Despite this being a new course at BSU, Prof. Link was able to obtain a course embedded grant to allow us to present our findings and our writing we accumulated through the semester at a Mid Year Symposium. She is very easy to talk to and is always willing to help her students outside of class. I recommend taking her course if you enjoy writing.
Professor Link is very sweet and wants her students to succeed! This was the first time the course was running so there was a lot of trial and error. Hopefully improvements will be made where necessary. At the end of the course there is a 15 pg paper due but it's a compilation of work done throughout the semester so do the work! Take her class!
Professor Links generally cares for every student and works with you. I'm so happy I chose this second year seminar it was worth it and I got the chance to uncover my hidden truths. This course consist of no test just papers that will later on be added to your final 15 page paper.
Professor Link taught a second year seminar about tracing lineage and I honestly was not happy I got stuck with this course until I met professor link. She is literally the sweetest person and you can tell she really cares about you and all she really asks is that you put in a good effort to your work. 10/10 would recommend
She is a laidback professor. she doesn't put a lot of pressure on the students. she gradually gives work so that no one can fall behind.
Professor Link is a very nice teacher who always brings a great mood to class. The work she gives you is not hard just show up to class and do the work and you will be fine. She is very responsive to emails and is helpful to her students. You get out of class early sometimes. The class is overall interesting and enjoyable.
Professor Link was an absolute sweetheart. She genuinely cares about her students and will take the time to listen to you if you need any help. The papers she gives you arent hard, but theyre personal and eventually all of the papers you wrote will accumulate into a 15 page paper. She tries to help your research. Love love her, take her.
I was weary about the course, titled "Writing My Self", due to the vague course description and my blatant fear of the unknown. My concerns were put to ease throughout the course through the professor's clear enthusiasm and friendly attitude. The course was fun and very well-planned by the professor, who makes a conscious effort to ensure success.
Professor Link is hands down one of the best professors at BSU. She gives great feedback and her classes are fun & interesting. She genuinely cares about each and every one of her students. Take her class!!
Easily the best professor I have ever had at BSU. Extremely personable and has a genuine care for her students in and out of class. Responds quickly to emails and gives ample amount of time to finish assignments, and is very understanding of the fact that we have lives outside of being a student. I would take her class again and again if I could!
Taking the Writing Myself seminar with Professor Link was awesome! She is a really great professor and is super knowledgeable about the subject. I would recommend this class and Professor Link to anyone!!
One of the best professors Ive ever had. I would definitely take her again if I had the chance to.
Professor Link is extremely caring, personable, and fun. Her class was easy and very comfortable. However, I felt that she was a bit disorganized and offered little constructive criticism on essays, which made it difficult to get anything out of the class.
Professor Link is a wonderful professor who cares a lot about her students and has lots of energy and passion. She creates interesting writing prompts that make writing fun and enjoyable. One of our prompts this semester was a letter addressed to our state legislature which she then took us to the state house in Boston to deliver. Take her class!
Awesome professor ! Very caring and inspirational
Great Teacher. So nice and caring about students.
Really inspiring class you are able to be creative with your wriring since it is about you and your life. Understanding usually with personal things that may come up. But is pretty strict with attendance wants you to succeed
Professor Link does does a fantastic job of creating an environment cohesive to growing as a writer and getting in touch with yourself. Professor Link genuinely cares about the progress of her students, and tries her absolute BEST to give all the revisions she thinks would make your papers great; DEFINITELY take!
*Writing Myself* Honestly a really great teacher. She is beyond passionate about what she teaches and genuinely cares about your writing. She WANTS to see you do good, she WANTS to help you. This class puts you in a community setting. My writing has improved from drastically because of this class.
Took a Writing Myself seminar this semester. Really nice professor, but your grade will drop every time you skip. Rarely cancels. Writing assignments are very easy. Makes the class very personal.
Such an amazing professor. Very understanding and helpful.
Professor Link's Writing Myself was an amazing course that I took as a seminar. i liked how we bounced ideas off of each other in class. I think she's one of the best professors BSU has to offer. Every morning she would walk in with a bright smile on her face.
For the class writing myself, I had a great time and it was a really good learning experience.
