I think Dr. Lashgari really tries hard and shows his dedication to the class. He makes lecture fun and I enjoy coming to his class. Anatomy is not fun but he makes it more interesting and easier to think about. I like that he talks about hospital situations and real world things. He is very approachable for questions and thats important to me too.
I have him for anatomy. He's nice. He talks a lot and sometimes too fast, but I guess he repeats himself and reviews things. Its a fun class. He's really passionate you can tell he's super smart and is trying his best. Its pretty cool to have a young professor and he's really funny. I recommend him if you want a professor that cares.
Professor Lashgari is AWESOME. By far, one of the most caring profs I've ever had. He is young and fresh out of school, so he is extremely compassionate to students and remembers how it felt to be in our shoes. He specifically says he strongly believes in Student Success, but his actions speak louder than words. You wont regret it if you take him.
OMG im going to miss this mans lectures. Hes a doctor and sooo smart. Class is important as he makes the concepts easier and often gives tips to remember things. I want to be a nurse and really enjoyed how he related many topics to real world
Anatomy is a challanging class and I think he does his best to make sure we are learning. He always has a smile and shows he is happy to be teaching which is very rare. He is one of my favorite professors so far! Know it takes some work but he is so smart and really tries to make sure we learn a lot!
I took him for lab. He tries his best to make lab fun and interesting and makes jokes sometimes. He is young as well so he can relate and get along with us very well. He also makes the information as simple and straightforward as much as he can. Although A&P is not easy, he teaches it in a way to help us understand better what we are learning.
Amazing science professor at collin
Professor Lashgari is a great professor, he really tries to connect with his students and to make sure they are understanding. He does not require the text book but it would be helpful to have it if you need extra help with the material. This class in general is hard, no one will hand it to you so work hard and hes always available to help!
He is amazing! He is very caring and understanding about how much content A&P is. No one fails his class. If you ever get him as a professor at your college then TAKE HIM!
Prof Lashgari is absolutely amazing!! He tells you exactly what you need to know for the practicals and doesn't drown you in unnecessary details. He knows it's a hard class and jokes all the time to make it fun. He cares more than any other prof I've ever had. He's extremely understanding and I will miss his labs SO VERY MUCH!! 10/10 - take him!!
I took professor Lashgari's lab, and I wish I had taken him for lecture too. He is really good at teaching you tricks to remember everything and he is really passionate about teaching us, we get a lot of one on one time with him. He also loves to sprinkle in some great cheesy jokes into his lecture. You won't be bored.
Doctor Lash is the best professor I've ever had. He genuinely cares for each and every one of his students. Anatomy is a hard course as is, but with his quirky comments and cheesy jokes he makes the class bearable. If you want to pass Anatomy and retain everything youve learned take Dr. Lash. I took him for an 8am lab. yes 8 am but It was worth it.
Great professor, fun but very helpful. I took him for lab and I wish I had him for lecture too. He makes sure that everyone is on top of their game and is available whenever you need extra help or explanation. Anatomy is not an easy course, but he will help you along the way.
Dr. Lashgari is a great professor. Lecture was 4 tests and 2 papers (easy). Lab was 3 practicals and about 8 quizzes (easy). Curved the tests and gave some extra credit. No way you shouldn't pass. He's great at teaching and really cool. He's a real MD and tells us about his time in med school. By far the best A&P professor. Won't regret taking him.
One of the greats! Its nice to have a professor you can trust and has so much knowledge. Class was fun to come to because he makes a point to question our knowledge, give us real world information, review us, and teach us. He's by far the most engaging professor I've ever had. Anatomy is a hard class, but he made it more fun to learn!
Professor Lashgari is by far the best professor I've ever had. Take him if you want to love and learn the material! He works hard to make sure everyone passes. Doesn't have homework and tests off of the slides in lecture. He teaches a lot of test techniques and focuses his class on things that are applicable in the medical field. Highly recommend!!
I took AP2 lecture with him. Anatomy and physiology is not easy and he made us work hard but i really actually remember things its not just memorization. He is constantly asking us questions, making us think and remember. I really enjoyed his class style. Just know there is a lot to learn but he makes it fun to come to class and learn!
