This guy is horrible teacher, mean, demeaning, and has no social tact whatsoever. He goes off on quasi-political rants and should reconsider what the role of a teacher (I blush at calling him professor - he is no Ph.D) is for a college science classroom.

this class was THE WORST.he is an easy A, lets you use notes on your test but if you are looking to learn something dont take this class.for what we pay he should buy some new cloths and a hair cut.This so called Prof.went off on rants on everything besides the solar system,including how dumb some of the students in my class where.worst class ever!

Both he & some students were rude at times. Book was useless-used his online notes & read his pwrpts & took lots of notes during his test reviews, was there for every video quiz, did the in-class assignments, & got an 'A'. He's a science-dude, whaddya expect? I recommend however, taking the 6 or 8wk version of the class for sure tho.

Disrectful and rude are an understatement, untimely disorganized wasteful of class time. When a deaf student asks to have CLOSED CAPTIONS turned on LEARN HOW TO DO IT! Class does not run over 20 min due to your being unorganized and late.Unprofessional worst INSTRUCTOR I have ever had. Don't give tests while showing films give assignments.FAILURE!

this teacher sucks, his texts are hard , and you will never get physics by taking him

Hands down the worst teacher I've had in my entire education career. Does not teach. Only does example problems, but does them wrong everytime. He is rude and downright unintelligent. He loses assignments and even makes calculation errors on the exams. He talks the whole time you're testing. If you want to not contemplate ending it all. Don't take.

I highly recommend taking any other professor besides him. He's extremely rude. It takes him 2 hours to do 1 example and usually gets the wrong answer. You cant ask him a question after class and if you ask during class he will try to humiliate you. I have no idea how he ever became a teacher or why he is still allowed to teach.

The Worst!! does not know how to teach and it takes him one hour to do one problem. you will NEVER leave early even if you are done. the problem he works on the boared most of the time he does them wrong.

If you're the type that needs a good teacher to learn the subject, do NOT take physics with this professor. He doesn't know the subject very well and will constantly get example problems wrong. He pretty much rambles all class. Asides from that, he grades pretty standard compared to other math classes so if you can learn it yourself, good luck!

Tried taking physics over the summer with this professor and quickly realized I couldn't with him as professor. He actually confused me more than he helped me. I actually learned more from a guy in the class with me but I eventually gave up and dropped. Joke that he is allowed to teach

If you take him, be prepared to teach yourself. He teaches off of old powerpoints that he dislikes and with animations that take him forever to pull up. If the class is four hours long including lab, he will use all the time up. He will never let you go early. If you have to leave early then you lose credit for lab. He is rude to everyone.

This class has a different type of challenge which is how to make friends, and more particularly specific friends who have all the assignments and the exams already. Believe me, you won't get an A in this class without their help because you will be tested on something you should be taught which doesn't happen in this class. GOOD Luck!

Do not take this professor. He is by far the worst youll have. He never comes prepared, he is usually late. He leaves class at least twice a class. Does not know how to teach.

He wasn't specific, and considering this is an introductory course, he did not explain any beginning vocab words or anything to give an idea what the course was actually about. Asked several questions and the answer was "it's in the syllabus" and that was not the case. Do not take.

Worst professor at Macomb by far. He shows up late to his own class every day and will keep you after class is over. He never knows how to do labs. Every class he goes over problems on the board but he never solve them so you waste the whole class trying to find his mistake. Do not take his class

On time? This professor doesn't know the meaning of that. Never heard that, never felt that. We'll be waiting for 10 minutes, and when he finally shows up we'll have to wait another 20 for him to get organized. Often talks to students like they're dumb when they ask questions. The powerpoints help on the tests; but his lectures do not. HEADACHES!!!

From three years at macomb, clearly the worst professor by far. Never truely teaches a single thing besides slides that were shown on about 2 days out of the whole semester. Besides Labs that count for a grade there is no point in showing up for the class, professor arrives late every class and does book problems for 1-2 hours (for each question).

Awful. I thought I was being pranked the entire time. Never have I ever had a professor as unprofessional as he was. Prof. Boman never comes on time, is unorganized, and is very condescending. He'll spend an hour on a question no one asked for, is always vague about the exams. Buy the solutions manual, take notes on the powerpoint, you'll be solid.

Very unprofessional, take-home quizzes and open-note exams were the only reason why I passed. Doesn't explain certain equations correctly and always makes way too many mistakes, not on purpose either. Spends way too much time on problems, and has trouble with them, even if it is an intro class. Even though you can pass, you won't learn anything.

For starters, this dude is jerk. His grammar is atrocious (unaware of the difference between "your" and "you're") and his understanding of canvas is nil. He is condescending in his responses, acting like its the students fault that he doesn't know what hes doing. Also still uses flash player??? No idea how this guy is on payroll still. AVOID

Do NOT take this guy as your Physics professor. Does not teach the class. Extremely unhelpful during online Labs. Cannot understand basic questions asked to him. Weekly discussion directions are super confusing. Lots of homework. If you have to take him, be prepared to teach yourself the entire course.