I like this class because unlike most of my others its easy to communicate with the professor and come to an understanding when your having any issue wether its in school or outside of school. And she also makes it easy to understand to assignment and whats due when.
If you like writing freely Writing Myself is the perfect course for you, Professor Link is such a nice person and is great at what she does. No tests and not a lot of essays but they are worth a lot of points. Be prepared to participate for points as well.
Professor Link is amazing. She cares about your progress in the course and gives a reasonable amount of assignments. You also have ample time to get them done. If you ever have a misunderstanding of any assignments, she'll definitely answer any questions you have. She gives good feedback and is very helpful.
Writing myself is an extremely easy class to pass. As long as you try and do the assignments then you'll do fine in the course. Professor Link is willing to work with any student who has a different vision for an essay. This class is laid back and you can tell how passionate Professor Link is about writing and the course.
Professor Link is so open and supportive. She gives you plenty of clear examples of what you she wants you to write and give a good constructive feedback. She will put material on blackboard for you to reference, but go to class, it will help immensely, because she goes over examples that will help you to write A great teacher and good class. :)
I loved this class, it was nice to feel like you were in a judgement free zone regardless of how good or bad or a writer you are. This class teaches you to not be afraid to share what youve written. Professor Link is a very genuine person and her presence makes you want to show up to class. She wants everyone to succeed. Loved having her.
This professor is very good with communication. The work load is very clear as to what your expected to do. The assignments are clear .
Professor Link was very helpful and is one of the nicest teachers I've ever had. She is very supportive and is always willing to help. This year she had us write letters to state representatives and took us on a field trip to Boston to deliver them. I highly recommend you take her class because if you don't you're going to regret it.
This course showed me what being in a writing community was like. Instead of by ourselves, as a class we would brainstorm topics together and help each other grow rather than struggle independently. I have gained not only knowledge, but more confidence in myself as a writer. In this course you write about topics you care about which is a huge plus.
Professor Sasha Link is without a doubt the most amazing professor ive ever had shes so nice and patient with all her students. shes puts her heart into her profession and shes very kind hearted. if your lucky enough to have her youll see what i mean
Professor Link was an amazing professor. She is very compassionate about her class and really does care about her students. The work load was not heavy at all. We had about three papers all semester along with a few other small assassignments. Bottom line I recommend this professor very much. Such a sweet lady.
Overall a really good experience. We go on a field study in the middle of the year, which was good hands on experience and a chance to not sit in a classroom. She is very caring and understanding as well.
I LOVE HER!!! She is the best professor I had this semester I wish she was teacher Writing Rhetorically 102 because I would definitely take her again. Her class is a no judgement zone. She cares about all of her students. TAKE HER!!!!
Professor Link really cares about her students always reaching out if she is concerned for your grade and making sure everyone has the opportunity to succeed. This course is very easy if you get the essays and assignments in on time it you should be able to get an easy A
As a student in general, I usually struggle in writing, but this professor really did help a lot. In this class being able to go on a field study really made the class enjoyable and pretty fun. She took us on a trip to the Boston State House and it was a great experience building a whole writing community outside of the class.
Professor Link likes to take the Writing Rhetorically students into the community; my class went to the state house. The class is focused on writing assignments individually and then critiquing them as a group. We did a lot of different assignments like speeches, letters, and narratives. We had textbooks but didn't use them at all.
If your into writing this class is for you. You get really good feed back, and its really easy to pass. Assignments are nevertheless hard to complete. Ive learned a lot about writing after taking this class.
This course was very interesting and helped me become a better writer. She gave us three essays to write about in order to create a final portfolio at the end of the semester. At first the process was difficult but in the end it all came together. It was a great learning experience and I became a much better writer.
Let me begin by saying the professor Link in one of my favorite professors!!! She is an honest, caring person who is willing to provide feedback at any moment. I really enjoyed her class, I especially enjoyed presenting to HarborOne, it was a great experience.
Professor Link is one of my favorite instructors. She is a very caring professor who puts her students first. She is always available to discuss the assignment in greater details if it is needed. She really knows how to engage the class and get everyone excited to participate in class participation. I really enjoyed presenting to HarborOne.
