Quite simply the best prof. this school has. If you want to learn, he wants you to learn and wants to teach you. Always there for anything you need help with. Never too busy to help a student in need.

This professor is one of the best in the business faculty at U of W. He doesnt make you try and memorize a textbook, he only gets you to study what he thinks is important. His office door is always open and he is always will to add marks if you thought you were graded unfairly; plus he teaches students life lessons every lecture. Highly Recommended

Very knowledgeable and very helpful but the work load is hard. Group projects are 50+ pages long and not easy. One of the hardest projects I've done, along with very confusing and hard tests.

Professor Singh is great. He is intelligent and he teaches you beyond the course work, his classes are challenging but interesting. The work load is reflective of a 3000 level course, anyone who thinks different isn't ready to be in a career. He is approachable and changes your grade to what you feel is right. Dr. Singh is truly an asset to the faculty. He is extremely educated with great insights on the current industry of international business. Be prepared to enjoy the lectures because his delivery isn't like any other professor; truly interactive and engaging with all of the students. All of his IB courses have been the most valuable of my degree.

What can I say, he likely teaches some of the toughest courses in the faculty. However, if you try, you will gain incredibly useful knowledge for your career moving forward. Yes, he is a tough marker, yes the assignments are really had, yes the exams are borderline twisted, but I guarantee you will learn lots. He just wants to raise the bar.

Singh is undeniably a unique character. Yes his courses are challenging, but if you put in the effort and participate, you will do well. Singh doesn't babysit anyone, but he does recognize effort and is willing to help any student who approaches him with the mindset to improve. I've taken 3 courses with him and would definitely take a 4th.

I have taken almost every course Dr. Singh teaches and I have no regrets. Students should participate from day 1 to the end and write down ur comments. He challenges his students to think critically and this makes every lecture different. Read through the syllabus closely and use it as a guide all year. Write down EVERYTHING and will do very well.

I truly believe that if you want to succeed in the business world, you need to have critical thinking skills, and this is exactly what Professor Singh teaches. I have grown because of his classes. He teaches you REAL life scenarios and that you WILL apply to your day-to-day life when doing business. Although he assigns tough papers, it's worth it.

All of Mr. Singh's classes are tough and challenging, but this challenge and stress that you get from his classes will prepare you better for the real world. Mr. Singh really cares about his students and wants his students to well. Yes there are times where the course could be challenging, but all his courses are like that, you have to manage your time wisely and not leave everything till the last moment. Sat was a great professor. Hes very knowledgeable and very helpful to his students. He expects you to work for your marks and will evaluate you accordingly. I had him for International Marketing and International Management and was satisfied with his teaching style.

Professor Singh is by FAR one of, if not my most favourite prof at the U of W. Each class consists of lectures on the topic of Int'l business along with life lessons. Outside of class, Singh wants to get to know you, your interests, and genuinely wants you to do well. Yes you have to work for your grade, but it is WORTH IT!

This class was very informative. There was only 6 of us totally of which it made the class more intimate and brought more richness to the lecture. However, the lecture material was very interesting and Singh introduced as many examples as possible. 10/10 would recommend this class and any of professor Singh's courses.

Probably one of the best professors I have ever had. Wish I could take more classes from him but Im done with my degree. You have to put in the work but it is worth it. Very understanding, and be prepared to use your brain to apply concepts. Would recommend. Make sure to take note of everything, even things he says in passing. Its all important

Dr Singh is an asset to UW Business. His classes are not easy, his classes/tests will require you to think and participate. But if Im being honest, after 120 credits of school, the only material I remember are from his classes. You will learn so much from him, and dont be afraid to visit his office, he is very understanding and easy to talk to!

Dr. Singh is probably my favourite professor at UofW! He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring, always willing to give students good feedback and help them however he can. His classes aren't the easiest and you need to work hard but nothing you shouldn't expect at this level. This was my second class with him and I wish I could take more!!

I've taken 2 classes with Professor Singh. He is no doubt the best business professor at UW. His classes aren't restricted to just textbook concepts but reach out to everything happening around the world. Dr. Singh's assignments and tests can be difficult and heavily based on lectures. Readings provided are essential to securing a good grade. However, he doesn't seem to punish students with overly harsh grades and will provide help and advice to improve. He is one of the most approachable and affable professors I have encountered at the university.

Dr. Singh is a great professor! Make sure you attend class, and speak up and ask questions- because that is the only way to get participation marks. If you are ever struggling with a topic, meet with him in office hours-he really wants to see you succeed! Do not read off notes/ your screen when you present your project.

Dr Singh is an amazing professor. His teaching is very unique and not stressful at all for a 4000 level course. He doesnt stress on bookish knowledge and teaches from his extensive life experiences as a international marketer. I would recommend you to take the course as it is very valuable.

Lectures are interesting and to-the-point. Dr. Singh makes the course material easy to understand. If you ask at least one thoughtful question per class you'll get a good participation mark. However, it's very difficult to achieve an A+ in this course since he rarely grades anything above an 82/83. No final exam.

Dr. Singh is a good lecturer as he relates course material to real life. Make sure to attend class as what he teaches is testable (specifically the numericals and concepts beyond the ppt) and that participation is worth 20%. Overall, I liked this class because of the engagement but I did find that he is a hard grader (in a good way).

Prof Singh is a very excellent prof willing to work with the students if they show commitment and the effort thus he offers support any time. the course had only one midterm exam which based on concepts he taught in class. the lectures are very interesting as students are encouraged to contribute and share their views in class with out judgment.

Dr Satyendra cares about every student. He is a wise businessman and dedicated teacher. I recommend all students who are interested in the business market to try this course. It's worth. Group work is a lot of work, but as long as you actively communicate with team members and professors, you can get satisfactory results.

The second 4th yr class I took with prof Singh, I enjoyed both classes. There was clear grading criteria thus students know what the expectation is. students will be evaluated on many different criteria hence there is no need to worry about reading too much for exams. prof is willing to help anytime if you show the effort. Dr. Singh is a phenomenal professor. Class material was very interesting & direct. He was very accessible outside of class, replied to emails in less than an hour. In my 4 years at uni, he was the only prof who called me by my first name(a non English name) and wanted to make sure it was pronounced properly! Wish I took more classes with him.

Sat Singh has been one of my favourite professors throughout my degree. His classes do require a lot of work, but it is worth it. I learned so much, and thoroughly enjoyed every class. I liked taking Emerging Markets taught by Dr. Singh. The group projects were amazing as some of the members are now my good friends. It helps students to know what real-life work would be like as there are group projects and you get to know how to read academic papers which not a lot of courses offer at the University of Winnipeg.

They have their opportunities to learn about essential features of managing an international organization by practicing how to control business interests across national and cultural boundaries through group activity in class.

The group and individual project are based on a given topic and students can learn research based skills. I would recommend to take one of his classes atleast once.

Lecture are “the” source of the exam, so attend them. He doesnt have textbook, but all he cares about is that you have the concept cleared, no matter where from the internet u understand that. Class will be easier if you focus on what i am learning from this, instead of i have to pass or i need this grade attitude. Have fun guys :)

I'm not sure about the rest of his classes, but I found that showing up to classes was mandatory to do well in the course. It had a really big group project, but we had lots of time for working on it, and each group was given a meeting to discuss it with lots of time to fix any issues before it was due. Wished we had more time for the final project
