My professional and technical writing class was easy! She gives you MORE than enough time to complete all assignments in class leaving you with NO homework and NOTHING to study since all assignments and tests are project based. She DOES take attendance, though, which I HATE, but she's really nice and you will learn something from the class! :D

She is super easy. there are no tests or quizes. all you do is write 5 essays. she explains it really well...it's stupid proof. you hardly need to go to class. if you like to write, take her class!

She is very nice. Definately willing to help out. She tells you EXACTLY what she wants and how she wants it. Pay attention to the little things on your essays. That's where everyone gets the most points off. Such as citations and headers and footers and stuff. Kind of a strict attendance policy. But otherwise easy. Just do what she says.

Shes a great teacher! She will help you and unlike other teachers she makes your essays reasonable, only 3 pages. I would deff recommend her !

I had her for ENC1101 and ENC1102, and I enjoyed them both! In ENC1101, you learn the basics of writing a college-level paper. My favorite was her ENC1102: The Psychology of Fairy Tales class

I had the Fairy tales course and the class was very interesting and very easy if you pay attention and do all the work.

I took this course in term 2 (6 weeks)and it was an easy A. She doesn't like you being on your phone and takes attendance everyday. Textbook is about fairy tales and you only do 2 major EASY projects. You watch movies on The Little Mermaid and Frozen. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE PROFESSORS! Her class was very interesting. She taught ENC1102 using fairy tales and it works! She only has 1 test which was the midterm. Make sure you read the material and put a lot of time into your papers. And also participate in the discussions. She is great professor!

Dr. Budhu has created so many helpful handouts for this course. Her papers are not very long, but she grades them harshly. Basically, her class is following directions (MLA format) and analysis. She does not give tests, except for the state mandatory online English course, only large paper assignments. Also, she is very easy on the eyes and ears.(:

Her class is amazing! The class is about fairy tales. If you are into fairy tales then take her. I pass her class with a B but you can easily pass with a A. Just do what she says and you will pass with flying colors. The midterm is super easy. NO FINAL! Book is required.

Honestly the best english teacher ever. She gives great feedback on papers. Four in total. No midterm or final. The hardest part of the class was the "MyLabsPlus" that we needed to take online. 100% recommend!

She is a wonderful professor. I really liked how she used fairy tales to get students to think about gender roles and how to break them. Assignments are all pretty easy, just make sure you actually read the stories she assigns.

Prof. Budhu focuses more on writing assignments and gives short lectures. She is the best. There's an online portion of the class . Follow the syllabus and her instructions. Finish pearson during the middle of the semester it will benefit you. She does not give tests or quizzes. There is no excuse for anyone to have lower than a 80% in the class.

Her class was super easy. She is a very nice, kind-hearted teacher. She sometimes let you out early to go work on assignments and she explains really well on what she looks for when she grades assignments.

She us a very nice teacher, she is very understanding when it comes to late work. if you fail her class then you really just sat there and did nothing.

This class is so ridiculously EASY and SIMPLE (especially for high school AP English students; this will feel like a middle school class to you). All you have to do is follow her instructions and guidelines for the extremely easy papers she gives. She literally walks you through everything and grades according to if you did what she asked !

Loved this class!! Dr. Budhu explains exactly what you need to do to get an A. Follow her directions and youll do well. Three papers and online grammar work determines your grade. If you complete the online work early with a 70 or better, shell give you a 100%. She also gives a few days off for online work and writing days. Highly recommend!

I took this class after taking an AP class and not passing the test by 1 point, and it felt like I was taking a middle school english class. She is very good and caring about english. Just show up to class, and follow the instructions she outlines well, and you will do fine.

Starting as a dual enrollment student, I can say this is a very good professor to start with. She's caring and very good at teaching. Text book not required. Pearson is a lot but you get extra credit for doing it on time. Easy A, 10/10 would take again.

Proffesor Budhu is amazing. You have three papers : a fairy tale analysis , movie analysis( you pick the movie), and a research paper. No final and she tells you exactly how to write each paper. Before you turn in your paper she looks at it as many times as you want and also during specific class days. She gives many days off. Easy class , take it.

This teacher is a very good teacher, she grades tough. Easy A if you follow instructions. Its very guided and specific but it gets so easy to the point where you slack. Very tough on little things but nice and sweet person. Be on time and attend all classes, gives points for attendance. Do the Pearson work ahead of time.

AWESOME TEACHER, i had struggles while writing papers and she is the absolute best. best teacher ever she explains exactly what she is expecting in you paper. she is very clear and makes each story, or activity that we have to write a paper on makes it soooooo interesting never was bored while reading the required stories.

she has conferences for ever paper given. she gives great feed back and tells you exactly what to put in or take out of your paper. great professor over all currently taking her for ENC 1102, much more work but again she explains everything in detail.

