he is a great teacher! in the beginning i thought philosophy was going to be boring but he made it really interesting, he gives great examples for you to understand the material so if you dont plan to read the book, attendance is mandatory cause he covers everything in class. TAKE HIS CLASS! YOU'LL LOVE PHILOSOPHY AFTER!
scott was very clear about the religions in class. he made it very understandable. his exams were just like he said they would be. you have to go to class because he explains the religions better than the book does. very good teacher.
If you have to take philosophy critical thinking I would not suggest taking it a Rio. Professor Dixon is the only one teaching it. I received an exceptional grade in the class. However I found him very unclear in his assignment and at times disturbing.
Scott Dixon is a very good teacher. The assignments were clear and followed the syllabus. I don't know what the other person is talking about. I learned a lot about reasoning but the class is hard. The material makes you think, especially about terrorism and how the government acted. Some might find that disturbing, but Scott is a good guy.
professor scott is really interesting and uses humor to relay his messages at times. just remember to take notes(he's nice enough to even tell you what will be on the test) and show up once in a while. very nice guy, and pretty hot to boot. would take him again.
Scott pretty much tells you what's on tomorrow's quiz, which can only help you. His tests are based on his lecture, and the reading is not absolutely necessary because he goes over it in class before he quizzes you. I'd recommend his class. He's really nice and helpful and doesn't make you feel dumb about your opinions.
Dr. Scott D. Dehart is a great!!Learned alot about different religions. He is open minded. Midterm, final, small writing exercises, and journals due at end of semester! To bad this class is cut and not offering it next semester!! A++++++++++++++++
Scott is a very good professor! Make sure you come to class and take notes. His tests are very easy. He got 3 tests. At the first 2 tests, he hang out the review called pre-test, use the note to answer those. then let him check. When you done, go home and study it and you will get an A. The final is based on the 2 tests and little notes. Take Him
Very good teacher and also very funny. Seems to incorporate his baldness in every joke which is pretty funny.study guides are the exact Test.never any hw and classes run short.rarely it extends the full 3 hrs
He's great as long as you have common sense! The class itself was not bad at all. He is always willing to help if you need it & you get out of class early everyday! Great Teacher, Great Class & you NEVER get hw! ;D
Super easy class and really cool teacher. There was only one book required for the class and it was cheap. The tests are based off the lectures and handouts. We always got out of class early and he makes the material seem wonderfully comprehensible, none of the crazy philosophical say what type of stuff. Take his class!
Scott is a great professor! He doesnt make the topic as complicated as other would. He always lets class out early, staying for class work is optional. Tests are based on lectures and hand outs but if you miss class you might be saved by the book. He's very helpful, I emailed him at all hours of the day and he responded!
Such a great proffessor. Can easily explain very diiicult subjects. He's always there to help. His lecures are really important to the class so it is good to show up regularly. He is not obscure when he tells you what he wants in an assignment and how he wants it. Also very funny and involved with the class.
Scott is a great instructor. He knows his subject, truly recommend anyone to take his class, do attend class to understand the subject you wont pass by just showing up when you want. He is also very helpful! Great Instructor!!
Really cool and easy professor. Never assigns homework, and makes the class very interesting. He also gives study guides that are pretty straightforward and very much like his tests. Overall he's a great teacher I wish all my professors were like him.
Scott has to be one of my favorite instructors this past semester. He does not grade harshly and gives you the benefit of the doubt most of the time. Does not mean you can slack off however, you need to be willing to study for the 23 (easy) question exams and read the 3 (easy) books. The final project is not hard if you read the books. Great guy.
His class is extremely easy if you show up to class and take notes. The notes are later used for the quizzes and their simple because he gives you study guides with all of the info. He's actually kind of funny sometimes, as well.
GREAT teacher! funny, keeps it interesting. Study guides are very helpful in test. class is enjoyable, wish i could take it again!
Scott is an amazing instructor, I took him for 101, 110 and 112. I absolutely love his teaching method and his approach. He is dedicated to what he does and does everything possible so that you can get the best results. If he taught more classes I would take those too.
Awesome instructor. He cares about his students and will go over a concept with you until you understand. I could recommend him more
I took his intro to Philosophy on-line 101 on-line and all tests are from the power point lectures. Super easy to pass this class. Save the lectures on the computer and when the tests open, just pull the lecture out and you pass. Make sure you do read over them because it can be confusing. 20 min tests, 10 quest. Easy class to pass on-line
I learned more about how to write a good argumentative paper in his class than I did in my English course. Go to class, do the work, and you will be better prepared for other classes. He's funny and chill, and will help you when you need it.
