I very much enjoyed taking ECN with Radisich. His quizes are difficult as are the tests. If you go to class, pay attention and contribute the lecture can be engaging. If you have no interest in contributing then it can be easy to become distracted. In my opinion he is a very good teacher and he knows the subject well.

Great teacher. Can't pass tests by memorizing material. Doesn't make you read the book, but I did and I got an A. Class material is almost verbatim out of book-turns out to be REALLY helpful. Tests/Quizzes are hard but he's got a good curve. Class grade is made of midterm (40%), final (50%), and quizzes (10%)-no extra credit so you have to do good!

I really did not enjoy this professor. He had his favorites and it was obvious who they were. He was also very unapproachable and unpleasant to talk with. There were only weekly quizzes, A midterm, and Final and nothing else in between. Its very difficult to get a good grade unless you really know about economics prior to the class.

Lets me just put it this way, you get like 15 quizzes throught the semester and they are worth like 1% of the grade, so they pretty much useless. You get 2 test, thats it, the mid-term and then the final which are worth like 60% of your grade, and the worst thing is there are no reviews to prepare you for the tests!!

Wouldn't take again

Doesn't teach much, your WHOLE grade is based on midterm and final. Does not really explain anything that is required.

Doesn't really teach much and is not very involved. He expects you to simply understand.

I could never get him to respond to e-mails and if you get a good score he acusses you of cheating and copying off the internet when there is nothing on the internet to begin with. His questions don't show up on the internet. I would never take this person again

My class isn't even done yet and I just wanted everyone reading this to know to look elsewhere for an economics teacher, I love the world of business but he makes it .. difficult to learn, between the hard to follow lectures and the study guide "prep material" that has nothing to do with the final. feeling hopeless sucks

Would not take this professor again. the whole class grade depends on midterm and final and does not care about their students. hardly gives any work so when it comes to the midterm if you bomb it then there is no going back.

Lots of places I could start but overall take this class with someone else or dont plan to do much over the course because it requires a good amount of attention. The concepts and such are not hard but they are taught and graded is terribly. The mid term and final together account for 80% of your grade (40% and 40%) so if u suck at test taking DONT

I took him in an online summer 5-week course. All lectures were recorded, easy to follow, and made it easy to understand concepts. Graded off midterm(40%), final(40%), 2 quizzes but dropped lowest(10%), and homework(10%). Exams were open note and based on lecture content but were in a lockdown browser with webcam. Overall, straightforward class

While it is true your entire grade is pretty much your midterm, final, and one quiz- they're all open note and very easy to pass. The recorded lectures were easy to follow and understand, and as long as you take notes on EVERYTHING he says in the videos you'll be set for the tests!
