She seems so disinterested in the content that it is horrible to have to watch. Each chapter has roughly 4 hours of lectures to accompany the reading, labs, and random assignments in between. Also, I never got a grade sooner than 3 weeks after the exam.
Her class is bad. I earned a C, which I'm fine with. It's impossible to be perfect, that's just a fact of life. What irritates me is that her class is inconsistent. She takes an ungodly amount of time (over a month) to grade exams with at most four short-answer questions, which makes it impossible to figure out your true grade. Steer clear.
took class in Summer of 2025. Got an A. Yay. Treats herself as untouchable. Boo. Pretty sure she got tenure, basically had power to warp course away from syllabus whenever she wanted. Not good.
For you own sake please do not take this class it will make your life harder then it needs to be, please I repeat for your own good do not take this class, save your self the trouble your money your grades and the stress, I made the mistake of taking this class with her i wasted my time and i have to take it again. the worst profs for anatmoy ll.
Would not recoment , hard test and strict on many things.
The class is challenging, but the professor provides everything you need to succeed. There is a good amount of memorization, but the study guides clearly prepare you for the exams, and the questions come directly from them. She is available when help is needed, explains material well, and provides plenty of readings and videos to support learning.
