Great Accounting teacher, I highly suggest him. I took him for financial first semester and had to take him again for managerial second semester. He is hilarious in class and makes things interesting, he is extremely helpful with projects and care s a lot about how his class does.

I love this guy, he made me want to come to class bcz he was so fun to listen to. He jokes around and he's the man!

Great Professor! Makes class fun and is very helpful. He wants everyone to do well and is always willing to help students out anyway he can. Quizzes aren't too bad, but you definetly have to keep up with the readings and do the homework, which actually really helps for the exams

I adore Scott Berube. He's passionate about his subject, helpful, and personable even though his classes are big. Class is not mandatory but GO TO CLASS EVERYDAY, and make sure you are one of the few that he knows the name of, his office hours are always packed because he is awesome, but go-- his company is worth the wait. BEST teacher! Keeps your attention, tells you what you need to know and is very good at explaining the subject. He's naturally good at what he does and makes you want to go to class.Study power points and practice HW (he'll stress that in class) He's VERY likable!! I recommended him to anybody I knew who wanted to take Accounting.

Berube is the best professor I have had not only in the business program at UNH, but in the entire college. He makes sure you understand everything. The only reason I didn't get an A is because I'm lazy. He is always available for extra help and makes everything clear If you're in WSBE don't take accounting with anyone else.

If you don't take him for a teacher, you are missing out. He is my favorite teacher. He uses powerpoints in every class which are very helpful, and they are all posted online. He presents the material perfectly, and although the exams are hard, he prepares you for them very well. Also, he is very helpful if you don't understand anything.

Best teacher for accounting. The lectures with the powerpoints can get a little dry but he makes it as funny as he can. Clear and straightforward. Take his class if you want to actually learn.

The absolute best. He's funny, keeps the class engaged, but most importantly is committed to making sure you do well. For the projects: DO NOT wait until the last minute and if you show him the project before you turn it in, he'll show you where you went wrong and you WILL get an A. Highly recommended

You want Berube for financial accounting! He is really laid back, jokes around a lot and makes class fun. He encourages students to ask questions and always reiterates anything important to make sure everyone understands. He has "pop" quizzes that he announces ahead of time. they are somewhat difficult but they're all multiple choice.

Best professor I've had so far. Financial accounting is pretty boring, but he makes it worth coming to class. Absolutely loved him, taking him for managerial accounting and wouldn't choose anyone else for accounting! Take a class with him for sure, he's awesome.

Hands down best professor ever! He knows how to make boring material exciting, and when I say he doesn't want you to fail I mean it. He will do everything he can to help you succeed. If you study hard and GET YOUR PROJECTS DONE EARLY, you will without a doubt succeed in this class.

Probably the best teacher I've ever had. Whenever something's not clear, he makes it crystal clear. Get the projects done early and he'll show you where you went wrong before the due date. See him during his office hours for exams and chances are you'll get A's.

Berube is the best accounting teacher WSBE has to offer by far. He does a great job at explaining concepts in different ways so that students with different thought processes can understand. Very willing to help students and he makes sure you know he wants you to succeed.

Hands down the best professor I have ever had and will ever have in my college career. I promised myself that even if I passed with a C (which I did) that I would never curse this man...Unbelievably helpful and clear.

I did not actually have Berube as a professor but he taught all of the review sessions. I will say that the hour review sessions he taught for each exam are the absolute reason I passed this class. I definitely wish I had him as my professor because I probably would have had a full letter grade higher.

After barley passing last semester in 502 I switched to Berube. Definitely worth it. This guy makes everything clear and wants everyone to do well. A good professor can really make a difference in a very difficult class.

Awesome professor. Teaches based on power points but is very clear. Engages your attention the whole class. Quizzes are tough but they're the same for all ADMN 502 & 503 students. Book is helpful to read because it goes in depth of what is discussed in class. Wish I could take more accounting classes with him.

Best GB 112 professor at Bentley! He taught at UNH but im glad we have him here now. None of these other professors have anything on Berube. Berube truly is the man!

Prof. Berube is an excellent professor and is very energetic in class, even at 8am! All of the information is posted online, but it is helpful to go to class. Quizzes and exams are hard, but doable. Homework online is an easy 100. He is very knowledgable about accounting with real-world experience. I would recommend him.

Accounting is generally a difficult subject unless you're naturally gifted or enjoy it. I am neither but Berube is a great instructor and is really helpful. He does all that he can to help his class do well on quizzes and exams and to make sure that people stay engaged and are actually learning during lecture.

Berube is a fantastic professor. The class itself can be difficult but I have never had a professor that can keep your attention and is more realistic than Berube. Also, he is always willing to help.

Amazing professor! Makes class funny and interesting but the corse is hard! Homework every week and a quiz every week. Three exams that are extremely difficult. If you put a lot of time into this corse you will do fine but make sure you are going to commit. Classes are a must.

Berube's the best., take him over Knowles. Extremely clear way of explaining everything and he always encourages questions. BerubeBucks give you extra credit which is awesome. He made special arrangements so I could take my exams at a time that worked with my schedule. Overall a great, helpful guy for accounting that really knows his stuff.

By far funniest teacher I have been with. He's classes are very fun, believe me, I have a night bomb (2hrs 30mins class time). If you don't slack or miss any classes you will do just fine in his class. The home work is not mandatory, you only have to hand in 3 and the tests are reasonable easy. Overall, if you don't want boring lectures, TAKE HIM.

