I completely enjoyed her classes. She's incredibly entertaining and goes above and beyond. She's passionate when it comes to writing and it shows in her exuberant "lectures." I say "lectures" because you hardly realize you're learning something becuse it's really tons of fun.

really fun teacher. she likes to joke alot and sing to keep her students awake. there is usually a quiz on the reading material each class. super easy if you read the material. if you have an A average on the quizzes then you are exempt from the A paper. lets her students do the "C" test is class, MUCH EASIER! highly recommended!!

She is a GREAT teacher. So much fun. Sign up for her class. Do the work and you will be fine. I can't see how anybody can fail her class.

Has lots of optional work days, papers are pretty simple, she is very detail oriented. very nice and willing to help whenever need be. She is very entertaining and funny, just don't show up to class late! Very little reading involved, about 7 papers all together, and 1 test. Highly recommend.

She cares so much about each of her students, and wants each person to get an A. She has a pretty easy grading system, and is always there if you need her. Attendance is mandatory, but there are many days she calls "work days," where roll isn't called. I would DEFINITELY recommend her!

Mrs. Wilson is SOO FUNNY. She keeps you entertained the entire way. She will let you out early sometimes, and you have to 7 papers to get an A. If you dont do a paper perfect the first time, she will help you to make it perfect so you can get an A!! She definitely prepares you for the C Test and B and A papers are pretty easy. TAKE HER!!!!! :)

Keeps you awake during class. Bundle of energy and class participation is a MUST. Doesn't like tardiness or excessive absences. If you put forth the effort, passing the class shouldnt be a problem.

Professor Sarah Wilson is THE BEST EVER! If you actually try and turn your papers in on time, you can get an A. She is not super strict, but she does expect you to attend class (and you should). I would take any class she offers. Easy class and wonderful teacher. She makes me love english, and I hated english before this semester!

SHE IS AWESOME! I hated writing papers and english in general, but she totally flipped my opinion. She's goofy and upbeat. Very easy on grading and gives you opportunities to correct your errors. Extremely willing to work with you as long as you show effort, which also helps with your grade. TAKE HER!!! Easy A if you put forth the effort.

She is thee absolute best english teacher! Alot of options to bring up your grade and works with you completely. If you ever feel lost ask for help she'll deff bring you up to date. She's funny as hell pretty loud but she makes the college experience fun!!!

Mrs. Wilson is super energetic, engaging, and witty. Gotta stay alert in her class, because she could be asking you something any second. And don't be late if you don't like being called out. Also, I think she should have 2 chili peppers... it makes going to class easier.

It's like taking a class from a standup comedian. She is so entertaining! Easy class. If you want a blow-off teacher this isn't her. She really expects effort but as long as you care about your grade, you will get the easiest A ever.

Mrs Wilson was an amazingly hilarious teacher. If you are even CONSIDERING her as a teacher, just do it. I guarantee you won't find better. Very communicative with her class & awesome with feedback. She's hilarious. There's a lot of fun discussion in her class, I would honestly take it all over again! Do yourself a favor and register with her.

Mrs. Wilson is outright perfect. I sat front row for her class and thank god I did, it felt like a comedy show every time I went to class. Never a dull moment with her, she is helpful ALWAYS and her class is easy as long as you come to class. Sometimes she gives "pop quizzes" on the readings. Fast at replying to emails. Every day is a "short day."

It was my first semester back in college and she made the transition really easy. She gives out a few more papers than other teachers but they're way shorter and she gives day to come in and work on them where she gives feedback which is really helpful. She really wants everyone to succeed and gives you every opportunity to do so.

Sarah was an awesome teacher. I dreaded going to english through high school and she made me love going to her class. She is so helpful and genuinely cares about her students. She doesn't grade harshly and she jokes a lot during class. I advise all my friends to take her for 1301. She even saves you the money and hassle of getting the book.

she leads a fun class. very engaging and full of life. I looked forward to her class each day. she makes class fun and cracks jokes and will sing you awake if you sleep in her class. attendance is key in her class. extra credit for attendance and reading. show up every day and you will be rewarded. if you cant be on time daily she will drop you.

Wonderful teacher. She made each lecture interesting somehow. The writing assignments weren't nearly as daunting thanks to her "work days" where she goes over your initial drafts. They are basically free 10-20% on each paper if you take her advice.

She says her view points on things so if you disagree just keep quiet it's not worth the time. She is very nice and funny. She has work days that allow her to help you with your paper before its due. I only had to do 4 papers, she lets you skip 5 if you already have an A. Overall the class was pretty easy, but do your homework or she will get mad.

If you are looking for an English class that you will actually enjoy, stop looking and take this class. I absolutely LOVED taking Ms. Wilson's class. She actually cares about you, calls you by name, and wants to see you succeed. I took her as my first class of the day, and it left me in a great mood for my next one. Wilson is an hilarious professor who can make you love English. Her lectures are short and conversational, often straying of topic, but still informative to passing the class. She provides 0 tests and helps in every possible with the 6 papers. Her grading "criteria" is apparent early on and she will tell you what you got wrong (2nd chances given).