1. It was a pleasure to be apart of the business writing cohort but I wished that we met a couple more days a week to help build that professional relationship 2. I learned much about the ways in which to promote oneself while staying true to the character and professionalism that is excepted in a business setting 3. I had a great semester! Thanks
One of the best professors I've had at Bridgewater. She really cares about you doing well in the class, and also bolstering your academic and professional careers. Always open to questions. The class setting is very laid back and she will cater to how you want to market yourself as a professional through class projects. Highly recommend her!
BusComm with Prof. Link was arguably the most practical and useful class I've ever taken, not just in university either. Everything learned here will be applicable elsewhere, and you'll learn alot - Prof. Link is exceptionally caring, knowledgeable, and available. Projects done for the class will become useful resources. Recommend to all majors.
Taking this class not only made me have a new love for writing but it also helped me make new friends . In my class the environment was so good that we all got along and to be honest I think everyone made a new friend in this class. The work isnt boring and you get to write about you ! I would definitely love to relive this class.
If you need to take a First Year Seminar still and don't want to waste a whole semester on it, this is the summer class for you! Prof. Link was super nice and accommodating (even giving out her personal phone number)! We had to write a total of 15 pages and make a website to showcase everything. As long as you show up/do the work it's an easy A!
I had Professor Link for a freshman seminar class. She cancelled class 9 times throughout the semester so every assignment got pushed back; we ended up having like 4 projects due on the last week of the semester. The days she did come to class, she was usually about 10 minutes late (the class was only 50 minutes long). Shes so disorganized too.
I had to sadly drop this class because of my schedule.. Prof. Link is the kindness and most compassionate human Ive ever met. I always appreciate her work ethic and her commitment to always being there for her students. She is and has been a spirited voice in the classroom! She always has great questions and getting students to really think!
LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! Kind, compassionate, and enthusiastic. Her low-stakes journals have helped me produce some really great pieces. She gives great feedback and cares about the success of her students. If you have the chance, take one of her classes. Low pressure, open minded, and collaborative classroom style. Easily one of the best at BSU.
Prof. Link is extremely passionate about the class and is even more passionate about her students succeeding. She gives great feedback and actually wants you to improve rather than just hand you a rubric to follow. She sets you up for every essay you write and will help you along the way if need be. Class is not hard at all as long as you listen.
Decided to take a class with Link because of her reviews. The assignments are very easy in theory but shes so UNORGANIZED. This makes everything impossible. Shes very unclear about assignments/expectations and there is no syllabus to fall back on! Also we've been in class since January and havent received one grade yet!! Would not take her again.
Nothing but positive reviews for Prof. Link. Took her 8am for my 1st year seminar, and taking her again next semester for one of my 200 English electives. She is not only a great professor who will always keep class engaging and interesting, but she is so understanding and brings great energy to an early morning class. Highly recommend to anyone :)
I learned so much more about writing. This class taught me how to write from my heart instead of simply writing down ideas. Dr. Link is very helpful and nice. She is very passion about writing, and encouraged student to write low-stakes paragraphs that are very helpful when it comes to better understanding and connecting with articles.
This class was strange. Professor Link was filling in for the real professor who teaches this course. In the first month, we had one HW assignment. Then in October we actually started reading the assigned book. But she understood that Covid was affecting different students so she really did what she could to help everyone. She is a great teacher.
Professor Link is one of the most caring teacher I ever have! She knows what she is doing! Smart, humble, and great as a teacher!
Professor Sasha Link was phenomenal. There were times I would walk away from her class changed. I loved taking ENGL 200 with her. She and I have become very close friends. Her writing prompts brought me much healing in my life as a whole.
I took her Poli Sci class Debates in Am. Politics (N/A). Sasha Link cares so much about her students beyond the classroom and understands life can make school difficult. Communication with her will be your biggest ally. She's engaging but expects you to do your work. The students that rate her poorly probably put no effort into their schoolwork.
One takeaway from this course was the use of library and library databases. My knowledge and skills of the library and the department in general expanded when taking Professor Link.
Professor Sasha Link was more than faire. At times I would spend my weekend study for class. I loved taking ENGL 200 with her she can by a good mentor.