This class is awesome and Scott does a wonderful job of explaining all of the concepts. If for some reason you can't grasp a concept, talk to him and he is always more than happy to clarify and talk you through it. All the exams are essay/short answer, they require effort, but questions are given ahead of time. He doesn't take BS!
I've had Scott for three classes, Logic, Critical Thinking and Modern Philosophy. He is organized, funny, caring, and a fair grader. If you don't understand something, go see him in his office. I had a hard time understanding Kant and he spent over 20 minutes explaining Kant to me in a way I could understand. I wish all teachers were like him.
i took 101 ONLINE and it was easy ! a practice test at the beginning and 10 quiz total + final. you have 20 min to complete a quiz and 90 min to complete the final. REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD THE LECTURES AND USE IT ON THE FINAL TOO! BIG TIP: download or save your test results !!!!!!!!!!!!
This Philosophy 101 online class was very easy! Also professor Scott is very helpful if you have any questions about the homework. REMEMBER TO SAVE ALL THE LECTURE SLIDES BECAUSE YOU WILL BE USING THEM AS NOTES FOR THE TESTS!
Scott is an awesome teacher. Very helpful, straightforward, and clear on what he expects. Took an accelerated class of his and passed with an A. Show up to class, do the work and you'll be fine.
EASY A ! But you need to make a little afford.
Dixon is an awesome instructor. He makes certain that you understand, if not he will help you. His knowledge can enable you to be a critical thinker. Answers to quizzes you will have to write out as sentences (no multiple choice or matching). Teaches through powerpoint and verbal board lectures. Read, study, and the class will be easy for you.
Scott is a great teacher. Once you get clued in to his method of teaching and testing, you see he is very fair. The material can be hard but come to class and he explains it all. GO TO CLASS or you will not do well.
The online course was a bit of a challenge even though tests are open notes. While taking the test just have your notes open and search through it quickly. I suggest reading through the notes before taking the test. Text book is not really needed except for the final. Final consists of a 1000-1500 word essay (3-5 pgs) answering a few questions.
Awesome and inspiring teacher! He loves what he does and he is very helpful. He will not leave you out to dry, he will move on only if he knows you understand. Philosophy is deep and profound but Dixon makes it interesting and fun!
Scott doesn't look like a philosophy professor but he knows the subject well and is passionate about it. He is honest, friendly, and funny. He makes a hard class very understandable if you go to it. He tells you what is on the tests before hand and grades fairly. Overall, a great experience.
His class is very easy and no point of using textbook when he show the slides. I highly recommend to copy every notes he post even though he says not to write it down cause majority of those notes will be on the test the answers and questions. I would take his class again. I highly recommend and pay attention to his class
Dixon is the best. I took his class because it was recommended by another professor. If you go to class, take notes, and ask for help when you need it, you will do fine. He taught me more about writing a good paper than my english professors did.
I took Introduction to Philosophy at PCC and failed it. The teacher was horrible. Not only did I do well in Scott's class I learned something and enjoyed it. He always made sure we understood the material. He has three tests and a short paper project. Highly recommend him and will take him again
I took his hybrid logic class. It met once a week and we looked at the lectures before class. You must go to class! He makes it clear and helps you. He held two review sessions outside of class time to help us get ready for tests. Great teacher, helpful, and funny but the class moves fast.
Scott is a great teacher. I personally enjoy his lectures because he incorporated all of his lectures to our real life events. He is always there for any help that you need. Passed the class with an A. He uses a reader instead of a book with exerts from the writings he thinks will be most helpful for the lecture.
Go to class and learn logic. Don't miss a day. He's great and helps you as much as you need it. You do work in class and he is always there to help. The tests are like the classwork. I am now taking his critical thinking class and I like it.
I took Scott for a Tuesday night class. 4 papers, 6 quizzes and inclass work. We studied terrorism for our papers. His assignments were clear and he is always helpful. He teaches you how to think critically by showing how to do it, not just telling you. He might be the most honest professor I have ever had. Great experience. Never miss class!
