will go over things many different ways to make sure everyone gets it...it comes very easy to him so he teaches it very well, I would take him again, he's young, super nice and seems to like teaching which is a rare feature in a professor especially in math

I failed the first time I took this class, but when I had him I got an A. He really loves to teach and it shows. Plus if you dont miss any classes and you have an A in the class you dont have to take the final. If you have problems in math pick him he is a great teacher.

Great professor. Very knowledgeable. I had him for Calc 2. Outgoing personality. Of all the math professors I've had he is at the top of the list. He takes the time necessary to explain material and will make himself available at his office if you need help. His tests are difficult but if you get an A on them you aren't required to take the final

If you're a complete idiot when it comes to any type of Math, Professor B. is the one to take! He explains College Algebra in a way that is easy to understand. Very helpful and VERY easy on the eyes:)Homework is expected to be turned in each class period..odds only.. show up for every class and maintain an A.. = NO FINAL!

Prof.B makes learning this particular subject fun. As long as you show up and pay attention to the material you will do fine in this course. He is always willing to help anyone out that is just not getting it. His class is very structured you know exactley what you are going to do each and every day.

Very highly recommended teacher. Fun personality and great knowledge of the material, very easy to understand . Gives review sheet for every test and exam. Explains all difficult problems from the homework.

Excellent instructor. Clear and concise in adhering to scheduling and instruction as defined in the syllabus. Hands down one of the most competent Professor at Edison. Turn in all homework, show up to every class = A and no final.

Excellent teacher. Makes concepts very easy to understand. Definately best prof to take for mathematics course. Very knowlegable and reflects in his teaching style.

I signed up for Algebra with Prof. B. after other students recommended him to me, describing him as "awesome". He has a very friendly manner and has an organized, very knowledgeable, positive and encouraging approach in teaching. I did the best that I have ever done in math in his class and I highly recommend him.

Really nice and funny. Tests are not easy but hes a great teacher and person!

Best math teacher. Teaches the hard classes with clarity and enthusiasm and makes them understandable. He's made the hard classes fun. Have taken CALC II, III, & Diffy Q with Professor B. He is very helpful, good at explaining and makes himself available for help if you cant't make office hours.

He is the best prof at edison! Gives you every opportunity to get an A in the class, including extra credit on test for completing test review. Attendance counts towards your grade.

I think he's great!! He's very understandable and he inspired me to change my major to Math and possibly have a career in education!

It is the BEST Math prof. at Edison College. Before I had his class Math didn't make sense but thx to him I'm getting a minor in Math =D Highly recommend it specially if math is one of your weak points. I also found it very helpful to have a smart CUTE prof teaching such a hard subject lol.

professor B. is a great man. he is willing to help you with anything you need. cal 1 was a breeze cause he gives out 2 quizes a day and you have the chance to not have to take the exam. as long as you come to all the classes and have an A in the class you dont have to take it. i would recommend him to anybody. he is aslo a hottie.

Wonderful professor! VERY clear! Successfully taught Calc I 3 horus a wekk without being boring. Gives fair credit for partial correct work, small-group quiz every class. Overall, he made it the least work possible to learn Calc I, and after moving on, I realize that it wasn't because he made the content easier--what i mean is, I really LEARNED it!

Having to do our homework online really helped me out a lot. Also, he explains everything very well, is willing to help, and gives print outs of your grades after every test.

I was always good in math until I came to his class. He teaches way to many sections for one test. No multiple choice..he takes off points for baby mistakes.Whatever you learn Monday will on the test that Wednesday. HW does help..he is cool but I dont like the fact he gives us so much all at once. Take him if you can grasp a lot of math at once.

He is great! He explains everything clearly and moves at an even pace. He speaks to everyone, not just the "hot girls" in class. While it sucks to have constant quizzes, it was nearly impossible to fall behind in his class. If he sees you a semester or two later in the halls he stops and says hello, I cant say that for anyone else at Edison.

