Great Prof. one of the best Auditing prof at QC. There should be more teachers like him. Talks alot, but the material is interesting and requires homework.

He is the best accounting professor at QC. He gives lots of opportunities not just pass this course but also do very well. Some professors should really learn from him. Acct 311 is the hardest course, but Prof. Satenstein made it so easy and interesting. I really recommend him to anybody.

The class itself it moderate, not that easy. There is a lot of chances for extra credit, do hw. Very approachable. Goes over hw in details. Great review b4 test. Covers the entire syllabus. I took this professor for auditing 1. What I liked about him is that he is very organized. He know what he wants to do and when it should be done. This eliminates confusion and time wasting on non essential issues. Your grade will depend on hard you want to work. The harder you work the more you learn and the better your grade. Work hard.

Perfect, perfect perfect. Very knowlegable prof. Teaches perfect. All you have to do is to come to the class, he will clarify everything, chew it and put it to your mouth. Best ACCT311 Professor. Comes to class early, a lot of extra credit to boost grade. 3 Exams with hard theory part and easy math part. DO NOT MISS HIS PRACTICE EXAMS day before exam-that's what his exams look like. Read book, class notes, and notes from blackboard site, and check your QC EMail daily (he sends a lot fo them) and you can get an A too.

Best professor in the school. You will work your ass off, you will hand in 2 projects and 5 hw (take about 3 hrs. to do) and you will take 3 difficult exams. But you will learn from a successful , humble, funny, brilliant person. Ur lucky if you get him.

Not a easy course though, it could be easy if the pressures are low. Too much hard works every day. I study hard and got 87...for other courses, if I studied like that I would have got 95+. Extremely hard professor and be ready for hard tests. Only care about good students. It is good students world. For average students...DO HARD WORK to get a "B"

I took him for 311 and 350 @ the sametime. I won't lie its a lot of work to take both classes together. He give u plenty of chances to boost up your grade. He give out quiz once in a while and the quiz count as extra credit points to your exam. U have to get used to his teaching style in order to do good. It won't take that long to get used to it.

Great experience; one of the better accounting Profs at QC. Big workload and the material isn't easy. Gives you ample amount of ways to boost your grade. So if you're a hard worker but never gets the As or A+, you have a good shot at getting it in this class. Does have a slight temper though, don't get on his bad side. A+ Professor.

He is one of the best accounting professors in QC. It was my pleasure to take this class with him. I have learned a lot in his class. He's a good professor. Alot of reading and alot work so prepare yourself but the class is enjoyable and goes fast. He doesn't pay favoritism either. He just remembers the people who PARTICIPATE!!!!! The class should be longer though and in my opinion a requirement not an elective.

Great Professor. He enjoys teaching and doesn't have that ego that many other professors have after working in the real world. Offers a lot of extra credit which allows you to be in great shape going into the the final. If you go to class, do well on the extra credit quizes and do all the HWs you will get the grade you were hoping for.

Its definitely a hard course- there's no getting around that, but he's one of the best teachers i've had in queens college. He explains the material thoroughly and at a level that the students can understand. There are two tests and a final- and with plenty of extra credit you can definitely get an A

A decent guy w/ a good sense of humor. Makes the class interesting and entertaining. IF you do all of your work it is easy to get a good grade. However, doing all of your work is not that easy. There are VERY involved homework's with mandatory submissions, & madatory participation points, & a VERY INVOLVED group project. WAY TOO MUCH 4 AN ELECTIVE

Best professor I've ever had. He was a CFO at a large bank, and has a gift for teaching. He really cares about the students and wants to make sure that everyone gets it by assigning mandatory HW and giving students the opportunities to become "experts" for every lecture. If QC is smart, this man will be tenured soon. Tough, fair and extremely thorough in his presentation(The man even makes his own workbook for his 311 class), this school needs more educators like him(Unlike other profs who tend to rely on testbanks and take on a laissez-faire attitude in teaching).One of the few first-rate accounting profs in QC.

Arguably the best Professor in Queens College. He is an outstanding teacher, always responds to student emails, gives interesting and valuable projects, and is very inspirational. Not an easy class, there is a lot of work but he gives plenty of opportunity to make sure you do well. For an older man he looks great.

Wow. Listen to the good reviews. AMAZING!.A lot of work (Open Book Quiz and HW almost every week)..but if you go to class, take notes, and listen carefully, he will reveal every question for the midterm and final. I read the good comments on here before deciding to take 311 and i WAS SOO excited to take his class. My excitement faded as the days went on. Besides the enormous workload- I also felt like I was in grade school with his sign-in sheets just to answer a hw question! I felt All that did was exploit students-- not my idea of fun.

he is an excellent professor. workload is heavy. 9 quizzes, 11 hw plus the extra credits. but trust me these things will really prepare u for the xm. he gives lots of chances to improve ur grade. he is very responsible professor. 11/10 professor. don't listen to those bad reviews. if u can't do well in the class plz change the major.

This class is very intense, but with all the required work & extra credit opportunity then there no way to fail. Sign up for all the homework’s even if you don’t know the answers. Attempt the codification project & study for the quizzes. Most students complain about him, but the practice midterm & final review is very similar to the actual test

Honestly, a great professor. He equips you with everything you need in the class to succeed, of course you have to work for it and put in the effort. Lots of extra credit opportunities. The first half of the course is considerably more difficult than the second, but all in all a great professor!

Best accounting professor I've had at QC up to this point. willing to answer all questions and makes himself available for all students. Attendance is mandatory but you don't want to miss lectures anyway. He gives a lot of work and many extra credit opportunities that prepare you for his exams. If you fail his class, consider switching majors

He's t truly an amazing professor! He does an effective job simplifying complicated material through his workbook. Be sure to master his workbook and don't bother reading the textbook. Listen closely to his midtermfinal review for hints and do all the extra credit. No reason to get lower than a B.

Too much work , really a lot of work , , the material is clear and easy in hos workbook But the amount of work is not fair for students who have work for their living or have families

The bulk of what's on the the midterm and final is found on his review sheet. No surprises. A lot of material to learn, but the exams are not hard. He even gives extra bonus points on them if you do the work to get them Sometimes, he doesn't explain on to why something is done that way. If you can do the review sheet problems, you are fine.

I took his class last semester. It's a lot of work but I definitely learned a lot. He takes class seriously and is very organized which is helpful. Workbook is super helpful and so are the practice exams. If you do all the work and study a lot, it's easy to get a good grade in this class. Glad I took 311 with him, he's a great professor.