Hey yall! If anyone wants to learn and pass A&P. yall need to get in touch with professor Sasha Lashgari! Hes teaching A&P II lab! Hes so patient, encouraging, funny, makes thing easy to learn. I wish he was teaching some other science classes. I will 100% recommended to take him! I wish I could take more classes with professor Lashgari!!!!!!
Best A&P Professor hands down, I took him for both class and lab! Dont sleep on it, his class gets pretty filled up easily, I heard he has few space left for Lab. Will take his classes and over and over again if I need to.
Lashgari is the best professor hands down in the biology department! I have only had him for lab but his grades consist of 8 quizzes, 3 exams (including the final), and 2 papers. He's very easy to follow along with and his PowerPoints are straight to the point. He tells you exactly what you need to know and remember for the quizzes and exams. YES!
No lie this is a hard course but you have to realize it would be horrible without Professor Lashgari, hes always so happy and funny it makes class fun. Im going to miss his Anatomy lab. I actually feel I remember and learned so much now that its over.
Only had him in AP2 lab but wish I knew about him earlier. Its amazing how smart he is but it makes sense because hes a DOCTOR! You will learn a lot and he does a great job keeping us learning and engaged. Spends time making sure we understand and one of the best professors Ive ever had.
Super caring!
Amazing professor!! Dr. Lashagri truly cares about his student's success. Take him he is awesome.
Dr. Lashgari helped me be happy with my decision to be a nurse. I just respect him so much and hes very approachable to ask questions. Which is nice because I get confused easily and shy lol.
Overall great professor. Had him for spring lab and both lab and lecture in fall for 2401 and 2402 respectively. He is patient, always willing to answer questions, and in office hours will take the time to go through tests with you to make sure you understand the concepts you got wrong. Best professor at Collin.
A total cutie! Truly caring and patients. Always happy to help!
Dr. Sasha is so far the best professor i have ever encountered and the last by the way because that's my last class. And am glad it was a great experience. The way the class was organized it gives me every reason to get up to go to lectures or lab despite my pregnancy .. Always have Vital information so i didn't want to miss it. Will recommend him!
This man is the best professor you will ever have! Seriously, if you are deciding between him and another professor, do not hesitate to pick Sasha. His lectures are easy to follow and he cracks jokes to make them interesting! His tests are easy as long as you show up for review days. Without a doubt best professor I have ever had, take him!!!
We all had online classes that we didn't sign up for but I am so happy I had Professor Lashgari. Out of all my professors he made the transition the best he could and constantly supporting us. I wish we could have finished the semester on campus but for what it was I'm glad I had him. One of the best professors I've had.
I had Dr. Lashgari for 2401 lecture and am currently taking him for 2402 lab and he is hands down the best professor Ive had. He made the transition to online so smooth and handles my hybrid class very well. He doesnt care about attendance and is super understanding of everyones specific situations. Course material isnt overbearing either.
excellent prof. took for a&p lab. cares about students and is good at communicating. def take him if you can!!!!!
Dr. Lashgari is a kind of professors that any university in this day and age should have. A&P is very hard and lots to take in, but I never faced the pressure of coming to his class. He's very smart, approachable, patient, and generous on bonus points which are easy to get and influential to boosting your Lab practical grades. He's simply THE BEST!
Dr. Lashgari is a very intelligent and nerdy(in a good way) instructor. I took an express class and felt like I was on a timer the whole semester. So, I wish I had more time to get to know him. He would take time and explain to me anything I emailed him about.
Dr. Lashgari is the best professor that I have ever had, and since I already have a prior degree I can attest that he is a diamond in the field of science. He is very knowledgeable, quick to answer questions, and wants you to succeed. I strongly suggest you take him.
Great A&P professor. I took his A&P 1+A&P2 lab and they were great. He was very knowledgeable and very passionate about teaching . He will explain everything until you understand. I really like him.
I already have a bachelors degree so I can say Dr. Lashgari is a great professor. I can't imagine getting through the pandemic without him. The class is hard, but made better because of him. I like his lecturing, and lab is fun. SUPER approachable for questions. I study a lot, but I feel rewarded and I'm learning which is a great feeling.