Professor Link is extremely caring. I would take a class of hers again I just sometimes feel like the set up of the class was confusing and scattered. There was disorganization throughout the semester. Overall a good class and a wonderful professor especially if you want to create a business plan or start a business, this is a good class to take.
Professor Link is someone who cares about her students, she wants to see the succeed; and does every turn in her power to see you succeed. Her class has made me consider and gain an understanding on entrepreneurship. I now find myself really contemplating the idea of stepping into that world.
Professor Link is a professor you won't forget. She has a heart of gold and a passion for people. I took her for Debates in American Politics, and she made something so boring at 8 AM (never take an 8 AM) somewhat lively and refreshing. Homework, barely. Just skim the readings, be nice & participate when you can. If you need a seminar, pick her!
Good person, but class was very disorganized. A little all over the place and unclear, but she means well. Liked her as a person but didn't like how her class was organized. Maybe it'll be better next semester since this was the first time the class was thought, but the work was easy, and it was a great 2YS for anyone interested in digital media!
This professor didn't portray any sort of proficiency or much interest in digital media storytelling except for Ted Talks. She assigned us two textbooks: the first of which was found to be insanely outdated and essentially advertised the author's own course and the second of which wasn't used until the last day of classes.
Professor Link is very nice and super understanding. She grades you by attendance and a few essays and readings but that is it. The work she does with us in class is helpful and it is easy. Would totally take her again.
Always canceling class and late for the classes she does not cancel. Does not know what is assigned and what is not assigned and says she will do something then does not do it. The text book is Digital Storytelling and is about social media but written 15 years ago so it is all out dated.
Prof. Link is a very intelligent woman and is super invested in her students' success. She was a little all over the place but ends up grading kindly.
Our professor doesn't know when things are due and will post the wrong dates. Also has been late with posting assignments. There are also very vague instructions for the assignments. I should be able to go onto the Blackboard website and find out what I need to finish by whatever date in less than a minute in my opinion.
This is one of the most unorganized classes I have ever taken in my history of schooling. It doesn't help that I have no interest in the course I'm taking, but I am a pretty open book and don't feel like I am learning much of value.
Professor Link is a very nice, caring, respectful person. Her class taught me useful writing techniques as well as many different ways to tell a story. I liked Professor Link's way of teaching, she did not just lecture off a slideshow she had students actively involved in small group discussions, group projects, and other useful techniques.
Professor Link provided very interesting lectures for us that allowed us to make connections to the real world. This was also a very fun and interesting class to take where we did group projects, watched video and had very beneficial class discussions. The work load was very comfortable with a few papers, group projects and homework occasionally.
Prof. Link was a joy to work with! She's very heavy on participation, she reads the notes that you take for the textbook and requires you to be to class before or exactly at the time it starts. She's a little disorganized, but is caring and respectful. Would absolutely recommend taking a class with her!
Professor Link is so sweet. She is very very understanding. She will waive deadlines if the whole class needs more time. Makes every lecture fun. I took her for COMM 102-Intro to Public Speaking. This was her first semester so she might do things differently next semester, but she is so sweet and I definitely recommend her.
Amazing human being. Shes a kind person and her teaching methods are phenomenal. There is a mandatory textbook and we need to take notes, but she gives us plenty of time to read it. Her class activities are very helpful with what we are learning and gets the class engaged. She truly does care about your wellbeing, both in and our of the classroom.
Took COMM-102: Professor Link is a good professor who cares about her students and their well being. The textbook is necessary, I didn't find the readings super helpful, but they were easy and covered the basics. This was her first time teaching this class but Blackboard was hard to understand and due dates were not always clear.
Do the homework and show up.
She was a good professor. Very passionate about the subject!
Really engaging class. Workload is not difficult. Just show up and attend the classes, and complete the minimal and simple work that is given!
Wonderful professor and makes the class fun and gets everyone engaged
I don't know about her true course guidelines content she teaches for ENGL101 since she was the professor my class switched to in the middle of the semester. She stuck pretty close to what my professor was doing already however she did give us more structure in the classroom and made attendance mandatory as well. Better than my other professor.
