he's great!
One of the worst professors I've had at UTA. He lectured straight out of the book and bored everyone on a subject that should be interesting (Human Sexuality)! I was definately looking forward to this class, but was extremely disappointed by his style. I emailed him several times, but never got a response. Never in his office during office hours.
The class itself was fairly interesting, but Dr. Coleman is a bore. Study the slides and read over the chapters and you're fine. Attendance is not needed
He is very EASY!!! A little slow and boring but otherwise an easy way to get an A!....This semester he usually made the tests from the slides but idk if he is going to continue tht...He also does a 'reality check' at the end of each chapter from which he included some questions on the test..the final is optional...So take him to get an A!!! :)
I took Human Sexuality with Dr. Coleman and the only complaint that I have is the length of time he takes to post grades on webct. He usually takes about 5 days to post test grades. This class is pretty easy, though. Just memorize the notes and review for a B. Also read the book and attend lectures for an A.
Dr. Coleman is superrr boring! His class is such a drag.i ended up skipping class and sleeping on many occasions and missed nothing. Easy if you read and use the accompanied website that goes w/ the textbook.
horrible teacher. he just reads directly off his power point. as a teacher he's not help at all! you need to read the book to pass the class
Prior to taking this class, Human Sexuality was a very interesting topic for me. However, this teacher ABSOLUTELY ruined that for me! He is VERY boring and creeped me out a little when he talked about certain sexual issues... He would laugh at something as if he were a little boy! NOT A GOOD TEACHER!!!
I actually think the HUman Sexuality class is pretty interesting.. of course it's awkward to talk about these things in a class of people but he makes it funny and comfortable to ask questions. Attendance isn't mandatory but in order to do good you should show up most of the time!
This Professor could possibly be very interesting with his Falcons and such if it weren't for the fact that he speaks in near perfect monotone. The tests are ridiculous, coming from someone who's taken multiple psychology classes with a strong interest in the field, they're near impossible to make high grades on even with intensive studying.
Okay, nice man but his lectures are boring! I hardly attended class and made an A on both tests. I just studied his notes mostly and read the book a little to help elaborate some main points. Just took final which was easy as well. So, take him if you can teach yourself because then its an easy A. He is very nice and responds to emails.
I enjoyed his class and he is funny and makes the subject comfortable to talk about. You do need to read the book, study his powerpoints and taking the online book quizzes help alot. The class is not difficult, just read the chapters and attending the class can be helpful. I will leave the class with an A. I highly reccomend
He's one of the worst professors I've ever had. Don't get me wrong... he tries, and he took over for an amazing professor who passed away during the semester, but he was terrible. The TA would even shake her head at him when he tried to explain concepts in class. He talked in circles and if you asked a question, you'd leave even more confused.
good enough professor. I probably wouldn't take him again, just because pretty much all he did was read off of the ppts. I could've stayed home and taught myself. he puts things from the txtbk in the tests that we never went over in class, so you MUST read the book. tests are about 65 q's each, and pretty straight forward
You must study the book to pass his class...The test are NOT easy...
Must study the book to pass the test...there not easy...
well this class isn't easy to pass if you just read off the slides. i had to read every chapters and connected them with the slides in order to do ok on the test. however it's worth it at the ends. tests questions come from ppt slides and book.. got an A in the class. another thing is that i rarely attend class and still manage an A, so can you.
He was horrid, did not know how to teach, major disorganization, and I do not thing this class prepared me for the real world which sucks cuz its a valuble information
This class is easy if you read the book a little. Make sure you go to the test review; what he goes over is exactly what is on the test! He lets you drop the final too, if you do well enough on the other tests.
Attendance is not mandatory. I attended class once a week and still managed a "C". This professor was funny n boring at the same time. There is three test total including final. All you need for the class is the required book and a clicker. He gaves attendance points at end to try to boost grades.
Coleman, Research & Stats. Easy A. Lecture is from his notes/book, very easy. Lec tests are multiple choice. Lab is busy work, not as easy. Lab tests are short & simple. Keep up w/ readings and weekly stuff & homework and get your A.
I was expecting Research Design and Statistics to be a very hard class and between Mr.Coleman and the lab TA it was a great class! I would recommend this prof to everyone!