Dr. Lashgari is why in person classes are needed. He has so much passion and knowledge that makes class very enjoyable. Like others said, I had to study very hard and its difficult with the amount of content, but he is my favorite professor. I wish he taught all the classes.
Dr. Lashgari went above a beyond and exceeded my expectations in all ways. I took his class for the short summer term. Dr. Lashgari was always very approachable with any questions even if it were about our personal career goals. He answers emails promptly and is happy to reexplain any topics if needed. A true gem in this field and very funny too!
Professor Lashgari will prepare you so much for your Nursing or health care career his tests are very straightforward because when you show up to class he helps when it comes to remembering certain things, my lab professor was so terrible, yet Lashgari still gave me hope to learn in Anatomy and not drop the course. All his lectures are engaging!
By far the best professor I've taken at Collin. If you're debating on taking him, just take him! He provides clinical portion which if you're doing something pre-med or pre-nursing, he is the one for you! He gives opportunities with quizzes and group activities to help boost your grade. I wish he would have had lab though :(
A&P courses are hard no matter who your professor is, and this class was hard but only because of the curriculum. Dr. Lashgari is super caring and understanding if you let him know you try. He's so nice. I took both lecture and lab from him and I'm so glad I did. study the review slides for exams in lecture and for lab practical, study graphics.
I had Dr. Lashgari for both lecture & lab. He is a great lecturer & shares real-world clinical examples of the concepts discussed in class. He genuinely cares about his students' success and is responsive and approachable. Though he provides a lot of extra credit opportunities, you still have to do the work to excel in his class.
I took Dr. Lashgari for Biology 2401 Lecture. He is very knowledgable and encourages the class to be active and participate. It is such a hard class though. This is my second time retaking the course, I still had to study hard but i'm glad I took him as he knows how to explain. He does a lot of health related concepts which is difficult but fun.
For Lab+Lecture Prof. Lashgari is exceptionally caring, & he wants to see you succeed in his class. I took his A&P class in the spring of 2022. He's available outside of class, responds to emails quickly, and he dropped one of my major lecture test grades & some lab quizzes to help the grade. He uploaded review before practicals & tests if asked.
I took him for A&P 1 (both his lecture and lab). He makes this class as easy as possible. Attendance is pretty important for doing well on exams. He's kind & hilarious and makes jokes during class to lighten tense moods. He wants to help his students however he can, and since he is pretty young, he remembers being a student. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN.
He truly is an amazing professor and WANTS you to succeed. There aren't a lot of professors that actually cares, and he's one of them. 4 exams, 10 lab quizzes (lowest 2 were dropped), and two lab reports. He reviews the models to the class and answers any questions you may have. TAKE HIM!!!!
Hands down one of my favorite professors. It's honestly amazing how good he is at making the material interesting and he always is nice for answering questions. As a doctor he has so much real world knowledge, but it's a hard class. I feel like I'm always studying. We have graded work only in class. No online homework.
I loved Lashgari! He was very funny and super respectful to his students. His tests were almost exactly how his power-points are explained and he gives extra credit. If I could, I would most definitely take his class again!
Another semester finished with college but now I have a professor I'll always remember. He's kind, funny, extremely intelligent. Everyone in the class likes him but its not an easy class. He expects a lot of us but still cares. You'll be pushed and learn a lot about health related topics because he's a medical doctor. Just read and study!
I've been lucky to have Dr Lashgari for both AP I & II lectures. He focuses on studying tips and content that matters. A lenient grader and his exams are of moderate difficulty. His patience, ability to simplify a tough subject in a humorous way and genuine concern for his student's success makes him memorable! He has a gift of teaching. Take him!
Dr. Lashgari is awesome! He is very engaging and approachable. Be sure to do the practice tests in my lab! He will often pull questions from there.
As long as you study the powerpoint and take note of what he emphasizes in class, you're good! He's very understanding about making up work if you honestly can't make it to class. He gives great real world context to the content. The exams aren't too difficult given the nature of the subject. Super chill Prof and gives bonus points.
i love his class, I had to miss a few and was sad because of it, Not easy it requires a lot of studying. Hes passionate about the content and gives great lectures. There are team based work, online homework, quizzes, and tests. Its a fun class that I learned a lot. I wish he taught more classes!
