In feaster's class, it's more of a debate type class, he is funny. but you have to do you work inorder to pass.

One of the best professor at BCC! He applies his teachings to your lives,you even get the option of writing a journal paper instead of a regular boring one!I took all 3 of his classes!He's that good.He's silly & funny.This is what college is about thinking & laughing,applying it to your life!GOT A+

He may come off as weird, but he is just passionate about what he does, and that is analyze films and dreams. Some of the movies are pretty good if you keep an open mind. If you don't like to think i suggest you don't take his class.

Very good teacher!He is very self-spiritual and likes to apply it to his class. Very helpful on essay meets with you on a one on one. I'm not very good essay writer but I recieced (B). Oh, Get involve in class discussion and do extra credit if needed.

Wonderful, funny, and a little crazy. Makes class fun and is very passionate about everything. Will help you if you ask and show up to class. Extra credit for going to the movies with or without him. Take him for a refreshing change !!!!!!

Most memorable college professor I will ever have.The man is extremely passionate about his work.As long as you do whats required its an easy class. He makes you think about what you read and likes input. Extremely laid back and open atmosphere. Hell, you can even get up, get food, come back and eat in class. And the class always sits in a circle!!

Great teacher, a littile weird but cool. His classes are very interesting. always talking about drugs. His books are kinda hard to read at first but you'll come around eventually.

He wants you to read great minds and then asks you to discuss, he helps you understands and introduce incredible enlightening new ideas. Great human being and a laidback professor. Taught me a lot, incredible lessons and input in his part. Love his classes. Take his Film as Literature class. He truly cares about his students. GREAT, SIMPLY GREAT.

He is very helpful to the students on achieving their goals to a better grade. His knowledge of grammar and literature is superb and is his methods of instruction is nothing like I have ever seen before.

Absolutely terrific. He's one of the few professors who's interested in something other than teaching the mind. He wants you to get something profound and spiritual out of the class, and he pulls it off.

He is an excellent teacher, 80% of the course he let you write at home. Even though the books you read are difficult, you feel very comfortable in his class. He is very funny. If English is not your first language you will feel comfortable in his class and not under pressure.

He dresses like a 17th century englishman, he's not always clear, but he's very helpful. If I could grade him I'd give him a C. I recommend him for an easy A.

Awesome Prof! His class consits of lots of communication. Very easy going, great personailty and funny. I definitely recommend this Prof to future students taking ENG 1102.

Prof. Feaster is a excellent teacher very understanding to our daily problems that may pop up; problems that may affected our attendance or lack of information and home work, etc. he will give appointments(Be on time) to see him and extended time to make up work. Great and funny teacher will be taking his 1102 class next semester.

Professor Feaster is UNIQUE! He had us sit in what he called the 'circle of love' and strongly encouraged discussions. Most importantly, you'll develop an appreciation for Emersonian views & a deeper connection w/ ur spirituality.I took him about a year ago and I can still remember how he cracks me up from his cooky personality to his strange fashion style!

He's such a cool teacher! He has the strangest sense of humor, and he loves to teach (thats always a good thing).

Prof. is the most hilarious person with a very high sense of humor towards life. I love his oldfashion way and his very historical discussions. If you pay attention, participate, be a scholar and have a positive attitude, you'll definitely pass.

Feaster was my fourth attempt at ENC1101. Very approachable. Through working with him, I was able to earn an A. Made me love English. Best teacher I ever had. I have never learned so much and had so much fun doing it. Very Smart, funny, and understanding. Sometimes it looks like he's high but it's just on life. Took us to the movies and friday's.

The best professor I ever had. I got A's in both compositions. He is very unique, gives the majority of the essays to do it at home. Also you will never feel nervious in his class even though he makes you sit in circle every class. English is not my first language, and i'm so glad i took these course with professor Feaster the best of all.

Must say, a little on the looney side but definitly his weirdness made me interested in what he had to say. He always seemed to have a very good handle at life, and loved his own jokes. Very funny and and great teacher.

Prof. Feaster is a great professor and I recommend taking his class. Although he has unique manners to orchestrate his teachings, in the end you should realize that if you did the work he'll give you a great grade. He feeds off of participation and a show of effort - but if you plan to sit back and go for a ride, it may be more of a challenge.

This teacher is simply amazing..if your not an idiot you'll pass this class with ease. The only question is how high your grade will be. I took him for 1101 and 1102 and got an A both times. And I barely showed up to class in the beginning but towards the end I actually wanted to go to class. Just join his circle of love and you'll love it.

Good professor. He is a bit...unique. But through the semester i realized that he is a good teacher and a good person. Some of the literature is difficult to understand, but he'll help you through it. I recommend you take his classes

Feaster is a nice guy with a good sense of humor. You have four essays throughout the class and hes a pretty lenient grader and very helpful is you have any questions. His lectures are extremely boring and not really useful. He makes you buy 3 books, Emerson, Writing Handbook and "Style"...you never even open "Style" so dont waste your money.