Look, the class is easy. The test is on blackboard, you can use your notes and textbook. The problem is this guy is the most boring, inarticulate man I've crossed in a while. Maybe it has something to do with it being an 8 AM class, but he loses his train of thought, mumbles, then sort of shouts what he remembers he was going to say.
easy class, not an easy A. book isn't necessary, the powerpoints cover most material in the exams. tests are online so open book test if you have it. I'm managing a B and not trying to hard. he's funny and boring [like someone else said]
It's a very easy class as long as you go over the PowerPoints and read the chapters. Easy A!
All the tests are on-line including the Final. Random "iClicker" days for his attendance (usually on the day you start a chapter) Posts his powerpoints and literally reads word for word.. Google is you and your tests best friends!!(:
Pretty cool guy, took him for animal behavior. Definitely knows the material. Cons- 5 tests, needlessly 50 questions long. No curves. Doesn't drop a test. Has his own little 'attitude' about they way all of that should work, which jut makes it harder on the students. Yet he gives you extra credit, a general university no no.
He was pretty boring. I started to skip class, but still go occasionally because he took attendance about 13 of the time. I went to maybe 50% of the lectures, and still had a 100 for participation (10% of grade). He said he was planning on changing that to be extra credit instead though. You can easily Google the answers for tests, they're online.
Showing up to class and simply participating in surveyclicker questions is counted as extra credit. He is a great lecturer and provides you with nearly everything you need to know for the ONLINE exams. Easy class! The book is helpful and provides real examples, but is not necessary to do well in the class
This course was overall easy and straightforward. His lectures were very enjoyable, he really knows the material and there is a lot to learn from this man about life in general. Learned something about falcons too.
Nice guy, and clear about what he expects. Lectures can be a bit dull at times, but also interesting. He has a quirky sense of humor, and I find him cute in his own goofy way. Tests aren't too tough, just read the book, take notes, and know how to apply the details to the big picture.
Everything is done online. Lectures aren't exactly helpful but are interesting sometimes. Gives out lots of extra credit points during lectures through an i clicker. The online tests are actually somewhat difficult, you're only allowed to work one once question at a time and after you submit an answer you won't be able to go back to it or change it
His lectures are boring and the class is disorganized. He takes too long for grading. The test is average. Overall ok but it's better if you got another professor...
Great professor, very funny and interesting. Exams are easy and power point are useful.
Apparently this is his first year teaching this course so he does not have online tests like his other psychology classes. His test for this class consists of multiple choice, true/false and matching. I do not like the way he teaches and there is no study guide for his tests which I strongly do not like in professors.
Dr. Coleman is goofy and will say just about anything during lecture, including the regular spill about his personal life. His lectures were interesting but confusing at times. He will clear things up if you ask him. Smart guy, knows his stuff. But VERY disorganized and slides are a mess. READ THE BOOK! Attendance is extra credit.
All 3 tests are online even final exam. He gives almost 50 extra points on those 4 exams. It was so easy A class to me though.
Scott posts the notes and powerpoints online, so there is no need to buy the textbook. And since the notes are online, showing up to class is not needed some of the time either. He is monotone, so lectures might become boring 10 mins in. Does offer extra credit during class. Homework and tests (including the final) is online.
He's a funny guy, makes the class somewhat entertaining. He posts powerpoints online, but they can be unorganized. His tests have multiple choice, true/false, and matching. There's no study guides so you have to read & refer to the powerpoints to study. He does give extra credit by taking attendance randomly 12 times (3 times for each exam)
There are 4 exams (all equally weighted) each over 3 chapters. They consist of 25 multiple choice, 10 T/F, & 15 matching (split up in groups of 5). He gives 20 extra credit points if you go to class (he takes attendance 12 times throughout the semester). Most of the exam comes from his PP's, but reading & attending lecture is helpful. Great prof!
Dr. Coleman is one of my favorite professors I've ever taken! 3 tests and a final (which is just the last chapters, so not really a final). I never read the book. No homework/quizzes. Takes attendance randomly and if you are there for 9 attendance days you get an extra 5% to your grade. Cares about the students, there to help, very approachable
This is a great class but don't expect it to be a blowoff class. Dr. Coleman is very passionate about his work so don't disrespect him by not showing up to class or asking him a question that is clearly answered in the syllabus. If you're interested in animal behavior take him, you won't be disappointed.