I had Dr Budhu for both ENC1101 & 1102 if I could have her teach me ALL my classes I would. Her grading rubric is very clear and easy. She guides you step by step with each assignment to ensure you succeed. 3 assignments, 3 homework assignments and 1 final paper for the enitre semester. Her class is based off fairy tales easy A. TAKE HER!!!!

professor Budhu was an awesome teacher. she really makes you feel cared for and makes sure you understand her syllabus. if there is any confusion she is available outside of class and answers within 24 hrs. did not think a writing class would be easy but thanks to her I am ready for enc1102.

3 papers, prewrites, NO extra credit and NO exam. Prof. Budhu is the best prof. She has simple guidelines that if achieved you will pass with an easy A. She is the only prof that actually cares for her students. She dedicates her lectures to making sure her students understand the requirements perfectly. She prepares you for enc1102.

Professor Budhu was amazing! She is so sweet and very thorough with what she expects on her papers. She gives great feedback and her class is almost impossible to fail. She is always willing to help. Attendance matters and classes are mostly just powerpoint reviews. She gives you all the resources you need to pass and I would definitely recommend.

I took Dr. Budhu in Fall of 2020 for ENC1101 and ended up taking her for ENC1102 because she was that great. We were online, but she was the sweetest thing ever and more than accommodating. She really does care for all of her students and only wants you to succeed. 10/10 would recommend!

Gives amazing feedback. I reccomend submitting your paper earlier for her to give back feedback. I had her for ENC1101 too. The first grade I got back for a paper was a D. However, I started asking her for more feedback and it helped me get A's on the rest of my papers.

I really recommend her class. She is super nice and interesting to listen to. Before each essay, you submit a draft and she gives very useful advice to help you do better on the final paper. Always wants to help her students do their best. No exam which is a plus! Take her.

She makes class very interesting since all work is fairytale themed. She clearly states how she wants her work done and is open to questions. always do draft and your papers will get a high grade. dont wait to write she is a tough grader but so sweet. she explains what she is looking for and even gives plenty of examples and time to turn in.

Very knowledgeable and passionate professor! The stories we read are very interesting and based on fairytales. She explains her instructions very well and if you follow her instructions you will have a good grade. Her lectures are very insightful and I would definitely take her again!

The professor sets her standards of writing at the start of the semester, clearly spelled out for your success. She is a fair grader and is critical of your writing to make you better. She provides a lot of feedback if you ask and pushes you to think "outside of the box."

I love Professor Budhu Barajas. She is a tough grader and she will correct you on your papers. Participation and attendance matters too, it'll be apart of your grade, and keep in mind that she does not record her previous Zoom meetings for you to watch if you miss class. I do suggest doing the notes for extra credit for the papers, it helps a lot.

I would like to express my appreciation to this professor for creating a class that is both engaging and easy to understand, while also catering to the individual needs of every student. Professor Budhu's class was super easy with only 2 papers and one research paper. The first two papers had to be at least 2 pages long and the research paper was only 1 page long. When you hand in a rough draft she actually takes the time and gives you feedback on how to better your paper and receive an A. She is really nice and sweet.

What an amazing experience I had taking this online live class! Professor Budhu-Barajas encouraged me in my writing with each paper and I excelled with her direction. The final project was a labor of love and my efforts secured me an A in her class. Fairytale are fascinating pieces of literature that you will enjoy!

Different type of class. We read and analyze 'fairy' stories such as Snow White, Cinderella. She is a tough grader but if you have the basics you are able to pass. Not a hard class, you just have to do the work and use critical thinking.

Professor Budhu's class is engaging but rigorous. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of it. Unstuckstudy was a lifesaver for prepping papers - highly recommend!

Such a breeze with this class! We only had to write 3 essays (1 page & a half) basically doing character analysis on fairytales. Literally just follow her instructions and templates & you'll pass w/ flying colors.

Very tough grader, she gives a total of 3 essays. I've gotten 90s on other classes on more difficult papers, but I get 70s on her class? I honestly don't get it. She's good though, and answers to her e-mails. I give her 4 stars because I actually think her lectures are good, she's nice, and she wants you to engage, but she is a tough grader.

i loved this professor, super clear on how she wanted papers done and as long as you follow directions, you'll pass. only three short papers (fairytale, movie, research) so no long essays! she's a bit of a tough grader and attendance is mandatory, but class flies by and she never drags it. def recommend!!

I wish she had been in ENC1101. She is just incredible. There is a lot of group interaction but no discussions or books to buy. I've gained a lot of knowledge.