3 test and 1 small writing project. He gives study guides or a pretest before the exams. Exams come directly from the notes and reading. His lectures relate philosophy to your life. Take notes! His class made me think about my life and reconsider what was important to me. Talk to him after class if you have questions he is very helpful and nice.
Mr. Dixon is a great teacher and he cares about his students. I struggled in the first part of the class. He helped me a lot and I ended up understanding the material. Read his book before class and his lectures are make it all clear.
I took it during summer. The grade was made up of 4 tests, discussion questions, and a final project (essay). I think it would be better to take this course in class with him. That way you can interact with him more easily on any topics. You need the book, it just about 9 bucks, but I did not read a lot. Email him if you nee help.
He is an AWESOME teacher if you show up and do the work. The Class thinned out quickly but those who stayed learned a LOT!! Considering I did the 8 week course it was fast, thorough and very interesting. He knows his stuff and made it great.
I took Dixon's 110 for eight weeks. The class has a lot of work but it all relates to the class. This class changed the way I think about things. Dixon's honesty when asked about anything really made me think even if I didn't agree with him. Great class.
AMAZING.
Helpful, inspiring, and honest. Dixon is great. Be prepared to write and keep up with the work. Don't miss class.
Dixon always did something to make us think, sometimes it was uncomfortable because it made me question my beliefs. I don't know where he gets all this stuff, but he knows it well. I left the class understanding terrorism and reasoning. His book is clear and easy to read. Don't miss class ever. Four papers, hw, and some quizzes. Highly recommend.
I took his 8 week class. It goes fast, I was scared at first and almost dropped. Dixon breaks down the subject and teaches it well. There is plenty of time to work in class and get help. His suggestions really help and he is not only a great teacher, but a great guy. Will take again!
Amazing professor who enjoys what he does. His lectures were engaging and the work is not too bad if you don't get behind. Very encouraging and is honest. This was my favorite class at Rio so.
Scotts critical thinking class changed my thinking at the deepest of levels. He is a great instructor, very clear and will help you with anything. Just talk to him! This class was great. I am taking his logic class next just because he is teaching it.
He keeps it real. He told me drop the first time I took his logic course cuz I wasn't going to class. I took him again and got an A, glad I took his advise. He cared about my gpa and success. Go to class and you will learn.
He's a really good teacher. Don't hesitate to take a class with him. In this class, intro to logic, 10% of your grade is a quiz and participation, and the other 90% is divided up evenly between 3 exams. The work load is reasonable, but the material can be challenging and definitely go to class.
Prof. Dixon is a really good teacher, his classes are entertaining and his lecture and subject matter is really engaging.. I would recommend logic and his philosophy classes to anyone
three tests which he gives you study guides for and one paper doesn't get any easier than this class my girlfriend took this class online and it is even easier because you don't have to show up to class for notes
This class is challenging if you miss any days. Scott makes sure you understand the material before he moves on. I applied what I learned in this class to my other classes and it worked. This class was very valuable to me!!
Professor Dixon goes above and beyond to be sure that his class is in sync with his lectures. There's a fair amount of reading and work. There's four papers and quizzes but can be done if you do what he tells you to do. The terrorism stuff is eye opening and scary at times. Take Dixon, you will learn a lot.
He's such a cool professor. We got to watch some really interesting movies/videos in class that really make you think. Also some quizzes (gives you what you need to pass), and a few papers that weren't too bad. He was pretty fair with grading as long as you at least tried.
Probably my favorite class I've taken. No attendance policy but I always went because I looked forward to his class. Material is sometime hard to comprehend but he somehow makes it really clear and easy to understand. Very interesting as well. He's a funny guy too. One of the best profs I've ever had at Rio.
He made Logic class easy to learn. Very knowledgeable and funny.
I took his hybrid 101 course. Just keep up with the work and you will be fine. He is funny, blunt and helps if you need it. Go to class for the test material and do the study guides. I had another professor before and I failed. Got a B in Dixon's class.
Scott is truly an awesome professor one of the best I've had so far. He is very clear of what is expected throughout the course, no surprises. He gives you all the material you need to pass the class, and if you need any help he is there to answer any questions.
This was one of the best classes I've taken at Rio, and Scott is a fantastic instructor. He has a great sense of humor and can make the topics fun. Attend every class and copy all of the notes he gives, and you will do fine. He grades fairly and answers e-mails quickly.