Coleman is a great guy & you can tell he is really passionate about teaching. He goes over the powerpoint in class and attendance is not mandatory so I barely went. Although he does have some extra credit opportunities that you can only get in class hours. All homework is online and it was a very easy class as long as you do your work you will pass
this class was an easy A, as long as you show up he does random clicker questions for extra credit. He also let you take a 10 question quiz for extra credit and you got 2 tries. All test online although very hard to look up answers bc short time limit. Theres homework but i would just do them in class while he lectures, no need to pay attention
4 Online tests including final. Gives extra credit from I-clicker. There are hw given but u can actually do all of them in a day. I making a clear point here. If you don't get A in his class, plz re-consider if you are truly suitable to college. Take him
I loved this professor. I took him for a super easy class where all tests and hw are online and attendance is only extra credit. I went to his lectures anyways just because I enjoyed it. I found them interesting most of the time and he was really goofy and sweet. He's a great lecturer. Take him for a easy class!
I loved Dr. Coleman's class! His lectures are enjoyable and one class between each exam will be a video day and you must be there to watch it because it will be on the exam. Exams aren't too hard if you read the book & chapters (know the researchers in the book & lectures)! Attendance is extra credit! An easy & fun class!
He's a nice and funny professor. Does iclicker for extra pts. He didn't review for his 3 online exams which sucked. Print the notes out so you can have them during his locked tests. 50% of final is review he gives. I didn't make A's on all exams and still got an A for the course. Do the online hw as well and do the 6hr credit thing quickly.
Dr. Coleman changed his entire syllabus this semester! No i-clicker anymore! No more online tests! Mostly the reason why I signed with this professor in the first place. However, he tells you EXACTLY what's on the test, give 20 bonus points for attendance! Learn smart is crucial cause he takes questions from that VERBATIM! Not a good lecturer.....
Dr. Coleman is super cool, this class was fun and very informative. Make flashcards from the ppts to study for exams and read the end of chapter interviews, he likes to test on those. There are also a couple of extra credit opportunities too. Know scientists/researchers and their experiments for the exams too!
Great guy, but if you do not have a photographic memory, you probably wont make an A in the class. Tests are pretty hard. I went to every class and wrote notes along with making note cards for the test and I made C's and B's on the tests. Four online chapter homework's due before each test and each homework has between 50-150 questions on them.
The review before me is very accurate. Took this class expecting and easy A. Tests are no longer online. Definitely have to work for an A on a test. I put in minimal effort and pulled off a B. Just be prepared to study for tests because they are lecture heavy and cover a lot of material. Basically nothing on tests come for LearnSmart.
All you have to do to make an A is read the book and take good notes. He is really nice and I've taken him for several psychs. If you miss one exam for any reason you can retake it. 5 points on final grade if you go to class, but going is not mandatory for an A as long as you study. Textbook is easy to read imo, only 3 chapters per test and final
Really liked this teacher. His class was interesting and the tests were not hard. I put in the bare minimum required and got a B. Definitely helps to read the textbook when studying for the exams. He offers two extra credit assignments over the semester. I would take him again.
This class was one of the easiest classes ever. I did not get A's on most of my exams, but I ended up with an A+ in the class. Workload is very light and attendance counts as extra credit, 5% towards your final.
This dude is awful. His test are so hard, you have to pay attention to the most pointless information. He only talks about his stupid falcon club. His tangents confuse me (and I normally like tangents). Avoid
This was NOT an easy class. I got an A barely, but put in more hours studying for his tests then all of my other classes combined. The only grades are 5 tests, and 2 extra credit opportunities. Study all his PowerPoints, notes and book. He tests on random little details. Know animal, researcher, and field. He wants you to take his class seriously.
To be honest, he's a terrible lecturer. He's hilarious and his the material he teaches is interesting, but it feels like what you learned in class is not even RELATED to tested material. I tried studying slides, taking good notes, and even studying the online book material and still did poorly on all of the test. He gives a lot of extra credit tho.
Three exams with a final, not comprehensive. The tests consists really of the book so thats what I did to get a good grades on exams and i would look at his powerpoints bc he said whatever overlapped would be on test. Has about 20 multiple choice, 15 matching, and 15 true or false questions. No homework no quizzes. He's nice and funny.
You don't have to attend class, but he gave extra credit for being there on random days that he decided to take attendance. He had a tendency to go off on tangents during lecture so we didn't get through the powerpoints for the chapters on a couple of tests. So you really had to read the book thoroughly to ace without extra credit.
