I disagree with the stated rating . Professor Peyour is very helpful , he will call you personally and explain everything in detail. I had him fro cs4000 and Assembly , wonderful lectures and he listens to your questions very carefully . If you do the work expected you will be fine , CS 4000 work all is due at the end of the semester get it done.

I took assembly 2700 with him , he is detailed , expects you to read before the class meeting. He is very knowledgeable with new computer technology and gives you what you need to focus on . Looking forward to take his class again .

Do not wait until the last minute to begin the assignments. You have the whole semester to complete the assignments, but it is best to split it up. If you have any questions (and you will), email him. He gets back to you in 24 hrs.

He realizes that many of his students have never coded before so he takes everything very slow and makes sure that everyone understands. You get 1 EC point every time you attend class and also when you answer questions correctly during lecture. About 2-3 HW problems per week, and he goes over them so there is no reason to not turn them in.

As it was an online class and all of the assignments were due at the end of the semester, it was hard to motivate myself to finish ahead of time. I had him for a 2h40 min lecture once a week and it was a bit tiring. He usually lectured all the time going through the PP that he sends out on Outlook which can be a drag, but he knows his stuff. HW is easy and there are sometimes projects he has us do. The exams are based on PP and study guides he provides so study those well. Would take again.

Professor Sargon is an excellent teacher who uses a step-by-step approach, providing hands-on experience with programming. He emphasizes understanding concepts rather than relying on trial and error. My experience in this class was wonderful! I learned a lot, as he incorporates real-world experiences into the curriculum.

As a non-computer science major student, I really enjoyed his teaching style where you can learn the logic and be successful i the class. His lectures were clear and explanatory detailed. Exam study guides made things a lot clearer. Overall, excellent!

Professor Peyour is a caring person and support atudenst who wants to succeed. He empowers you to learn and move on . He explains the programming concepts understand let him know he will go over it again . I am an English major but he worked with me to understand some of the concepts that I had difficulty in . I wish he is teaching more courses !

Very caring about his students , understanding, works with students to ensure you're doing good. Also, the topic is a bit complicated because it is computer science , but if you do your part , yhe lectures and exams practice review questions are very helpful. Great!

He summarized the topics and exam reviews to the point . is what you will see on the midterms . Even though I was not a computer science major I had fun learning programming and considering minoring in CS.

Though coding can be difficult to understand at times, the professor made it his goal to have us succeed in this class. Course consisted of about 6 chapters. Homework after every chapter, which is coding. Midterms were made easy and straightforward. HIGHLY recommend him, he is very thoughtful and caring for his students !