Real world language and topics in a philosophy class! Interactive, animated, and funny. Scott got us thinking about what we are doing, and why. Topics can be serious at times, so be ready to think. Online quizzes, in class exams, and a few papers. Follow his directions exactly on the papers and exams.
Scott is a very practical and realistic instructor. He teaches in a way that students will be able to take what they have learned in the classroom and apply it to their normal, everyday life. The class is very straightforward; just show up everyday and do the work.
Scott is actually the best professor I have hud this far in attending all my classes at community college as well as the smartest person I know. He is very clear in explaining things to you and very knowledgeable about what he teaches. He helps you if you need help, you just have to ask.
This guy is awesome! His lectures are the best and he cares what he talks about. He has a good sense of humor also. Cool thing about his class is that he always keeps his classes shorter than what they really are. I'm taking his critical thinking class this summer with him also so should be cool. I'll keep you guys posted on that
Scott is super approachable for a (former?) powerlifter with tattoos. He presents ethical theory objectively, and adds great value to it by offering his take. Makes the old field of ethics relevant and practical. Looked forward to class and all of the assignments were more than reasonable. Go to class, bring a coffee, take good notes.
Dixon is a great professor! Although he looks intimidating, he is a great and is clear the first day of class of what he expects. I took him for the summer, so the work was half in person and half online. His papers are clear and his grading is fair, he gives study guides and his test are easy if you read the chapters which are short
If you take his critical thinking class, you'll never think the same way about the media and what you've been taught. His class is organized and teaches you to understand how to think better. I took the hybrid course. Do not miss class and do the work on time, online quizzes especially. Dixon cares about you getting most of out of his class.
Just finishing up his 101 online. Workload is manageable and clear, lectures are good, and he answers email fast! The last part of the class I really liked on stoicism and the meaning of life. Not a lot of discussion and the he gives you the readings, so you don't have to buy a book. I would take him again!
Scott is an awesome professor, when logic becomes challenging he finds a way to make it unique and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!!!
I took this class in hybrid format. This class was very interesting and got straight to the point. Assignments were constructive but not overwhelming. Scott Dixon is a very good teacher, and although the course material can be a bit heavy and confusing he breaks it down and explains thoroughly. There were two exams and 4 1,000 word papers.
Scott is the best. He makes things clear, just go to class and do the work.
He's funny, smart, and very helpful. Never miss a class and you will be ok. Use the hints he gives you to understand the rules. Make sure you do the pretests before exams because they help a lot.
This class was a real eye opener. He really knows a lot about conspiracy theories and how to see if they are true or not. But it was not easy. Some of the readings were difficult but Scott explains things well. There were a few short papers, a few tests, and online work that were reading questions. If he offers this class again, be sure to take it.
He is one of the most chill teachers I have ever had. He's really nice and explains things well. Your grade is based on three tests and some homework. Just go to class, you work everyday and learn.
Great teacher. Very effective in terms of teaching the material. When I took him, studying his lecture notes was all I needed for the classwork and exams. However, in order for the lecture notes to make sense, you have to show up to class and do the work. He mainly uses the book for problems.
Amazing Professor and very easy! Took his online course (Phil101), all we had to do was watch videos and take quizzes on them. There was also some discussions. It is all very interesting make sure you take notes and you will pass with an A!
I love the way he teaches. He's helpful and is willing to explain it until you understand it. Do the online work on time and do not get behind. He's really nice.
This class was a real eye opener. He really knows a lot about conspiracy theories and how to see if they are true or not. Professor Dixon really cares for his students and he makes his lectures fun and easy to understand.
Absolute best professor I've had at Rio Hondo. All his lectures are great. He has a pretty cool and different grading criteria where you can take a big exam to replace all the other ones. One of the few classes I've had where I couldn't wait for the lecture to start, never missed a class.
Love Dixon, he doesn't waste your time. If you show up on time, do the work, and ask questions when you don't understand something, you do well. Learn the rules like he says!
Im finishing up his 101 online course. Video quizzes, short readings, a few discussions, and a short paper. I learned a lot, fun class. He will not reset quizzes so be sure you dont' have any connection problems. There are problems with the Canvas app, so use a computer. He answers email very quickly! Overall, a very good experience.
Ive taken Dixon for three classes 101, 110 and 120. I like him because he is honest, friendly and funny. The work matches the class, as long as you go, you know what is going on. He cares a lot about his students, he was very helpful to me during a family emergency. My favorite was 110. I learned a lot about how to write and analyze better.