Wilson is a very enthusiastic and hilarious teacher. Her class is easy if you pay attention to the lectures & example essay hand outs (they will give you the guidelines you need to get an A on your papers). You are allowed 3 absences. I took ENGL 1301 with her (I got an A) & I would take another class with her in a heart beat.

If you are lucky enough, sign up to be in her class. She keeps things lively, relatable, and she legitimately cares. If being in a class with a passionate and charmingly goofy teacher isn't for you, then you should probably sign up for a different professor. Her quirky energy inspires you to actually care about the subject you're studying.

I can't even express how much I love this professor. Lectures are hilarious and engaging- she really goes the distance to make sure everyone in class is participating and that nobody is left behind. She cares deeply about her students. Can't say enough good things about Mrs. Wilson, and would take another class taught by her in a heartbeat.

I took this professor for the now-mandatory "Effective strategies for College Success". She's a really amazing professor and I really enjoyed her class. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. If you're not into energetic, peppy professors then go ahead and skip her (but really, why would you want to?).

I have never been good at english, nor have I ever liked it, but Mrs. Wilson is a very good teacher and made class so enjoyable. My 8-week course was very packed with content, and we had an essay due every week, but they were simple 1-3 page papers.

Funny. Caring. She has no filter, so if you are uncomfortable or get annoyed easily, well she is probably not your cup of tea. This was my 7am class and I had no problem staying awake. Easy essays. Workdays. It's in the syllabus. Rent book. The type of teacher you want to keep in touch with.

Very heavy grader, never had trouble with English until this class. However workdays do help and she has an amazing personality making her very approachable.

Her grading is lenient as long as your paper is grammatically and punctually correct so take your essays to an English tutor to be revised before turning it in.

I took Mrs. Wilson's 8-week course and I was nervous it'd be too fast a pace. She gave one paper a week, and it was not that bad. I have never been good at English, but she made it very enjoyable. She was relatable and easy to talk. She states exactly what she's looking for and grading is clear. She is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had.

It's an English coarse that focuses on essay writing, you're going to write lots of papers. Prof Wilson is a very fair grader and allows for corrections. She's super funny in her lectures and wants to get you engaged. She cares about you as a person and will try very hard to meet you on your level. Her main goal is to help you succeed.

Took Comp I as a required course, but SO glad I chose Mrs. Wilson. Attendance is mandatory, but she always made the class interesting and exciting with her bubbly personality. Do the short readings to prepare for quizzes in class and put effort into your papers -- your grade will reflect your effort. Very easy to earn an A. She truly is a gem!

Professor Wilson is super nice and funny, but she's a tough grader 100%. She'll pick out the smallest mistakes so you have to be careful. But she does give plenty of EC, just gotta look out for them in her videos and announcements! Her grading rubrics aren't usually crystal clear but she's quite responsive to questions whenever you have any.

I took the five week online course. Four essays, one final, and a bunch of quizzes. Mrs. Wilson is quite good at what she does. Her grading is strict but fair and if you manage your time properly, it's an easy A.

I took asynchronously 1301. Weekly discussion posts and quizzes, and four papers. Amazing personality and gives many extra credit opportunities. She responds to emails very quickly, even on the weekend. Great feedback on essay topics and I always got feedback on discussion board posts. I can't recommend her enough!

I was very skeptical of taking Engl1301 online, but prof. Wilson made it very understandable and enjoyable to take her course! She gives out several opportunities for extra credit (take advantage of those, some are super simple). I could tell she enjoys what she teaches and she cares about your grades. If she taught Engl1302, I would def take her!!

Mrs. Wilson was amazing. I took her during spring asynchronous. Even if you are not good at English, she should be the one. I always got an 85 no matter what, but with the revision chance, I ended up with a pure 94+. The discussion boards are easy and the quizzes are middle school level. TAKE HER, SAVE YOURSELF.

Mrs. Wilson was a great instructor for my intro to engl1301. Because I took this class from home, her lecture videos where short, sweet and to the point. She's humorous and makes an effort to know you personally if you reach out to her. She does want to make sure you're using what she teaches so she's not lenient on small mistakes. Glad I took her

Professor Wilson was FANTASTIC! Her Summer 2024 course was engaging and manageable, with clear assignments. It included four simple yet interesting papers, discussion boards on brief readings, and lecture quizzes. I highly recommend her class; it improved my writing skills and reduced my writing anxiety. Professor Wilson is the sweetest! Her weekly emails are cute and informative about the work layout for the week. This course is pretty easy, and she's not a harsh grader. Professor Wilson was great! When I needed a last minute extension due to travel she understood no sweat. She is very funny, and is a bit intimidating. My one gripe was the fact that she gave conflicting instructions on multiple occasions, so I had to email her asking which one I was supposed to follow. Would definitely recommend.

This professor is hands down the best. She truly loves her students and is willing to help you grow as a English writer. I took her summer course (10 weeks). She made my summer easy with only 3-4 essays and 8 discussion posts, with a few easy quizzes. Her lectures are short and sweet. Great grading feedback! No textbook needed!