This professor was kinda awkward. He is pretty boring but gives extra credit for attendance. Course grade is strictly exams.
Stay away.... Lectures are random and very boring! Get ready to learn all this stuff on your own. Test seem to be based on slides only. He said the study guides are his slides. No curves on exams whatsoever! Very few extra credit opportunities. Just stay away...
He was okay. Lectures got boring. And the learnsmart assignments took forever
Amazing professor and expects a lot from you which is understandable. People complaining its hard want the exam handed to them in a review. It's a growing culture to go through the semester and be proud they got an A without buying the book.
This is not a very good professor. My entire class did rather poorly and he will NOT curve. He expects you to practically memorize everything. He grades on extremely specific details and the assignments take hours and hours. I got D's and C's on all my tests even after hours of study. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.
I'm a psychology major and Dr. Coleman was not a great first impression to the study of psychology. While I did find the class to be an easy A, I would often catch myself drifting asleep at lectures as he often gets off track. If you don't like animal behavioral psychology BEWARE- he got his Ph.D. in it and often ties the subject into his lectures!
Worked for my A, thought it was going to be an easy A. Test questions come from the lectures. Final is 80 questions cumulative. Lots of homework questions online, not hard just time consuming. Extra credit for showing up to class! Don't sign-in and leave it really upsets him! TA is helpful just email her and she responds in a timely manner.
Only 5 test grades during the semester and drops none. Some extra credit for attendance. It is a structured class. Lectures, one documentary and then the test. You can probably pass the class not going to class because all lectures are online. Tests are okay. You definitely have to study and don't think this is an easy class. He is a great person.
Overall he is not a bad professor, but he isn't amazing either. He seems like a pretty nice guy but I would not particularly choose to take him again. He does add 5 full points onto your final grade if you show up for 7 out of the 10 times he takes attendance.
Dr. Coleman is an average professor, lectures arent too bad though some days it seems like it drags. Something that got to me was the fact that his slides have a million words in them, its really hard to concentrate on what exactly he's talking about when so much information is conveyed on a single slide. other than that he drops lowest test score
First off, he canceled class the first two weeks of school and missed a few days throughout the semester to go to Japan and go bird watching. Otherwise, he makes it almost impossible to fail. There's extra credit and he drops the lowest grade of 4 tests. The class may be death by powerpoint but teaches straight out of the textbook, so just read.
This year he canceled a lot of classes. Attendance is extra credit for 5% points on the final grade or 20 points, drops one of the exams. The class may be death by powerpoint but teaches straight out of the textbook, so just read. Honestly, you dont have to pay attention in class to do well, most of the students watch movies in his class.
Do the homework that's connected to the textbook, study the PowerPoints, & attend class to get an easy A. The hw questions really help to prepare for tests. Takes attendance "randomly" and if you show up 7/10 times he does them, you get extra credit. He reads the info on the slide then goes in depth with it. Good teacher but challenging class.
I had Dr. Coleman for Intro to Psychology. All of the material is either in the PowerPoints or in the online book. He gives extra credit for showing up on random days he decides to take attendance. The tests are easy as long as you read and do the homework. He does lecture pretty slow, but is an interesting professor and researches animal behavior.
I had mixed feelings about him at first, but at the end of the day I got 10 extra points added on to my grade and i made over a 100. He is a little odd but he is a nice guy. Homework is worth 25% of your grade and you are administered 4 tests throughout the semester. He takes the grades off your highest three tests and they are each worth 25%
Most of the class is lectures and if you pay attention and study the powerpoints he provides, you'll be set when it comes to the test. Most of the class is reading the textbook and lectures. You do those things, the class is easy A.
Very monotone voice. Puts you to sleep. Homework is online and due the night before the exam. Homework is time consuming but not hard. There are 4 exams including the final. Lowest test grade gets dropped. Exams are 50 questions. He is very awkward and gets pretty offended if you leave in the middle of class.
His voice is very monotone so it could be hard to pay attention sometimes. Attendance is not mandatory but he gives extra credit if you show up on days he does a sign in sheet. No homework, 5 tests total but they are only over 2-3 chapters each. His power points basically outline the chapters in the book so it is not needed.