I definitely recommend taking Dixon for anything Philosophy. I took his online class and it was pretty easy. For the final all you need to do is answer 3 questions, one of which concerns your life narrative. He has video lectures which explain everything you need to know for the quizzes. A simple but effective class.
Scott's 110 class is a great class. You realize that he actually shows you how to think critically about things. You have to go to class everyday or you will miss something. We had 3 papers, about 10 online quizzes and 3 exams. But it all works together to help you understand.
My boyfriend took a symbolic logic class at another school at the same time. I learned more than he did and got an A! I tutored him for part of his course. Scott is clear, helpful, and explains very well but you have to do the work too. At times, I was lost but he assured me that I would understand and I did. Learn the rules!
Prof. Dixon is probably the BEST prof. i've had in Rio Hondo. Loved his class. Makes this subject relatable and easy to understand. His notes are organized and work load is moderate. Do the reading and the lectures make sense. I recommend this prof. 100%. He's funny and his class is entertaining.
I love Professor Dixon! I took this class and it was great, he has his own book which make things easier to understand. His lectures are heavy (at times). Attendance is mandatory (although, shouldn't all classes be? lol). Anyway, I am currently taking 2 more classes this semester with Professor Dixon and I like them already!!
I look Professor Dixon for POLS 125 and all of his lectures and course materials were incredibly helpful and relevant to the course. He is a fair grader and also truly cares about his students.
Really good professor, makes his lectures funny. Make sure to start on the papera early because everything will pile up. Also the books read them because they will help alot. Most of the homework will be reactions or responses about videos on canvas. Really good professor.
Doesn't do his own teaching, he just records someone else teaching and expects you to understand whatever they are teaching. Instructions on certain discussions seem very confusing.
Love Dixon. His online 101 is simple but effective, discussions every week, quizzes over his lectures and other ones, and one paper at the end. You have to read and pay attention to the lectures to do well. Im in his 110 course now and it is detailed and fun most days. Lecture heavy about 60% of the time, but the rest is group work. Great class.
Very great professor, just make sure to go to class or you will fall really behind by just missing even 1 class.
I took Dr Scotts class in the Fall. The hybrid course is organized and class is fun. We studied philosophy issues in criminal law. Quizzes weekly and class discussion. Definitely recommend this class to prelaw students
Awesome Professor. His class was mostly video, lecture, read, and quiz. Super interesting. Not work load heavy.
Scott gives amazing lectures! Hes funny and chill. Class is never boring and teaches pretty well! Dont skip class. The important stuff happens during lecture! Took him in Fall 2018.
Took this course in the summer. Make sure you read and take notes of what youre reading to complete your quizzes. If you do the reading theyll be easy to do pass. Assignments are easy too just read and listen to his lectures.
A week's worth usually consist of some readings, lectures, quizzes, and discussions. He provides all the readings in PDF. Lectures & videos are interesting and pretty entertaining. Quizzes are 5 questions, super easy, takes 2-3 minutes when he gives you 15 minutes. Final is 3 questions, I think it was like 750-1000 words, super easy.
Scott is very straightforward about what he expects from you as a student and he is very caring. He met with me outside of class over four times to help me understand. He is passionate about the subject and wants you to succeed. Not an easy class, but I learned a lot and it has helped me in my other classes.
Professor Dixon's Asynchronous Philosophy 101 course is extremely to the point and concise. The content is pretty easy to understand, and the tests are all open notes. This class is impossible to fail, as long as you do the work required of you. I never spent more than 1 hour a week on this course. Great content and an easy class to thrive in.
No physical lectures to attend; but provides lots of interesting material via videos, PowerPoints, online lectures. Modules are organized; reading material provided; weekly quizzes taken from readings. Makes material tangible, relatable. Easy A!
video lectures, a small amount of homework, short discussion posts. He is a very good professor had him for 101 and 110. I recommend him you will learn and pass.
Scott is great he gives very minimal hw and cuts class short all the time while making sure you understand everything. As long as you don't skip class and read the text you should get an A. He breaks down the logic rules in simple terms and goes at good pace does not rush the lessons. Don't be intimated by the first couple classes it will get easy
Professor Dixon is an amazing professor! He is great with his communication skills as well as is always more than willing to help you out if you can't understand what's going on. He is also very kind and patient when it comes to his lectures! He also keeps them interesting and fun unlike many other professors at Rio.