Dr. Lashgari is a phenomenal professor. His style of lecturing is clear, and easy to understand, which is important when it comes to learning anatomy. He cares a lot for his students and was very accommodating to help out in anyway he could. You will not regret taking him for Anatomy!
I took professor Lashgari for BIOL 2401 in the spring. By far one of my favorite professors. A&P is a lot of material regardless of who you take as a professor however, he makes it manageable. He has a good sense of humor and you can see that he really cares about his students. Take him and you won't regret it.
LOVE HIM, BEST PROFESSOR/ DOCTOR EVER
The class is hard full stop, no lie. But he's a great professor and tries hard to give us the material in digestible ways. There are quizzes almost each class, but they help. I've registered to take him again and I'm excited. As someone that wants to join the sonography program I'm grateful to have a teacher that pushes us and is fair and nice.
Lab: Quizzes every week, but doable. Will lyk what's on the quiz. Practicals are heavy, but will lyk what to study. Lab "papers" easy 100. Lots of partial credit. Lecture: 6 test. "Pop quizzes" every week. Heavy material, study ahead not day before test. Be responsible and hold yourself accountable to study and you'll be fine. office hrs rec!
Amazing professor, cares about students and this is my second time taking it I think he's fantastic. Challenging but doable, expectations are clear. We have graded assignments at least once a week in lecture and lab. Team based is new for me but I feel its helped me make new friends. I normally don't talk in class and now I have a study group!.
Chill dude tries to be funny so everyone can get thru class. His class is hard but i think that's just the class and not his fault.
Its a team based class, graded work each week, gotta prepare before class too but its manageable. I always knew what was expected and I came to class prepared. I did well but I studied hard. It's definitely made more fun with him as the professor and I enjoyed coming. Attendance is not a grade but kind of have to go because of the graded assignment
Loved his class, I'm one of the many also retaking A&P 1 and it goes to show sometimes the professor is the biggest difference. yes I still remembered things from my first time but his organization and delivery was perfect. I enjoyed taking it the second time way more and am excited to move on to AP2.
Lashgari is great definitely worth it especially for nursing students. He went to medical school at Saint George's and knows a lot about health field. My review got taken down for some reason but I like him. Recommend!
Hard class
His lectures are well organized, and he tells you what he expects you to know for the quizzes/ practicals. He genuinely wants his students to do well and will explain multiple times until you get it, he's also pretty funny and tries to make his class as straightforward as possible. Take him!!
Professor is funny, gets right to the point, & makes class engaging. Also he could get it.
the BEST professor i've ever had !!!! he's nice, funny, always willing to help, and genuinely wants you to succeed. he has a gift for teaching and cares for each of his students. anatomy is a tough class but he makes it manageable and even fun. i loved his class and was almost sad when it was over. i learned so much DEFINITELY take him he's amazing
TAKE HIM FOR ANATOMY
Professor Lashgari makes the content more interesting. It's no doubt hard and requires a lot of studying but coming to class helps and he makes it enjoyable experience. He does team based assignments which make coming to class more fun. He answers questions and is a nice guy. Would recommend!
professor Lashgari makes sure to go in details in his course to make sure each student get the idea of the content he is trying to explain. He tries to make it as simple as possible which help us as anatomy students learn faster and stick the information in our mind.I am planning as well to take him for my anatomy 2 class.
Professor Lashgari is an amazing professor. I had him for lab and he spends time really trying to drill the info for us. It's still not easy but I don't see how he could have done anything better. He's extremely smart and one of a kind. Top professor I've ever had and made a hard class easy to swallow. God bless this man.
Dr. Lashgari is one of my best teachers in Anatomy; he ensured everybody passed his class successfully. He does give extra credit opportunities for exams as well as quizzes. He is a fun teacher, and he makes each class very enjoyable. I do recommend taking him to both lecture and lab.
truly one of the best professors I have ever had. don't mistake A&P for an easy course, but he makes it fun & understandable. If you do your part (study, participate, and use all the opportunities given out), you sure are going to make an A. he gives lots of different extra credit opportunities on both lecture and lab, you just gotta do your part.
