This teacher is HORRIBLE. Super easy with just busy work, but he is the worst professor ever! I can't stand to look at him. Has no idea how to teach, just reads powerpoints, in general I never wanted to go to class just so I didnt have to see his face. Easy A, but I'd rather take a B to actually learn something. Worst teacher I've had in three year

I enjoyed the class and Mr. Vaver. Frankly, I found him helpful and he wrote a nice reference letter at the end of the semester for my potential job. The most important thing is getting your work done on time. Of course, for those of you who don't like this, I am not sure how you will like the business world. Practical application is the key.

Great teacher, allot of papers due for classes, but if you have a mind you can easily do them in about an hour. The papers are life experiences about management and very simple. Really good prof, focuses on teaching the class and working towards the final project for most of the semester. Helps everyone understand how to do the assignments and to make sure you are prepared for the final.

One of the best projects I've ever had. We presented to managers and get real feedback from not only Scot, but the managers. My partner was offered an internship! This class is one you want to take.

He's been a respected professor for many years at Stout. There's a reason why this guy has such a high rating - he knows his stuff. If you put in the effort and do your work, his class is easy - he gives you the tools you need to succeed not only in the class, but in life in general. I wish all professors were like him.

He was easygoing and caring if you participated in class discussions and completed your homework. He had a "if you dug yourself a hole, you can get out of it" attitude. I enjoyed the course with him.

Scot is a blunt teacher, and it works perfectly. You are not walking into his classroom for a lecture and homework. You are walking in for a conversation, and you are here to learn things that will shape your life. Some things might feel a little strange or tough, but they are very worth it. I will keep in contact with Scot beyond Stout for sure.

Professor spends excessive class time sharing personal stories, assuming his experiences apply to everyone. Offers unprofessional alternatives to quizzes, like making basketball shots. Claims to be blunt but constantly pushes a negative mindset, telling students "life sucks." Needs to focus more on actual teaching and less on personal storytelling.

Scot is the man! He's was honest and on the internship I had this summer a lot of what he said it would be like was right. He is also my co-op advisor and helped a lot with that to. If you can take him, do it!