One of the best professors I have had in a long time, always willing to help and explain anything.
He genuinely knows a lot and is very knowledgeable. He helps you succeed and is very approachable. He is always willing to lend a helping hand and makes an effort to relate to his students. He is fair and reasonable, grades quickly. Take him!
Prof. Scott is very nice and helpful. I liked his class a lot, but he keeps you busy. There were a lot of exercises to do, argument and book quizzes, and three papers. He grades quickly and is always available for help.
Dr. Dixon's Death course is chill. There is work every week but never too much. Take the reflections and discussions seriously or lose points. I came out with a better understanding of how life and death relate, and some current issues in death like cartel violence and medical suicide. Very fair grader. He will meet with you if you need help.
Super helpful and easy to access out of class. Zoom meetings are great. So organized, there is no excuse for anyone to get lost. Weekly reading, but it helps you to master the material. The discussions help you write your papers if you pay attention to them. His video examples added so much clarity to some confusing concepts. Take his class!!!
This professor is one of my favorites because of how clear he makes everything. There is always access to all of the lectures which is extremely helpful if you are struggling understanding concepts from the chapter readings, and he leaves helpful comments on assignments that you may have misunderstood. I strongly recommend this class.
Just finished his course. Everything is clear and easy to do if you pay attention. Highly recommend him, he made philosophy easy.
Scott was one of the best teachers I have ever had. His class was also one of the best I've ever taken. The reading is short. His lecture videos can be long, but they are informative and help you understand the text! He gets back to you quickly. I met with him twice over Zoom and he helped me a lot. His heart is definitely in his job and it shows.
Dixon's 110 was interesting and taught me an interesting way to reason. Once you understand the ADM, it is fun to apply. There are quite a few assignments but all of them help you learn. I am taking him again in the spring and recommend him highly. My counselor recommended this course instead of ENG201.
Scott was an amazing professor. He is incredibly down-to-earth and caring. He doesn't have a superiority complex, and doesn't treat you like you're stupid when you don't understand something. The coursework itself is fun but time consuming. As long as you pay attention to his lectures and do the exercises you're set. He was a great teacher.
Professor Dixon was the best professor I had at Rio, his class is straightforward and his lectures in person are interesting.
Amazing professor! The work was straight forward and everything was clear. One of the few courses I felt like I was genuinely learning something. As long as you keep up then you'll be fine, reading can get tiring but it was interesting to apply it to everyday life.
Dr. Dixon is okay for this class. Most of the work is very doable, just make sure to ask for help on the argument quizzes because they are the most difficult. Make sure to put in effort to pass the class.
Dr. Scott is tough but such a great teacher. If you don't understand something, there are multiple channels for clarification. I never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a response. He is a tough but fair grader, and he wants to make sure you understand the material. Follow his rubrics and it is clear what to do, he doesn't try to trick you.
Prof. Dixon is a caring and knowledgeable instructor who makes complex material engaging. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of readings and assignments. Unstuckstudy was a game-changer for test prep. Highly recommend this course!
Strict, but clear grading criteria
Honestly I struggled for that A but I got it done. Dixon isn't bad he just knows his stuff and does not mess around. Be clear, be thorough, and really understand what he's asking. A couple quizzes throughout but nothing crazy. Make sure to read though and watch his lectures for extra help.
I took a summer class in person with Dr. Dixon. All the readings were on Canvas and pretty short. We had a quiz every day for five weeks, but he told us exactly what would be on them. He's funny, smart, and kind, and he made learning fun for me. I totally recommend his class—just show up, do the work, and you'll learn a lot.
Professor Dixon is a professor that keeps you engaged in your learning process and genuinely wants you to understand his course. I took him during the summer for his PHIL122: Philosophical Perspectives on Death and Dying, I highly recommend taking that course as you might be sad (the way I was) when it ends.
Great professor, He gives a rubric for everything thats done, discussions assignments etc as long as you meet the word counts for what he asks you should be good. I recommend taking him if you need the class his lectures are informational and help with all the assignments. 10/10
Very nice professor. Provided informative videos for each unit that really helped out. Workload isn't bad, and he explains the assignments thoroughly. Overall, the course was very interesting. If you plan on taking this course, I highly recommend taking it with professor Dixon
