The course was converted to on-line after extended spring break. Did a really good job to notify students on black board what the changes would be. Unlike some other profs, didn't just post slide recordings, did live sessions on Collaborate that were recorded so could watch later if couldn't attend. Really appreciated his efforts.

Really knows his stuff. Content can be challenging but fair, so you learn a great deal. There were 2 exams, and 6 Homeworks, which were clearly discussed in class so know what was expected to done. Solid choice if you want an easy A or already know the language. His slides are based on the textbook, and the assignments aren't that bad either(he goes over them in class so I feel like there's more emphasis on learning and less on stressing for a good grade). Extremely chill. Not the best teacher, but he is accessible outside of class. If you already have a basic understanding of CS, his class will be super easy. Course spends first half reviewing C++. This was beneficial, helped me understand C++ for later use. Second half concentrates on data structures. The easiest professor I have ever taken. He basically gives you the answers to the tests, the quizzes have infinite tries, and the projects are simple (plus he also gives you a lot of the code for the project).

This is a safe place you can challenge yourself without failling. He will go through assigments and test to make sure you can't pass the class. The only advise I can give it, just don't lazy and depend on hime too much, teach yourselft too.

W prof. Easy A and you barely have to spend any time on the homework/activities. He gives away 90% of the test before each exam as well so it's basically impossible to not do well in this class.

He literally gives out solutions to projects and reads over the exams so you know exactly what's going to be on the test making his classes really easy. You can tell he cares about his students and is pretty knowledgeable in his field. However, his teaching pace is quite slow and its quite difficult to actually learn much in the class.

Take this class only for the easy A+ cuz he literally gives out the answers to the tests and assignments. Other then that his teaching ability is subpar at best.

The course had strat up problems being taught online through Blackboard. The professor did a good job making adjustments (due dates and lecturing) by using teams until UTD fixed the problem. Professor Dollinger is the best CS 1337 teacher you can have. Teaches well, very easy course work and will walk you through all concepts and assignments. Department tried to create a common midterm for 1137 (?). The department effort was last minute mess. This professor posted last minute practice sets that required much of the his time and effort. His 2 sections did the best out of all. Such dedication is exceptional. He is very student centric and students really learn. Newly minted GOAT.

1337 midterm was a last minute common exam mess that was a disaster. Thankfully, this professor took a effort to make sure he taught the material on the test. His 2 sections scored the highest test average. Other section's students told of horrible flunk rates (upto 75 %). I really appreciate this professor's dedication. He's a gem.