Berube was my favorite professor so far at UNH. Accounting is a hard class but he really makes it as interesting and doable as he can. He wants you to do well and gives you many chances to do so. Your grade definitely isnt handed to you though you need to work hard for it.

He keeps class interesting and has a great sense of humor. Speak up in class and you'll get extra credit. Accounting is very tough but he does an awesome job explaining things clearly and hammering information to help you remember.

One of the best professors I have ever had. Professor Berube is very hard working and really wants all his students to succeed. He posts lots of practice quizzes and exams so that you can practice material along with videos that go through every problem so you can really understand. You will not be disappointed if you take this professor.

Take Berube over Knowles for both Financial and Managerial Accounting. Berube gives you great notes and practice on material that will be on the quizzes and exams, opposed to Knowles who gives bad notes and a ton of examples. Go to class and take notes and do the practice exams and you will do fine.(don't need either textbook at all)

Berube is the best. I was awful at accounting, but tried really hard to understand it and without him, I definitely would have failed both accounting classes. Always willing to help you, takes so much time out of his personal life to make sure we have what we need. Great at explaining stuff, just take him for everything you can ok? READ BOOK

Berube is unreal... He makes you work for the grade but if you study everything he legit gives you, you will get an easy A. He makes the class wicked funny, so going to his lectures wont bore you. He gives Poll Everywheres for participation and hands out Berube Bucks if you raise your hand, which will eventually turn into a possible 5 points

Scott Berube is arguably the best professor in the business school. He makes lectures fun, and is very helpful if you don't understand the material. A tad heavy on the homework, but it does help to understand the material. Great guy all around, and very understanding if you have to miss class. 10/10 would recommend.

If you can have a prof named Scott in PAUL, take him. All the Scotts in Paul are amazing. Never seen a professor put so much effort into lectures. His way with words makes him the best lecturer I've ever had. His classes always score significantly better than the other accounting profs classes and we all take the same exam. Hilarious and fantastic!

Berube is one of the most enthusiastic and funny teachers I have ever had, it just so happens he teaches one of the hardest courses in the Business School (Financial and Managerial Accounting). While there is a lot of material and it the content itself is boring, he makes it a lot more bearable with his in-lecture jokes and enthusiasm.

Professor Berube is hands down, one of the best professors I have had here at UNH. He is humorous, keeps you engaged, and really drills down all the concepts of accounting you need to succeed. (Fall 2020)Berube was amazing, he would tell you exactly what you would need to know and do. As long as you have a set schedule of getting the work done every week, you should do fine. Showing up to class is crucial to understand the topics and being able to ask him questions. There was a participation component, but was tracked online.

Berube is hands down one of the best professors at Paul College. If you don't like him, it's probably because you're not putting in the work. He's honestly a really funny guy and he knows the things he teaches are tough and hard.

Berube was a fantastic professor for a tough subjects. He not only knew the subject well but taught it in a very understandable way for many & incorporated humor often in a boring subject. Don't understand the hate for Berube on this recently. He's a great person and teacher! Don't get me wrong, this class is one of the hardest in Paul, so it's not easy whatsoever. He tries his best to make it "fun". Compared to the other accounting teachers, this is the guy you want. I think people gave him a poor rating because they didn't do well

Berube has very strict policies against cheating and phone use, but are extremely easy to avoid. He is an amazing teacher that truly cares how his students preform. He stresses a lot that if you do the work you will do well and that is 100% true. If you listen and participate, do the homework w/o cheating, and study decent amt, you will do well

Probably the best professor Ive had at UNH. Does his best to make boring accounting concepts entertaining. Gives you plenty of tips to pass the exams and provides more than enough practice problems. If you do the practice problems I guarantee you will pass.

Taking him now again for a different accounting class and I would 1000x over for this subject. If people shit on him its because they didnt use the 100 resources he gives out.

The exams are difficult, but studying and going to office hours make it really easy. Attendance is mandatory because it is part of your grade and so is the online textbook.

Extra credit for attending accounting related events. Explains item concisely and logically. No joke almost lose track of time because of how fun lectures are.

I never actually had Prof. Berube, but I used his recorded lecture videos extensively throughout ADMN 502 & 503. Berube's lectures are easy to follow and very informative, and he sprinkles his humor throughout each video. Rewatching at 1.5x speed is a blessing for studying and filling in gaps in understanding. If you ever have the option, TAKE BERUBE!!!! The courseload is pretty mundane and boring, but he makes every lecture entertaining and genuinely wants every student to succeed. I usually lose track of time and lecture barely drags. You HAVE to go to class, but even if it wasn't there is no way you will succeed without it. DO EVERY PRACTICE PROBLEM

Great professor, always managed to make the lectures memorable and fun. Exams and quizzes weigh fairly heavy but Berube is fair by dropping one quiz, and making your lowest exam grade worth less. Overall, I definitely would recommend, but show up to class, engage in the gig, and get the participation grade. Also offers chances for extra credit.

If I had to retake an accounting class, it would be with this professor. He is so kind and gives so much opportunity for extra credit. All you've heard about Berube is true, he's so funny, engaging, and makes a boring subject as interesting as possible. However, the class is REALLY hard w/ exams & quizzes making up 75% of your grade. While the other 25% is free, the exams & quizzes are tough. DO NOT fall behind like I did or you will pay big time. Take this course w/ Berube tho.