I absolutely love Professor Feaster!!! He is such an amzing person and someone that I high regard. I took him for both ENC1101 and ENG2101 and loved both classes. Yes he is a bit eccentric but thats him and what makes him amazing, a must to take! Join his "Circle of Love" lol!

I LOVE this teacher. I highly recommend him for anyone who loves exploring the mind and really thinking. He's not that difficult of a person to understand, but if you are all about structure, then maybe he's not the right teacher for you. Absolutely one of a kind, he's one of the best teachers I've ever had.

He a great teacher and i can say the first half of class you will not be talking about the work. But he good if you ask questions but gives you a crazy answer. All his essay are based on Emerson so if you don't understand listen very well in class. Take notes when he talks about the book and try to review. His grade contract is really good.

He is very different, but he is also passionate about his art; he knows his stuff. He challenges his students to come out of their comfort zones and explore abstract ideas. His 'circle of love' is suppose to take away the formality of a class room and allow for everybody to be engaged freely with on another. Great class, great teacher!

excellent instructor, he explains what he is looking for in the essays and he makes it fun. If you write down everything he puts on the board and says you will have all you need to write each essay.

Proffesor Feaster is a very intelligent person. Although he is a little difficult to understand sometimes, you will learn from him. He likes people to talk and to interact in the class. If you enjoy talking and having intelligent conversations take him. if you enjoy sleeping and sitting in your seat and texting ur friends dont.

You all need to stop hating on Feaster he is the most open minded teacher in BC. sure he's unclear about what he expects because all he expects is that you show him you learned something new. His midterm and final combined for a total of 7 questions. His final paper was simple and we watched movies in every class. Yea hes a pothead but who isnt lol

If you favor the artificial person, do not take Feaster; he is a creative combination of strings, creating his irresistible personality.

Use A Writer's Reference for the proper format of a MLA paper; he will not review this. The class is designed for the student to work independently, so read the books required. He will interpret Emerson, but do not be lazy; you must read the essays beforehand to gain more of a grasp of what Emerson is saying. Essays to read: Heroism, & Friendship.

His class inspired me to become more of a confident person and to not fear stating my opinions. If you allow yourself to open up to him and Emerson, you will have a life changing experience! You must be willing to work hard in his class, but the dividends are greater than you can imagine. He is an inspirational professor and extraordinary person.

Awesome professor! He is an intelligent professor and has high expectations for his students. If you develop a relationship with him as a professor, you will do well. Be attentive and be sure to ask questions until you gain a thorough underatanding of the task ahead.

Great professor. He is a tough grader but he's fair. If you make appointments and work hard you can get an A. You also have to get involved with the reading actually care about it, show it through your paper and you will get an A. Also his A is 94-100, B 84-93 and so on. So if you get an A you deserved it trust me.

The class is okay, I'm not really sure what I learned tho..

This class was okay. Not enough of a challenge for me. I literally completed all assignements the day before it was due and in an hour and still received an A. I though we were going to explore Shakespeare further , nevertheless the topics would range to anything but. It was a big bore and I did not learn anything.

He's super easy.. There are two 3 paragraph papers that are due and they are super easy. its based on your opinion so there no right or wrong. His personality is actually good and he isn't stuck up. There is NO TEST OR QUIZZES. NO online work. EASY A

There to offer help - if you have initiative to ask and accept his input. Still easy to get a low grade if you don't make the effort.

If you want an A on your papers you have to go to him during his office hours, he is very picky on what he wants and grades hard. This class is not an Easy A

This professor isn't for everyone. If you're interested or good in English I would highly recommend him. To me, the class was pretty easy. Only 2 short papers and one final paper. The class was based around The Essays of Robert Emerson who's a more philisophical figurative kind of writer. Very nice and helpful.

This is a easy class to pass. Make sure you listen carefully to what he is saying and you will be fine.

This professor was life changing to me. He inspired me to read, write and think about what life is truly about. He thought my class about personality types and how to use it as a tool to find the author in you. If you make the effort and visit him during his office hours, you will find out he will go any lengths to help you.

He is very friendly and will go above and beyond to help his students IF you seek his help. He is not a tough grader, but he will make you earn your grade. If you're looking for an easy A then he's not the professor for you. Professor Scott encourages you to think outside the box and work on your weak areas as a writer.

Professor Feaster class at first seemed hard, as it was based on The Essays Of Emerson. It was confusing for me at first because I am not into philosophy/ Shakespeare. Once you speak with the teacher and provide your concerns, you will be fine. No mandatory labs, no online homework, three papers due which does not have to be lengthy.

Very kind professor. He speaks a lot but is nice and willing to help if you need it. Essay's aren't too hard if you read the instructions carefully. Class consists of a total of 5 assignments, so you have to really do well on all of them to get a good grade. He is very lenient and understanding.

Dr. Feaster is a gem to discover. If you ask for help and he knows you want to learn he will be 100% on your side. I learned a lot from my personality test and how he applies it to writing. The books he suggested were both enchanting and I enjoyed reading them.