W/out a doubt he is one of the best A&P professors in the entire earth. Expect that A&P classes are very taught but if you take him surely he will help you through. Be willing to learn and make sure to dedicate yourself to study and if you have question don't hesitate to ask him for a help. he cares about his student and gives a lot of extra credit
He knows his onions
One of my favorite professors. He has a dry sense of humor, but is hilarious. I only had him for lab but he taught so well that it helped me for my lecture class. 10/10. I would take his class for everything he teaches. It is hard, had to read, and he expects the best out of you but he makes the class fun and possible. Couldn't do it without him.
Dr Lashgari is fantastic. He makes this difficult class fun and enjoyable. Lots of extra credit possibilities
Honestly one of the best professors I've ever had. Dr. Lashgari is hilarious and so clearly knowledgeable, he'll answer all of your stupid questions. The class itself is hard, but he makes it much easier and fun!!
This guy showed up to substitute for our professor that was away. And I was blown away at how good he is. He knows his material like the back of his hand, explains very well and concisely, and overall just was wow. I really wish I was able to take his actual classes. I can't explain how much envy I have for those that get to take his class.
TAKE HIM!! Dr. Lashgari is all round a fantastic professor. He is so intelligent, it shows in his ability to teach. Review the PowerPoints&everything in the modules, you'll get what you need from them. LAB 3 practicals, quizzes usually weekly-drops the 2 lowest. LECTURE 4-5 exams, weekly quizzes. Handful of Xtra credit opportunities in both.
It's a hard class in general, but he makes it easy and he's very generous when giving points.
Professor Lashgari was very accessible outside of class and very accommodating. The class was extremely hard but manageable if you did the work and studied.
Great Lab professor!!
HE IS AMAZING MY GOODNESS HE IS AWESOME!
Would most definitely take him again!! I really enjoyed his lectures. This is my 2nd time taking Anatomy and compared to the first time around with a different prof, he explains things clearly and really knows his stuff! He also tells us what to focus on for exams and drops the lowest grade. My only complaint was grading can take a while sometimes.
Professor Lashgari is the best professor I have ever met. He genuinely wants all students to do well. He tells you exactly what to study for exams and even what is on the practicals in the lab. This is an extremely difficult course, and you will need to put a lot of time into it if you want an A, but he tries to make it as easy as possible for you.
One of the best A&P professors, took him for both A&P 1 and 2, definitely recommend. Great at explaining things and he gives many different opportunities for grades.
I adore this professor if I could take him for every class I would. He's so helpful and funny and doesn't make you feel less than for asking questions. Dr Lashgari youre a real one and I love you I wish I took you for lab. The lab I took made me consider picking up smoking
Dr. Lashgari is great, hes clear, he teaches well, and is very knowledgeable. I was surprised at how much I laughed in his class, he is fun but there is A LOT of content and it's HARD. I study all the time it feels, but thats the nature of A&P and I wouldn't want it without him! We do have group work and individual work in the class. Thank you Dr.
Great prof. No attendance taken but all grades in class. But missing lecture isn't recommended either. He's good. Hard course and not always exciting but it's science so it be that way. He's a doctor, knows how to explain and make it interesting. There are professors that are easier but I felt challenged in a good way and wanted to learn with him.
Dr.Lashgari is so nice and kind. He clearly explains stuff and helps you when you need it. I really wouldn't have passed lab if i took someone else over summer. He broke stuff down and wanted us to do well. Great professor and he doesn't grade very harsh!
be careful taking this professor because after you take him you will have such high standards and expectations from your other professors and they will disappoint you. I have been waiting for someone to drop his A&P II class so I can move to it before the census date. He is so soft and well spokes, makes learning so easy. MISS HIM :(
If you want to succeed in Anatomy and Physiology I and II, TAKE PROFESSOR LASHGARI! He is truly an amazing professor, he genuinely wants his students to succeed. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you want to pass, it's recommended that you do show up. He goes over the PowerPoints and points out and explains what he would test you over. TAKE HIM!!!
this professor is AMAZING. he cares about his students so much and he knows that we get anxious. he gives a lot extra credit and bonus points. very fair professor. explains everything clearly. this is still a difficult course but he makes it so much easier!