He doesn't know what he is doing and seems to be learning with us instead of teaching us. Never helps you with anything just repeats your question and looks at you as if you were stupid. Don't take this class unless you're okay with teaching yourself and not learning anything. You are on your own when he is your professor.

I took this class because I thought it would be fun and I regret my choice. The professor is constantly late, gets angry when you ask questions, disagrees with you if you got the correct answer but did not use his way to solve the problem, heavy lecture, explains too much on things you don't know, and uses the same letter for different variables.

Physics is not easy, and this professor makes it even more difficult. He is extremely unorganized, confuses himself while doing examples often, and is often very rude. If you ask a question, he will belittle you and sometimes not even answer it. Lectures are nearly unbearable. Only silver lining is that he offers lots of extra credit opportunities

High amount of extra credit and curves each exam extremely heavily, so if you only care about an A it is not that difficult. On the other hand, he is likely the worst physics professor one could have if they want to actually learn physics. Felt as though I would have learned physics better in an online class with 0 teacher interaction.

Horrible. The simplest of labs are made as difficult as possible because this guy is horrible at explaining things and treats everybody like a nuisance. You better be ready to teach yourself literally every single thing in this class if you have this guy as your teacher.

This guy is a complete joke, I don't know what goes on inside his head in the class. I love the part where he goes through one single problem taking 30 minutes and does not explain anything. Worst of the worst professors, even cheap websites explain better than what goes on in the class. Feels like 3 hours of torture!

Tbh with y'all, it's only been a couple weeks with this professor and I already am not fond of him. I am scared for upcoming exams and such he seems to not know what he's doing.

Strict and aggressive for no reason

This teacher is not good. His 3 hour class feels like 10 years. He takes 30 minutes to explain 1 questions only to have the same student correct him every class. He is very boring and does not like questions asked. This 70 year old kid looks like he did drugs for 10 years of his life.

Unfortunately the worst professor I've ever had. Doesn't teach material properly and confuses the whole class because of his lack of knowledge.

BEWARE!!! WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!! DO NOT TAKE!!! Slow on grading any assignments or tests/quizzes. Loses assignments you know have been turned in and refuses to try and rectify the situation. Very vague when answering questions. Lectures are unproductive and meaningless. He arrives late and then wastes time getting his things organized.

Easy to pass but I learned absolutely nothing at all. He rambles on for all three hours but doesnt make any points. Horrible teacher AVOID IF U ACTUALLY NEED TO KNOW PHYSICS.

I highly recommend NOT taking a class with this professor. He doesn't know how to teach, so prepare to teach yourself everything in this class. He doesn't explain things, but expects you to know how to do it and understand. Both myself and others in the class were highly confused about what he was saying and the assignments given. Worst experience.

If you need a good understanding of physics, this is not the teacher to give you that. Made multiple mistakes a day including on exams that I had to correct for him. Rambles on a random physics problem with little to no explanation. Easy to pass though

To start off, why was I arriving to class on time or even two minutes late, and i was STILL there before him. one time when i walked in i passed by his car and saw him eating mcdonald's in his car on his phone when class started in 2 minutes. could not ask questions without making it seem like i was bothering him, passive aggressive, very horrible.

Too many quizzes and too long of a lecture. It takes longer than his class time.He also deducted a point from my homework because it's late XD He doesn't have a review for quizzes. Worst teacher I've had ever. And i have a bachelor's from a foreign country and an associate's here in America. By far this guy is the worst. Take at your own risk!

Very confusing class. Professor doesn't like to answer questions because "you should know this stuff" and is very passive aggressive. Everyone in class was confused the entire time. I have As in all my other classes, and decided to just give up on this one and fail it because failing and making it up with a different teacher would be better.

Horrible and hard to communicate with

Overall just a TERRIBLE professor. SUPER passive aggressive, acts like your just a burden for asking questions…doesn't even answer the question you have 99% of the time. His lectures are much too long to retain anything, on top of him going off tangents multiple times during lecture and it's like he's contradicting himself. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!!!!!

This professor was the most passive-aggressive teacher I've ever had in my life, and I attend U of M in Ann Arbor. He has no respect for students. He belittles students for asking simple questions. He always shows up late to class and takes 50 minutes to answer one practice problem. I would recommend never taking a class with him.

pls do not take this man's class. he shows up late to almost every class, picks up his phone during lecture and rolls his eyes when asked questions. absolutely unbearable lectures. posts quizzes at 3am and makes them due 10am that day. only way i passed is through youtube videos. zero feedback on exams or quizzes. book is not very helpful.