Hard teacher, but i passed with a B+.He is very helpfull. Wish he was easier when he grades but i was so proud of myself after i finished becasue it was a challange. He was not bad to look at, and has very nice hair!!!:)

Professor B is awesome!!! If you are not sure who to take...take him. He explains things in a way you will understand. ALWAYS willing to help. Attendance and H.W is mandatory, but to do well in Trig. you need to do it anyways. Tests are 80%, 10% H.W 10% attendance... TAKE HIM!!!

Very clear in his teachings. Always available for extra help per office hours. Gives extra credit opportunities to boost your test scores..as long as you don't forget to turn them in..whoops. Oh yeah..and did I mention he was cute :)

Very easy class. Can get boring. Mandatory attendance if you wanna be exempt from the exam.

Great Professor, totally fair and helpful. Worked with the kids that didn't catch on as quick...became a little redundant but I could see that being helpful in higher level math classes. He makes me want to continue in math for sure!

This was the best math class i have ever taken. I took 1033 3 times and barely passed. College algebra i took in a summer course and did extremely well. He made me want to take another math class with him and I HATE MATH! He is def. a great professor to take.

I had Prof B for trig and he made learning the material super easy. Granted, trig is pretty easy anyway, but Prof B's explanations and examples made it crystal clear. Such a good teacher, I am taking him for calc 3.

He is a good teacher. He explains things good, I got a D because it was one of my first classes and I really didnt do a lot of studying. He offers a lot of help if you need it and if you study you are sure to get an A.

Great Professor! Easy to talk to and easy to listen to. He goes over anything that seems confusing to anybody. He breaks down complex ideas and make them simpler. I'm taking for as long as possible.

I don't know. He's kind of unforgiving if you don't make it to the Calc.3 exam. Even if you're not enrolled in the class...Just kidding. He's cool as hell and one of the very best teachers period! The new doo looks weird though.

professor Berthiaume is a good professor, it took me a while to get used him because he's very tough on you but makes you learn! He's good at explaining things and goes at a somewhat steady pace. Be prepared to focus and study you're butt off!!!

I hadn't had a math class in over 6 years, I took Prof. B for MAC 1105 and MAC 2311 and got an A in both classes. 10/10. Take this guy's classes, it is worth it.

Great teacher, but not easy. His test are tough but fair. He is more than willing to help out his students. Go to class and do the homework and you should be okay.

He was a great teacher. Taught at a good pace s0 students could understand. Test were ok. But he does give alot of homework which is due every other day which makes it hard to keep up..take 20% if late. And his reviews are very long like 50 questions or more with things that is not on test so makes it hard to concentrate on whats important.

Great Professor! Class is FUN! Summer class moves VERY Fast so stay on top of your work if you plan on taking his class. Lots of Homework, and reviews, but he pretty much gives you your A at the beginning of the semester, you just have to keep it. PLUS If you keep a A average and come to every class, you don't have to take the FINAL!!

The patience the Professor has is limitless...and trust me, our class certainly took a toll on him.Study hard,do the homework, get help, attend the study sessions...it's all worth it, regardless what professor you have! I had this professor my freshman year for trig in 2007.i went to every class, did all the homework, maintained an A in his class and was exempt from his final, moved away to SD and came back to take his calculus class. to my divestation i lost my job and could not attend his class and i was disappointed because him and his wife are the best!

THE best math prof. i have ever had! his way of teaching is legit. perfect attendance, and an A in the class exempts you from the final. Tests are difficult if you dont study but he makes sure you understand. Trig can be hard for some but he made this class super easy..sadly hes going to Brazil. He will be missed

Even though I didn't have him through my higher level math classes, I went back to him and he was more than helpful when I needed. BEST TEACHER EVER.

HE IS MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR. Hands down! & that is extremely hard to say about a math professor! He is laid back, cute, funny, and an all around very precise math teacher ! This is what a college professor who loves what he does should be! Very clear, very patient, moves quickly with lessons but has clearly figured out the best ways to get you to learn. Keep up with homework and test reviews. It's a lot of work but he is awesome and wants you to do well.

Prof. B is an amazing math teacher, clearly explains the material, uses clear, easy to remember examples and is very professional. If you want to learn about calculus, take him. He is really helpful and explains topics well. Be prepared to work hard. I took him for 3 separate math classes.