Very generous grader. As long as you make a solid attempt to complete assignments, participate in class (which she makes very easy) and have good attendance, you will ace this course. There is a book that you will have to annotate every once in a while but you are only assigned 1 chapter at a time and it takes no more than 30 minutes to complete.
I had a great experience with my time with Professor. Link. We got to write about things we were passionate about. She is a good grader and gives feedback. She cares about her students and wants the best.
LOVED Prof Link, enjoyed her class. I had some rough times this semester and she was so understanding and kind through it all. If you apply yourself, she'll love you. You can typically get extensions on assignments if you & your classmates come together and ask. Main issue w/ Link is that her Blackboard is disorganized and due dates are unclear.
Just show up to class and do the work and you'll do well in the class, she's very flexible but the only reason my grade was a C was because of my attendance. GREAT TEACHER !
She came in halfway through the semester, and did an amazing job at coming in and joining us where we were at. She expects participation, and doesn't make it awkward. If you come to class, communicate your needs(especially if its a deadline push)and participate you will do great. She grades lightly if you do what expected and gives great feedback.
Second semester in a class with her, absolutely amazing woman. Deeply cares about her students and wants the best for them. Loose outlines for the class schedule and adjusts according to student pace and interest. Speeches had clear grading criteria and were spaced out fairly. Strict on attendance but accommodating. Going to miss working with her.
Comm 102 Freshman CJ Major This course was very helpful and Professor link is very lenient and understanding.
Good teacher. You will do good if you put the work in.
Very engaging class. Just make sure you show up, and do the work.
She is very flexible and will work with you. cares deeply about students and is always so positive and bubbly.
She wants to help you to become a better public speaker, the work is easy, and a very good professor
The course has four speeches with essays accompanying them. Two speeches require formal dress. One speech is a group project. The required textbook is around $60. Everything is graded: attendance, notes, and busy work. The professor is kind, though, and grades mostly on effort. I enjoyed this course.
She is very easy to work with and cares deeply about her students if you are going to take a public speaking course I highly recommend taking it with this professor!!!
Great professor who cares about her students' success, reasonable workload, just show up to class, pay attention and you'll do well.
great professor, highly recommend would take class again but needs to work on organization skills and fairness.
You have about 3-4 speeches, class discussions, and some textbook use. Professor Link is someone I always recommend to friends who have not yet taken public speaking. She gives really clear instructions and creative control over speeches. She's very encouraging to her students and if you need help or support she is very easy to talk to. TAKE HER!!!
Took public speaking, attendance, and the book was mandatory. There was not a ton of lectures, much more small group work, and class discussion. Participation was necessary but not difficult at all. This class was honestly a breath of fresh air, and Professor Link made the class much less painful than it would have been without her.
Professor Link is one of the better professors of my freshman year at BSU, she has always given me good feedback on both group and independent projects (Speeches, papers, etc.). If you are consistently present for attendance, you should be fine. She lets you know when you are running low on excused absences. I would highly recommend her.
Great teacher, overall. Very fair in grading and makes sure you are recieving support you need.
Professor Link is an amazing professor! She cares so much about her students. She creates a comfortable environment to share and participate in! I would definitely take this class again!
I really liked Professor Link she was very caring and you could tell that she cared about her students and the topic of public speaking. She tells great stories and relates them to the course. With 4 or 5 speeches you have enough time to prepare for them and she gives you tips for what the speech should be like.
She is very fun and outgoing, her grading is clear, but she is confusing with homework. It is difficult to know what assignments are due when and she does not like when you do not do homework correctly or at all. Overall though, if you are a good student and try in her class she will make exceptions.
As long as you do your speeches and show up this course is amazing! Easy A.
Super light grader and very forgiving in terms of late work. My only complaint was how unstructured the class could be at times, and unclear grading criteria. Standard work load, maybe a little above average. Overall, great public speaking class.
I am leaving this class more confident and prepared to be a teacher and present topics to my future students. I liked the number of speeches throughout the semester because it allowed us to work on every small detail and practice.
she's amazing!!!!!!!! highly recommend her for COMM 102. she's really understanding and really sweet.
This professor has been so amazing and has taught me great things i'm going to need in life. This class wasen't boring and was very fun and a great experience thanks to the professor.