Although he was pretty fair in his expectations, his lectures were not interesting and he showed some videos that were inappropriate. He did, however, offer extra credit and was pretty nice. Not a fan of students leaving class early. He will call you out in front of everyone.
If you like to learn absolutely nothing except memorizing 60+ questions on a study guide and answering them exactly ( 10 questions) and that is all your grade is worth, he's your man. If you actually want to learn and expand your knowledge, he's not your man. Pointless and frustrating class.
Wow, where to begin.... Gives 80 question study guide each week and he picks 10 questions for a weekly quiz. If you don't answer each question word word you get it wrong. DO NOT AK HIM WHAT YOU MISSED OR EXPLAIN WHY YOU THINK ITS RIGHT BECAUSE THEN HE WILL JUST TELL YOU THAT HE WILL GRADE IT EVEN HARDER AND YOU WILL GET EVEN MORE WRONG. TERRIBLE!!
Worst professor I've ever taken. Rude, condescending, doesn't give good feedback and he comes off as if he hates his job. Take another professor and class.
Super rude, not caring, and super inappropriate, always wants to bring up inappropriate topics when it doesn't relate to the lecture. I advise you to take another professor.
Horrible professor! He calls you out in front of everybody. He doesn't care for his students or others students on campus. One day during class a girl was not feeling well, so her friend interrupted his lecture to ask for help, which angered him a lot, and he refused to call 911 even though the girl was in a bad state!
Do homework and read the online notes. Professor won't help you much.
To do great in the class, study the lectures. If you need a more in depth explanation of a study or concept then use the book. I did not use it. Remember studies, people, and theories. I studied the lectures thoroughly. There were 5 total tests. I enjoyed the class, Coleman has a passion for it. He offered a fun extra credit, but you have to WORK.
took him for evolutionary psyc and I enjoyed it. His lectures are straight forward and so are his 5 exams (super easy). If you study his slides, you should be good. This class was interesting; the textbook wasnt boring! You watch a documentary every unit and he took attendance on exam days. Take him if you need an elective.
This is my 4th class with Dr. Coleman for a reason. He's a good professor and quirky enough to keep the course interesting. If you took Animal Behavior before, the exams are very similar. 5 exams noncumulative: 25 multiple choice, 10 T/F, and 3 sets of 5 matching for 50 total questions. Most come from the powerpoints, so focus heavily on those.
I made over a 100 in this class because of the extra credit. Evolutionary Psychology is very straight forward and the material is very doable. Study and you will make A's! Would definitely recommend for and upper-level PSYC course.
I recommend not even look at this professor for this class because there is no email communication and because of the new Covid-19 the communication was very important and I had to ask everyone else because the professor would not answer. The professor also do not update you on most things and will make a random assignment due the very next day.
The reason I got a B+ and not an A was due to finishing a learnsmart late. Had I told him about it he probably would have changed the grade. It is too late now. But a great prof, very funny, and loves class participation. Gives extra attendance points. Goes over his test the day before the exam, drops the lowest one. Learnsmart homework is a lot.
The material was very interesting and he is an amazing professor. The exams are a little bit hard but as long as you turn all of the work in you should pass easily.
Evolutionary Psychology is a really interesting area of study. Prof. Coleman is an interesting lecturer and prepares you pretty well for exams. Extra credit for attendence so show up for goodness sake. There are only 5 exams and that is your whole grade so study well. I would recommend this class!
He is really nice professor and has good lectures. You dont always have to attend class but sometimes he gives extra credit for attending. Assignments are online and longgg. Exams are okay, but if you want to pass you not only have to study the power points but also read the textbook!
you're graded only on 5 (50-question) exams + optional extra credit (zoo field trip & assignment). the exams are tricky; questions were very specific, BUT his exams are over his lecture slides. if you're studying them heavily, you should pass his exams. yes, read the book. pay attention to the 5 documentary videos shown in each module. STUDY!
I've taken Dr. C 3 times. Evolutionary Psych was super interesting to me. Analysis & Mgmt is reading heavy, but easy, & you get to play training games. Animal behavior is hard... lots of reading, but extra credit zoo trip!! He brought a falcon!! He's a little awkward, but I think he may be on the spectrum. Super sweet though. GO TO CLASS!!!!!!!
