This is an easy A if you're the least bit science minded. Full credit for homework just for turning it in on time. Tests are multiple choice and very easy if you've read the book and done the homework. Only basic algebra needed to pass this course.

He is an alright teacher. He goes too fast in lecture and can sometimes go off topic and gets a little confusing. I did the hmwk and read the book and it was still hard to pass the class. He grades really hard on the quizzes but not hard on the hmwk. I definitely need to retake this class with another professor!

This class is tough! His quizzes are 10 questions but you have to write the answers out. The quizzes are based on lecture but it was still hard for me. His midterm and final are multiple choice but aren't any easier. Do not take this class unless you are a good test taker.

Professor Blair really is an excellent professor when he gets into a particular subject. A lot of content is clear and he makes us learn "how" we know, instead of just assuming something is correct. And if you ask him after class he is pretty good at breaking down any question you might have about the subject.

If you want to learn, take his class! I got an A, and only tolerated this subject because he was so passionate about it. I ended up liking it way more than I thought I would.

This class was definitely harder than I thought it was going to be! You learn the basic principles of physics and a few scientific formulas. The best advice I can give you is to pay close attention to lectures and take good notes. All his tests are based on his lectures.

I learned so much about physics, this was a great class. Yes it is a bit hard but of you read the mandatory text, do all the homework and study, it is not too bad. Great lecturer, keeps you attention for the whole time period, but material gets confusing at times

Great enthusastic person. He is one of the best teachers I have had. He makes physics even more interesting. He teaches you about life and all those childhood mysterious. We grow up and we never really ask why things are the way they are and why things work in the patterns they do, but in this class you learn how to ask those questions.

I took this class during the summer session and felt that it moved way too fast. We covered up to 2 chapters in one day. His teaching style made it difficult for me to learn the material so I relied heavily on the textbook. He would then get angry because we would go based off what the book said. The only thing that helped was that he did examples.

I took his intro to physics class in the summer and he's such a great professor. It was a morning class but I looked forward to it because he's hilarious. He's very thorough when it comes to notes and tells you when something is important. He also takes time to go over homework in class so be wise and ask questions, it helps a lot. Would recommend.

Blair is really one of those people that will make you THINK about any situation. He really goes by how the Universe acts the way it does. You don't want to miss a class. Fun class. DON'T fall behind! The class is Conceptual physics so be ready to apply some common sense. Explain how you know. Exams are based on explaining yourself thoroughly.

Prof Blair is an outstanding teacher and great lecturer. I liked his teaching style and it worked well for me. You will work very hard in this class and you need to know your stuff--he randomly calls on students w/ questions. I also took him for Intro-Astronomy and Intro-Stars and he was excellent for those classes too. Mandatory attendance.

absolutely awesome! gives really good examples & diagrams in his lecture, makes it really interesting. he'll meet with you outside of class to help and is super funny too. he can be rude sometimes, if someone does something he doesnt like. Be prepared to work for a good grade and wrap your head around some hard concepts to be able to finish the HW

Never have I ever been so dulled by a professor. The only thing worse than his agonizing lectures was his arrogance. Asked a question and was made to look stupid for it. I strongly suggest literally another other professor for this course. Looking to skip a day? The man never canceled class once. I wish someone would have warned me about his class.

He's funny and has very clear, understandable lectures. *Don't skip lecture* He will drop you. Be present and take notes, you'll easily pass. He writes all the notes *in test specific phrasing* across several boards, so you have a long time to write whatever he does. Also, he draws diagrams to help explain and keep content clear. He's helpful too!

Professor Blair is not everyone's cup of tea, his manner is more akin to a shop teacher than one might expect from a science teacher. Solid instructor, very approachable and he was able to accommodate a medical emergency I had during the semester. He keeps what can be a fairly dry subject at times fun and interesting. Highly recommended!

Bring your brain and thicker skin when walking into his class. He believes in having you learn through fear. Is not afraid to hurt your feelings or have the class focus its attention on you. He's passionate, but his lects could use more space images. He will try to have you pass if you reach out and does offer extra credit but also has pop quizzes.