A caring individual who's understanding about deadlines and absences, even considering it was COMM102. This class is fun because it forces you to get to know people and talk, especially if you have a room of remarkable, non-NPCs like I did. She can be unclear with instruction, but nothing a quick email can't fix. Great at communication.
She is an awesome professor. Her lectures are very fun and light. Her expectations are very clear and reachable. She is such a light with a bright personality. One of the best professor on campus, very lenient, and understanding. She gives you 3 unexcused absence. I recommend taking her if you can.
Professor Link is one of a kind! She is extremely understanding and listens to what her students need. There is a lot of participation, but the conversations are interesting, so it is easy to get involved. The class material is also super relevant to society today. I strongly recommend this course and this professor. Worth it!
Participation for my Professor during every grouped on my classmate and she is taught, how to deliver of speech for the audience to encourage. I like Professor Sasha because always present attendance for the class and nice to deliver for every week topic about public speaking lesson. Professor Sasha give some tip about appearance to the audience.
I have taking this professor twice already, she is amazing. She is very helpful, she really accommodates, and is reachable through email! 10/10 would recommend!
The textbook was easy to read and understand. The assignments lacked a bit of direction but that's almost the point, you're meant to get creative with it. Professor Link is a very caring professor, she is always willing to work with you. Grading isn't super strict, as long as you show up and participate you should pass with flying colors :)
took 102 online, there were only 7 assignments the whole semester. She takes a while to grade but isnt strict with her grading at all. textbook is required but we never used it so dont waste your coin.
Attendance is extremely mandatory, if you miss more than the 2 that she lets you have, your overall grade will go down a whole letter. She is extremely understanding about late work. Almost every class you needed to read and write about chapters from the book
shes awesome
Professor Link was great. She made sure to bring the best out of all the students in her class.
She's a nice professor and wants you to learn how to master public speaking. There are two speeches and a final speech. She gave a lot of in-class and outside-of-class time to work on it. Responds to emails fast and has a good sense of humor. Take her for your public speaking you won't regret.
Overall, great professor! She really loves what she does and cares for her students. Very understanding and wants you succeed. Only graded on a few speeches plus attendance!! A decent amount of homework, but nothing intense just chapter analysis. Textbook is required, but you can get by with skimming the review. You will do fine if you do the work!
It's a good class to get started speaking and out of your comfort zone if not.
She is fine, just doesn't explain much. Was a little confused about what she was asking sometimes but it is a good class.
Amazing professor! Love her! Take her! very fun class!
Super nice and genuinely cares about her students! She's willing to work with you if you're struggling and is very fair with her grading.
Professor Link was definitely open to hearing students ideas and encouraged us to get out of our comfort zone through group work assignments and presentations.
The class was great honestly. Professor Link is really nice and understanding. She lets the students choose their speech topics based on interest. Throughout the semester we had 4 speeches. The first and last speeches are very short. The second one is a 5 minute informative speech, and the third one is a 6 and a half to 7 minute persuasive speech.
Homework for this class is chapters and quick reading analysis almost every day. There were only 3/4 major speeches we did. Super understanding and cares about her job. Ask questions, some things were confusing. She does not grade things quickly. Really strict on attendance. If you show up to class and do the assignments, you will pass.
She is super friendly and welcoming. Also very understanding. If you do the work you will pass. Only 3 speeches and they are not hard at all. I would defiently reccomend her, she is great! The only thing is that she is slow to grade some assignments, but you can always approach her and ask about your grade.
Professor Link is very kind, and I admire her as a person, but she isn't a great teacher. A lot of lectures devolved to unrelated tangents. Points that could have been made in a few words were stretched over multiple minutes, diluting the material with conversational sawdust. We also had a lot of reading that gave marginal insight on the material.
She is an overall good teacher, just could explain a little more, sometimes gets confused on what class she's already said something in because she teaches multiple classes.
She is super friendly and welcoming. If you do the work, you will pass. In this class, I have done 3 short speeches, and they were easy! You get to choose your topic, and if you can't come up with one, she will help you. She also gets great feedback! Participation does matter when evaluating your classmates' speeches and the homework.