Random attendance quizzes during lecture! He is nice & responds on Canvas. Syllabus tells you how grading works (you'll need to know this). Lots of homework. Slideshow dependency won't help you pass exams. Take notes from book too! His exam reviews tell you what slides to focus on bc the ppts are wordy. Exam exam review highlights + book context.
I had Professor Coleman for two classes: Stats and Animal Behavior. Professor Coleman makes it clear he does not want to be teaching stats but it is easy to pass. For Animal Behavior, Professor Coleman has insanely high expectations. Furthermore, your grade for Animal Behavior is solely based on 5 exams. If you are a poor test taker, beware
I personally took him for Intro to psych. He was pretty cool. His lectures were interesting, and I will be honest it is one of the only classes I learned in. You have to read the book and slides if you want to pass. He has high expectations that made me have to study. Overall good professor
Professor Coleman is very sweet and it is very obvious that he is extremely passionate about what he is teaching. However, your whole grade is made up of weekly quizzes that don't have much to do with the lecture. If you're good at memorizing/learning the study guides, you will be successful and will make a good grade in the course.
the assignments were super long some of theme had more than 150 questions. you take four exams and only three will count, the exams are book based more than the lecture. we were luck to have a lot of extra credit, but still the class is hard. I dont recommend him
His class is really easy if you take the time to study. Every week, you have a test and that's it. Obviously you have to look for the answers for the study guide but its not difficult and its also multiple choice. Attending class isn't mandatory but it helps you understand stuff more. Simple and easy. Also he drops the two lowest grades.
I love learning about psychology. The professor has the most boring lectures and attendance is not mandatory. However, he does have random attendance quizzes. He has PowerPoint notes and textbook homework (time-consuming) and BOTH material is on the exams. Exams are straightforward its just a lot of material to cover.
Attendance= non mandatory. Extra credit will be given on randomized days you attend class (Virtually or In person). Class Lectures= going over powerpoint slides, & Homework= textbook assignments; long and time consuming (Don't wait until the last minute!). Memorization and studying concepts/definitions is a must to be successful within this class.
Spectacular lecturer. Will answer any of your questions with ease, genuine care for his students. Lectures can be watched online as well, but go in person and take notes, otherwise you will struggle. If you like procrastinating, then once a week online attendance checks Don't procrastinate your smartbook assignments. Do your SONA research credits
He just reads off his lectures and assigns homework of smartbook assignments. Lectures can be watched online. He gives extra credit for attendance. You have to take 6 credits for SONA which are research participation. Three exams in total and weigh a lot for your grade.
Dr. Coleman was a pretty chill guy, and evolutionary psych isn't too bad of a class. 5 tests make up your grade, but there's lots of extra credit discussion boards that can boost you up an entire letter grade if you do them right. Know the researchers he talks about and focus mostly on his power points and you'll be just fine.
ur grade is exams, no curves. extra credit given. lectures are kind of slow but you can tell he knows his stuff and is super passionate, which keeps it engaging. exams are kind of hard; be sure to read the textbook well and use the canvas resources he posts. hes usually easy to reach but he had a medical emergency this semester. hope hes ok now
In this course the grade was just based on exams, there were no other assignments. It was not an easy class for me because there was a lot of information in the power points that he would provide in class. Just be ready to study a lot.
I really liked him, he provided a pdf of the textbook so we didn't have to spend money, Basically your whole grade is composed of exams which you can easily study for with the materials he provides.
He is a fair grader and seemed passionate about what he taught. The quizzes are based on the weekly textbook readings, and he puts the exact questions from the study guide on the exams (with a few lecture questions). I went to some lectures, but the lectures will not really help you on exams, plus they were not engaging.
Pre-recorded lectures were from 2021. Not updated with the slides he provided. Watch the movies, visit the sites he provides and watch every YouTube link posted as there will be questions on every single one of them. Grade is only based on exams. No assignments or quizzes. 3 extra credits offered w/ no effect to grade.Delayed responses to emails.
Evolutionary Psych with Prof. Coleman is pretty manageable. Tons of extra credit helps boost your grade, just focus on the slides and key researchers. I also found unstuck study useful for better understanding the material.
Dr. Coleman has been the best professor I've had at UTA thus far. He actually lectures rather than reads straight from the PowerPoint presentation, as many professors at UTA tend to do. He is helpful in clueing us in on what will be on the exams, so the exams aren't too difficult. He also offers extra credit discussion boards regularly!