Professor Link is a super amazing kind professor she's very understanding when it comes to late work the speeches you are required to do are very easy and she also gives you enough time to think of a topic and to practice your speech. The chapter leads that she requires the class to do are easy if you read the chapter you'll understand
She is amazing!!!! So caring and will give you an extension if you have a valid reason. Very welcoming and makes it easy to express any concerns. Would take her again. Also, taking her for SYS storytelling in digital media, she's the best!
Great professor overall but I will say sometimes things can get a bit puzzling. I would go to class not really sure what we would be doing that day. Some assignment instructions are confusing and unclear. However, she's easy to talk to and will gladly explain things to you or give extra credit. And aside from that the work isn't difficult at all.
Love her, have her for public speaking and digital storytelling. Very understanding!
Professor Link was absolutely amazing. She cares so much about her students, not only as a student but as a person to. She takes the time to get to know each and every one of her students in and out of class. Will take the time to go to an outside event to support you. Her class is very fair, and as long as you engage you are good!
Professor Link is a very engaging and helpful professor. She helps you understand the information while making the class entertaining.
Prof. Link was amazing, clearly knowledgeable about everything public speaking. Her attendance policy was very generous and she was flexible with due dates or missing assignments. If you do the work and check blackboard, you'll get an A and learn how to conduct yourself in a speech.
Professor Link is a great teacher. Although the reading from the textbook can be long, she always gives us enough time to do the reading analysis. She is a caring teacher and if you ever have problems, she is always willing to work with you to figure things out. Overall, she is a great teacher!
Professor Link is an amazing professor. She always comes to class ready to teach and is always in a positive mood. The homework load is easy you just have to submit 2 reading a guides a week which follows the textbook. Professor Link always gives good feedback after your speeches. I would definitely take a class with her again.
This teacher is very kind and caring, she motivates us to speak to our full potential and is very encouraging throughout the whole semester. Just an overall good teacher and person to talk to.
I appreciated professor Link's dedication and enthusiasm towards our class. She showed up everyday with high energy. I can tell she genuinely wants us to grow as young adults and strive in the future with what ever we decide to do with our lives.
She was great!
Very kind and always offering to help students in need.
I took an Intro to Public Speaking class where I had Sasha Link as my professor. She was actually one of my favorites for her inviting attitude and willingness to help if I ever got stuck on something.
Fantastic prof her energy helps get the mood up at 8am assignments are easy and to the point u can choose your own topics for your speeches which makes it more fun. And is very flexible n respectful even if u missed her classes. Would take again 5 star

Professor Link is an amazing professor. She really cares about her students a lot and will do anything to help you be successful. Overall her class was so fun and really had me thinking.
Very engaged with her students and makes you work together a lot and is a very discussion based class.
Prof. Link is amazing. She cares about the well-being of all of her students, and she has a lot of respect and understanding for them. She is also very passionate about the content she shares with her students, and she wants them to enjoy it as much as she does. Her excitement while teaching makes it more engaging for students.
I really loved Professor Link, she was very understanding and genuinely cares about her students. If you're thinking about taking digital media and storytelling, do it. its a fun easy class where you can pick your own topics.
Professor Link is very caring and a wonderful professor. The work is not tedious, and you have plenty of time to work on assignments in and out of class. This class is a hefty project-based class with project lead discussions and high-stakes work. I really enjoyed that Professor Link was super respectful and kind to work with as well.
This professor is very laid back and easy going. She is very understanding and doesn't give a lot of work. Even without a lot of work given, there was so much to learn in her class. I would definitely take Professor Links class again.
If your a dual enrollment student TAKE THIS CLASS!! This teacher was amazing, whether it was giving comments on essays and how you can improve your speeches. If you want to get better at public speaking TAKE THIS CLASS
Ain't got much to say. Just take any class you see her name on.
COMM 102 Intro to Public Speaking: Professor Link is very Zealous, has great Hats. Very kind and caring. Low key an easy pass however this is also coming from a person who has public speaking experience. Literally just participate and be kind. Very understanding and accommodating. Course is easy. Professor is chill.
She is probably the best professor I've had at BSU so far. Lectures aren't very heavy, she doesn't give a lot of work outside of readings from the textbook and your speeches, and she is very willing to help you if you have any issues. TAKE HER!!!
